Theres already an instant 2.5%
-
its a very underrated perk. surprised i dont see it more.
-
They should rework UW so it doesnt tell you which survivor screamed + either has a much longer cooldown or works off something else
-
If the feature does literally anything other than save you from a facecamp, then its just plain handholding.
-
No. Pain resonance is designed in a way not to synergize with tunneling. This suggestion would be valid for old pain res, but not with the reworked version.
-
Absolutely not. No chance. never.

look what i wrote above you. it can have 3!!!
Really? thats absolutely absurd why is that not physically impossible bhvr ;-;
-
there should be a B tier regression perk avaliable at base for new players, nothing meta or anything but something to use while they unlock characters.
-
Extremely rare. I cant rememebr the last time I ran into a genuinely amazing swf. All SWF's have an advantage over soloq by default but it depends entirely on your synergy if its too strong.
-
Fogwise is perfect for soloQ. It'd be nice if it had a similar stacking effect to hyperfocus, but only increasing skill check frequency. But overall its not a very oppressive perk or anything.
Hyperfocus is mid on its own and can be strong with stakeout, but now that BNP's got reworked it rarely does that much.
-
The main building has too many god pallets and the map itself tends to be a bit big. 2 gens can spawn in main building which can set up for absolutely devastating 3gens.

You are saying to leave a gen 99? then survivors has to do 6 gens
against nurse blight etc you don't have time to do 6 gens
What? The strat is to leave the first gen 99d, do four more then instapop the last one. thats 5.
-
Calling nurse untouched is just dishonest. She used to have 3 blinks, 100% speed, op addons, more op addons, and blinks for basic attacks

Can he see the aura of his box?
no he can't. Theres an addon that does that but finding it won't trigger chain hunts.

the locker exploit is back

Anytime I see a post about filters or file manipulation, many players overflow your comment sections saying "accessibility" or "its only a small advantage" "bvhr allows it" "It's not a big deal". Where have you been?
Filters are not cheating. They dont provide any information that isnt already in the game. If making colors look different is cheating, is SWF cheating too? After all you are using a 3rd party program that grants a competitive advantage. I wouldn't agree with that but the logic is sound.

Now everyone gets to suffer on GoJ :D

yeah dude lets give lethal rush to trapper / myers / legion / hag / etc.
Or we could just increase their placement time and let trapper spawn with his traps. Or increase legions power duration and/or speed to get downs more consistently. Or remove the range falloff for stalking and increase the speed. It wouldnt fix them but they'd be far more viable. There are extremely clear issues with their kits that dont need a basekit perk to be solved.
-
Heres to hoping they did not just nerf the twins.

its far too inconsistent atm.
its not inconsistent, as far as I'm aware it just lags behind a little bit similar to killer instinct. unless theres a bug im unaware of

Hug tech was literally acknowledged by the developers to be a bug
it is a side effect of the way the developers programmed blight that was not intended and produces results opposite to what is expected, it is by definition a bug
Then by that definition cj techs are also bugs. It is intended for vaulted pallets to be unbreakable, however its not intended to be used to force a pickup over a break for a save. It is intended for blights LOS to affect his collision, but unintended to be able to look down and slide.

Hug tech was confirmed by the DBD team to be a bug. We are not going to stop calling it a bug, because it is a confirmed bug by the developers. Please stop abusing a known bug. Thanks.
That was how many years ago? If they actually intended to remove it I hardly think they'd wait this long.
-
Why? Every boon is either mediocre or downright bad now.

it's literally the objective of each opposing side, each one is a source of pressure. It's literally the fundementals of the game.
I'm sorry if I came off as rude. Yes hooking and unhooking are the core mechanics that drive dbd, however increasing hook timers and speeding unhooks would not fix anything you mentioned. I guess survivors could do gens more instead of being pulled away immediately for a save but then that just lessens the reward for a skilled play.
-
I understand the sentiment of giving long setup/ramp time killers corrupt for free but why don't we just fix the issues in their basekit that make corrupt a must pick?
-
Increasing hook times would not fix any of the things mentioned. Half of what was mentioned was also not an issue.
-
Can we stop calling hug tech a bug? Its as much a bug as a cj tech. They arent mistakes in the code or weird side effects of completely unrelated code. They are clever uses of existing game mechanics and the way their programmed. A cj tech just uses the fact that you cant break a pallet while its being vaulted to force a pickup. A hug tech just uses the fact that blights collision is programmed off LOS as well to slide off objects. I'd say hug tech is far more intended than cj techs are, considering they at least knowingly programmed for blight to have some slide.
side note: they just removed drop tech, unfair techs do get removed.
-
you realize you can see his footsteps through walls right? you dont need red stain when you have wallhacks.
-
I believe this addon only still exists as an accessibility tool for deaf players to play spirit. Though I'm sure theres gotta be a better way that can just be an optional feature, like visual directional sound.
-
oh god please no
I have trauma from that weekend...
-
As others have said it should be 165% based on the code. Feels way faster though considering the 3rd person pov and his small stature.
-
I don't think this concept works very well for nurse. She is the only killer in the game who is 100% reliant on her power. Limiting it could break her, especially in chase. On most maps, nurses only strength is her chase. her map mobility averages to around the same speed as a normal walking killer. Her insane chase potential is all that makes up for it, so forcing her to spread pressure and keep people injured all over the map just doesnt work. If we're nerfing nurse then it should be through adding counterplay and punishing misplays. Like bringing back lightburn and stun fatigue or smth idk.
-
- A god nurse (average nurses can be fun)
- A bad artist (the kind that is only capable of birding loops)
- Knight
-
Theres really not a reason to. I could see a few niche builds for it but overall sloppy is just better. Not to say sloppy is too strong or anything, but that gift of pain is trying to fill a niche thats already filled.
-
Its not exact or anything but the soloQ hud gets the job done. If the survivor's indicator is empty its generally safe to assume their going for unhook. Sadly thats almost never true because my soloQ teammates dont understand that standing around is not productive. I could stand a vague sticker system. For example you can choose between a few stickers that mean stuff like "committing to this gen" or "hell nah I aint saving you" to communicate the general concept of your plan.

The game has how many vaults again?
I would kill to replace half those pallets with vaults. There is so much more skill into vault looping than full LOS pallet loops. Which is pretty much the entire map...
-
Because they are the only viable regression perks for non m1 killers. I guess theres eruption but its kinda mid for the most part. Its a good thing that all meta regression perks take a hook or down for activation. At least you can outplay the regression by lasting longer in chase than the regression is worth. Not like my soloQ teammates know that.
-
Nah styptics are fine. They already stole some of its duration + it eats med kits. It doesnt feel good to play against but that doesnt make it inherently unbalanced.

If the killer is in stealth they do in fact NOT pause the timer.
that is quite the design flaw bhvr...
-
Trap timers pause when you are being chased. this is an edge case.
-
I absolutely hate how the devs have been handling stuff like 3 genning. Can they stop throwing basekit features at survivors to make their matches easier? Basekit BT was necessary. Anti camp is nice but camping was throwing the game against anyone with a brain. 3 genning isnt even an issue. If they just add another basekit feature to remove another strategy im so done.
-
Mostly just gen spawns. I would say they go a little too fast. If they added one more good slowdown perk with the same anti tunnel design as pain res then we'd be in a good spot. But then soloQ just suffers more.

I am saying it again.
There is no online game will ban you for using Discord. So DbD won't ban you either for that.
You can make countless posts about that but nothing will change.
Banning people for Discord is not gonna happen.
Most online games aren't built around a lack of information, and choosing not to use comms is competely voluntary. DBD is designed for limited info. Thats why there isnt a voice chat, a ping system or anything. I don't really want swfs banned for playing a team game with friends. But if they arent going to build the game around it then they are choosing to make their game wildly unbalanced.
-
SB and lithe are balanced, but people will complain about just about anything. There will always be player that won't be happy until the other side has 0 chance.
-
YES YES YES YES YES. I'm so done with coldwind existing. Let me use blue or green auras or something so I can actually see on that map. It'd be even better if I can change gen auras too, so I could actually see a survivor working on it without squinting.
-
If you asked me a month ago I would say he would look goofy... but chucky is in dbd now so I guess anythings possible. I'd buy it as long as scott doesnt get paid
-
literally just lost my 48 win streak to two blatant cheaters. somethings needs to be done.

MFT rewarded good players for being skilled in chase. Did nothing for bad players. And only stomped bad killers. Yet it was trashed.
Why is BHVR okay with catering to bad killer players, but bad survivors are always told to get good?
MFT crutch spotted.
-
Its almost like the current killer meta perks reward skill will regression. Perhaps, maybe, possibly, they get value because you're getting outplayed. This is the best, healthiest meta in a long time. At least now regression needs to be earned.
