Funny that, I thought the sheer hilarious amount of hooks was like walking into a forest whose blades of grass where made of rakes. Every step you take that's 10 rakes to the face.

Ruin: Toxic OP crutch that won't earn you any respect as a Killer, but if having fun at the expense of others is your thing go for it! just don't be surprised if you get a lot of disconnects out of protest.Rank 20 survivor main.
^clearly an npc's pre-programmed response.
No doubt selected from a very limited list of uninspired boringly predictable responses.
A bit sad really.

Ruin's strength is heavily dependent on the killer running it and the map it's on. Sure it's a newbie stomper but I'd say it's more of a giant pain in the ass than straight up OP.
When I see Ruin I just cant be bothered, all I see is that someones decided they wanted to pay to win with some miserable hex designed to detract from the games fun (especially for the current live event).
It's stuff like this that makes this game fail at it's most basic premise, a game must be fun, fair and balanced on all sides in order for for people to play it or they simply don't, and it ceases to be a game by again, failing at it's most basic premise.
Its right up there with Noed, I mean I have them both but I simply choose not to use them because I know how toxic they are and how little respect I'd earn from the Survivors if I used them. Treat your fellow opposition with respect by not using stuff that simply shouldn't be in the game and they will return said respect in kind ending in a match that's enjoyable for all.

On the subject of Lithe, I was thinking that + Quick and Quiet + Dance With Me (and Urban Evasion because it's pretty much a must have) would be a good build.
Burst into a Sprint immediately after running and jumping silently through a window making no scratch marks for 3 seconds while at sprint speed for that time.
Question is can I sacrifice Dark Sense and Paranoia for the build -.- both arguably just as important if not more so than Urban Evasion.
imo urban evasion should be a staple, not a perk but anyways. Yeah I'm liking Lithe, it just needs too many other perks to make it good.

Give us, survivors, the ability to hold pallets and throw them at the killer.
lmao that just sounds like fantastically amusing Charlie Chaplain levels of physical comedy XD

I don't actually use DS, I have far more useful perks for my survivors, DS is just a 'crutch' killers like to cry about, I mean really? just turn around and chase them again it's not that hard. (besides, chasing is fun!)Sure nerf DS but in exchange:
- Double the spacing between all hooks
- Half the amount of hooks there are already
Do that ^ and we have a deal.
It's all about compromise =D
Killers need to manage time well in order to even stand a chance - DS requires no skill and promotes lazy gameplay. It also consumes a lot of killer's time and does not reward him for doing well, but it rewards survivors for doing poorly - where is the logic in that may I ask?

I lost all faith in the dev team - they are very insecure to nerf DS, because they fear the negative feedback. Sad part is DS is one thing in the entire game that fuels toxicity and it seems devs do approve it. The perk itself requires no skill, and most DS users DC every time they are outplayed by the killer. This perk needs to be reworked because in it's current state it's just terrible for both sides. The list of toxic things killers have and do is so long I won't even bother to begin to list them. Come on man denial is an ugly thing.
If we want people to join, stay and invite their friends to dbd we should be working towards a fair and balanced game that is fun for all.

Hillarious. The crap Jeezus had to put up with omg

All killer is easy-mode with the exception of Freddy who is hard mode. Some of us enjoy hard mode, others prefer the crutch of an easy life. Not judging, is what it is.

Make the base wiggle free bar across the board for all survivors without any perks added the same as the % chance to de-hook yourself once hooked.
- If you got to 10% along the wiggle free bar that's a 10% chance to de-hook yourself.
- If you got to 50% along the wiggle free bar that's a 50% chance to de-hook yourself.
- If you got to 99.9% along the wiggle free bar that's a 99.9% chance to de-hook yourself.
Gives some incentive for the killer to get to the closest hook as possible (bearing in mind the closest one is usually as simple as taking 2 steps and whacking yourself in the face with a rake because there are about the same number of hooks as there are blades of grass)
Make killer fun again, take all the easy and the boring out and replace it with satisfaction for nuanced tactics successfully implemented.

I litterally cannot live without these 4 perks:

And heres another I've been experimenting with. I'm thinking of swapping in Lythe to work with Quick and Quiet and Dance With Me but I cant sacrafice Spine Chill or Urban Evasion. I'm a bit stumped.

I can't see what the Killer did before the hooking, but i this is all i can go on, i can say i'm way better at being an evil Killer.
Very rarely do i get the hatch near the downed Survivor, but when i do, i keep them on my shoulder for 10-12 seconds, letting them wiggle, giving them hope, then i hook them.Hey, i was instructed by the Entity to let i feed on their hope.
What more hope can i create in that situation than making it look like i'll let them live?I just know how hard survivors have it so when I do play killer I remember and feel bad. I therefore try hold back as much as possible by:
- Not going after people I've already hit / hooked in favor of others I haven't
- Keeping track of how many times I've hooked someone / how much "hook health" they have left so as to not take them out of the game.
- Leaving hooked survivors so they can be rescued and chased again unless I find another survivor that hasn't been hooked / hit in which case I go after them letting the other go.
I seem to get more enjoyment from the chase than the actual kill which just makes me feel bad.
There are so many ways to make the game enjoyable for everyone, I don't know I like that feel good feeling you get from making it a good game rather than a bitter miserable ordeal.

I have a good 20 or so Moris just sitting there taking up space, all of which I'll never use because of how toxic they are.
-
I think we need to go right back to the basics and make killers actually have to work for their kills, not just expect a hook to be well within their range, I mean because they are! Most of them are easily within arms
Currently if you get to 99.9999% wiggle bar it affords you nothing. Make it so however far along the wiggle free meter has progressed, say you get hooked at 50% progress you then have a 50% chance to wiggle free from the hook. Same as if you got to 98% you now have a 98% chance to escape from the hook.
This wouldn't be a perk, this would be the default build that effects everyone. And then boil over is not so useless after all.
