If a killer is running noed they might want to know how many totems are left just in case they want to protect that last one, for example
A good killer doesn’t have to protect noed lol unless you have some one hooked next to the totem

Exactly. That combo was good for some slower, M1 Killers to make them competitive, not to carry weak Killers. Now a lot of those Killers will simply gravitate back to the strongest Killers. Unintended consequences are always fun.
Yup was having fun with the twins en pig but that won’t really be a good option so Freddy and spirit it is.

rank should be skilled based not who plays the most give good players more bp and shards because of the skill not because of the play time

I'm a bit late to the party, but I've already played Cyberpunk 2077. The foundation is good, but the game needs a lot of work.

Then survivors will hate devour hope, then complain about it on the forums. Which will eventually get it nerfed because "It'S sO uNfAiR"
it will be nerfed 100%

Actually, this is the one thing i dont think devs will touch. DHo is strong, but unlike most hex perks its use doesnt kick in until a bit into the game, even sooner with more aggressive survivors
i legit think they are going to change undying or hope in the end

They share the same resource. Reloading gives you four bottles by default of any combination you'd like.
One way you might want to use them, for example, is by throwing an antidote as your approaching the loop, then switching the tonics. That way you get a speed boost from the gas that's too far away for the survivor to run back and get, and then have your usual bottles to slow them down some more.
Reverse pog

Notice how none survivor bs things were addressed in this update. DS nerf? Keys nerf? DH nerf? Oh please, these things are totally fine.
At least now clown can buff survivors so that they escape faster, wow. And don't tell how "strategically" these bottles can be used, it's awful.
I'm glad I wasn't using und/ruin builds after a few weeks from this perk release, I knew survivors are going to get this nerfed. Just like I wasn't playing spirit since few months after her release or how I abandoned nurse in the beginning of 2019 when most complaints about her raised. I wonder what'll be nerfed next?
i swear this update is awful we need to wait like 6 months to see a ######### key rework the devs are a freaking joke this update just shows how survivor sided the devs are since it brings the most money
-
i agree like most killer powers are right mosue click and the power icon is on the left seems wierd to me

DBD is an asymmetric game, which is, by definition, unfair and unbalanced as it is a team of four survivors versus one killer.
There are many unbalanced features to this game beyond that, you brought them up in your post. Just because you don't think it's unbalanced doesn't make it true.
Since all the map tiles are procedurally generated, there are permutations that are extremely unbalanced for either side. Some maps will spawn giant dead zones and some maps will spawn the strongest tiles in the game connected to one another.
There's a plethora of imbalance in every single one of the game's features, from addons to perks to killer powers to maps to offerings. On top of this the game suffers from buggyness, hit registration issues, and dedicated server issues.
i mean evolve was a really good balanced game so it isnt that hard from what i remember f13 was also pretty balanced although i cant speak to much about it since i havent play it much
-
@all devs lol do this for a weekend as a experiment let’s see if survivors like that

I just don't see how people enjoy maining the twins. Sure they are cool themewise and the concept of playing two characters is definitely cool but after a couple of games i found them incredibly boring because the only way to do well with them is either hit and run like theres no tomorrow or camp and slug the hell out of ppl, which is boring for both sides.
agree 100%

lmao devs dont deserve pity shoving free bloodpoints and mtx down our faces

survivors dont want killers to win

Ah, ok you are talking about the visual design. Not my taste to be honest, but I can understand why people like their design.
I like the creativity, DBD-Killers are very creative most of the time and Twins are no exception.
Sorry for not making that clear i updated the main post

Well, for me is the worst, i got her for the perks but she's still lv 40 and haven't played her since release
Which killer do you think looks best?

Twins are one of the worst designed Killers in this game. Kinda interesting how it went from an awesome KIller (Blight) to this abomination.
That’s what I like about them there not just a simple man in a mask like ghost face Myers Freddy kinda

they are going to buff ds

This game has taken a road that can't be viable for asymetrical gaming. I still play it because i have friends to play with but if it was not the case i would stop right away.
Most killers are ok BUT perks are dumb and change too much the way to play the game.
All survivors are clone and can equip all perks, removing all the goal of a team with complementary build (exemple a healer, a runner, a saver and a gen rusher).
Evolve was a game with way better teamplay mechanic. Unfortunately the game didn't encounter the success it deserved but it was miles ahead DbD. But the press stomp (unjustified) killed it.
To summurize it :
You had a monster that had to kill 4 hunters.
In a team, each hunter was from a different class : a trapper, a dmg dealer, a healer and a support.
Trapper had to catch the monster and to slow it down.
Dmg dealer had to deal dmg
Healer had to heal and had a secondary power (like creating weak points on the monster)
Support had to support the team (either cloak them, either shield them)
And the team needed to create a synergie to survive and kill the monster. No one could survive without the support's and healer's job, no one could dmg the monster without it being trapped and being stomped by the dmg dealer etc... One mistake and the monster won the game. With no mistake on both side it was a 50/50 chance of winning. The teamplay was beyond everything you know in the multiplayer game history. You can check some gameplay on youtube.
There were perks also, perks that gave small bonuses but nothing game changing. Nothing as strong as NOED or Ruin/Undying or DS/Unbreakable.
When we compare DbD, we clearly see that the teamplay features are weak, there is nothing but this : being two on a gen, unhooking, bodyblocking, being two to heal. Other things like flashlight/pallet saves are so rare that i don't call this teamplay.
So yes, DbD is not a team game, it's a 1 v 4xindividuals game. All 4 survivors can play for him/her self 99% of the time. Why ? Mostly because most perks are teachable, same for killers, all perks are teachable, most killers have the same build... And perks are globally way too strong.
Bruh evolve was amazing ! If the marketing didn’t suck we would’ve had evolve 2 i player the alpha and beta and base game it’s so awesome and the character design is just awesome I wish Dbd had this mechanic that one person is healer one is repair guy one the saver one the rusher guy that is in chases all the time makes characters different just like killer

Accurate. The majority of the vets in the community know they are biased, which is why they dont bother posting here anymore.
I post here for the funs and help new killers

Survivor bias doesnt mean you never improve the other side, it means that you heavily favor one side over the other, often subconsciously based on which side you play more.
The numbers dont lie. Less than half the killers that use to play this game, are willing to play that role anymore, thats why during primetime survivor waits are often 10mins+. If the split was 80/20, there would be a balanced que. If only half of that 20% is willing to play, survivor que times go up by approx the time it takes to play 1 match. Since the que is usually about 10 minutes, we can conclude that the community is currently about 90% survivor and 10% killer.
The company knows this, they have the data, they simply are unwilling to make any change, from adding bonuses for killers playing against SWF, to buffing solo play like they said they wanted to do for years while making zero changes. SWF is their focus, and the result is massive ques, and at this point it looks like ego is the only thing stopping them from admitting they made a mistake. I find it ironic that the result hurts SWF more than anyone else, due to que times.
agreed the buffed Freddy which is good but they are going to nerf him soon they removed moris basically with out warning while keys are still a thing and will give a warning to survivors so they can use them before the nerf comes

... this "if survivors complain, there must be limited counterplay" concept is survivor bias, from BHVR itself, and is indicative the reason your survivor que times are awful during primetime. This is the same reason BHVR refuses to admit that SWF is a problem, or even give killers bonus points for playing against an obvious disadvantage.
Perhaps when survivor ques reach 30 minutes, they will finally understand that just because 80% of their community thinks something is unfair, because of the 4-1 (80/20) player split.
Survivor bias is strong in this game

Well he is one of the most complained about killers, so surely you must think he's a good killer if so many survivors complain about him.
He is good if you got a csgo back ground you can easily kill survivors fast

I disagree with this assessment. Most survivors find killers such as Blight, Nurse, Billy, etc. To be fun to verse. These are all strong killers. You simply cherry picked killers to make your point.

She would have been alone left to die if we had opened the exits though. In my eyes we weren't holding the game hostage because he could have just hit her and hooked her (which he eventually did) and he chose to body block her in the corner after she cleansed NOED. I don't think the killer could report us for holding the game hostage because he literally could have just gone and open the exit and forced us out but didn't. The only one that could report us really would be the survivor and she is much more likely to report the killer seeing as it was him that was doing it.
i didnt say you guys where holding the game hostage lol all im saying is you cant report him for it since there was still a objective that couldve been done aka opening the gates
-
if you want to have fun and just lay back run meme builds just derank might take you 2 days but while u derank u can watch netflix or play other gamesmake sure you come back when egc happends so u can get one kill or smth so ur not afking
-
as long as survivors can do something its all good if she would be alone then it would be reportable
