Yep. I only have enough space for one game at a time tho at max

time to switch to PC 😀

  • Doesn't Xbox have a method of recording games?

So I know sloppy only effects non downed survivors , basically they would heal eachother damn near instantly even without med kits . When they did get the med kits it was instant healing , and when I downed one she got picked up (no one had the perk that instantly picks the other survivor up OR a medkit) and I re downed her. They were also oddly close to me at the hooks while injured which was weird .

Have replays shadowplay on if you have shadowplay and if this happens again, you can easily save the last 20 min.

  • There is an influx of cheaters, unfortunately. Nothing much we can do other than report. I suggest recording your games with shadowplay and sending in video footage to support.

I've made 1 full report like that and when I checked the guy's steam, he had a ban, so I will assume Support banned him. No way to know for sure tho, could be just wishful thinking

The new prestigate was 100x increase to the grind we were lied... For getting perks big increase for the grind if you didn't p1 your every character at least before the update too.

Very true, I wanted Agitation but had trapper at lv 14. It took over a mil bloodpoints to UNLOCK the perk (for some reason, he was getting all the expensive add-ons). Then I had to level it on the killer I wanted the perk on.

Before the update, I got the bird lady and all her perks with about 500-600k bloodpoints.

It's cool if you had the characters leveled up before the update but for any future update, it will be a drag.

  • I lose more, but mainly because of teammates. SoloQ in my opinion is harder now, not because of the killer buffs but because the MMR is somehow worse than before, and you either get teammates with few hours, clueless teammates, teammates that do nothing, teammates that are overly confident and seem to think they're good at looping and being toxic, but in reality are not and what I see the most is teammates that are sabotaging you on purpose - e.g. body blocking you or bringing the killer to you on purpose in the hopes you will be taking a hit for them, etc.

If a survivor tries to sabotage me in a match by whatever means, I give up on hook and move on. That might be putting my MMR In the gutter, but honestly I'd rather leave and lose than play with teammates that are doing these things

It has gotten to a point where I see survivors make mistakes that just leave me speechless and I just let the killer end my suffering.

I thought the MMR was bad, but now it's on a whole new level of bad. I keep seeing survivors with no prestige in my lobbies, I check the accounts where possible - 50-200 hrs in the game, so I'm thinking smurfs. There is no way the game is paring me with babies. But no, those are babies, they play like babies

  • @Biscuits said:

It took me 9 games to complete 1 escape challenge. I am also Iri 1, idk what has happened in the past 2 days, but it's bad.

Im getting paired with survivors with no game time, complete babies to the game. I'm scared to even think about where exactly in the MMR system I place 😂 It's either that or I get paired in Narnia servers and get 150-300 ping, I guess the killer queues are that bad

  • @EternalSinOfCain said:

I dunno. I'm going to be frank, i've seen quite a few cheaters as of late. Subtle hacks are kind of out of control. Survivors with subtle 3-5% speed hacks. Killers with NO aura reading perks picking me out of a locker, even though I hid there a minute ago and they walked from across the map. (No Lethal Purser, Darkness Revealed, BQQ). Subtle Speed hacks on Killers ( I play a lot of killer and I know when a Killer is going 120% or more.) Lot of things just not adding up. Then I check and see they have the console icon, which makes me doubt myself, then I remember the Epic Games Store free accounts. Truthfully you can't blame folks right now, the subtle hacks are going rampant right now.

It's been part of my standard build up until now with a lot of success. However, with lightweights buff, I'm likely switching it out.

The trick with using urban evasion is using it to keep constant gen pressure. Running it to sneak around and avoid the killer in general is a bad choice.

Urban is unnecessary. You can be stealthy easily without that perk. Not only that, but I see survivors crouching to heaven and back while another survivor is being chased on the other side of the map. Crouching and hiding when the killer is nowhere near and being unproductive for the sake of what exactly is unclear to me.

I see people crouch hiding and crouch coming to save me when I'm on the hook and the killer is nowhere near me. I've gone into struggle because of urban users crouching at unnecessary times, and it kinda sucks when you've been saving them all game and the moment you need to be saved they crouch for the save

All in all, in my experience, urban users are the most inexperienced players that tend to do nothing all game and overall don't know how to be stealthy effectively.

If you don't know how to be stealthy fixated or whatever the current name of that perk is, helps. You can get an idea of how to hide, where to hide, and how to manipulate your scratch marks to get the killer to go the wrong way or lose you. Learning how to do that, imo is much better than crouch walking at normal walking speeds

  • Im seeing survivors bringing urban invasion 🙄

  • Legion needs to be looked at not only from the slow-down perspective in combination with certain perks, but the fact that they nullify multiple survivor perks. I'm talking about all perks that grant endurance. I'm sure it's very fun and easy from the killer perspective, but balancewise it's just broken.

    in Legion Comment by foodie
  • I dont unhook survivors if they've been annoying - unhelpful, doing nothing, bringing the killer to me, hoping id take a hit or the killer would switch targets, stealing hook saves, etc. I'm content with losing the game, knowing that I made that survivor mad at me. Yes, I'm petty like that and I enjoy it

What I mean is that Hag is the only Killer who is slower than most Killers AND does not have an ability which is used in a chase. But then again, even if you get hit with DS as Hag, it is not like it matters.

And what I dont understand is how is there any difference between Trapper and e.g. Sadako when it comes to getting hit by DS.

What do you think hag's ability is? her ability is for chase. just as an example: https://streamable.com/7dqg1p

My play style is different, I guess. I don't tunnel if I can avoid it and if I have no choice I keep an idea of how much time has passed after the unhook or whether i have seen the survivor do something that would cancel DS.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

Why should it be harder for the Killers in the lower tier to deal with DS compared to those which you labelled as "mild annoyance"? They are all 4,6 m/s (except for Myers in Tier 1), so completely the same like Trapper.

IMO the only Killer where DS is slightly stronger is Hag, because she is only 4,4 m/s and does not have any Ranged Ability or an ability to increase her mobility.

But in general, all Killers will laugh about DS and Survivors who still bring DS have a wasted Perk Slot.

As a hag main, ds is not an issue. IIMO its not an issue for any killer since its easily avoidable. I'm saying this as someone who hasn't been stunned by ds in years.

It's been officially confirmed to be the 19th of July.

Your Honor, lack of foundation and hearsay

  • excited to try some builds with my killa

  • Better - how many hours would you assume i have if my devotion is 5?

  • STBFL is magic on haggie :)

  • The gen speed is not the issue, it's the lack of other objectives :) Im sure that both we as a community and the devs can figure out other objectives to slow down games but also not make it completely stale for survivors, but the question is whether the devs will be executing such changes

  • If someone doesnt want to stay in a match, they will leave. You can't force someone to stay and waste their time in an unfun situation. They would rather go to the next match, simple as that.

  • myself :)

  • You know what would be great, either giving survivors a built-in deliverance if the killer has stayed near the hook for X amount of time, or the hook timer coming to a pause if the killer is whatever meters away from the hook for X amount of time. The latter will give the other survivors either more time to save you, or give a notification you're being camped, so they can do gens.

Devs already shared they will be working on notifications for survivors showing what they're doing.

  • Honestly, just stay mad. Both sides are getting nerfed, but killers got it better, yet you complain like you have no other perk options. You expect to have it easy with perks that will do it all for you, while you put no effort in. Try putting some effort, try other perks, other builds, other game style and get some skill, instead of crying at every update that is not a 100% buff to you.

Let's not act like ppl don't avoid playing killers with high skill cap just because it's inconvenient and will require effort in learning the killer, and would rather play the easy killers with the easy perks that carry all their matches.

By this time we should all know that things change and devs nerf perks, you can either accept it and adapt or cry about it in the forums like it will change your outcome.

There are plenty of other good options you can try

  • @Ksekwlothreftis @Crowman

Since one or both of you wanted some sort of an example. Here is Hag an M1 killer. This is my clip.

    https://streamable.com/j26eh2

As we can see, I'm hooking a survivor in the basement, perfect opportunity to camp, especially on Hag. What do I do after the hook - retrap, walk around trying to hear gens and oooh a survivor. She gets chased and downed and hooked and what happened to the basement hook, he got unhooked but my trap at the shack remained untouched. :)

I will be leaving you to enjoy. I've explained and repeated and even given you an example in video format

  • I don't main killer, so I can only speak for the killer I play and the only killer I have leveled up. You find a way to best complement your main killer, I've found what I can do to have fun with my killer and for me its a small game - I don't go for the unhooked survivor and I go back to the hook if my one and only trap is triggered and if MYC is active all the better. I take make your choice to the level of - you trigger my trap, I come, you don't trigger it, I won't.

And again, avoiding triggering the trap is easy - just crouch.

I either play with no add-ons or brown ones for distance and time on the phantasms.

  • @Crowman said:

I know what camping is. And you are playing a hag build designed to allow you to pressure hooks and get trades in the same way as if you were camping the hook.

You can put whatever noble spin about how you consider it to be different, but trapping hooks as hag is still effectively camping.

Its not camping if you don't trigger the traps and its a simple thing to do - crouch or flashlight the traps. Let's not act like people don't know how to avoid her traps at hooks and NO I don't put all 10 of my traps at the hook. People trigger the hook trap on purpose and cry camper later.

Again, it's your choice on whether you want me to come to the hook or not

U fail to realise that your way of playing is entirely specific to the killer u play. MYC is useless for any killer that isnt demo, hag, nurse. Like if u cant comprehend that most killers need to kill a survivor asap to have a chance to win the game then i dont know what to tell u. But sure if u play against new players 12hook is deffo more enjoyable ig

Unlike most killers hag is not able to camp gens or run around gens. She has to put up traps and constantly retrap, she can't put much pressure on gens by going to them. She puts pressure with hooks and spends much time not chasing to put traps and she is utterly useless as a slow killer without having her traps preset up. You have to play her differently and MYC is magic on her but its not necessary, I just personally enjoy it

  • @Crowman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3055689#Comment_3055689

You are simply describing camping, but with extra steps. You are still putting the same pressure on the hook regardless if you are physically there or not.

Im describing use brain and dont trigger traps. Why wouldn't I go back if you make noise on purpose whilst knowing you're one shot from MYC. I think you need to understand what camping is. I'm letting you save and giving you a choice

Hag with MYC? Bro…your free to pretend your an upstanding Killer who can play with the survivor rulebook and still have “fun”, but I fairly suspicious that your a Grade A camper haha. Bet my bottom dollar that you trap up the hooked area, only venture far enough to be able to proc MYC, then teleport back, down new survivor, same hook, some trap-set up, basically keeping your Campsite and cooking your s’mores lol.

Your not less of a camper because you use a Killer that can camp via ‘her power’ instead of physically herself xD

This is like a Nurse Main telling Killers they need to be better at adding pressure by ending chases early lolol.

Sorry, I’m not trying to dump on you, just the whole statement caught me off guard. To stay on topic, I mostly play Killer but when I do play Survivor, I rarely get facecamped, I might get tunneled out but that’s fair game and I should get better at running loops and my team should get better at body-blocking. It’s a team game after all. Getting tunnel is a strategy that I understand and respect and I only blame myself for being identified as such a weak looper that I’m worth the small time investment to tunnel out OR I consider it a badge of honor if I looped better then usual and the Killer specifically gave up the game to kill me.

Some survivors are so soft, Facecamp and tunnel isn’t as terrible and detrimental as they make it out to be. Now T-bagging and flashlight clicking are what is truly terrible (/Sarcasm)

When I play hag and have a survivor hooked, I do other things like retrap, kick gens, break pallets, chase other people if I find any. And yes, if MYC goes off and the survivors trigger my trap, you're right I will teleport back, but I will go for the person that unhooked and NOT the person that was unhooked.

It's called MYC for a reason, and unlike other killers Hag doesn't have a 1 shot power or add-ons.

I give 2 chances. If you trigger MYC and don't trigger the trap then the chances are I won't be able to find you even if I ran back manually. Hag is a slow killer.

If you trigger MYC and my trap, you deserve to go down by it. It's simple to not trigger my trap at the hook, it's your choice. And that the 2nd chance, 2nd make your choice. You can either save without triggering my trap or you can be confident in yourself and do it anyway.

My brother in christ the survivors i play against get 3 gens done before corrupt while i got 1 person in a hook and 1 person getting chased. U cannot 12hook with most killers against competent survivors and even with those u can its very hard. I wanna see u switch the hag and play ghostface or any M1 killer tho and see for yourself.

Is hag suddenly not an M1 killer?

  • @Ksekwlothreftis said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/333784/tunneling-and-camping-have-gone-out-of-control

People want killers to act like cute little pets, always prioitizing the other party's enjoyment over their own. Winning is the most enjoyable thing and as it goes, killing survivors is no matter which way u do it. The only reason u are angry and u stroke post on the forums is because u lost. Either quit the game or consider improving at it. Honestly if u managed to get tunnelled and lose against nemesis on the game it screams skill issue.

Aaaand I can tell which kind of killer you are. It's much more satisfying when you 4k with no tunneling and survivors dying on their 3rd hook than having half the team dying or tunneling and having the survivors quit or die on their first hook. Putting in the extra work and succeeding without the exit gates being open is a different kind of win satisfaction.

You just need to learn how to pressure survivors and believe me gens come to a big halt when this happens. When you tunnel the same person, and camp, or commit to super long chases, you just give free time for the survivors to do gens as quickly as possible.

I play only Hag and I can tell you Make your Choice makes my games more fun than tunneling the same person. The hook swaps are the best.

  • I'm always left surprised and shocked when a killer is not tunneling, camping or proxy camping. That 1-2 K is too important to most, and you know these are the same people that complain of BT and DS. I don't play killer much but when I do, I don't camp or tunnel and I don't get hit by DS or tunnel the poor BT survivor. These perks are easily avoidable, and it's more fun to alternate hooked survivors than sit next to the hook and wait.

Some people just enjoy ruining other people's time whilst wasting their own. It's really the individual person's choice on how they want to play, and it seems most prefer to sit at hooks and chase the same person.

Taking a break from the game is healthy, I took a few years break and seeing how the game is not offering much, a new break might be coming.

I play on both sides, man. Just trying to figure it out considering I was dealing with a hag that placed every trap possible at a hooked survivor and stayed right there. Not even with my two other teammates and I could get them out. Only reason why we even all got out was because she felt bad about doing it and let us leave. EVEN SHE THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD!

I get what you mean, but its a part of her power, its even in her descriptions. Also, any person that knows how to play hag will not place more than 1 trap at hooks and camp there. It's not a good strategy and as survivor there are ways to go around her traps and camera flicks.

Overall, hag is a weak killer compared to other killers and especially the newest killer, who has in my opinion too many powers and not many counters or setbacks to his power, unlike hag.

Its not that its impossible to play her and be successful, but at this point she needs a bit of a buff, specifically to her add-ons which are more than meh, again compared to other killers.

The camera flick is in no way OP and without it, she'd be even weaker.

But that's the thing, it doesn't. Take survivor for example. You can have but a month of nothing but deaths and hartch escapes. Your MMR isn't going to go up but you can still easily get it Iri grade doing that.

No, getting iri means you've been playing and have had wins, therefore you should not be paired with the lowest rank. Being Ash means that you haven't played and/or you haven't had any wins. And again I've been escaping through the gates with all the team or 1-2 kills, therefore my teammates should not be the same ones I have on my killer on which I haven't played since the rank reset.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

It depends on your mmr levels, zone and time.

I mean even you are on high mmr, you will get probably bad survivors when you play morning because most of people at job/school. Things happen.

But MMR is bad system, we can agree on that. It destroyed my solo survivor exp.

It's the weekend and it's the afternoon for me, but yes the mmr system is obviously not working as intended

  • @Sepex said:

I mean no disrespect in the slightest but screenshots about matchmaking have zero value anymore. Chances are your all roughly around the same mmr.

Sure a downhill match can set the scores pretty low but in an rng game there's too much to factor in here.

I haven't played killer in a while, and I've been having a win streak on survivor, so it makes no sense to have the same MMR on both killer and survivor. Also, how small is the player base to get the same survivor twice. And, ranking does matter, not like it used to, but it has an effect

The downside is you get probably hit. Its just ridiculous to get locked in a direction you dont want to run. It just makes zero sense.

It's her power, if you want to avoid it, don't run into her traps. There are ways to go about her traps which I quite frankly am not willing to share.

It's a part of her power
