You obviously weren’t here back before the gen speed changes, old BNP and old prove Thyself.
I have been coming and going for a long time....and considering one of the mods just threaten to ban me for calling someone an idiot, I think I'll be gone again for some time. Back to Apex for the foreseeable
-
Also, get rid of prove thyself, If it took 2 mins to do a gen, that perk would still be broken

I don't think reports do anything, I have to deal with stuff like this almost every game. I report the people that do stuff like this and what? I just have to trust that someone will actually take action on that report?
Nah, man, The killer was being far better than the survivors. Sure, the killer wasn't being nice and maybe their gameplay may have been toxic, but there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior in the post-game chat. This should be the easiest ban on the board for any kind of online game.

When I look at the average number of kills for Legion, it's right in the middle. They're not the best, they're not the worst. This is across all maps, all ranks. That's as much detail as I can go into on this.
If thats you metric, its poor. I suggest looking at which killers get picked more and how long their average trail looks like. Then look at and consist outlier and try to uncover what is happening and how it is happening. Also, you got to ask yerselves is this really so bad/good and how are the fans reacting.
This should be reviewed weekly for any notable changes and more testing should be done to see how prototype balance changes will operate, as wellas be received by the community.

Anyone that doesn't see that this killer is insanely overpowered is biased as hell. Nerfs are needed.
I mean, swiping generalizations never convinced the minds of anyone who really mattered. Nerfs are not needed here. Through skill of foresight and patching, it's super 3asy to avoid PHs attacks and torment. Just be mindful of where he was prior to chasing you

This, I must check out! Its probably caused by the change made to Clown where is movement speed is no longer impacted by him charging his bottles

I wouldn't mind but it will probably be irritating to hear.
That's truth, but they could just play it when the killer is near and not in a chase and then switch it to something more intense (and less irritating) for any chase sequence

I love this post :)

Disagree my friend. I do and I don't even slug the injured guy. Just go around and get the unhooker. But I also don't care about rank anymore and have switched to majority of survivor.
I myself despise tunneling off the hook. I think it is as low skill a tactic as a killer can get.
But that said it is part of the game and deserves no punishment. But if you are a tunneling killer you lose your right to complain about ds, gen rush, and looping. You are kinda asking for it. Imo.
Tbh, you are just shame-stamping killers who go for the tactically wiser option. Your opinion is only reinforcing the incorrect stance that survivour need more counters to tunnelling. Which they clearly dont thanks to the perks you just listed.

I think everyone here has accepted that the Devs of DBD are just simply incompetent at their jobs, they have a loose and inconsistent definition of balance that seems to change with the wind ("the wind" being whatever the survivor player base seem to be crying about this time)
But it is to be expected. For most of them, this would be their first some-what big game project so of course they are going to make mistakes. We all do when we are learning. What annoys me is their refusal to improve upon these mistakes and learn from them so they dont happen again.
For example, look at balancing. They seem to think that when balancing their game, its all about the killers and survivors. The 2 points of the game that a player can control, they change and tinker these roles to balance, when they should be looking at the overall environment and gameplay aspects of the game ie can be add something other than the windows, pallets or totems. They cant setup the servers to work correctly and have made several failed attempts over the past 9 months to get it working with the only visible output being a malfunctioning matchmaking system.

I don’t think it’s the maps that are problems. It’s the mobility of most killers.
Notice how Nurse, Billy, Spirit and even Freddy can do well on these maps at protecting gens. When, let’s say Clown, can down survivors relatively fast, yet cannot apply gen pressure across these maps.
Its a common misconception to look at the maps and blame their size for a killer’s disadvantage, when in fact it’s the killers mobility that is limiting their potential.
I agree with this entirely! For me, it highlights an often overlooked RNG factor that impacts everyone. In a lot of cases, matches can be decided from the start if you choose a poorly suited killer for a map.
E.g. I recently played as trapper on rotten fields and got completely stomped. This was primarily down to the fact that I chose to try and set up my traps first and had to spend so much time setting them only for survivors opting to use the corn to conceal there scratchmark's and break chase through it (this can be done on console)

If the Spirit isn't over performing then prove it to us. Play someone like trapper for 100 games and get the same kill rate.
Survivors are the ones who are complaining, the burden of proof is on the to show this is and issue.
And FYI to an survivor mains out there readings this, kill/survive rates mean nothing because ye fudged the numbers with DC's.

wont be surprised if they nerfed yet one more thing survivors have
@harry14141414 I think you need to play as killer for a short while, just to clear your head and give yourself perspective

Im not worried about the ToU, Statutory consumer rights in the EU always override any legal priority that these kind of agreements set out. Its the EULA that I would be more concerned with as the DLC is a digital product which would more than likely protect BHVR.
Regardless, a full financial refund for the whole DLC would not happen, that is why I was initially suggesting an Auric refund for the Killer element of the DLC.
-
Love the Hex perk idea.
Not sure about hiding other elements though. Could be tricky.

Has anyone figured out what the pins do?

I'm at rank 1 for both the killer and the survivor roles but I would consider myself a killer main for the most part. Killer is more fun if not more stressful but if you manage your expectations well and understand that you are not always going to have the chance at the 4k, then it is fine.

Thanks folks

@Dead_by_David yeah going from survivor to killer is hard at first but once you get the basics downs, youll kill atleast 3 survivors a gameYou clearly have not made it to the red ranks as a killer. Getting a 3k is rare and only really happens if the survivours try a last minute rescue once the exit gates are opened

Do you not think there is at least an issue with the number of pallets that spawn into the map? In my experience, it feels like I chew through at least 30 of the damn things and have to spend ages hunting survivors. I'm bearly able to maintain rank 5 so maybe map pressure is just something I haven't mastered yet. My main killer is the clown, if that matters.
-
Pallets... Lack of hooks.... dodgy auto aim... randomly spawning infinite window loops are a new one that I have seen more of lately. There loads more I'm sure, and that's just from the killers POV. I'm sure the has to be a lot of stuff survivors have to put up with as well, like slugging, hitboxs over fences and outside windows. It is moronic quite frankly.Arsoul said:@iTz_KilLaZ_x said:
Who would hate double xp right?? Well I do. The main reason being that the lobby wait time for killer is so ridiculous it’s maddening. I have friends who purposely depipped to rank 15 just to get fast games for the event. I remained at rank 1 because I didn’t feel like depipping but man should I have done it.The devs should just remove the ranking system all together. This isn’t even a competitive game anyways due to balance issues and that’s fine. But it causes major issues for rank 1 killers like myself
What are the balance issues you are referring to?

That's legit tragedic... 😂😂😂@iTz_KilLaZ_x said : I cannot derank if I can’t find
matches... how are you not connecting the dots? Seriously

The 4% ??

I have been having the same problems in Ireland. I checked my internet connection to see if that was the issue but it was fine and the killer lobby times are standard so I though it might have been an issue with number of available survivors.
