Test play and debugging is the player's job.

I'm also JP.
His visuals are well-liked in Japan, but he is difficult to use(especially on console), and even if you could use him, he is too weak. So, playing as a killer is not really preferred.

I opened five chests today and got two ultra rare maps, two Alex toolboxes, and one brown toolbox.
Was there a glitch or shadow buff that tended to increase the rarity of items appearing from the chests?
-
But...I think, unless the survivors are really bad at it, two (or at least one) generators should have already been repaired by the time the first survivor is hung from the hook.
-
How about a Survivor mii skin?
Or maybe a T-bagging Claudette assist figure is the symbol of this game?๐ฅณ

The last time the system was checked for totem generation was in patch note 2.6.0, have there been any changes since then? This is 4.5.2.

This problem also occurred at the DBDJC held last month.
(2:40:14~)
https://youtu.be/phKL4NXVT_4However, the response of the tournament organizers was to switch the camera and pretend it was not happening, which was criticized by many users in Japan. (However, another camera soon after showed evidence that the glitch might have been exploited.)
The rules of the tournament stated that the use of the glitch was prohibited, but there was no blame attached to it.
I hope this bug will be fixed.

YUMI is a Japanese name.
And many young Japanese women like K-POP idols. (I'm not prejudiced).
She probably went there for the Trickster concert and was killed by him there. With their screams being recorded.

Thank you all for your answers.
I am glad to see the agreement as I believe that intentional disconnection should never be allowed.
And I'm glad to hear a (slightly) more positive view of AFK, since my argument is that I'd rather put down the controller than disconnect.

I think that just changing the 2.5 second gray to yellow time lag to 1.5~2.0 seconds would be much better.

80 points became 20 points, and now 60 points.
Still, thanks to their sloppy response and ignoring the voices of PTB users, the rating is even lower.

After Frenzy attacking Survivor ABCD, attack the last Survivor again.

I don't mean to deny playing with friends, but I don't see how it is any different from making another mutual friend and playing KYF.
-
I generally agree with the rule about limiting duplication of parks. (But still there were restrictions on offerings, items and add-ons. There were also restrictions on killer UR and VR. That'd be SWF with brand new parts, syringes, hemostats, maps and keys, and the ability to use purple test potion/oak tree/coins together.)
But still, the use of voice chat breaks SWF for the reason that we can share each other's location, killer location, palette availability, and lots of other information without perks.
To address this issue, the game should be divided into a casual mode that can be played in SWF and a solo only ranked match mode that cannot be played in SWF.

I understand it on some killers, but certain very rare addons like Rusty Shackles should really be reviewed imo.
I really understand what you mean.
It is true that addons that can perform above rarity, which are in some killers, should probably be restricted. (But this competition does not restrict voice chat).
On a similar note, there is also the question of whether Executioners should have Crimson Ceremony Book as very rare. Garbage that performs below rarity is just as hard to see from a flat perspective as those.
-

Can someone explain me why the hell is Rusty Shackles Hag allowed???
The rules allow you to equip one very rare addon.

I commented that the Japanese survivor mains in the youtube comments section are overreacting to the camping and tunnels, but there are many similar comments in English. It seems they are even allergic to camping and tunnels when they should be. The convenience of the killer is always ignored.

That's why this game needs several game modes. Something for casual matches and ranked with tournament like rules.
Yes,yes,yes... I totally agree with you.

@Tsulan said:
So far it looks similar to yesterday.
2 hooks by the time survivors completed 4 gens. Even with full gen slowdown build.
There is no denying it.
The killer is the need to do everything without a single mistake, and that is the assumption.
Still, if Survivor does what it has to do, Survivor can avoid annihilation.
And yet the super casual jp survivor mains in the youtube comments section say the killer is too powerful!๐

Yes. The prize for first place is 1,200,000 auric cells.
Wait...yes, the image on the official website for the tournament is of auric cells, but nowhere in the document does it say they are auric cells.
It just says that the price is 1.2 million yen.

I donยดt understand how they calculate the points. Isnยดt it about kills?
1kill=1pt
2kill=2pt
3kill=3pt
4kill=5pt
Repeat the attack and defense.
Today's quarterfinals and the next semifinals are two-round games with a total of four matches.
Only the final is a three-round game with a total of six matches.
There are also two rounds of qualifying.

How does scoring work?
The points shown in the general results are not taken into account at all.
Only how many people died/escaped will be the points for the tournament.
1 point for each person executed, 5 points only for total annihilation.
The current quarterfinals will be played twice, alternating between offense and defense.

They play VERY save. The Freddy match showed how a regular match looks these days. With the difference, that they could have made the save, body block and escaped all 4.
It's true that Freddy wasn't very good at what he just did.
Nevertheless, due to the rules of the tournament, we think it is okay to confirm the escape of three people safely rather than forcing four people to escape. Enough of an advantage.
-
First, 32 teams were selected for the preliminary stage in order of their average rank close to 1 among the teams that applied online in advance.
Next, the eight teams that survived the preliminary stage will compete in the quarterfinals and beyond, which are being distributed starting today.
I don't know if they are top tier or not, but this tournament has some restrictions, so they may not be top tier (this tournament is for ps4 and ps5 only, pc is not included).
It's hard to tell in detail... I'm sorry if my English is not good enough.
-
@Tsulan said:
The Myers match was disapppointing. The Dwight should have gone for the save.
Due to the nature of the match, I think it would have been better to escape alone than to be wiped out from Round1 taking into account the possibility of being wiped out by going to the rescue with NOED left, it might not be a mistake to choose to escape alone and not give their opponents any points.

Hello, everyone abroad! I'm Japanese.
I have a question for everyone on the English forum about the DbD JP championships coming up next month.
It's been said on both the English and Japanese forums that DbD's game balance is not good.
It has always been said that what destroys the game the most is that the SWF (voice chat party) information sharing is extremely unbalanced.
The rules stated in the DbD JP championship this time were an admission by the management that the game is unbalanced (especially in SWF). As a premise, please keep in mind that the four Survivors participating in this tournament are SWFs that use voicechat.
Duplicate Survivor characters are not allowed.
No duplicate survivor perks.
No keys allowed (out of the box keys can be used)
No add-ons to Survivor items.
Prohibit the use of ultra rare add-ons for killers.
No more than one Very Rare add-on may be used.
Prohibit the use of offerings from both camps.
Survivors may ban one killer in each of the three rounds (three killers may be banned in the final round).
I have read these restrictions and feel that Survivor has the advantage. So much so that SWF (voicechat party) is toxic for information sharing.
I also believe that whether the map is Lumpkin or Midwich will make a huge difference in the war.
Lastly, I also believe that the management has acknowledged that they can finally have some equality by imposing these restrictions even if it is against SWFs. Do you think these rules should apply to the actual DbD?
Sorry for the long text, I wrote it while translating at DeepL.
If you can Japanese, please check the DbD Japanese Twitter.

Watching it right now!
I honestly think, DbD should hold regular official tournaments and balance around it.
Even the rules for this official tournament have many rules tacked on, proving that balance is not currently achieved.
I expect that many Japanese survivors will argue that the killer has the advantage as the killer does better in each match (or rather, some users are already making such disgusting comments on the current distribution), but it is the survivor side of voice chat and perk restrictions.

The poster is a known troll on the English forums just ignore them and don't take the bait.
Thanks. I learned that there are good people and bad people in every forum. I want to be careful not to get caught in the bait.
-
I'm watching this from the Japan forum and sometimes I see these dumb claims, is this serious? I don't speak English very well, so I'm using a translation, but I think it's not that killers are too strong, it's that the majority of survivors have been asking for nerfs without making any effort to get better. I really don't know if these opinions are really serious because Survivor is bad at it, or if it's just sarcasm from the Survivor mains making such silly claims.
-
The competitive aspect of the event is something that should be provided by the management. For example, there is something wrong when you can't find a balance without asking for a lot of different restrictions for the competition. What we really need is "Ranked Matches" in the true sense of the word in pursuit of balance, and it should be "Casual Matches" that can implement the factors that are destroying games like SWF. I think what is needed is to add matching rules.
-
Hello, I remember the comment from the management that was displayed on the loading screen in the game during the 4th anniversary.
The killer's chase background music is louder because of Surviver. Very silly idea.
-
I was so curious that I actually tried to shine a flashlight in my own eyes, and it was glaring, but I could hear just fine. That's because the ears are not the eyes. Perhaps while being illuminated by a flashlight, you may not be able to smell, feel your skin, or even taste. Can this be trivia in the misty forest?
-
It's probably because they think it's unfair to make the footsteps inaudible so that the killer can track the survivor during the blindness.
I'm well aware that such biased view adjustments have been made many times. Sigh.

Postponed due to various reasons. It is not canceled, and the plan to implement it through PTB in a future major update has not changed.
-
In fact, in Japan, the PTB is called an unveiling party.
-
The following rules have been released for the map.
Group A: Haddonfield, McMillan Estate, Gideon Meat Plant, Yamaoka Estate, and Glave of Glenvale.
Group B: Coldwind Farm, Red Forest, Springwood, Silent Hill, Backwater Swamp.
Group C: Crotus Prenn Asylum, Ormond, Hawkins National Memorial Institute, Lery's Memorial Institute, Auto Haven Wreckers.
These groups will be determined by a preliminary drawing by the management.
Then, just before the start of the round, the team representatives will draw the map choices.
In the first round, the team that wins the lottery gets to choose the map, and the team that loses the lottery can decide whether they want to play the first half of that round in the Killer or Survivor camp.
Round 2 is the opposite.
The same map is used for the first and second halves of each round, but when the round changes, a different map must be chosen.
Also, there are two rounds for the preliminary rounds and three rounds for the finals only.
-
Thanks everyone! There are certainly some flaws present in the rules of this tournament, but I'm glad to see that there has been a somewhat positive response to the question of whether they should be applied to normal rituals.
The issue of the difference between rarity and strength is a bit of a new one, but I don't think it's a problem, since the number of killers that can compete with a decent VCPT is itself quite limited to begin with.
Also, the OoO issue is pretty serious, although the devs won't admit it. I too am now looking forward to seeing how many teams adopt it and fight against it.
The item rarity limit is not information that has been released at this time, and as TicTac said, without the item limit it would be survivor advantage without the addon.
And I think the idea of fixing the basement generation is brilliant! This rule probably won't be a problem for nurses and spirits since they will be banned early on.
Lastly, I forgot to mention the scoring calculation in the rules.
1pt per KiLL1
Additional 5 pts for annihilation
(=9 pts)The maximum points is
2715 points for 3 matches. -
How about the idea of removing the cap on earning Blood Points from all of these? All of the meme addons are ridiculous as you can make a decent amount of Blood Points not using these than you can with them.

I agree with that suggestion. It is not possible to stop a destructive state just by tapping it. However, I think we need to think more about the numbers.

3.3seconds
