We know they’re the bane of your existence. They make games not fun. Would you prefer to not deal with them if it means longer Que times but more chill games with solo Que players?
Some argue removing SWF’s would kill the game. Personally I think the game will be fine and thrive long term. What do you killer mains think? Would you rather take that chance of the game “dying” for more fairer games, if it means you don’t have to deal with the headaches of SWF’s anymore? The four DH’s, DS’, and flashlights with the clickety clicks and teabags? Would it be worth it to role the dice?
They could still play KWF- they just need to find a fifth. Then the 5 of them could take turns playing killer, abiding by the unwritten entitled rules, then see for themselves how unrealistic having fun as a killer is when dealing with a SWF. They’ll see what it was like to be in your shoes. Wouldn’t that be nice?
So the devs plans are to “bring solo Que survivors to the level of SWF’s.” Is that what you guys want? Are you really going to find SWF’s 1.5 in the form of buffed solo Ques fun?
I personally have no problem with SWFs. If I am going to bring a sweaty killer + build, I expect my opponents to sweat too. If anything, they should buff solo queue via voice chat and/or some other way to communicate.

Speaking of issues. I often read various complains about various things, usually driven by ignorance or laziness.
However, I never see anyone complain about Iridescent Hatchet which feels like the most busted add-on in the game. It has always puzzled me.
Yeah, her Iri head is in a similar vain to Legion's Pills+Mural Sketch. Extremely busted, its just that not many people use them ( in my experience) because they are a gamble. If you aren't on your A-game, you will do nothing with your power.

No she is underpowered. pls buff bhvr

Hug tech is not an issue, neither is noed. I agree with the rest, though. A lot of killer mains, including myself, can be entitled.

the "no-hit run" argument is my most "#########" when people dc against my Trickster. "You just eventually get downed by him" - like as opposed to never go doing to a killer chasing you? What game are these ppl playing?
Trickster's power does need a nerf, or a change at the very least. His power is so oppressive in chase theres hardly anything you can do. You can dodge huntress hatchets, pyramid head punishment, deathslinger harpoon, pinhead chains, nurse blinks, etc. He is the only ranged killer (with the exception of plague) who's power you cannot dodge. Plague is less of a problem because she can not down you with vile purge.

I don't know why people think it's going to change anything. The odds are if the blight user is good enough to pull off hug tech for a hit. They're going to ######### on you regardless
Literally. Only thing that removing hug tech does for me is make blight clips much less cool and flashy. I don't completely mind though. I had enough fun with the mechanic already.

The switch to dedicated servers turned the experience on vommy mommy into one ruled by luck and not by skill. I literally hit a Claudette FIVE times with my puke and yet she remained healthy throughout all of that. It's even more devastating when her corrupt purge seemingly passes through its target without even registering.
I rarely even play her anymore despite really loving the killer. I own all perks in the game on her at tier 3 and was getting ready to farm some bp via a cake and BBQ to prepare for the inevitable prestiging but I fear it's not worth the severe bullying I have to endure.
Adiris has no map pressure and her only power gets denied by dedicated servers. What purpose does this killer even serve anymore? She gets genrushed to hell and denied by Dead Hard if she manages to finally injure someone. Only a single hook in that game and relentless ridicule from the survivors. This is what this killer is capable of, it's truly sad.

curves and skybilly are not exploits, hug tech is confirmed to be one. ( even though i thought skybilly was a bug ) @MandyTalk could you please confirm this?
Mandy said hug tech was classified as a bug, not an exploit. An exploit would be the old lag-flicking for both blight and billy. I don't understand the reasoning for supporting curving as a feature but not hug tech, as they both take skill and can be countered. Though curving is definitely harder.

I mean compared to artist or blight, she might as well be bubba. Hell she is easier than twins and i say that as a nurse main
Shes easy if you have the ability to read/predict survivors and mind game. These skills apply to all killers, not just her. So any killer main that has been playing for a while could pick her up and do pretty well. Obviously, there is the skill that is knowing how long your blink will go, and pulling off precise blinks. This, however, is quite easy compared to killers that require a lot of mechanical skill and not as much game sense. Like huntress, blight, and hillbilly. These killers' kits still benefit from good gamesense, just not as much as nurse.

This is incorrect.
But what really is uncounterable is Dead Man's switch and Scourge Hooks of Pain. Especially on Artist. Tinkerer, killer perks are way less counterable.
Dead hard for distance is utilizing a perk like any other exhaustion perk, which is what perks are supposed to. Anti-loop have little to no counterplay and with kill rates as high as they are, as absolutely crazy as it sounds, the subject of nerfing dead hard should warrant drastic killer nerfs to compensate.
Yes, they are uncounterable. But, they have to be earned by doing what you're supposed to do, which is hook survivors.

I was thinking of a "winded" status affect that's a bit different from exhaustion.
You become winded after using DH and you can't drop pallets or vault windows for 5 seconds. You can still dodge important attacks from Legion, Oni, Nurse, and Spirit, or make it past a killer for any reason, but you cant just press E and make it to the god window/vault for free.

Basically confirms we'll get Haddie since she has a brother called Jordan. Once again from the German Twitter page (since English doesn't seem to be posting them):
- Same desk as usual
- Top right is a phone case with either a sticker or a pop grip saying "Ravages of the Abyss" on it.
- In the middle is a note with 2 circled question marks, followed by the note to "Ask Jordan"
- Top left is what seems to be a casette player.
- Bottom left could be a mousepad or takeout menu or script or anyting really.
An abyssal ravager is a follower of a demon prince, granted the fortitude to withstand the inhospitable Abyss and a small fraction of their patron's might.
Idk how this ties in, but i thought it was interesting.

I am not a game dev or anything but would not allowing you to look down when rushing fix it?
It should be fixed promptly since it is now acknowledged as a bug, leaving things like this in the game makes people like me think that's how Blight is supposed to be played.
Banning people may be a bit much though considering streamers show this on stream all day and encourage others to do it. But I do support banning cheaters and exploiters so *shrugs*
not being able to look down would screw over flicking. you could still look up to flick though.
also, what one community manager said does not express the opinion of the entire company, especially the devs.

Some of the best mechanics in games originally started as unintended bugs. I don't know why you're ignoring the contextual aspect of this either. There's a huge difference between a bug that changes how a character plays vs a bug that crashes the game or gets someone stuck in geometry or breaks a perk (either making it useless or too strong), and so on and so forth.
Should this one exist? I'unno.
I'd much rather them nerf his strongest add-ons (speed, iri compound, adrenaline vial, alchemist's ring) than remove something that somehow miraculously lowers his skill floor and raises his skill ceiling at the same time. Hell, they should embrace hug tech and give it an animation of some sort. Or kill two birds with one stone and make it an add-on (though some might consider it a mandatory add-on at that point).
I think adrenaline is fine. The decreased turn rate is already brutal. Its the only blight add-on that i have more than 1000 of, because I hardly use it.

Eh. That's subjective. I never really found it hard or skilful to use properly.
Probably because you're good at blight and understand different tiles. Granted, it is much easier to use against players who have little understanding of blight. Against good survivors - like the ones that make flashcards to study killers weaknesses - it is significantly harder to hit them on a hug tech because they're knowledgeable enough to know what you are doing and how to respond.
-

That's total over reaction tbh. If you think this is going to really hurt him in any meaningful way.
It won't hurt him, just removes a big part of him that was fun to use, and took skill to use correctly.

@[Deleted User] said:
It's good to hear that it will be fixed, it's not like he isn't strong enough already.
With or without hug tech, blight is strong. If you want to nerf him, removing hug tech is not the way to go. It wouldn't make him much worse, it would just lower his skill ceiling and make him less fun to play. Besides the broken add-ons, I think blight is fine. His hug tech and other things can be read and have counter play. Many times the devs have created bugs that have turned into actual features, so I don't understand whats different about blight.

I just really strongly disagree with the notion that a good nurse with good perks- like, a 2000 hour nurse running 4 slowdown perks- should have complete control over a match. There are some REALLY insane nurses out there, but even I was able to reach a ~90% win rate after about 100 hours of learning her. And I just don’t agree with the justification of her power being the difficulty in using it. Imagine the outrage if good loopers were impossible to catch after playing one specific survivor for 200+ hours. If Jake was kinda hard to play, but after they sunk 200 hours they were just invincible. Does anyone else feel the same way? Or am I the only one who thinks that taking a ton of skill- I’m acknowledging the skill aspect- doesn’t justify being a guaranteed win?
Imagine the outrage if good loopers were impossible to catch after playing one specific survivor for 200+ hours. If Jake was kinda hard to play, but after they sunk 200 hours they were just invincible.
That is the thing. No amount of hours should make a survivor invincible against a (relatively) even matched killer. Survivors should not be able to go toe-to-toe with killers and consistently win chases (against the aforementioned even matched killer ). Killers should win the majority of chases. This is because Dead By Daylight is an asymmetrical game. Survivors should not both dominate in the macro game ( Generators / objectives ) and the micro game ( Chases and related things).

So you play two killers who are two of the strongest if not the two strongest killers in the game and both who basically ignore some mechanics in the game. Why are you even commenting here then? No offense but your opinion couldn’t be any less relevant.
I play on Xbox because BHVR doesn’t want to do cross progression to PC. Blight is doodoo on a controller and Nurse isn’t much better. I play killers like Clown, Nemesis, Trapper, Plague. These killers get wrecked by survivor extending chases with DH distance. Not to mention when they get outplayed and can just press a button to erase their mistake. The closest thing a killer has to that is NOED and survivors complain all the time about it.
Even when I do play M1 killers (Wraith, Pig, Clown), I hardly have trouble dealing with those who use dead hard like that. Also if you are adept in using Nemesis and Plague's powers, DH shouldn't "wreck" you. Skull 💀 issue

You want to see a Nurse running a full Exposed build or 4 slowdown Perks
Turning her Blink Attacks into Special Attacks would a buff for Nurse, as she'd have literally no reason to run anything other than 4 slowdowns, unless she wants to troll a bit with Shadowborn, Lightborn, Deerstalker and Coulrophobia
Shadowborn is the best perk in the game! No meme-ry here.

No offense but do you not play killer? A DH used for distance can’t be countered by most killers, and it can extend chases for a very long time. I mean, there’s a reason a majority of survivors at higher MMR run it.
The problem isn’t really “dodging a hit”, it’s “dodging a hit, and using that distance to make it to a new strong tile, and run that, then go to the next tile, etc”.
I play nurse and blight so DH for distance doesn't affect those killers/me as much IMO. I don't play many M1 killers so I don't know what its like. Probably is my ignorance to most of the killer roster, but I don't think DH is as bad as people make it out to be. Maybe just play nurse💪💪

Thats not the issue with dh. The issue is when it's used for distance which is uncounterable vs most killers.
There is a brief period where after the Dead Hard animation is finished where the survivor is slowed down and has to go through the running animation to get back to full speed. And the distance you get from Dead Hard is only really useful if the killer is quite close behind you, which at that point is basically dodging a hit because they are in your lunge range.
