  • lol as a rank one survivor, you should be always be expecting NOED. not sure what you mean when you say “it shouldn’t come as a surprise” - it’s not EVER a surprise. i’m rank 3 and i go into every match knowing NOED will proc at end game, so every game I cleanse 4-5 totems on my own, while also doing gens, etc. and i play SOLO, while you’re in your little gen rush SWF where it’s much easier to keep count. none of your SWF likes to do totems? you should get better teammates. if you pass by a totem, cleanse it. you aren’t wasting time. in fact, it’s a better use of your time than rushing gens. gen rush only leads to NOED.

also, not one person in this thread said anything insulting or off topic. they’re just letting you know you only have to cleanse totems and NOED isn’t a problem. I don’t expect an entitled rank 1 survivor main whose only strategy is to gen rush to understand how easy it is to get rid of an easily counterable perk, but maybe try listening to their advice and you won’t have to deal with it as much.

P.S: you obviously weren’t doing “so well” all match if you didn’t even take the time to cleanse 5 totems :)

  • Doctor is fine. he’s not hard to play against. keep moving, stay out of the terror radius, don’t try to play stealthy cause you’ll just look dumb. against doctor, stealth means nothing. drop pallets early.

  • I t-bag in a friendly way :) its extremely hard to distinguish lol

  • All huntresses throw whales. If they’re not very good, they can still insta down without much effort because they land hits on you even when you’re clearly completely out of the way. But I will say... it is an iridescent add-on so it’s fair.

  • not sure why killers think DS is op, like having the ability to slug 3/4 of the team isn’t.

  • This happens to me too. I always thought killers were lagging me out of the game but I’m not sure if they can do that? I’ve seen laggers/hackers do crazy stuff. Either that or it’s a bug.

  • I like to play freddy to negate BT. It’s a pain in the as*s, I get it.

DS is counterable.. just slug and camp slugged body. Even if they unbreakable, doesn’t matter. Or - don’t tunnel for 60 seconds.

Dead Hard - I bait them by getting close but not swinging, and then after they dead hard, I down them.

BT isn’t really counterable unless you’re Freddy or far away from hook. Anyways, you’re not really being punished. Survivors are just using the tools they have to survive, but you also have the power to counter those things. :)

  • I bring ds every game because even though it doesn’t comes into play all the time, when I don’t have it I get tunneled hard.

as killer, when no one has DS and they’re unhooking in my face, that’s a free kill for me. :)

  • Try... doing gens by yourself? Gen speed will only be affected if you work with others. It’s better to spread work across multiple gens than jumping on the same gen to gen rush. I’m a rank 3 killer, rank 1 survivor, and doing gens with other people is annoying for killers since it makes the game go too quickly. You’re lying to yourself if you think it doesn’t. I know it does, cause when I play as survivor it is way TOO EASY to rush gens. The nerf is VERY much welcomed. They buffed Prove Thyself, so it will balance out.

    Maps/loops needed to be reworked.

  • I’m a high rank killer and I always dodge obvious swf. “Not a problem” my as*s. Even 2-man and 3-man squads can be annoying. Unfortunately no way to fix it because people should be able to play with their friends and have fun. Just keep dodging them and let a killer who doesn’t mind SWF play with them.

  • Map size has been needing a rework.

  • this is a cute idea! I’d like to see better animations as well :)

  • they don’t but that would be..interesting

  • I honestly don’t think it will happen but man, that would be so awesome! Candyman would make a great killer, I think a power having to do with bees would be cool. The buzzing would be off putting.

  • I feel you. they always expect you to follow them to strong loops. nope. you can waste your own time over there.

Yes it does... because having to find and cleanse all 5 totems as a solo queue is ridiculous. There's no communication and no way to tell how many totems were cleansed, so every survivor is forced to search for all 5 totems blind.

as a survivor, I cleanse as many totems as I come across. if there’s NOED at the end, I know I did my part, so I leave. I play solo and yes it is really tough to find all 5 totems, so I always EXPECT there to be NOED. I’m never upset that NOED is active cause I always expect it.

    basically, that’s just the game.

  • If you do 3-4 bones, that’s good. It’s on your team to do the last 1 or 2. If they don’t, then you have NOED. It’s not “unfair,” you just didn’t find all the totems this time, and your teammates sucked. Move on to the next game.

  • Sounds like you’re just salty PinkNeonNea. It’s curious. LMAO

I have no sympathy for you. I assume if you’re red ranks, you know how to cleanse totems. NOED is easily countered by cleansing totems.

”Survivors can win the game without broken perks, but killers are pretty useless without them” - Which is exactly why killers need “broken” perks. Thanks for pointing that out!

  • Sorry you aren’t able to loop the same loop over and over again all game like you can with other killers. Freddy’s snares are there to help end loops that could otherwise be run infinitely. Also survivors need to be asleep for snares/fake pallets/add ons to even affect them. Try to wake yourself up with your alarm clock, or with teammates, and they won’t be a problem at all. You can take a break from gen rushing.

  • Usually it’s an accident. If you’re slightly off while struggling, you die. It’s happened to me before.

  • sometimes killers camp because they’ve had bad experiences with survivors. a lot of survivors like to just rush the hook with BT. you can look away for a second, they’ll be there lmao. but yeah, my advice? run dead hard or ds. that’s how i deal with being tunneled/camped if I’m able to get off the hook.

  • Hiding in a locker completely negates the aura reading effect. That’s literally all you need to do lmao

  • not a bad idea, but gens repair pretty slow as it is... if only one person is doing gens while the other 3 are dying (happens more often than u think), it’s basically impossible. so i don’t think devs will want to make it even slower for solo survivors who tend to carry their teams in terms of getting gens done.

first few gens are going to get done, always. you can’t do anything to stop it. after that, it gets easier to pressure gens.

  • i don’t think so, but it’d be nice. currently they’re more concerned with making it LOOK smoother. but aim assist helps survivors more often than not.

  • I’ll take the bait. this is a dumb idea.

  • Yea, so... use an exhaustion perk!

  • Toxic survivors make killers camp. If killers didn’t have awful games when “playing fair” and then get taunted afterwards, they probably wouldn’t go into the next game to camp. Toxicity breeds toxicity. I say let them be mad.

  • I think he’s fun to play as and against. Survivors think he’s boring cause they can’t loop forever.

  • any survivor who does this always cries camper... but it’s as easy as not being toxic and not going for the save immediately in the killer’s face. i think they have gotten too used to BT? which is why i play freddy lmao

but seriously survivors shouldn’t do this. the killer has no incentive to leave. no reason not to camp. you’re basically giving him the free kills.

  • Also, to anyone who says “rank shouldn’t matter” - unfortunately, it does matter. Yes, I want to play for fun. But no, it’s not fun to carry baby survivors when you’re high rank.

  • Devs have said they won’t add them again.. to avoid lobby dodging.

But in my opinion, if they actually fixed match matchmaking to pair you with survivors close to your own rank, we wouldn’t have a reason to lobby dodge when we see the ranks.

    Tl;dr - please fix matchmaking!

  • his TR is small enough. he does not need to have no TR. That would be unfair.

seems like you personally are bored of him.

  • If everyone on the team does one gen, there’s only one left. With that logic, just do a gen lol

I understand boring games with the gens going too fast, but on the flip side, there’s too many games where one guy (usually me) is doing all the gens the entire time while the rest of the team throws, and it always comes down to “If one of my 3 teammates did ONE gen, we would have all probably escaped.”

  • As a survivor who uses DS every game - no. DS should stay the way it is, stunning the killer if they pick you up. Since the killer doesn’t have to pick you up to Mori you, the answer should be obvious... no.

Killers will tunnel if they want to, that’s just the game.

  • I hate this bug. When it happens, I’ll get frozen in place for a few seconds while the survivor runs off scott free. Which is pretty game breaking, especially when the killer being frozen in animation lets them finish a gen.

  • Considering meg could have worked on a gen that entire time instead of urban evading to find the hatch, no, you weren’t holding the game hostage. We have an immersed gamer on our hands.

  • Because if he somehow loses the survivor that he hit, they still have to mend, effectively wasting some of their time that could be spent on gens. It’s just a small added effect that isn’t really a big deal... would only benefit survivors somehow to have it removed.

  • Usually I’ll end up doing 4-5 gens while also being chased by the killer, then I’ll be on my first hook at endgame (due to NOED) and my teammates will immediately leave through the exits. Knowing full well they did nothing all game. While I die on my first hook. This happens all the time with solo play lmao

  • I think he’s fine. If anything, his slow speed makes up for the fact that he reloads quickly... Just try to keep running because looping doesn’t work for this particular killer. :)

  • The exploit OP is talking about isn’t about the reeling mechanic. I’ve played against deathslingers who will literally teleport me to them instantly after landing a shot. They aren’t just walking backwards and reeling in faster. It’s a bug/exploit.

  • Survivors don’t like that they can’t just bomb the hook in front of the killer and use Borrowed Time. They also don’t like that he can set down a trap and slow them down so they can’t keep abusing the same loop around a pallet. Basically, they don’t like that they can’t bully him or loop him endlessly. :)

  • Survivors always complain at me for “camping” even though they’re always crowding the hook as soon as I hook someone (I’m talking 2-3 people trying to swarm the hook immediately), or they run right behind me while I’m carrying someone like I can’t hear their foot steps, or they try to hook tech. It’s like... I can stay here all day if that’s how you want to play. You wanna be toxic, you get your teammates camped. That’s how it is.

If I have a reason to leave, I’ll leave. But there’s no reason for me to leave when the whole team is in the area lmao

  • Ironically when I have DS, I don’t usually get tunneled, but the second I decide to take it off the killer just KNOWS and will tunnel me til I’m dead, or try to at least. And that’s why I bring DS to every game.

whenever I try to play “fairly” as survivor OR killer, the opposition will notice and take full advantage. so I stopped trying to be fair for the sake of other people, since they don’t have the same respect for me. and that’s fine! :)

  • Try not slugging whole teams. Hook them, then they can’t use unbreakable.

  • you aren’t supposed to have info like when the killer leaves the hook, is in chase, etc. unless you specifically have a perk to have access to that info. that’s the point of the game?

    comms kill the game.

  • i hate when i’m trying to take my trap off and it’s always, without fail, the last box. i must have really bad luck or RNG is just trash ):

  • If survivors are so worried about finishing the gens as fast as possible instead of taking the time to cleanse only five totems, NOED is there to punish that. Cleanse totems. That’s the hard counter to NOED. Against optimal survivors, NOED isn’t usually a problem because all the totems are cleansed.

  • This used to happen to me a lot. What I would do is not start the gen I spawn next to and start walking to find the next gen. It helped a bit because if you’re good at stealth, the killer shouldn’t assume you’re in the area if the gen isn’t touched.

Other than that, there’s not much you can do when you spawn literally 10 ft away from them. RNG sucks sometimes!

  • Ironic that he complains about the match being “boring” while he had the entire team slugged. On the floor. Until they bled out. Like... you don’t think that’s boring for the survivors? Just entitled logic.
