I only take issue when these kinds of things are ham-fisted into media, if Behavior didn't make a giant announcement about David's sexuality and just kinda put it in there for people to find out I wouldn't mind, gay people exist, no need to praise to discourage them.
Heterosexuality and cisgender-ness is already 'ham-fisted' into just about everything. Why is it different with gay people?

I might be mistaken, but last I heard that $250 usd device only allows PlayStations to play this game with a M&K, not Xbox's like mine.
it works on xbox too. Played a lotta r6 on console, and ran into my fair share of MnKers there.

sensivity settings aint the same as having an app on PC that lets you change your dpi to force a mechanic for free
you can oni flick without changing your dpi. The issue lies with the mechanic imbalance between a mouse and a joystick.

it is when you do it at astronomical levels and change it instantly with a hotkey in your keyboard running a script that makes it last the duration of the swing, you cant do this in console
What is 'astronomical levels? You can also do it on console. Buy a XIM lol.

I am complaining about a killer running a third-party app for unfair advantage (aka cheating), yes
Changing your DPI isn't cheating.

I'm a tired most PC onis I find are all comp sweaty players with this ridiculous DPI changer hotkey which allows them to briefly change their DPI astronomically high to make turns that shouldn't actually be possible without this tool, making it blatant cheating.
Here's an example of the lattest I versed so you see what I meant, me and my friend were unable to do anything unless he did something dumb, even our dead hards were useless and he can use this tool to bypass it, dude had also the audacity to make fun of us in post game chat and told us to sub to his cringe youtube channel with compilations showing how he does this cheat.
And if you don't see it clear or doubt still, just watch the first 10 seconds of his video, where he aims at the shack door but faster than letting you blink your eyes he turns in 180 to the window and get the down anyways. This method works to get a hit anyways even if you miss because he can still turn to you spinning like sonic.
I think both flicks take skill. And they both have counterplay. I'm not gonna be one of - those - blight players and defend j-flicks to the grave. But Oni flicks are fair.

Huh. I find Huntress way scarier, and often a better camper. She's also a million times easier to play, due to her hatchets having a much more generous hitbox and you can chew through healthstates.
Trickster is devastating in open fields or long corridors, and that's about it.
I can not believe that you think trickster is harder than huntress.

Three times out of the few matches played today I have actually lost due to one perk.
A reminder that NOED is a perk that rewards failure. The survivors did well completing the objective against impossible and unbearable odds only for someone to lose because the game gives the killer a petty kill.
I wouldn't mind this perk if two conditions were true;
1) The survivor objective was much easier to complete.
2) Survivor had a similar perk.
It's not a good feeling to lose when the opponent played poorly but got rewarded for it. When the state of the game incredibly favors the killer, NOED needs a change now.
Sluzzy is a straight villain on these forums i swear. Not even a good villain, more like a disney villain because you can't relate to them.

Breaking LOS is still hard AF.
Her second blink is so forgiving so she'll use her first blink to estimate your location and that second blink to secure the hit.

Those are good but an experienced nurse will undoubtedly land a hit after a few seconds. Her second blink really grinds my gears.
A hard to play killer that - according to you - is also hard to counter. Seems pretty even.

Yes!! I have been playing since Build 19. Currently Build 41.77. It is absolutely worth it. I have sunk in a little over a thousand hours into that game. The amount of replay-ability it has is amazing. The attention to detail is astounding. Things like having a chance to trip over a fence while vaulting, and having encumbered movement in forested areas. That is just the tip of the iceberg. The amount of character customization you have is so immersive. You can choose your profession, and choose your characters strengths and weaknesses. The way you choose what strengths your character has is through a point system. You start by default with 8 points to spend. Some "perks" like Light Eater, significantly reduce the amount of food you need to eat to live. This is also very expensive piunt-wise. Other perks, like Night owl, increases your perception at night, and reduces the amount of sleep you need. If you overspend on perks, your point amount will go into the negatives. This is when you have to choose your characters weaknesses. Instead of costing points, weaknesses give you points to spend. Smaller weaknesses - Sunday Driver for example - decreases your max speed while driving cars, and only gives you a bonus of 2 points to spend. More severe weaknesses, like agoraphobia (fear of the outside) or even being straight up deaf, rewards you with 6 and 12 points to spend, respectively. With mods (and there are a lot of them, easily accessible too) you can add things like paranoid schizophrenia ( can make your character hallucinate zombies and their sounds, which can be really scary at times ), ADHD ( causes you to become panicked if not moving much), and even blindness! If all this customization sounds like a lot - which it is - the game gives you preset options 'loadouts' of occupations, weaknesses, and strengths that you can choose. You can also save your own presets.
I could honestly talk about this game for hours.
Despite being early access, its solo mode is completely playable and I have not experienced any game breaking bugs. The only exception to this was a duplication glitch which was patched in build 35 I believe. There is multiplayer too, with voice chat! You can even invite your friends to your party to join the same server together. The community overall is very sweet and I have never had a bad experience with it.
One tip I can give you? Don't expect to live. You can't 'win' at Project Zomboid, your only goal is to live as long as possible. If you do end up getting bit by a zombie early on, don't just quit and start a new game. The infection takes a few ingame days to fully complete. So go out with a bang! Rig a pipe bomb to a building, lure a buncha zombies to it, and make it rain!
From the bottom of my heart, this game and its developers deserve every little bit of that 20 dollars.

Hug tech is fun too, but fun is subjective. And BHVR isn't one for fun. Atleast for killer players.

Tell me how to counter this killer that 99.99% brings double range, double recharge, or a mix of both who is also very well capable of bringing any of the meta perks and gets insane value out of them.
Let me predict the answers:
- Break LOS
- Run back at her
- Use Dead Hard
Yeah, these aren't effective. With her having that second blink, you're bound to get hit unless you have dead hard. Oh but guess what, even if you make her whiff whether if you have DH or not, she's right behind you. What do you want me to do? I don't even blame the survivors in my lobby who kill themselves on hook. I'm done with her.
2 other things :
Understand how long she has to charge her blink for her to reach you from her current position
Hug walls, objects, anything with a hitbox incredibly tightly. I can not tell you the amount of times I have missed a hit on a survivor because it seems like my saw has locked onto the wall rather than the survivor.

Comp playstyle.
Only one person in the match.
Yeah, that's an L example. Try something realistic next time?
stretch res doesn't help you see around corners. it only helps with performance. and lets you see a little more over short wall loops, and you can already see over the same walls without stretch. what do you mean comp playstyle? had no idea looping was a comp thing.

https://youtu.be/kyv-weEPyDQThis is the winner of Blight 1v1 tournament (hosted by pepsmd) The blight in this video is named pepsmd. pepsmd is a top 5 NA Blight main. This survivor is able to run this amazing blight player for over 3 minutes. Obviously this is a 1v1, so saving pallets and preventing deadzones is not a factor.
Here is another example of how good survivors can run good blights :
https://youtu.be/fqPymLF0RLsThis tournament was hosted by Kav_DBD, another really good blight player.
You wanna know the first step to being able to counter hug tech/ blight?
Play blight yourself. By doing this, it helps show his limits and what he can/can not do when you are experiencing it first-hand.

It is confirmed to be a Bug. It will be fixed. So why even argue?
I just don't understand BHVR's thought process when it comes to making some bugs actual features, and removing others. "Thought process" is the incorrect term, I mean how does BHVR decide which bugs to keep and which bugs to remove?

It's really not though
unless youre at shack or a long wall loop, youre probably dead. and yeah youre not supposed to be able to always win chases, his power is just really oppressive. in a way that is different than the other ranged killers. every other killer - excluding plague - has projectiles that are single shot, but instantly deal a health state. those single shot projectiles are actually dodge-able, and have a cooldown after using

"Making immersing less affective" makes no sense. Our FOV in real life is around 120 degrees. You can check this by putting your arms straight out to the side and you'll be able to see them while looking straight forward.

@dezzmont said:
Pig shouldn't scream as part of her ambush attack.
Trickster's knives shouldn't have recoil, and the bloom should be toned down, and his ult shouldn't have a timing window. That or he should be base movespeed with a bit less ammo with knives requiring some survivor commitment to heal, one of the two.
Myers overall needs a rework. It is nice that his gimmick is different than Ghost's in that he is a stalker killer who gets long term value rather than short, but in my opinion he should just be innately base movement speed and unlock benefits (reduced TR, faster speed in chase, and eventually instadown) on the survivors he stalks independently, rather than the current status quo where one survivor who has had almost no interaction with him is punished when another tries to closely loop him while crouching behind objects rather than getting distance to nuke his stalk rate.
Clown should have (slow) passive bottle regen so if you are in an extended series of interactions you will get another bottle or two back, to further cement the fact he is meant to be an 'uptime' ranged character.
Port rage over from VHS (Basically if the killer lands X amount of hits without anyone going down, next hit is an instadown) so that killer is actually rewarded for pressuring SWFs who refuse to ever commit to an objective unless your actively in a chase.
tricksters power is incredibly strong. buffing it at all could make him broken. His showstopper is on a cooldown because being able to activate a full auto laser beam is wayyyy to strong

@AnchorTea said:
So yeah its basically 100% likely that Dead Hard will be nerfed in the upcoming months. One big challenge with this perk though is that nerfing it without making it obsolete is difficult.
If you remove the invulnerability, the distance can still extend chases (reaching to a god pallet or jungle gym window). Now if you nerf the distance it would have to be just long enough to matter but short enough to not be OP. That may be easier said than done if you look at the math.
How would you nerf Dead Hard? There could be so many creative ways of implementing this.
Rework it. Make it something relating to his personality. Maybe rugby?
My idea is for it to make him more nimble. Things like changing directions quickly, and maybe faster vaulting.
I think it makes sense because in rugby you are weaving through the other team a lot.
No clue if it should remain activate-able, or activate when doing the action related to the perk, like Quick n' Quiet.

His speed addons are not an issue at all. If you actually know how to play against his power it isn't an issue.
being able to move at 13m/s and being able to 180 flick and stuff is pretty strong. its not just a little advantage. on several tiles (especially shack, 4 wall, TL Jungle Gym). And unlike billy's engravings - which is the equivalent to blights blighted animal add-ons - they have no downside.

And there you go entertain high mmr bully squads running every loop perfectly and every hook was a challenge with the sabo perk and flashlight saves..
It's just unfair to play against 4 good players with flashlights and voice communication ? especially while playing a weak killer I got gen rushed and ended up with 1 kill though all the clicks and tbags.
As a soloQ player it's unfair how much advantage a SWF gets over you while my most survivor games are DC's and survivors suiciding on hook and no one works on gens or saves you or anything. While I play killer it's always the high mmr sabo bully squads game over game.. At this point I'm having a Stockholm syndrome with DBD lol.
Please BHVR the game is not balanced or fair because of SWF at least make it teams of 2 friends max ..
No clue why survivors can change their character and item, but killers cant change their killer. Limiting swf to 2 does nothing.

First of all, Blight has a great basekit mixed with likely the best set of addons in the game. Seriously everything from yellow to iridescent is high end.
My issue with the Blighted Rat and Blighted Crow addons is [I believe] they not only massively increase movement speed, but his lunge attack coming out of the rush, too. The faster ‘rush’ lunge is what makes these addons so difficult to play around.
Without these, his rush lunge feels considerably slower and in a way feels like it could be juked.
So my suggestion is for BHVR to review his lunge coding.
I had no idea his lunge was faster with the add-ons. Do you know if the extra lunge speed lets him flick further?

I like speed add-ons, my suggestion was based around how billy's engravings work. Obviously Blight doesn't have to charge his rush up like billy does.

Agreed, hopefully they look at making 90, or even 95-100 FOV basekit with the perk reworks. Shadowborn could do something completely new, and Monitor could gain a secondary effect.

QOL CHANGE
is changing her awful hatchet hitboxes , and giving her like 115% basekit if she had no hatchets left.
currently iri head is still strong but not broken as it used to be , and the 115% movement iri addon is Ok not insanely good but not bad either.
The diameter of her hitboxes is the length of the hatchet. This is done because the survivor hitbox is still upright whether or not they are injured. Why? To make hits more fair (in practice). Ping and latency can make her hitboxes abhorrent.
