that's the definition of shadownerf. If they would show 3%-15% and so, people could just time the difference, finding their shadownerfs. Using those words as reference, they can add as many changes as they please.
Yeah but people can easily check the game's files and see if changes are made.
-
That would be cool. Or have it be permanent as others have suggested.
While we're on the topic of perks hindered by too short timers.. can Hope please get a buff?! 2 minutes is not enough time. Most of the time I use it I don't even see the killer in those 2 minutes.

Idc about romance all that much. The devs hardly even mention it in the lore.
I haven't put really any thought at all into the characters' sexualities because to me it doesn't matter. I can see how it would matter to some though, especially younger people still struggling with their identities.
But that's not the same as saying "I like to think of them all as straight. " It's weird to me. I can't really put why into words, though.

I think the same thing. Keeps things simple.
That's not how the world works. And there's really nothing complicated about people having different sexualities.

@GHOSTfaceP3 said:
No he’s not in my eyes everyone in the game is straight lol
What a bizarre thing to say.
-
Rank is about to be meaningless anyway so I doubt they'll make too many more adjustments to emblems.
-
I think it's weird when people play killers and never use their powers. It's most common with Billy and Legion. I went up against a Hillbilly that not only didn't use his chainsaw to down survivors but he also didn't use it to get around the map.
I guess it's because they don't feel confident with their ability but you'll never learn it if you don't try.

I disagree. Ruin is too strong to be a regular perk, but too weak for a Hex perk.
This is where my idea comes in.
A Hex that affects all survivors' generator repair progress. All generators are affected by Hex: Ruin. While a generator is not being repaired by a survivor, it will immediately and automatically regress repair progress at 150%/175%/200% of the normal regression speed.
Once the related Hex totem is destroyed, Hex: Ruin will no longer regress generators automatically. You must damage generators to apply this effect towards generators.
Thanks to @NMCKE for the formatting.
This is what needs to be done. Sometimes the devs stick to things stubbornly and the idea that hex perks need to be all or nothing is one of them. I think some of the hex perks would benefit greatly from having effects that aren't tied to them being active, like Thrill of the Hunt and The Third Seal.
-
How many games did you play as killer and survivor?
-
I've been playing a lot more killer lately. I'm just kind of bored with survivor at the moment. Matches as survivor go from extremes. Either 3-4 escape easily or 0-1 make it out. There's not a lot of close matches where 2 live and 2 die, unfortunately. I mostly attribute that to the matchmaking being all over the place.

Lol I directed like, a 30% of that post towards you. The rest had to do with my opinion of second chance perks and how they are precieved in this game. I was at least on topic with my post, which is something you just admitted to not being, so again, what was your purpose for entering this thread?
Don't play the turtle on it's back game with me, you sit here and attack people directly and indirectly all day with impunity. You literally just accused me of rambling and trolling as if that's not an insult.
And to call it trolling? Lmao ok, you're obviously done here I get that, I wouldn't want to be accused of picking on you for being on topic and not letting you get another edged, derailing comment off. Have a good night, hope you grow up to be a wise, healthy man ✌🏿
Lol.
-
I corrected incorrect information in his post. Nowhere did I say anything anything about SF being a second chance perk. You then typed up a 5 paragraph essay rebutting something I never said. And now you're insulting me.
That's the actual play by play here. Find someone else to troll, please.

What I love about your idea supporting Spirit fury as a second chance perk is
A. In the scenario you describe where the survivors are dropping pallets early, this means that Spirit fury doesn't come into play then, does it?
B. If that's the case, it also means Spirit fury can't be considered a second chance perk, because say surv A drops pallets early against you, and you drop them after the required tokens are acheived, Surv B takes you to a pallet loop thinking they're safe with the pallet stun, then boom Spirit fury activated; well that's absolutely not a second chance because you were planning for that.
And there my friends is the inherent distinction between a second chance perk and an insurance perk; Second chances arise from scenario's that you can't control but a universal tool keeps you safe, where as insurance perks are banked on and planned on.
So for instance, the difference between DS and Adrenaline is with Adrenaline, you plan and invest on seeing that benefit at the end of the game one way or the other, if you died before then it wouldn't have mattered so you play it with intention. DS is a perk you may not even need to use depending on how the match unfolds, it punishes the killer for playing by creating an artificial rule he has to subject himself to, and there is no real way to counter the perk when it's active. But the really defining contrast is DS doesn't require anything on the survivor side, there is no investment other than adding the perk to a slot.
NOED also doesn't require the killer any investment for it to activate, so it would be considered a second chance perk EXCEPT remember what I said about being able to counter the perk? NOED will never even trigger if Survivors break all the totems. This means NOED is more of a late game gamble than an actual second chance perk. DS will always activate when a Survivor gets off the hook with it, that perk could never fall under the term useless because it's very existence means at best, you are invincible for 1 whole minute to be as reckless as you want, and at worst, you get slugged on the ground, which if you can dictate when the killer slugs, is actually a strong benefit to your team as the killer is gambling not advancing the hook state for a chance to snowball, and typically the risk isn't worth it if you aren't within earshot of another survivor.
Where did I say Spirit Fury is a second chance perk? ######### are you rambling about?

doesn't change the fact that it's a 2nd chance perk, the same as NOED for the end game.

It doesn't always pop? Also the majority of the time it does nothing because you're already healthy and don't need a speed boost?

A good survivor is not going to drop the pallet unless it's going to hit the Killer - lol why would I ever drop a pallet if it's not going to stun the killer 🤣🤣🤣
That's such nonsense. There's plenty of times it's a good idea to drop a pallet early. Funny you can't just admit you're wrong
-
@NullEXE said:
Lol NOED, Bloodwarden, Remember Me, Rancor, and all these perks are not "Second Chance Perks" they are "End Game Perks". Perks that make it so that you have barely a chance during EGC.
Killer has some perks that grant immunity but they have ridiculous conditions. Like Spirit Fury - You have to take 3 pallets to the head before you can break 1 pallet. When getting hit by 3 pallets could cost you 2-3 generators.
Other than that Killer has nothing but Perks they use to balance the game.
You don't need to get stunned by pallets for Spirit Fury to get tokens lol. How can blatantly wrong information get so many upvotes?

You can't ask for a nerf and not expect to put out a nerf equal to it for another side.
Actually you can, tho

Lol

That matchmaking isn't even bad. Do people expect the people they go up against to always be within 1-3 levels or something?

I play both sides and have done for a long, long time. However, it's quite funny when I'm called a killer or survivor main depending on what opinion I have with regards to anything specific from either side - despite the fact that I'm pretty unbiased as I understand the frustrations on both sides of the game.
You're a killivor main. The worst kind! 😅

That's one statement I don't get. Right now his ability to find survivors has become even more powerful. Sure, before all he had to do is walk around a bit slower but, excluding madness I, it took some time. Now he goes boom every now and then and everything is clear xD Don't get me wrong, I love his update, but I find it to be 100% buff. Nowadays Doc and Hag might be few Killers that can withstand gen speed pressure and do their thing, while stealth Killers, who need to take their sweet time, suffer.
I didn't say it was a nerf. It's less annoying to me, though. You can jump in a locker for 3 seconds instead of the entirety of the time you are in the doctor's radius. And as easy as static blast is to use it requires input and you can reset from tier 3 down to tier 1. You're not always seconds away from being back to tier 3 now
-
The fact that the Doctor can't simply walk around the map and passively find survivors with his static field makes him 1000 times less annoying IMO.
-
I don't like perks you can only use once and in very particular scenarios, so I rarely carry Unbreakable. The majority of the time I do not get slugged so the perk never comes in handy. Then half the time I do get to use it, it accomplishes very little because I'll go down again soon after. Once in a great while it'll save the day and those times are great, sure, but usually I just end up wishing I had equipped something else.
Same goes for DS, really.
-
BT is fine. I've noticed a pattern on the forums. One person will complain about something in a thread and then somebody else gets inspired to share their frustration/nerf idea and opens up another thread, etc, etc. It's a chain reaction thing. I wouldn't put too much stock in there suddenly being multiple calls for a nerf.

I can tell because they have NOED equipped.
