Let me get this straight, you have a crystal keyboard and mouse, if you use it too much it breaks, you want to win just by cheating, taking advantage of the game's broken resources, if you disagree with that you wouldn't mind this mechanic being improved, now tell me, what's wrong with improving Face Camp for you? Will your win rate drop?
Ehm what? What cheating? What taking advantage and what broken resource?
As I said - it's work as it is intended. No need the fix in it anything (it was bugged by lvl differences, but it is patched out fast). BHR never said, it is antiCAMP. They said camping is part of the game.
Maybe the problem is that you don't know what is facecamping. Since survivors used it for everything now facecamping means that even if the killers look back to the hook from 70 meters it is facecamping. Actually it is more then facecamping, since it has a pretty large area. So I really do not understand what cheating and taking advantage are you talking about.
And no, it is not about my "winrate". It is about that you try to have free unhooks for the nothing.
-
No, not just because they communicate better. They also will help each other, even sacrifice themself for each other. Which many solo people will not. SWF members will hide in the corner only at the very end of the trial, while soloq will do it way faster.
SWF will not kill themself on firsthook because they rage about the killer or how fast they got downed. Well maybe they will, but then deicide it together, and not ruining the game whole the whole party. And many like this. So yeah.

There are 2 more excellent reason why i would never tunnel:
- Treating other people like you would like to be treaten. Nobody enjoys getting proxycamped and tunneled off the hook, so i dont do that. A mindblowing concept for some, i know. There is lack of empathy in those who dont care about other people, especially in a video game/internet. Here you can always see the true color of people. In RL they might be nice, but mainly because of consiquences. Be an ahole in a game wont have any consiquences at all so they can be as terrible as possible. "But other people genrush and tbag me all the time" does not excuse anything. It only makes the other side aweful aswell, but not you as a tunneling killer any better.
- GET GOOD. Yeah right, imagine the only reason you win as a killer is to tunnel and camp. I would not feel like a good player, i would rather feel like relying on cheap tricks. Top tier killer can easily win those games without playing in a discusting way, so why should you stop trying to reach that level? What means winning when abuse super easy tactics? "But they other side genrushs and blablabla..." does not justify that you wont try to get better and become a good killer at all. Excuses wont help either. Do or not do, there is no try. So just simply, get good.
I really don't understand why people try to tell others how they have to play a game. Why would anybody need "excuses" and "justify" how they played? They play how they want. Just like the other side play and use what they want. Sure, getting tunneled is not a big fun for most of the people. But killers also can tell many things what are not fun for them. But people will still do it.
Why would a killer want, or should want to make the trial harder for themself? Like... Survivors wouldn't finish gens as fast as they can to get out? How it is different?
And... Seriously get good? Killers can say the same. Get good, and you will be not on the hook, or get caught again. Just get good, and use more 2nd chance perks. I hope that you see why this is not a real argument there.
-
I think it would be horrible for the game. Knowing how many edgelord, and toxic people plays this game they would constantly leave lobbies when the perks aren't good enough for them. It would force people to play certain perks, what the other's think they have to play. And if not, they leave. Which would be also a bad thing, since matchmaking at that point just fill up lobbies the fastes possible way.
Also when you try to play random perks (as a challange, or as content for your audience) they would reeeee etc. I think it would create more drama and problem then how usefull would be.
-
Yet the survivor can get up with perks, even manage to unhook. Or they can crawl away, and find the hatch. If the first is hooked first, they can jump, and get up the other one, and still turn the table. Not much chance, but still there. With this it would be alltogether removed, and encourage slug all 4 survivors the wholegame, which would not good for the health of the game. And I say this as killer main.
Killers already many times wasting a huge amount of time "slugging for 4k". It just would be worse.

Ultimate weapon has already been complained about, that's apart of the issue but not the main issue. It's her trap timer.
Being TTV increases your chances of getting tunnelled exponentially.
How about remove it then? And honestly - getting tunneled for TTV is not a Pig nerfing reason...
-
The main problem is that people think this is antiCAMP system. It is antiFACECAMP, to give a chance to people to do something when otherwise there would be nothing. There is no need to improve it, it works surprisingly good.
And I am laughing, because earlier I was memeing with that survivors scream camping even if the killer look their way... And now you actually would like it. Did you considered that if a teammate runs to the hook, and the killer is behind them they looking to that way, so you would get a free unhook for the nothing, when even the killer is not there? How would it be good for the game?
-
I never harras anybody over a game, and I still would like to see who talked some crap in endgame to me. Because I do not want to play with them any more. And also I would like to know when some otherwise "cool" guy act like a jerk while not online and nobody sees it. Or when they are cheaters, and I already got them earlier...

A second hook option like Pyramidhead has, would be nice. Like the challenges in the movies.
The downed survivor get a black out and finding themselves in different situations.
Or they just escape the trial if the killers look on them while they have a trap on their head

Great, so what does cheating even mean? Because using reshade and filters is not bannable and was explicitly allowed by the devs... soooooo?
Of course it is allowed, since they cannot do anything to prevent using it...
-
I agree. At least irishard, but not BP what I get within 2 hours of playing.
-
Say what? Oo
Cheating and have no right? :D From where people get these ideas? Every time when they gout ouplayed instead of come up a solution it need nerfed, removed, it is cheating etc.
Seriously, like others told - keep kicking Victor, so the killer keep getting back - free win, if others repairing gens.
-
There is a perk to speed up unhookspeed. But seriously why? I mean reading a few posts it looks like for me that at this points survivors literally want free unhooks, even more completly remove the killer's ability to kill them in any form or outplay survivors by mechanics.
Grabs already removed (i still don't understand why). What you want next, a wall around hooked people? And the killer still should be able to kill 4 people while they finish 5 gens? Seriosly...
-
I didn't find any mention in your post about how unfun is playing against for the people builds or sabo builds or bullysquads, or genrushers...
Whats next, if killers not pick up survivor within 3 seconds then they healed to full?
But to be honest survivors should be able to speed up bleeding out, so they can get out a match like this faster if they want to.
-
I am absolutly agreed. Especially since survivors getting more and more basekit. Genspeeds are the biggest problem I think since a really long time, even tho the got adjusted.
-
How in the hell trap timers are to low? Maybe with 2 timer addon it can be problematic. But otherwise all you have to do is stay low, and go to the boxes.
If your teammates not help you at all in those "chases" while the pig crouch, also finish a gen at the worst time etc it is not the Pig's fault and not needed to nerf. People should use their brain in scenarios like this.
My mind is blowing that some survivors think that every killer's power and perks should favor THEM instead of the killer. What would be enough? Every survivor should get speed and endurance every time a killer uses their power? Maybe also some progress in a random gen.
-
There is no camping issue, what anybody tried to solve.
I think you missunderstood the concept. Also a part of that confusion comes from those "creators" who scream about camping and tunneling even when the killer just look their way, so people started to think it is some privilage to get off the hook, get healed and finish a few gens before the killer even starts a new chase.
As it was mentioned, this is antifacecamp, where the victim have almost no chance since others cannot save him, especially without a trade.
But camping existed, and I hope will exist always in the game. There is many perks in the game which can help situations like those

That's ridiculous. He can just stand there and when a survivor comes close he'll just approach to the hook since a survivor being around the hook pauses the bar. So it nullifies everything you just said.
Yes. It is the proper way. Why would get a free unhook the survivor when even people nearby to protect them?
-
They will be able to unhook themself if the killer hard camps them. But they don't care about camping. The killer leaves them, people go for the unhook, and they still kill themself. It is nothing to do with camping, people just say "f this #########" at first down. And it ruins the game for 4 people (even as a killer games like this is not fun)

The only real way I could see this working is if the killer got some sort of setup phase where the survivors hadn’t spawned yet. Otherwise ur not gonna have time because killer games are constant action (most of the time)
You can deicide that you go ot use your hex, or keep chasing. Just like with boon totems. Or just like with pentimento. It would be still way better then the current state, where the game just started and you already lost one of your perks because somebody spawned on it.

3 gen is said to be reworked soon, so I think that would not matter. Also, I think that doing totems should keep the progress if you leave it very much like chests. This would prevent issues with over protection of totems!
It would be horrible. Survivors would 99 all the tomes and if anything happens they just instantly brake it.
-
Which killer got rework on their speed?
-
Also there should be a button which kills the killer instantly.

@Gandor said:
If AHC means antifacecamp feature, then I disagree. I see no reason why hooking should not happen. If survivors swarm the hook, timer is so slow, that it basically does not work. If we are talking about hooking altogether, then this does not change anything at all. If we are talking about facecamper - that's intended mechanics which makes the game much more interactive. If we are talking about proxy campers - this mechanics does exactly nothing. I literally see no problem here.
As for the multiple floors problem - I said so in different post already. Nurse being on the different floor does not mean anything. For other killers it very much depends - say garden of joy camping bottom of stairs (which is super close to top-floor hook) most definitely is camping that is basically comparable to facecamp. Being on a different floor in Midwitch on M1 killer is like being on the other side of map.
But after thinking about it - say trapper has no reason to stay directly above/below hooked survivor for prolonged time if he's not chasing someone - so this shouldn't be any issue. But camping stairs (to basement or on GoJ but even in Thomson house) makes perfect sense for a killer - so given these interactions I would leave multi-level logic the way it is in PTB.
How would be in another part of the building is the same as facecamping?
-
It could be an infinite if there is another window near it with the same log but this is far from infinite... It is max a little bit annoying.
-
It is good, that you play in an MMR when survivors cannot loop.
And just because there are other combos too which are broken doesn't mean that this is not, and we shouldn't point it out.
When something is not broken only if people cannot use it, then it is a bad balanced thing.
You are writing about specific scenarios and how to play... I know (and I assume some others are also who complain about those) how to play the game. It's not invalidate that those combination is way overpowered for the nothing. It is almost like old DS or DH when you win because you hit a button.
Both perks gives you speed with only benefits, no drawback, no effort. You will get Hope even if all you did the whole match is urbaning in a corner and others did the job.
Also maps are made for base movementspeed. And even without that speed they are pretty bad (I am sure you also saw loops with 2 pallets near each other with windows and such). They are bad enough without that speed, and it just make it worst. It is simply shouldn't be or work together at this state of the game when also gen speed is a huge issue. And even survivors agree with it with thousands of hours in the game.
https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Movement_Speeds <- go check the numbers. Every 4.4 killers and below will be on the same speed as the survivor. So if they got distance you will never reach them. And even faster killers will struggle to catch up with them
But yeah. In some scenarios (when nobody can open the gate, the hatch is already closed) it will not help. Until MFT at least in the endgame you could comeback a little after you got genrushed within 4 minutes. Now it is gone also.
-
Agreed.
Also when BHVR "fighting" against toxicity why bots keep tbagging into my face? Maybe it was fun at start, maybe it is fun in a custom game. But definitly not fun after x trials when you got bullied already, then even the bots want to ######### on you

I really don't think there's a single answer to that. Someone could just be having a bad match for all kinds of reasons. Maybe the killer or teammates are being toxic. Maybe the person's getting tunneled. Maybe they just made a huge mistake (and one mistake by one person is enough to cost the entire match, I've found, even if the person doesn't quit). Maybe the person is just unlucky and kept getting found by the killer. Who knows?
So they move on to the next match hoping that it'll be better than the last one.
There no need any answer. Anybody who throw the game, and ruin it for all the other players in it should be punished. They should take a brake if they are in that mindset. And no matter why, that it is tunnel or unluck or anything. If they cannot handle it, then they shouldn't be able to que up again and ruin the game for more player.

Behaviour should fix what makes games consistent unfun instead of bandaid fixes such as removing the option the self unhook. If Dead by Daylight would be fun for its players, people wouldn't be suiciding on hook as much.
You are wrong. Too many entitled people in this game. It is not about the fun, they just get tilted, or they think they are better then how the killer outplayed them, or their deliverence is gone now.... So they DC or kill themself. Those would suicide just as much.
-
@NotAnotherDoctor said:
At this point with bots coming just get rid of the DC penalty so people can go next and the team can get a bot. Everyone wins.
So long as the DC penalty exists this is going to get worse, especially when spiteful survivors want to take bots away from their team, which will happen
LoL
No. Why should it taken away? The point is that those, who ruin the game for the 4 other people should be punished. The solution is not take away the penalty, but make a system to penelize those who kill themself just becase they got downed.
It could be so damn easy.... If you have no unhook perks, and there is x survivor alive, or and y gens left and you try to unhook yourself then you should be banned from que just like with DC penalty.
Disconnecting or killing yourself because the game went bad or not fun since you cannot bully the killer shouldn't be allowed or an option. Especially not since killers have to play over the trial no matter how fun it is, since they cannot kill themself. At least now, how balancing works within a few month I am sure survivors will hook the killer.

by using ambush dash? ambush dash being weak and poor answer to most loops is problem with killer power balance. its what blueberry is talking about when he says that "80% of the killer need buffs and 50% being significant buffs". you buff amanda dash when Amanda struggles to defeat survivors. that logic applies to every killer.
But you said that the problem is people not use killer's power well, since those should solve the problem of bad balanced maps. Or did I missunderstood something? Thats why I said that no, they not solve the problem, also not powers should be the answer for bad balance.

that is because you do not realize you have made a mistake. soloq has many inefficiency errors. killer also make inefficiency errors as well. there is famous quote by Johan Cruyff.
Football is a game of mistakes. Whoever makes the fewest mistakes wins.
that can be applied to every game. every game is a game of mistakes. the player that makes the fewest mistakes wins. what is important to note is that not every mistake is avoidable and not every game is perfectly fair in every instance. as a result, you have to win on the greatest sum of parts. this is to say that let say 10 scenerio's play out, 2 scenarios can be unfair/skewed against you but 8 scenarios can be changed. do not focus on 2 scenarios that are skewed. focus on the 8 scenario's where it was possible to change outcome.
"The core issue is map design however, so hypothetically if maps were correctly I would pull back on a lot of this, but I don't see those getting fixed as most their map reworks have been failures balance wise and they're still currently releasing brand new maps that already come out very unbalanced.".
map design is imbalanced in many instances but you need to focus on what is possible to change outcome on every map. I am not entirely sold that map balance is entirely the problem. I think it is more how killer deal with said problem. it is how killer powers lack gameplay towards survivor gameplay more so then maps being imbalanced. if killer uses their power well and the killer power has a lot of skill-expression then killer can mitigate and sometimes entirely avoid the map design problems entirely.
if killer uses their power well and the killer power has a lot of skill-expression then killer can mitigate and sometimes entirely avoid the map design problems entirely.
I absolutly disagree. It shouldn't be skill issue at all to counter the bad map design. Newbie players also would like to enjoy the game and win.
Also most of the killers nothing to do with it. How Amanda counter the map design in a chase with her power for example?

Survivors do not need any more basekit.

what about is overpowered? Hope is end-game perk to increase survival rate when all 5 generator are powered. MFT just happens to work with Hope to be stronger in late game.
The survivor in end game cannot hold killer hostage with speed because killer can open exit gate to start EGC. I can only see problem with haste if survivor moves faster than killer and it is before end game due to survivor creating a game hostage similar to old DBD 2016 infinities.
This is exactly the problem. The survivors move on the same speed like the killer, meanwhile they can run the loops more tight, can drop pallets, vault windows... So it is almost imposible to catch up. And since genspeed already a huge problem in many trials you could comeback at least a little in endgame, but basicly you will not. It is really overpowered without any effort (you just have to get a hit). And yeah, there are some exceptions, but it is not change the fact, that usually it is too strong. Also have zero fun to play against it. And there is no counter for it at all.
Consider it that Dark Theory was a kinda good perk with TWO percent haste. But it had counter (remove the totem) and the survivor needed to bless a totem, and stay around it. MFT gives THREE, and hope another 7. So survivors will have 4.4 speed. It is nonsense to be honest.
And it is also gives a BT when you heal somebody...

Anti tunnel perks like DS and OTR are there to keep a survivor from being killed too quickly in the early and midgame.
Anti-tunnel perks like DS and OTR are there to keep survivors alive in general. Throughout entire game. that's why these perks are as good as they are. Disabling them in end game is giving killer free kills.
why is this problematic? It means killer do not need be balanced around hooks, winning chases and map presence. After all, why bother with all that when the killers get 1-2k on average by just camping hooks in the end game assuming killer excels at camping. You might as well just put NOED as base-kit perk so that every killer gets free kills equally in end game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3148985#Comment_3148985
well written post.
Why you just again declare it free kills? How could it be a free kill, when you have to DO things to kill a survivor? While DS still just push the space in good time.
Anti tunnel perks is not for keeping alive the survivor, it is to prevent kill them way too fast. In endgame the killer cannot "tunnel" cause at that point there is nothing else to do, but down them and hook them.
And meanwhile yeah, noed should be basekit it would be the worst option. Because survivors can prevent it from activating with removing all the totems. But they rarely do it. But if it would be basekit, survivors would know they HAVE TO remove all totems. So it would be basekit, but in most matches it wouldn't activate at all.

@ad19970 said:
The nerf to tunneling is fantastic. But it doesn't affect camping a lot. We just need a few more nerfs to camping, nothing crazy, and then the game will be in the best state it's ever been.
My suggestions are still simply increasing the hook phase duration from 60 to 70 seconds, and removing hook grabs. This would not nerf killers in a particularly significant way, or in any real way, honestly, as long as the killer doesn't actually camp, it would just give survivors a better and fairer fighting chance against camping killers, which something survivors still need. Camping is just still too effective at the moment, considering how little skill it takes, and considering the fact that killers received a bunch of baseline buffs not long ago.
Can you pls stop this nonsence about the killerbuffs? The only real buff is the faster bloodlust, but if it really counts then you chase in wrong ways.
Make animations 0,3 sec faster is not a real buff. Not even with perks. Neither the less speedburst at hits if you not with a mobile, or ranged killer.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
This is a phrase I've seen used around very frequently, initially used in terms of Decisive Strike, more recently in debates around Off The Record and basekit post-unhook Endurance, and as of Project W, Reassurance. The general argument is that, during endgame, certain perks should deacitvate which hamper the killer's efforts of killing the survivor. I will try to keep my own opinions around any perks discussed here out of the conversation- feel free to look at my comment history if you're curious.
My question is, though, why should the killer get "free kills"? Because, in essence, disabling all of the anti-camp, anti-tunnel, and anti-slug tools that Survivors possess will equate to "free kills", where the Survivor team has very little they can do in terms of assisting a hooked teammate, which becomes progressively more likely as a Trial continues due to resources being consumed. Naturally, good SWF players on comms are able to bodyblock for each other and try and get their teammates to safety, but even bad SWF players or just solo queue will struggle substantially more without, say, BT or Reassurance to help with camping. And quite frankly, if you still can't get a hook after 5 gens have popped, you really don't deserve one, so the edge case of the killer having nobody on the hook nor having them been hooked the entire trial doesn't really apply.
So, why is it always that Survivors don't deserve "free escapes" and yet end-game camping/tunneling is justified because it's how the killer is able to score some last kills? Why should Survivors lose access to their tools while killers gain a massive boost to theirs (due to a lack of map resources)?
I'm genuinely curious why the argument is used so much- in my honest opinion, there are other arguments that can be used in their place which, at least to me, sound substantially less balanced.
If this post feels like a ramble and/or makes very little sense, I do apologise- I've been sat on a coach for the past 24 hours and caught an illness that's turned my brain to mush. Writing in grammatically correct sentences is about all I can manage right now, because my brain unhelpfully supplies every third word in German instead of English.
First of all - to be honest, I feel DS a little bit overnerfed. I would keep the 5 seconds before endgame, and it can be 3 sec in endgame. Then it wouldn't be nerfed to the ground, and it still wouldn't be a real free escape.
Now the rest of what you said. And it is my opinion as a killer main, maybe other killermains think other ways...
As others mentioned it too - these free escapes come in endgame. Midgame it is an antitunnel perk (mostly), even if many survivor "abused" it, forced you to "eat" it. Just like when they try to force you to hit them after BT. And this perk is not for this. But this is not the main part or what I would like to talk about.
At endgame with BT/DS/medkitaddons you have 2 healthstates. While you usually get close enough to the gate. When the killer can choose from 2 ######### options - pick you up, and eat your stun, also loose from their emblem; Or let you crawl out on the gate. And you don't have to do anything for this (well beside hit your space on that skillcheck). You can get out alive with this even if you did nothing, just repairing gens,or just hide in the corner while all the others do the work, chase with the killer and finishing gens. Just cause of a perk with almost zero effort or skill.
Meanwhile on the other hand, what you say - "free kills". It is never free. Well almost never. Because in many cases there are 2, or 3 other survivors. And I know many killer camp/tunnel at 5 gens, I usually do it only at 1 or 0 gens, when usually no other option to get some kills. And before "if you couldn't get a kill over 5 gens blahblah". The Killer is in the game too, to accomplish things. And when you play against BNPs with proove (and it is not too rare things, especially after bloodweb changes) and 3-4 gens finished at your first hook...
So in this scenaio you have to defend the hook against 2-3 survivors while they try to trick you with their hitboxes, try to blind you etc. With your skills, and killerpower. No perk will help you for free. Meanwhile the gate is opened, or at 99. If they managed, to unhook then you have to chase, down, pick up (flashlights, pallets etc can prevent you from this), bring to a hook (sabo, boil over, bodyblocks, perks can prevent you from this) and hook again.
Now compare the two things. This, and hit space. So yeah, DS is a free escape if you not forced out of survivors early (or at least it worked like this before the nerf). While you have to work hard even with your camp to secure your kill. That's why survivors get it removed at endgame, and they need to use skills instead of "tools"

I knew this was coming. You are killer main and you are playing survivor very rarely. But me, i am playing both roles equal.
It is so funny to watch that killer main is defending how strong new survivor perk is. :d Hilarious. Yeah, yeah. I am sure it is so good perk. I am sure it will be meta. Like Camaraderie.
Believe to whatever you want but whenever i play survivor, i will not use this perk. I doubt survivors will drop any of meta perks for this trash perk. It is on garbage tier now, like most of survivor perks.
Just cause YOU will not use this perk in solo, it's not means that in SWF wouldn't be extremly strong in it's old form, or it couldn't be able to abuse against somebody on the hook.
And honestly if BHVR thinks and says since years that camping is part of the game, and the killer sacrifice genpressure while camping than this perk is even in this form is strong enough. Especially now, when BT became basekit. But i know i know... I am a killer main if think something else then you, and i don't play survivor, and I am automaticly wrong, which means you automaticly right

Time is your main resource as the killer. If you cant manage it - you're gonna lose again and again.

I didn't take it personally. But it is really obvious that you think about what you say (write) is written in stone without anything, just cause you wrote it. All your argument is that you keep repeating that icons would give benefit for SWF, and the game needs voice. And when people say something whay it is not true, then you just say it again just cause "i already posted several times".
BHVR already said, that they want give action icons to show what everybody doing for info. So i really do not understand why people argue about that :D

Thank you for providing an additional response, now to address it.
One can argue that there are many situations where camping or tunneling is the most effective play. However, whether or not these strategies are effective or not, they can be noticeably frustrating for players on the receiving end. As such, considering this is a video game with a primary purpose of fun, if it is possible to lessen the effectiveness said strategies, then it should be done.
It should noted once more that these changes are intended to address camping, tunneling, and the gap between SS and SWF. These changes will indeed increase the strength of survivors by a significant margin, and as a consequence killers would receive upward adjustments either in the same patch or the following.
Mhm... Okay so if a videogame have to be fun then tell me, how much fun to get for example 0 kills? How much fun to play against a full bully team? Did you considered to make some mechanics against scenario when a survivor camps all the pallets, tbag and blinds you at every pallet? Those ones deserved a mechanic to defend them right.
It makes me remember when survivors come in with 4 flashlights, and when the killer bring lightborn they reeee that he ruined their fun. I guess they wouldn't reee against themself if they bully the hell out of the killer with the flashlights.

I´ve already posted several times where the information for solo queue, also helped SWF. In this very thread.
Yeah. And other people said otherwise. So? Why do you think only your opinion is the alpha and the omega? Yeah, voice would be grate for solos for information. But as others said, they want to enjoy the game without forced to listening ragekids if they want info from them.
We understand, YOU want coms. But others don't. And as somebody said - you still didn't say anything about how information icons would benefit more SWF teams when they are already on comms and they say what happens...

Exceptions apply.
There are basement bubbas that don´t care.
Neither when you got bullied, or when you have 1 gens and 3 uninjured survivors, or when all gens are finished. So yeah, assuming that the BP bonus made people to not camp is dumb.

Most Killers dont want to stop camping or tunneling because with a new update instead of looking for strong ways to not have to do that, they looks for ways to counter the survivor counters to tunneling and camping.
For instance DS leave them on the ground thus survivors forced to use unbreakable, killers cant counter this combo complain on forum. DS gives them free escape! Well if they made it to end game they earned it. A killer doesnt have to do anything to make it to endgame to use noed and an undeserved kill(s).
Someone has bt thats fine I'll just wait it out, someone has DH ill just wait it out. Oh wait they can DH for distance complain on forum (this one im more sympathetic to). Now its they have OTR no problem i can tunnel with stb4l, basekit BT no problem stb4l or wait it out.
I have to camp and tunnel because every match is a 4man swf on comms, no it's not, not even close, you're just bad.
Excuse me? What? Why would a survivor earned anything with having DS for endgame? Maybe just hiding the whole game, got unlucky after the last gen, and the killer camps to secure a kill. Got saved, and get out for hitting space. So it is an earned escape? But getting kills with noed is not? And meanwhile survivors CAN prevent noed, you can do nothing against DS in the endgame. Many time you can choose let them crawl out, let them use unbreakable, or pick up and get DS-ed.
Or maybe the killer didn't tunneled anybody at all, but at the end he wants a kill. So at that point you say the survivor earned a free escape cause of a perk, but boooo bad noed it gives kills which the killer didn't deserved? I will never understand survivors hissy about noed. You can remove 5 totems. If you have problems to find it, then you have items which helps you, and you have perks to find them.
And DS never defended anybody if the killer really wanted them.
I really not understand what you try to say beside the basic survivor hissy. You talking about that killers are lazy. And what about then you? You talk like it would be impossible to play without DH or DS or BT.
And you talk like if a killer camp and tunnel only, then he could win. You can still finish 2 gens meanwhile somebody dies on hook. Even if the killer tunnels, if you have brain you can loop them for a while - meanwhile others, who also have some brain will do gens.

Exactly! It made absolutely no sense.
Sure, there were killers that camped despite BBQ. But most killers just wanted to get their stacks. Without it, there is simply no incentive to leave the hook and go for someone else.
This is stupid. I really don't care how much BP i get in a match. And I am sure many other killers either. I will not leave the hook if i do not want just cause of a stack for BBQ. So I really don't think that taking this away made me camp more....

After all this years still sound bugs on basic mechanics?
- why is there most of the time no sound with the leatherface saw when hes behind you? bug for months now
- why is the heartbeat tripple as loud as the hatchsound? any reason to keep the hatch in the game at this point?
- and the most interessting for me why is the hatch even still in the game when every killer is slugging to get the sweaty 4k and on top of it why are keys still in the game? they slug you 100% when they see you have a key and only 2 survs are left. i would rather die and get into the next game instead on wasting the whole bleedout timer on the ground what is the same as holding hostage in my eyes but im not allowed to dc ty devs
- why is there still no casual and rank mode in the game.you could easily bring the average rank mechanic (before mmr) back to the casual mode and the mmr system for the ranked mode?
- why is there still no other gamemode? there are tons of suggestions out there from the community instead you bursting killer after killer out most of them without new maps. and then the new killer get played 2-3 weeks and then only rarely anymore.
1 - No comment. There was, and will be bugs in every game. You have to accept this.
2- To make it harder for both side. Not only finding the hatch, but chases too.
3 - This is nonsense, and a grate example for the emotional feedback. Not every killer slugs for 4k. And it is not sweaty. Not more, then survivors try to save somebody at the end of the game, when the killer had only a few hooks. Or not more then try to finish the 5 gens - you know this is the goal for the killer. And like survivors, usually killers too will do what they can to win. And how the hell would it be a hostage situation? Seriosly. In worst scenario you will die in 4 minutes. Killer cannot take hostage the game at all, because you will die at one point, or you will finish gens, open the gate and get out. Or you die in endgame collapse. Only survivors can take the game hostage, because if they just hide around and not doing gens, the killer literally cannot do anything to end the game. And of course you are not allowed to DC. It would abusing the hatch mechanic without any consequenses.
4 - As other told, there is no point to do this. Waiting times would be much worst. And even competitive players could que for casual games, and do the same what they would do in a ranked game.
5 - It would take many resources (time, money etc) and would be really hard to make it work. Honestly, what gamemode would work? Capture the flag? King of the hill? Cut out that 2v8, that would horrible; this game designed for 1v4 and even there we have balance issues.

That’s a problem with the games initial feedback phase. Prior to being shipped out to the PTB, this is usually tested in a smaller group of individuals in dedicated centers for such- Lionbridge serves as a wonderful example.
And in these testing examples, Sadako may have performed well due to the inexperience of the players at the center. That is why the PTB exists, to cover the bases that initial phase fails to cover. The PTB is for community feedback.
The problem is that PTB not good for real testing. Even if you keep your BP for it, you will have ~1M BP at mirroring. And then you can spend it on the killer or the survivor - or you can split it up. And you will luck, or not to get good perks on it. But you do not need to get the best perks sure... But you cannot TEST it really. And who the hell will farm BP on PTB?
PTB should work like a custom game, where you have all the perks, you have any items/addons/offerings. So you can really TEST out the killer, and all the character's new perks with other perks so you can deicide which is usefull, which could be too strong.
So yes, as it is told one problem is that there is not good feedback, because both side will reeeeeeee about everything, and most of the time it is just cause they are unexperienced. But the other problem is that you cannot really test things out in time

Begin with S or K and then a line between them to make it easier to read, thank you.
S
They complain about camping and tunneling.
Not only entitled survivors complain about camping and tunneling, and many cases they are right.
I hate it in them when they swarming the hook, and then complain that you "camped" and/or slugged and such. Or when you hook somebody, and you cannot get to the corner, and they unhook already and again - cry about that you camp.
