  • Myers and Pig. Most killers in the game seemed designed to be annoying. These 2 feel like they were legit made to be fun from both perspectives

  • So in other words same ######### different day? Was there ever a time when killers weren't tunneling?

  • No. Banning wont do anything. If they cant dc then they will screw around until they get hooked and then suicide immediately. Or go afk until they die.

  • Think of them as glorified advertisements. They dont share much of anything and dodge a lot of questions.

  • Legion is getting 'tweaks.' Oh Goody. So much for a legit rework to make him not be annoying.

You missed the part where people are saying a streamer has said they’ve been warned to calm down. Does anyone else get warnings before a ban? THAT is streamer privilege

The 'system' may be fair but that doesnt mean the people using it are.

  • No special treatment....so the devs dont invite people to their studi, dont make streamer specific cosmetics, dont give them special labels like fog whisperer, dont talk directly with them when they form depip groups....

Yep. Totally believable they get no privileges or special treatment. If they truly dont then you can see why people believe otherwise.

No worries about that, after all, we kinda all know who the "troublemakers" or i guess the "toxic" ones are.

Good point. I wont say anymore on it

  • Because those streamers are part of their marketing to help them make money. If you stream and a hundred or more people watch you can do pretty much what you want. The devs even admitted they were part of the marketing on a stream so they get all sorts of privileges, not just not being banned.

  • Hope they have some answers when they come back. Survviors are frustrated and keep dcing and killers sre frustrated and keep posting.

Removing their ability to vault quickly through windows and over pallets removes a big part of what makes the legion unique. As for revealing the location of other survivors, the legion's power is intended to be used to chase and injure multiple survivors, which is why the power meter refills each time you apply deep wound to a survivor and shows you where the other nearby survivors are. By removing those two abilities, you would be forcing the legion to chase just one survivor with their frenzy, which isn't very fun or skillful for either side.

It also removes several of the biggest complaints against him.

But oh well. Why have hope for change when there are cosmetics to buy.

  • 4 or 6. When I do play it is 2-3 rounds at most then move on. And thats shortly after taking a 3 month break. I main survivor.

  • In other words buyer beware.

Wonder when the rest of the 'frustrating' game play gets attention.

  • @Carpemortum This community only cares about toxicity, especially when it comes to creating it, though for them it is okay to act like that because someone 'deserves' it. As true as it is people here are hypocrites, TBH I think you are expecting too much out of this community, sad as that is. I also think we expect too much of the devs, said as that is too.

  • I havent been having fun with it for a while. At this point if I play I go 2-3 rounds at most then move on. The toxicity, the stale game mechanics, changes I dont particularly care for to the game- it adds up. I dont even think Ash is going to be much a difference maker as shocked as I am to write that.

  • The game has a problem with tunneling amd camping as is. Obsession encourages deliberaye screwing over of one person. I would rather it evovle to something else.

  • Maps and sabotaging gained a lot more bp making them useful

Trapper putting traps directly under hooked survivors

  • None listed. Haddonfield, meat plant, hospital would be my list.

  • I dont think survivors have enough progress bars. They need to spend more time standing still holding m1.

  • So your answer to crying survivors is crying about survivors?

    Good plan.

  • Why do they focus on skins more?

Because fools and their money are soon parted.

  • Was there a time it was worth it?

  • I guess we should just give up and never play again then.

Still, maybe other devs out thete see ideas like this and do something about it. Might be a pipe dream but I can hope

  • That actually could be fun. Maybe its a ball made of chains and spikes???

  • Devs arent responding probably because they have no clue how to fix what's wrong. The community agrees matchmaking blows, and right now the game isn't fun. Other than that killers ######### about x, survivors ######### about y, and if they choose something one side will get all pissy. There's nothing they can say that'll work. The damage they have done, and the damage the community has done seems to have reached a point of no return.

  • If it was leaked intentionally I doubt it was just to distract from current issues. I see it more as a way to drum up interest in them at pax.

Also I think the no stream is because they dont have answers for any of the current issues. Why inflame people more by saying they have no idea what to do that will make people happy or give a platitude of having ideas and a fix 'soon'?

Their streams always have been and always will be solely done for marketing and sales purposes. Expect the next one around the time they have content to sell.

  • Weird. Didnt save my comment.

No one has to justify dcing. Coming on here calling people names isnt going to stop them either. And they arent hypocrites because they dont report killer dcs- like with survivor ones the system already tracks it without need of a report.

@HavelmomDaS1 the reason that any match is not fun is solely because one side is way over-powered. Most games ensure that things like perks and addons have no major affect on the match, and more of something that is fun for everyone. This is not at all the case with DbD, as there are so many of each, that simply stacking them makes them OP.

The only possible fix would be to reduce the effects of all perks, and all addons across the board, and to normalize all of the killers. However, if this were to happen, the game would most likely die in less than 3 months. Thus the dilemma, what can be done? If the number of perks was reduced by combining perks into new perks, and reducing the effects of those perks, could over time fix the perk issue. Doing this over the course of 1-2 years, would be more tolerable to players.

Removing all forms of Moris (including Tombstones), firecrackers, fireworks, etc., should also be done. While they may seem innocent and fun, they are OP. Being able to use firecrackers to save a survivor who is being camped at an exit gate by a LF who is truly struggling, might be a laugh for the survivors, but it definitely isn’t for the LF. BTW, I was the one with the firecrackers, who unhooked the survivor, and we all got out.

This is a 4 vs 1. When there are 4 survivors, they should have the edge over the killer. When it drops to 3, they should be more equal. At 2, the killer should have all the power. This is how asymmetrical games should be, and anything that throws that balance off, needs to be fixed.

Been watching on here and steam forums for a while, and you are the first one I have agreed with completely. This is the fundamental issue that needs to be addressed, but too many on here and at BHVR who want the McDonalds approach of immediate gratification.
