For perspective I was able to use forever Freddy to get all 30 of my kicks for the challenge in 1 match. The match lasted forever. I did a ton of slugging but allowed everyone to escape since i got what i wanted. It wasn't fun for anyone.

This is also an issue.
The game play has changed so much the last month and not for the better. Too many matches with players throwing pallets, wasting all match trying for flashlight blinds, dive bombing hooks for saves, players running around to get heals, farmers it just makes the game annoying to be honest.
If this is going to be the new normal i just don't know anymore about this game.

They couldn't just increase the hook phase times? Make gens a lot longer and make hook phases so long its not worth camping. Like 10 minutes to die.
That way killers have to be aggressive and constantly cross the map.
Increasing the objective would make slugging even stronger and more boring overall gameplay for everyone involved.

Not sure which is more fun to watch Killer mains over reacting to nerfs or Survivor mains over reacting to nerfs.

Not if you reduce gen times and add a second objective. This will make the game more fun and varied overall.
God Help this forum the day the devs announce reducing gen times. They will need the mods and good boys on here to talk all the killers down.

Increasing Gen times and or adding a second objectives would lead to more tunneling and camping as it buys killers more time. Solo survivor is already miserable and this would stop the game from growing.

Moris and keys swing the balance of power in a game. If you eliminate one you need to eliminate the other.

Was there ever a consideration to remove the sprint aspect of balanced landing and just keep the no stagger effect thus removing it as an exhaustion perk?

Devour Hope stacks(get stacks striking survivor on hook)
Stuck on trees
Unable to escape through exits
Unable to heal, be healed, mend or interact with a generator
This are a few bugs that benefited killers and were in the game for a bit of time.
BHVR for their flaws are not favoring one side over the other. It is what can they fix because they found the root cause.

Base Kindred is a bad idea. It will make this game more of a try hard game for both sides and have a hard time retaining its current player base while be inviting to new players.
This game is not some competitive game to balance. The escape/kills are based on the map and load outs of each side. Killers can have OP load outs which if used and the player has skill can get them 4 kills every single match.
The SWF myth is every team is a 3-4 man full of sweaty try hards. While those "squads" exist they are rarer then people want to admit. People need an excuse for their loss in a pvp game.

I play more survivor than killer these days. The new kindred is really strong.
If everyone had it this would be an incredible nerf to Every killer.

Should every survivor perk be garbage? It helps prevent being tunneled. It has a 60s cool down, Slug if you don't want to get hit with it.

I loop the killer (GF) for 3 gens, he looses me, he hooks a guy, we open the gates, damn, I think "I can get my challenge done, should I be egocentric? No, I'm a team player, if something happens, we're a team", I go for the unhook, the kiler hits me, no NOED, I unhook the guy with BT, the killer hits me again and hooks me... The two other guys heal the unhooked...
Wanna guess what happened then...?
I broke an Oni's ankles all match as a purple rank 5. I saved the red rank and got downed by the Oni while the red rank i saved and his red rank teammate left and i died on my first hook and still out scored both who escaped.
Scrub teammates come in all colors and ranks.

You had to hook someone on a special hook or complete a special gen that wasn't any harder to complete than normal. Wow, such skill. Not anything you could do by just playing the game as normal.
While i agree you didn't have to do anything special. The problem was event offerings early on didn't work, coins were not being accumulated, special hooks were broke(this was before they couldn't be or every hook was an event), the special gens would get camped or hard patrolled just to deny players. Some of these events were toxic ######### shows, which is why future events got changed.

I understand what you are saying but i also didn't have a chance for Legacy. I'm not out here asking for an option to buy Legacy because that is wrong.

@Zixology do it at your own discretion but personally. im not sitting in another one of these matches. I don't blame the killers i blame my teammates for the unhooks in the basement and left stuck so the killer gets the four kills and denies a hatch. I waited 9 mins in the basement after being unhooked twice while he found the last person.
The iron plus agitation builds are crazy right now. Agitation maybe bugged how fast and far i got transported to the basement.

You basically have tried to invalidated people who did earn it by saying the process to earn it was easy so why don't you have it?? Oh right game kept crashing, offerings not working, was probed by space aliens that weekend etc etc etc....
Seriously let it go. Game is broke for killers and survivors right now and you are having a nervous breakdown over a cosmetic you didn't earn but want anyway. We don't always get what we want.

The cosmetics were earned by players who played the event.
You did not so you should not get them.

If i'm playing killer i want survivors to selfcare instead of doing the objective.
If i'm survivor i'm pissed when injured teammates waste time self caring instead of doing the objective or letting someone else heal them.
It is why some of those Legion, Freddy and Plague builds have become really strong to work against the anti heal builds.

It truly does. So several of my coworkers saw footage of me playing the game in both roles and wanted to get it. The problem is i play on Ps4 as do a 2 others and a few have xbox. Xbox was on sale black friday for $150 plus the game pass for 3 months for a $1 including DBD. The 3 of us on Ps4 bought it so we could all play together.
I knew what i was getting into and told these guys before they bought it. The grind, matchmaking, bugs etc.... After the "patch" yesterday and the basement hook thing 3 of the 6 new players said ######### that game let's find something else to play!!!!
That is Dead by Daylight!!!!

DS is a one time use situational perk. It has already been nerfed move on.

Survivors self caring creates more time for killers if you remove this i will push more players to the no heal play style just like what happened when healing was nerfed. 5 min games will become way more common.

Lower that entitlement a bit. It is a bug. Wake up was a bug sprint burst was a bug, agitation II, etc etc etc..... The legion addons were over site by the devs didn't deserve a ban either. The game is constantly broke lets stop try to get one another banned for the devs ######### ups and focus on the actual issues.

I've asked for this also and thought it incentives players to try new killers and builds.
While they may face less experienced players with the new ranking system update/change it seems more of a possibility.

Survivor on the hook being able to see from the killers perspective
Not being able to escape the trial
These including this one are some of the most egregious ones.

@LordGlint stuck at work player tag is same as forum. Did the survivors not unhook the person in the basement or the survivor dc'd? Got a feeling that dc penalty or not we will see a ton of this until patched.
