Sure Meg has a lot of cosmetics - and most of them are either just re-skins of the same cosmetic - or flat out ugly. Few of them don't make her look like a has been jock who gave up on life.
-
You go after Ruin because even though you can hit great skill checks you are probably grouped up with three other scrubs (boosted as you call them) who cannot.
At least check the immediate area you are in - it's embarrassing to finish a gen only to stumble over Ruin five steps away from where you were working.
-
They became killers.
-
It does force a stalemate especially if the killer just chases survivors off gens and does not commit to any chases. Then it comes down to whoever gets more bored first, but it is not subject to a ban to my knowledge. Another flaw with this game is since the killer can see gens, they can reliably setup this situation just about every game if this is their intention from the start.
-
This isn't really a serious competitive game no matter how badly some people like to believe. If people aren't having a good time or it looks like it is headed that way, they leave simple as that.
Now with dedicated servers, the interesting thing to watch is with all expected bans how low the player base may fall. More likely people will just run to the killer and suicide on first hook. So now kill vs survival rates will get skewed.
Least killers will have a better chance at the easy 4k's they want.
-
Yawn. Where are the real posts?
-
The thing I hate is when killer mains jump onto the survivor side then proceed to be just as toxic - sandbagging, hook farming, DCing, being toxic to the present killer so the killer thinks all survivors are toxic.

Just accept it, I did it since I hit 1k hours and bought a skin for 10€... Sad pepe

If you can't take being a killer, you should not be one. Don't expect survivors to be all friendly when you took the role of the enemy trying to kill them. It only takes a few toxic killers to make survivors want to hate all killers - true for the reverse. Made even worse cause there are four of them and one of you, meaning they are four times as likely to say something when tilted. Big reason people need to play both sides to a serious degree to get rid of this over inflated bias they have.
Killer is a thankless job. Just the way they made it to bring out the worse in people - so go ask the Entity for a hug.

Searching is way to risky. As killer you need to keep your momentum running. Searching someone without results might be the biggest reason to lose a game because the lack of pressure. Especially searching a Blendette with urban on a stealth map, not worth the effort.
That pretty much just says you want to tunnel. What do you do after you hook someome then - apparently not searching for someone else cause that is way too risky and loses momentum according to you. You wait for the unhook and rush back.
@xmenfanatic assessment is spot on.

The one you want is persecution complex. Martyr doesn't really fit.
But I also see survivors posting salt from killers from time to time. It's not one sided
Thanks I thought I was close but not quite there.

Another one of these - and how many times has he killed everyone in under 6 minutes?

You could just.. close the chat window and leave it permanently closed.
Would save you the sanity.
Then they would have nothing to post on the forums. Feels like many killers have a martyr complex or whatever.

Here's a tissue.
Now get back out there 'killer'.

Have you ever heard of a choosing beggar?
You forgot let me see what items they are bringing.

Cool story.
-
I would love this mode - but yeah, a lot would DC if they don't get to play killer and be in the 'power role'.
-
Does it also make a loud noise if cleansed - cause that might be important in certain situations which is one reason why hex totems are lit.
-
Sure nerf adrenaline - would they also get some sort of compensation if all the gens did not get done for running with just 3 perks the whole game?
@Buily09 has the right of it - there are so many weak perks. Of course only the ones that actually do something and help a survivor survive are the targets of killers who want them nerfed.
-
I can only speak for myself on taking a break and I haven't really touched the game in about...6 weeks. Probably more than a break at this point. I still like looking at the forums once in awhile though.
-
So you want a NOED that works before all the gens are done.

They would only refuse if this is what they consider a bad decision. If there s no risk, there s no reason to refuse a unhook.
You know how many people work, right? Total aholes they are who make bad decisions themselves all the time. Most all saves have some risk to them, I would go as far as saying the biggest risk is making saves. I can just see people refusing saves and wasting time if there is even the faintest sound of a heartbeat. Much like how some people always run from gens whenever they hear the slightest heartbeat.
-
Thanks for the life talk Dad.
-
Be nice if small game had a 'totems still remaining on map' counter buff, then it might actually be useful over just having map familiarity. One thing I know is I hate using it with hag, it is constant ding ding ding.

I'm raging about my team mates more than about the killer if it's the plagu. Because if they're cleansing themselve it's almost over for us -.-
That seems to be the problem with Plague - she is either 'weak' m1 killer or turns into an OP machine gunner that pretty much ends the survivors. There is no middle.
-
Even though the majority of survivor players are solo - there's not enough to fill all the queues of killers, since just about every killer will want the easier solo games. You also need solos to fill in the gaps of 2 and 3 people swf. Rough estimate - killers that queue for only solos will probably get half as many games in the same amount of time as they do now. The rest of it filled with waiting for lobbies. I will also bounce out of a lobby as soon as I join if I am the only survivor there, so I can help fill up another nearly full lobby.
-
Because even though I like the game, I would not wish it on my worst enemy much less a friend. That and I don't need to hear people stroking and joking through chat while I'm trying to get my vibe on.

I'm actually surprised backpacks aren't one. They seem to like them.
Indeed - they seem to like backpacks way too much. A lot of those cosmetics should come with an alternate 'no backpack' version - and they would still look awesome while giving more variety to purchase.
It just starts to looks ridiculous especially when you cannot help it and think too hard on wondering how are survivors vaulting through windows without getting caught up in them with all this crap on their back?
For the OP things like bunny feng would be possible, though I wonder why it is not really possible now what with all the backpacks, pickaxes, pizza boxes and what not hanging off models now.

@TrueKn1ghtmar3. Can't imagine how devs can say that suvivors' escape percent is about 40% when killers mains always says that when they play as survivors they escape not less than 75% of times. So survivor mains should be worse than killers playing as casual survivors.
All I know is when I see a known killer main in the lobby playing as a survivor (not all but most, like 80% of the ones I come across) - they tend to be the first ones downed and then DC or kill themselves on first hook. If they aren't then they likely will hook farm or be toxic toward other survivors - I will just dodge them when I see them.
-
I agree it should work in dying state, but I guess they wanted slugs to be easier to find. They are kind of difficult to locate as it is, but it could be an oversight.
Something should deaden the noise vs. plague - I think Calm Spirit would be a better candidate though. I know, it's already so OP.

I'm not a baby I can guarantee you that.
I know, that would be the joke. :)
-
I wouldn't dwell on it - maybe they hate the map or the killer chosen. There are people who take the game in various levels of seriousness, a lot of SWF just want to mess around and when they are either done with that or see that nothing is working out, they will just bounce for another try elsewhere looking for the thrill.

Well my number one rule is not to take advice about survivor from a killer, but here are some points...
1) Protect yourself from bbq procs unless you are good in a chase. Odds are someone else is going to get seen anyway. This is also why I laugh when killers say bbq/chili discourages camping, if anything it tells the killer when to camp. Special mention - If a survivor comes running up to a gen you are working when a proc goes off...wait the 4 seconds, then get the hell out of there. Two people near a gen? You can bet the killer's next stop is going to be you. Generally, you also don't want to cluster with other survivors at all, again a sure bet the next stop will be yours.
2) Agreed, don't kill other survivors by looping around them...if killer is on you get as much distance away from the hook that you can so someone else can make the save safely.
3) Try not to get seen moving in for a save. If you are or suspect highly you are -- see #2. Remember even if you cannot see them, you are still leaving scratch marks when you run. Keep that in mind when positioning yourself for a hook save.
4) If you do get slugged under the hook...crawl away far as you can and get out of sight of the hook. You should avoid getting grabbed off a hook though in the first place.
5) Tunneling is so easy to do and too effective in this game, that's why killers do it. Saving is almost an art and requires good timing. If you make the save, take some responsibility to protect the save - and that might require taking a hit. Try never to flee in the same direction as another survivor when the killer comes, split up.
6) If killer is camping teabag all you want and he's not moving? Do gens.
7) You can do corner gens - especially if they are unsafe, it is often best to get them out of the way early while the killer has three other distractions running around. Gens near exits should be low priority though. Try to identify clusters of 3 gens quickly and break them up. You might not want to finish a gen, then immediately run to the closest one and do that either - take a look around for other gen clusters, over time you will develop map awareness of where the gens are likely to be. You can use Deja Vu perk to help. In some cases, 99% a gen then doing another that is right next to it so you can pop both within seconds is a good strategy. Just don't leave a 99% gen unsupervised, long you may return to find the killer kicked and regressed it.
8) Not wasting pallets is good advice - you can put a limit per chase on how many pallets you will use. Mine is 2-3, after that if I have not lost the killer I consider taking a fall...away from the basement. If a pallet can save you from going into the basement, use it, then get away from that place. Number one rule should be don't get yourself hooked in the basement. If you are on death hook, well, do whatever you have to do, wasting pallets is still wasting killer time while a dead survivor does nothing.
9) Good to always try and wiggle free, but you can also use that to influence the killer too. If you have good timing you waste a bit of killer time moving to basement, then start wiggling and having him rethink his plan after he walked away from a much closer hook.
10) Self caring is okay - just remember that sometimes you need to act, and act now...not 20 seconds after you finish self caring.
11) Hook farmers suck and I laud any killer that punishes the hook farmer. Let the killer deal with it if he decides to ignore you, don't go rushing back to farm the farmer in front of the killer and give him a gg at the end cause he was sporting.
12) DCing is DCing...there's many reasons, maybe the guy just had six games in a row where he got tunneled and this was the last straw, whatever. Do not worry about killers putting you on a 'list' or any other blow hard threats they may have - likely they will try to kill you anyway on your meeting, right? So what does it really matter. He's going to try harder to kill you? Laughable.
13) This is risky and advanced strategy - acting as the diversion. If you are good in the chase, go for it, but I would not expose myself to risk immediately. You can see how the others survivors are doing and after time you will develop the sense of when you should 'step in' and either help waste killer time or take a hook for the team.
14) If you got nothing good to say in after chat...probably say nothing at all. Hope your next trial is better.

Um, you're welcome...baby killer.

Definitely agree! In a match, a Kate was stalked by Ghostface and downed. She DC'd instantly. This was 2 minutes into the match. I was like "YOU B*TCH!". Then another survivor went down and gave up on their first hook. Long story short, I got the hatch after the other person died. This was in red ranks btw. SMH!
There is definitely a domino effect in play if the first survivor DCs or suicides on first hook, the next has a higher probability of doing the same, and so on. For solos, if the first survivor checks out early - it's likely the remaining ones already did the math and decided if continuing is worth the time.
-
Usually the killer identity is given away in the first 60 seconds of the game anyway.
But seriously...BDSM trapper basement when?
-
Against nurse on most of those farm maps...corn is all you got for line of sight breaks and you need line of sight breaks vs. nurse.
-
I stopped reading after 'As a killer main'...
-
It's simple - in after game chat survivors tend to be cry babies and get it out of their system cause there is an echo chamber built in with other survivors present, but In forums killers tend to be the cry babies to get it out of their system.
-
That's ironic to me. I don't usually bring items into trials as a solo because I see it as a waste of an item most of the time. That and little killers get triggered all the time by items.
-
Not sure I understand the purpose of this post, it seems obvious why.
If they are in m1 range survivor is screwed anyway, so there isn't a question of predictability, it is a question of maximum efficiency. They might have a slim chance at a juke, but like was mentioned already if they are uninjured they won't want to waste their speed burst getting hit through a vault. If they are injured they won't want to just get grabbed either, or it is preferable to get downed on one side of the vault over the other. For instance, why would you vault back into a KS with a basement if you are just going to get downed closer to the basement?
-
Tunneling works because it is pretty damn easy to do in this game. If someone wants to spend half their slots on one shot perks that have requirements that are easy to foil, more power to them. This seems more like a combination a solo would use anyway.
-
Careful, killers are gonna DC on you.
-
But it hurts and you need to feel our pain! Kate's original scream was something, but the one that stands out to me today is Francis...that scream goes on forever. O_O

See I play both sides but when you try to have fun as killer the Survivors don't care at all and will still try to be toxic towards you, so they don't care about your enjoyment in general.
Let's be real, your enjoyment as a killer consists of murdering them by throwing them on hooks therefore eliminating them from the match - often times through whatever means necessary. I would not expect a clap on the back and 'gg' from most people.
-
Nobody knows...
As killer you have to wait awhile anyway - unless you are a blessed with a 4 man swf immediately. As survivor I never waited more than a few seconds to get in a lobby (pretty sure my longest wait ever was under two minutes) and if it isn't full, I can just bounce until I can help fill another lobby. Killers cannot do that, I guess that does not help killer waiting either. I don't know if there are less survivors, I only know I'm not even playing the game, going on a few weeks dry now. Much more fun to troll...I mean patrol the forums.
-
Well wasting that much of everyone's time is still a dick move.
Oh I forgot, it's only a dick move if a survivor wastes a killer's time.

Survivors not spacing out gens makes the killer a dick?
I don't know what else to call a doctor that spends 40+ minutes patrolling the last three gens and hitting survivors just once to chase them off, then immediately resumes patrolling.
