Just calling something a fact does not make it a fact. That's not how it works.
-
Steves scream is annoying. Davids gorilla grunts are annoying. and yun...I don't even know what to say about her guttural noises.
-
I think the entire pip system is weird. I can get 12k points and pip and I can get 20k points and not pip. I can kill every survivor and not pip, I can kill one survivor and pip. Its weird.

you do know that video was a joke?
besides, the only rule for those was that the survivor not bring iron will (because if they did then Scott would just bring stridor)...
I know it was a joke and I don't believe iron will was the deciding factor but more so lucky break.

oh you mean by using iron will ? as stated you dont use iron will since it can be countered by stridor
No by using lucky break. And I will admit I have not watched a lot of dbd tournaments but the ones I have watched the only killer that looked like you couldn't counter was nurse. Spirit in those tournaments looked very pedestrian.
-
Hands down freddy. Ruin/undying or pop and bbq on freddy is GGEZ

please prove it by accepting scottjund challenge.
You mean like zubat did? Scott just quit 30 seconds into that video lol
-
Fixated, lucky break, iron will. Good build against most any killer but it is gg ez against spirit.
-
Being slugged just to be slugged is crap. I think everyone can agree with you on that. There is also times where it is necessary for the killer to leave someone on the ground and immediately start another chase. Changing the timer to 1 minute would require a lot of other changes that I don't think are easy or even possible to do because this happens occasionally.
A concede option for survivors IF all 4 are slugged I believe is a good idea. Allowing a single survivor to give up if they are slugged is not a good idea imo.
-
This forum gets me every time. Starts out with discussion. Someone like the poster above me comes in and makes a completely baseless and useless statement and the rest of the thread is people just going back and forth with them lol.
With that said You obviously do play trickster very well. But the survivors in these videos were all pretty oblivious. This is my problem with trickster. I will admit I do not play him nearly as well as you do but there are some killers I can play and know I have a chance no matter who I am facing. Trickster is one that I have to face a very chill team to stand a chance. I also feel like he relies so heavily on gen slowdowns. I hate running much more than corrupt or possibly surge anymore and i feel it helped me improve. I can't do that with trickster. I need to rely on ruin being up for the majority of the game and or the survivors to be potatoes.
With all that being said, you definitely play him well. Thanks for the videos.
-
It is a crap map for sure. But it is only the worst map depending on what you're playing. When i'm playing most killers I can't think of a worst map than haddonfield or possibly the game. When i'm playing survivor then yes dead woods is one of the worst.
-
Because the creator of the character was a pedophile so nobody wants to add the character to the game. Now, if someone wants to create a character that is a pedophile that is cool and can be added.
-
I don't know. I feel like surge is fine with a cooldown but it should also activate with m2 and not just m1. Then there are perks that absolutely need a cooldown like tinkerer.
-
Reading this forum makes me feel like I should play the lottery. 4k hours in this game and I can honestly say this has happened to me zero times. Yet others have it happen so much they have to make posts about it. I can't get over how lucky I am.
-
I don't know. I would say solo survivor is about as irritating as killer is.
-
No clue. But 3 people playing twins is too many. Hopefully another nerf will bring it down to zero
-
Reading your forum posts and I actually caught some of your stream the other day has me extremely curious.....why in the hell do you play this game? It does not seem like you are enjoying yourself at all. Unless you enjoy making yourself miserable?
-
I run corrupt and surge on slinger. He is slow and has horrible map pressure. But he is extremely oppressive in chase which is why everyone hates him. The biggest thing with slinger...don't miss your shots. If you don't miss, and you have good game sense you will be downing survivors too quickly for them to get gens done.
-
There are really two options. You stack a bunch of gen slowdown together and make the game last forever and be boring for all involved or you down people quicker. You have to give the survivors something else to do besides generators. They cannot do gens and hook save, heal, pick someone up off the ground, get chased all at the same time.
-
Lets talk about the real issue. I see many more clowns than I do Billy's. Sadge
-
I just hope the killer perks are some type of gen slow down that will synergize with ruin/undying so games can possibly last for 45 minutes instead of 30.
-
I hate the map offerings honestly. But I don't understand a lot of people that play this game. Some survivors have fun playing on hadonfield and new gideon I guess. Just like some killers have fun playing a 30 minute game with ruin/undying/tinkerer/bbq freddy or whatever. I guess what floats your boat.
-
Yeah, I maybe go against 1 billy a month anymore. I don't even remember the last time I saw one and it makes me sad.
-
I honestly have no idea why more people are not using it. it is insanely strong.
-
It will certainly change the meta. Especially with swf. unless you are braindead or get caught in the absolute worst possible location it all but guarantees you to lose the killer first chase. 4 people running this and it's gg.
-
I like every change except lucky break. I actually came here this morning hoping to read that maybe they decided against it.
-
Look at the roster of DBD killers. Then look at trickster. I feel like if you really think about it you will be able to understand why some people are like...######### is this?
-
I mean, maybe give it more than an hour? How many games have you possibly tried for adept since the update...3?
-
I think you're being a little biased. The OoO change is very big. The nerf to rat liver for demo makes absolutely no sense to me but it's not that big of a deal. The only reason rat liver was considered so good for him was purely because all of his other addons were complete ass. I would not consider BT a buff. Just a change that keeps a select few killers from being able to circumvent the previous mechanic.
Everyone is all caught up on the insignificant changes made to demos addons and freddy which won't amount to anything and seem to be completely ignoring the busted change to lucky break.
-
I don't know. I think this is one of the better patches they have ever done. With the exception of the insanely broken lucky break change which I don't see any way it makes it to live I think this patch is great. I'm pretty hyped about it.
-
The only thing i've noticed is that people with ttv in their name are more annoying when they get wrecked that you must have stream sniped them than killers are when they get wrecked and you must be swf.
-
Just wait for the new lucky break when you hit a survivor and they break line of site and you can't hear them at all and lose them. Times that by 4 because all survivors are running it and all gens are done before you get a hook.

They don't turn invisible. You can still see and hear them. Even if they have Iron Will you'll hear them repairing or healing.
The killers this affects the most are tunnelers.
Perhaps I am misinterpreting this then. I was thinking this activates when you become injured. For example if i'm running a T L wall and I get hit, I vault the wall and i'm gone. Killer has no clue which way I went. So he goes to find someone else, hits them and same thing happens. Is there a requirement that you have to be hooked for it to activate?
-
because 90 seconds is an eternity to be basically undetectable in the game. Especially early game.
-
If your team is getting slugged at 5 gens I would quit blaming the killer and focus on finding new friends.
-
I don't think this change goes live. It was way too strong the way they have it planned for the ptb
-
I don't know. Only thing I can think is they are just hoping to make them bad enough that nobody plays them. They are so extremely not fun to play against.
-

Are you happy or sad, angry or mixes on them? What are your thoughts?
I like them for the most part. Want to see more of the cold wind maps. I am holding out hope they have realized how dumb breakable walls are. Only thing I don't like is the lucky break change. Completely OP the way they are planning it for the PTB.
-
As someone who plays mostly killer I like most of these changes. Lucky break seems OP as ######### though.

"Now asking, that killers need to chase survivors off the gens is a insult to every killer who used Undying Ruin."
Oh, wow, the Killer has to apply pressure. Sorry that Killers have to do something to get their Kills.
I didn't want to tell them that literally nobody is worried as to whether or not they insult old ruin/undying users lol.
-
After playing 3 years I finally encountered my first one last week. Loaded into the match and a gen popped immediately. Then, i kept seeing the grass move around me and a firecracker appear on the ground. Every time the killer would down someone, boom, firecracker save from this invisible teammate.
-
The problem with hag is playing her as efficiently as possible is very boring for survivors. Hag is slow. You don't want to be all over the map with her chasing people. You want to set up an area with a couple gens. When you down a survivor you either get them to your area to hook them or you set up your area where you can hook them and it's almost gg at that point. Other survivors have to come into your web to unhook. If you place a trap by the hook (which you should) the survivors are either going to set it off during the unhook, or they will be crouching, giving you much more time to return to the hook to find 2 survivors.
-
The sad thing is, against most killers, the only incentive to worry about ruin/undying is if you want points. Seems the better play if you want to survive is sit on gens. The only thing that is going to make the majority worry about bones is if noed were to become base kit.

Lol i just got a game 2 minutes and i lost two perks gg! But it’s OP
Sure, but you'll keep running it because it puts you at such a disadvantage only have 2 perks right?
-
I have noticed that people with ttv in their name tend to complain a lot. I hate playing with them killer or survivor. If you kill them they think you must have stream sniped and if you're survivor with them they are always the best and everyone else sucks. I just dodge lobbies with them in it anymore.
-

Little advice: Tap a gen and if there's ruin go find and cleance all the totems until it's go and then start to do gens. If 4 survivors do this ruin is gone in 2 minutes and you can play vs killer with 2 perks
This is exactly why ruin/undying is broken. Any killer that is not complete potato that gets 2 minutes of no gen progress is gg ez.

If you use the addon that lets everyone see what the map user sees. Then everyone will see totem locations. I've run that addon before, and most of the time the other survivors are on the totems when I get there.
That is while I'm solo.
This is not a reasonable thing to ask of solo people. Am I to bring the map with that add on or am I to assume someone else is going to? Also, lets assume I do bring it every single match. Lets also assume that every one of my teammates is paying attention and gets on a totem when I light them up. It still is not addressing the fact that how long are we going now with no gen progress being performed?
I honestly don't care what people run. I play more killer than I do survivor so ruin/undying does not affect me too much. I just don't agree to all the "adapt" or "it's easily countered" stances as I strongly disagree. I feel the combo is extremely unhealthy for the game. It honestly makes solo que a complete nightmare.

So break the other totems. They have maps, and can also see if they're being cursed by ruin.
There are only two totems left, those are ruin and undying. What's stopping them from breaking those two while the killer is busy with other survivor?
Nothing is stopping them. Again I'm pointing out the absolute best possible case for a 4 man squad against ruin/undying. And in that best possible scenario how long is it now that zero gens have been worked on? Any competent killer is going to wipe the floor with that much time of zero gen progress. And again, solo que does exist and it's an entirely different beast.
-
It isn't really easily countered. Lets pretend solo players don't exist like many who refuse to believe how broken this combo is. If all 4 survivors start out and coordinate to "counter" ruin/undying what is the quickest you think they can get rid of it? Lets say all 4 bring a map. Game starts and they are off to get totems. The killer can see your aura so he picks one totem to go chase the person off. Other survivor breaks that totem and the other 2 have also broken some dulls. Cleansed totem is ruin and it respawns on another dull. Meanwhile first survivor is hooked and killer is heading for the next.
Basically my point is even in a coordinated 4 man ruin/undying is at the bare minimum a full minute that zero gens are being worked on. with a halfway competent killer that is already game over for survivors. That isn't even taken into account solo players who's only chance is that the killer is completely potato.
