No one forces you.
Unlike killers that are forced to take 2 perks to even have the slightest chance against gen rushers.
You want survivors to "adapt" but refuse to believe that maybe there needs to be a change in your game if you are required to take 2 perks in order to stand a chance? Odd.
-
If we pretend that every survivor is in a 4 man then yes, your points are valid.
-
I honestly think the hatch should just be removed. It's a really dumb mechanic imo.
-
I play more killer than survivor but in my experience I see DS/UB much more frequently playing killer than I do ruin/undying playing survivor. With that said, I understand your frustration as I feel like ruin/undying completely breaks the game. I actually like undying and think it is a good perk when used with stuff like haunted or 3rd seal. But paired with ruin it is basically just easy mode for killers.
-
The only killer that was not allowed in the BOTB was blight due to him just being released a couple days prior to the tournament starting. Trickstershadow actually wanted to play slinger in a round for Shift W gamers but his team wouldn't let him lol.
-
You should turn on the news and see the goofy ######### adults are doing every day. It's a little foolish to think there are not plenty of them with too much time on their hands.
-
So are you trying to say behavior sympathizes with racists and homophobes? Or are you just upset because you don't have the self satisfaction of seeing your report cause someone to face consequences? Or are you upset because you truly feel that if this person was banned that they would self reflect on their life decisions and all the sudden not be a racist pos? I'm trying to understand the point of giving idiot trolls the attention they are after.
-
If you watch all the good killer streamers, even scott who has a video on these twins, you will see that a lot of times slugging is almost necessary unless you don't mind getting dumped on. The problem is the balance of the game that requires this tactic a lot of times. The twins are just better at it than most.
-
My god people it's an experiment to see what happens. You know why it's needed? Because nobody knows how it will play out, not even the devs. So why don't we give it a chance before we start kicking our dogs out of frustration? If it doesn't work out for you, go outside and get some sunshine or play a different game this weekend. I've really been enjoying another play through of sekiro, highly recommend it. It will be back to normal on Monday. Not the end of the world.

I don't think people realize how often they get bloodlust. If you're not playing nurse, spirit, or hag or something, you get bloodlust a LOT, and many times it's the difference between a down or not. Don't be so elitist thinking that anyone who gets bloodlust is a noob that relies on it. Also if you think killers in general are stronger than survivors, you're playing at a low level.
I said this yesterday. All these people wanting everyone to believe that they down every survivor in 15 seconds is laughable.
-
Yeah, the community that argues daily about the age of a dead, demonic, make believe video game character is going to come together this weekend to pull off an organized conspiracy. Right.

No it’s very relevant
how so? I don't think many people here understand what happens to a brain when it is dead for a while then is brought back by something other worldly. Does it just pick up where it left off? Is it just mush and the brain is whatever the evil force wants it to be?
-
If he died and was brought back by some evil force....isn't his brain age irrelevant?
-
You're missing a lot.
-
Do all the people saying "if you're getting blood lust your chases are too long" really expect us all to believe they are downing every survivor under 15 seconds?
-
Wonder how the 2 people that run beast of pray are going to react to this?
-
I'm so confused

Since cross play has happened I swear all players that have camped and tunnel are pc players and I’m a Xbox player so it’s super difficult to 360 and all that and it’s getting super annoying that I can’t disable cross platform so I can get rid of this issue
I’m not calling pc players bad it’s just do you seriously need to ruin a fun game for everyone by camping and tunnelling?
Why can't you disable cross play?
-
If you are the only one to do gens it should take you roughly 7 minutes to do them and leave. That is assuming not another person touches one. Or you can DC and wait 5 minutes. The choice is yours.
-
30 seconds is a long time in DBD land. You can't really expect the killer to wait for you to find a hiding spot before they start looking around right? Just seems like you have had a couple games of bad luck. Not really sure this is something to call crap or rant about.

So does running this build cause ones pp to shrink?
-
I must be a weirdo. I've played this game for 3 years and never read a word of the lore and some of yall not only read it but are also wondering who these characters be banging lol.
-
fingers crossed he is just being fazed out.
-
I can't ever tell if people are actually being serious about this or not. So i'm just gonna lol.
-
People that play spirit on the PTB should be banned.

Holy ######### people be crazy LMAO!!

Franklins is a ######### perk, if a killers uses franklins I will take it as an indicator of how they intend to play the game and get out asap, I don't want to play with players like you

Not complaining about the combo but the amount of rng in this game is absolutely rediculous.
I play solo. I cleanse totems. Had a game where the killer was able to keep pushing people off gens on azarovs. I cleansed 4 glowing totems and never got ruin. I never saw a dull totem to cleanse. It was frustrating but i blame my team not those perks.
As far as ops question, haddonfield is the most bs thing added to this game. Followed by rng keys in chests.
I play solo survivor as well and ruin/undying is 100% destroying the experience. I imagine if you play in a swf you can deal with it better but for solo's it's ridiculous.

If I see another person complain about "UnDyInG + rUiN"
I'm going to slap a #########.
Because it's not broken, Undying and Ruin was made to go hand and hand, Undying is a defense perk for ruin and other hex perks. That's it's entire point. There's still a 50/50 chance Undying can be taken out first, so stop complaining about Undying and Ruin.
Guess you need to get your slapping hand ready because undying/ruin is extremely broken.
-
I've played against EdgarAllenBro twice and faced space coconuts hag once.
-
solo. I don't like people.
-
And I hate it when people can't understand that boring is subjective. What you find boring may not be boring for others. Maybe it has more to do with that rather than people just not understanding what boring is?
-
I can only answer as to why I don't play him anymore and that is because he just feels so clunky and jerky. That coupled with that stupid roar he does and I just have no interest in using him anymore.
-
There is a bleed out when you are in dying state. If you are saying it takes too long here is a tip....stay where you were downed. The amount of people that are slugged and crawl to some crevice in order to not be found only to complain in post game chat that im an ######### for letting them bleed out is astounding.
-
The combo of ruin/undying is extremely unhealthy for this game. Anyone who says just do bones is completely missing the point of how these change the entire game...even if every person focuses on totems.
Just like all the posts you see on here about OoO and how just about everyone complaining about it admits that the problem is not the perk itself but more the perk combined with SWF. The same is true for undying. It is not a problem itself but combined with ruin it's completely broken.
-
The DC penalties are great. Far less DCs now in my games. The rest of us should not be forced to put up with rampant DCs because you have bad internet.
-
I'm not a fan of it for killer. It pisses me off when i load in as hag and want to place a trap but end up zooming into a wall. Same with trapper.
-
Also, it would be nice if plague was not 77 feet tall. If you don't have corrupt purge she is horrible in chases because is like the jolly green giant out there lumbering around.
-
Due to the fact that it's very bad for the killer, shroud of separation should not be a killer offering imo.

Well it´s about Object here, but to address your point: Nurses do get rekt in tournaments, it´s far from an auto-win. I understand though that a tourney level Nurse versing 4 solos is just as unfair as facing a good SWF with Object as Trapper.
If you´re unhappy about that, give feedback. Maybe you´re more lucky or elaborate than me and you´ll get listened to, GL, and I mean it. I think DBD would be in a better place if all the crazy broken stuff would get addressed faster than 1 good thing and 3 pig nerfs every 2 years.
This is kinda an unpopular opinion, but I´ve changed my stance on DS+UB a bit. It´s crazy strong for sure, but well, over the years playing Killer I picked up the habit to always play around these automatically anyway. I very rarely get hit by DS, for example.
Appreciate the civil discussion. Good points sir. Thank you.

It´s for several reasons. First, to use Objects full potential you have to be in a team of at least 3. With a duo it´s very strong, but to abuse it to it´s full extend that´s not enough.
Second, it requires good skills and coordination to do so, feats the vast majority of the playerbase do not possess. Hence the high death rate, most potatos that try bullying the Killer get themselves killed in the process.
Third, yes, I think many people refrain from using it because they realise how overpowered and unfun it actually is. Given they are experienced players, though.
Okay, I understand your points. But not to get on a what about thing here...but, what about nurse? If you watch tournaments or even play the game a lot you tend to come across a good nurse. I don't mean just a good nurse but a freaking good nurse. There isn't much you can do. Almost every tournament is nurse with hex: retribution, hex: ruin, hex: haunted ground, hex: noed. It's a blood bath. Yet this seems to be universally accepted because nurse requires a great deal of skill to be really, really good at her. The majority of nurses you face are just not that good. Is it the same for object? Can a survivor not have something that if they are really good it benefits them greatly?
Also, I agree with most of what you said except people not using it because it's unfun and overpowered. If that is the way survivors thought we wouldn't be facing teams full of DS UB every single match.

Small number? I see it about every other game at rank 1, sometimes multiple in 1 game. It's used more now than ever.
every other game? wow, i've been rank 1 for years and if i see it once every other week that is a lot.

Just because it's not commonly used doesn't mean it's not incredibly powerful. Having constant info on the killer's location is incredibly powerful with a team. It's also rarely used by solo players, which likely influences the stats. Try getting a 4k against a coordinated team that constantly knows your location and THEN tell me it's "in a good spot".
Can you explain why? If it is so incredibly powerful, do most survivors just not use it out of the kindness of their hearts?
-
Yes, please focus your attention on a perk that is barely ever used. And screw your stats. This perk is insanely OP. Please ignore how odd it is that the perk is so strong and broken but yet such a small number of people use it.
Also, great job with undying. Ruin/undying has made the game healthy again.
-
I use it in solo all the time. One of two things will happen, you will be ignored, or you will be chased until dead or escaped. The best thing about using it solo is if the killer tunnels you the entire game and you still escape and post game chat they are wah wah wah swf wah wah.
-
In my opinion I think there is a skill difference. First you have the obvious performance issues with console and limited to controller input which puts them at a disadvantage. No, that is not a skill difference. But in my opinion or assumption I guess is that console players are more casual players and PC gamers are much more of an actual gamer.
This is based purely on my perception with no evidence to back anything up and I am potentially dead wrong. But I perceive people with a console to be the people that pick up a game from time to time and play when they have time. People with gaming PCs I just assume sit in their basement playing fps all day and are die hard gamers. Which, would lead to having better hand eye coordination and more skill.

I think it just depends on the survivor and how they want to use it. I've played against OoO swfs and as trapper and barely noticed a difference.
The majority of people who run it too arent great at looping from my experience.
That being said it can be extremely broken, especially on certain maps and against freddy in the dreamworld.
This is one thing I will agree with. Against freddy in dream world it's pretty broken.

But a SWF already has information on where the killer is for most of the match even without OoO. What are the odds that 1) No one sees the killer (including with other perks, like Alert or Spine Chill), 2) No one hears the killer, and 3) The killer is not a stealth killer (because OoO is terrible against stealth killers regardless)? Pretty low, right? And in those situations, is that information really likely to be helpful enough for the perk to be considered broken? You can imagine this being strong against certain killers that are stealthy but not undetectable, like Deathslinger, but revealing your location to a killer like Deathslinger is pretty much asking to be tunneled out of the match because of his insane 1v1... I digress.
very good points.
-
I honestly don't feel it's an issue. If it was as OP as people want you to believe then every survivor would run it. I have been playing for 3 years and main killer and i'm being generous with stating I may see object once every couple of weeks. Every survivor runs DS but OoO is the strong perk and is a problem? I don't buy it.
