no same, I dont mind ormond at all
You either go up against bad survivors or are top 1 percent killer. The former is probably the truth though. There are set-ups on Ormond that a good survivor can run a killer on one window for 2-3 minutes without even using a pallet. Ormond is a problem, I would know as both killer and survivor at rank 1 since I can usually hold a killer for at least 4 gens on Ormond and i'm really greedy with pallets but that is if they commit too long which good killer don't do. As killer, I sweat on Ormond more than any other map because survivors usually just predrop pallets against me and 3 gens will pop before the first chase is over. The map is too safe overall.

Well, I watch Umbra a lot recently and even if she loses as Huntress (aka not getting a 4K), she blames it on herself. And, I dont know how exactly the Map looked, but 4 Pallets in the middle is pretty decent, considering most of the time it has a max of 2 Pallets or is simply full of Tank Tracks.
And regarding Streamers opinions - I already said it in another post, Killer-biased Streamers are praised here. Like the complaints would perfectly fit to some man who gets posted here a lot.
To your second paragraph:
Optimal SWFs are rare. And you would have the same behavior is those 4 players would not be in an SWF. Because someone does not suddenly know that they have to do Gens when not in Chase when they are not on Comms. And I dont play a Top Tier-Killer, most of the time I play Pig (which has a build-in Slowdown, to be fair). Would probably not work against some ultra-competitive Squad, but those are not common, so its fine for me. Its not as Killers have to only play Spirit or Nurse to have a chance in Red Ranks, because most Survivors are not good (same for Killers).
(And if I can be at Rank 1 every season, many more players will be able to do that, because I am not a good Killer)
The Tournament will not change my mind. I cannot take tournaments seriously in DBD, they are for showing off, but not any valuable since DBD Is not a tournament game at all, RNG is a huge factor. And I also dont like that this tournament is only used for one side, but it is ignored how scummy the Killers played, but this is apparently fine.
In the end, the discussion about SWF is pointless anyway. It will not go away. And it will always be used by bad Killers as an excuse why they lost.
"4 pallets in the middle of gas heaven is nor decent or bad, It doesn't usually have a max of 2 pallets lmao. That being said, there were those pallets and then a hill and she was playing Plague. As I said, that was around the time she was buffed where she started with one Corrupt fountain by default and she had brought an apple as well which added another corrupt fountain. When she chased me, we had a good chase where one gen popped but as soon as she used her corrupt fountain which was in the middle of the map, there was nothing I could do since Autohaven maps in general are very strong for killers who depend on having line of sight with survivors like Huntress, Plague, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, Nurse ETC. This means that she had no right to complain about the map whether is was sarcastic or not.
At least use a streamer who takes both sides into account. Goose, Zubat, Scott, Otz ETC. are all great streamers who take into account both sides of the game. Zubat said himself a couple months ago when someone asked him why he doesn't SWF with his friends that he doesn't want games where one person is running the killer for 5 gens while the other 3 complete all the generators. He's right. In solo, you can usually find at least one weak link and get pressure off of them but when there's a SWF with each survivor having over 1k hours which is more common then you think, like I said, there's almost nothing you can do if you aren't playing a high tier killer.
Optimal SWF's aren't rare lmao. By the way, I literally told you earlier that I'm a survivor main but I do play my share of killer. Back to the topic, Optimal SWF's doesn't mean all 4 survivors are good at looping because the killer can usually just take a pallet and then rotate to apply pressure somewhere else. That being said, not every killer is like Spirit where she can be in one place and then halfway across the map within seconds. Old Billy was like that as well, Instant mobility accessible anytime, anywhere with a constant instadown. I only play Ghostface, I started playing in 2017 as a Myers main but when Ghostface came out, I've mained him at rank 1 since his release. It's the worst feeling playing on a map like Temple of Purgation, downing the first survivor pretty quickly, hooking them and then seeing 3 BBQ auras on separate corners of the map working on gens so that by the time I get to the closest one with my Pop Goes the Weasel, it pops along with the other two shortly after. It's apparent you may not run into this scenario very much but I do at rank 1 where I go up against SWF's with toolboxes, multiple BNP's and an object with map offerings.
I even have a comment on my profile from a SWF who took me to Coldwind with 2 BNPS who spawned together and popped a gen within the first minute of the game starting. At the end, where I got cucked by DS while not even tunneling twice, they said "ggez" and I replied saying "must be with that many BNP's and Prove thy Self" and they commented on my profile saying "Are you scared of BNP? Haha" This is the kind of stuff that needs to be looked at. Survivor in a SWF is easy mode with all the second chances survivors are given through perks. If all 4 of them run DS and Unbreakable, Each one of them are invincible if I hook them for a minute. It's ridiculous.
It's unfair to say only bad killers are screwed by SWF. Like it or not, the tourney was a perfect example of this. Most killers were forced to camp and tunnel because of the insane gen rush and the killers in the touney where in no way bad killers while especially in the first round, there were some bad teams of survivors who didn't even do basic things like looking behind them while being chased but they still ended up winning lmao.

Here is a clip of Umbra, which fits:

Wow.
A streamer who plays the game as a job is saying that SWF isn't an issue. Who would have thought? I've went up against Umbra many times as a solo que survivor and pretty recently (around when Deathslinger came out after she was buffed) I went up against her when she was playing Plague and we managed to get a 4 man escape. I went to her stream a little later to see the VOD and she was sarcastically blaming the map saying that we got Gas Heaven even though we were all solo que and got a terrible gas heaven spawn with just 4 pallets in the middle of the map around the main building and a bunch of T and L walls with single pallet gyms. We only had one jungle gym besides the Shack and she was sarcastically saying that she was "Outplayed" because borrowed time is a "fair perk"
The point is, she's just as much of a complainer and that her being a streamer means literally nothing. She is in no means a bad player but that's all the more reason not to take her word for a SWF being completely fair and I say that as a survivor main who plays killer as well. I'm a Ghostface main and have been since his release at rank 1 so I know what it's like going up against a 4 man who all stick on gens in opposite sides of the map and there's nothing I can do about it as a mid tier killer without high mobility. I don't care if maps were reduced in size a while back. The fact is that if you aren't playing a high tier killer, you have almost no chance against teams like this and before you say that those kinds of SWF's are rare, that is simply wrong. Sure, not all SWF's are a Death Squad but most SWF's at Rank 1 are efficient on gens and there's nothing a killer who isn't Nurse, Spirit, Oni, Hag ETC can do about it. Perfect example was the BOTB tournament which was just a Nurse and Spirit simulator. When Freddy or Pyramid Head was chosen they lost almost every single one of their matches, the only Huntress got demolished. Need I say more?

Case and point, here.
They're right though. I play Pyramid Head myself but it's dumb to say that him putting his sword in the ground is a mind game. You either keep looping the pallet and he cancels and gets the hit or you throw it down and he hits you while you're in animation lock with his M2. Mind game implies that you confused your opponent when this is just a hit either way unless the Pyramid Head misses. I agree one thing a survivor can do is run past the pallet and then quickly turn around and throw it down but an experienced PH respects until they're 100 percent sure that the survivor will keep running the tile. That's like calling Deathslinger spamming his ADS to gain distance a mind game. If you try to dodge, you get m1'nd, if you keep running straight, he gets a point blank shot. Not a mind game.

Agreed. Just made a post about this last night. It would be nice to reward players for reaching high devotion levels.

you might as well receive a gold trophy that says "I don't have a life".
It's not about not having a life lmao. For an example, DBD is the only game I play. I've tried other games but only enjoy DBD and it's been this way since 2017. Does this mean I've been playing all day every day for the last 3 years?
I think you know the answer.
Don't be ignorant.

The end doesn’t really justify the means to the scenario you present.
The Ultimate Prestige reward is a fantastic notion that should have been implemented long ago. The option to reset ALLLL lvls back to 1 just to get that desired prize is waay too gnarly a decision to put on players.
Taking into consideration that some players only play one side, it would have to be a 3 part cosmetic reward... one Super Prestige (or whatevs “DBDish” title devs give it) either a universal cosmetic, interchangeable between any character on each side (similar to the 4th Ani Crowns) or an individual skin for every survivor character; then one individual skin designed for every killer; and finally, (for players who P3 50 all characters on both sides) one Ultimate Prestige universal cosmetic or individual skin for each character.
The anniversary crown esque reward seems more feasible as devs wouldn’t have to keep designing new Super/Ultra Prestige skins for each future killer/survivor to enter the game.
Not sure if or how much Behaviour has touched upon this topic, nevertheless I’d love to have Super and Ultimate Prestige cosmetics/skins rewarded to everyone for all our passionate effort we’ve put into maxing everyone out!
Fair. Maybe not resetting every character back to level one based on the feedback I've been getting from this post but I was thinking they create a new legacy type cosmetic for this purpose since the person receiving it obviously deserves it for overcoming the grind but I'm not too sure. Maybe old legacy or create legacy for the newer characters who are original?

@MrLimonka said:
That would be the most masochistic thing you could do in the game. If you did prestige III all characters, you should get a reward without resetting anything, because that's a huge accomplishment in itself.
If you got a reward for resetting however, then I think it should be the option to get one free purple outfit for each character (excluding the licensed ones), auric cells or lots of iridescent shards..
Purple outfit? Like a recolor you mean or a legacy-type purple cosmetic?

So, suicide simulator? Sure, I guess. I don't prestige unless I like a cosmetic, so I have no problem with making an account prestige for people that want it, but that's the most genuinely severe masochistic thing I have ever seen someone post on DBD. It will literally make people quit playing, unless they keep literally everything but perks, items and add-ons. And even then, most people will forget the sheer and absolute grind, account prestige, and quit because F that in the A with a stick of barbed wire.
In fact, I can guarantee that even you don't know how bad the grind is, given that you've clearly been playing for years and didn't have that absolute MOUNTAIN on BP standing before you and what you currently have.
Yes, that's what I meant. You would keep everything besides perks, items and addons just as if you regularly prestiged. Did you think I meant they would lose cosmetics too?

I'd like to know as well. I'm sick of getting hit through windows and pallets because of the killers bad connection,
-
I used to be a PS4 player back in 2017 and was until the end of last year when I finally switched to PC. Although both platforms have good and bad players, console survivors and killers are usually much worse in my experiences. This isn't an insult, I'm pretty sure it's due to the difference in controls and that console has a more casual playerbase. That being said though, since crossplay went live, I'm usually the only PC survivor in my lobbies and the console teammates I'm being matched up with have been really potato.
-
I used to think of Zarina as forgettable but I've started to play her a lot recently after p3ing her and even bought 3 of her outfits and I actually find her really cool. I actually went ahead and read her lore carefully and I think she's pretty interesting.
-
Jake cuz I relate to his lore where he wanted to find his own path instead of doing what his father tried to impose upon him. I also look similar to him and he was my first survivor.
-
Jake on PS4
Steve and Ghostface on PC
-
Iron Will. Great for looping and opens up so many opportunities to juke the killer!
-
I logged on 20 minutes ago and my DBD wasn't launching. After a while, after trying everything, I uninstalled the game to try and reinstall it since that usually fixes launch problems and now I can't even reinstall it! I have so much time and progress on DBD and own all the DLC's with countless cosmetics. Am I screwed?
-
Steve and Quentin for survivor. Steve cuz I love Stranger Things and he's been my favorite character since 2016 and Quentin because I love the Elm Street movies (although the original one's are way better than the remake) and because not many people play him.
For killer I main Ghostface for pretty much the same reasons. I grew up as a huge fan of the slasher genre and Ghostface and Myers are my favorite slashers.
-
So many issues after the patch. This is one of the worst patches in terms of bugs. Old bugs have still not been resolved and new bugs have come up as well. Aura's are messed up for some reason and idk if it's just me but I've been getting hit through windows like everyone was before the window vault fixes. Devs, please fix these issues. These bugs are getting out of hand and I've been playing since 2017. I literally don't even want to touch survivor anymore and killer isn't that much better because of all these bugs.

Op is talking about how often gf comes up and is boring to face him.
Read better next time, loon
Okay? First of all it's Ghostface. No one should find the need to complain about him since he's quite weak. Second of all, what do you guys want the Devs to do? Delete Ghostface from the game? What a pointless post, loon.
-
As a Ghostface main at rank 1, you really shouldn't be complaining. You can literally bring Spine Chill and Sprint Burst which are two of his biggest counters and are also perks that can generally help against every killer. Not only that but you can counter him by just looking around being alert at all times and loop him normally since he's still an M1 killer. If you are stalked and aren't confident in your ability to loop, throw pallets down early and make distance.
Imagine complaining about Ghostface when Spirit, Nurse, Oni, Deathslinger ETC are in the game lol.
-
Ghostface and Freddy are staying my mains for sure. I've loved the Elm Street and Scream as well as the Halloween movies far before I started playing DBD. I bought the game in the first place for Michael Myers in fact but after adding Ghostface, I started playing Michael less. As for Freddy, I loved old Freddy even though he was quite weak and even though he's very strong now to the point where most of the community dislikes him, I'm still sticking with him.
-
Anyone have any links to the video where this occurred?
-
Jake and Cheryl
-
I second this. For the sake of the health of this game, changes need to be made and all the bugs need to be fixed. We don't need a graphics update, we don't need to release new legendary skins, we need to fix the state of the game.
-
Ah, now I see why my teammates and killers have been muppets towards me today. I literally bought the skin as soon as it came out and although I agree she isn't done properly it's really immature and lame to tunnel and mori someone because of a cosmetic they bought.
-
Hatchet hit boxes are too oversized. At least make the hatchet fit it's hitbox so we know where to dodge because atm it's so unfun to play agaisnt huntress

Me of course xD

Same issue on my end. It started a few days ago and seems to only happen at night time.

Yeah, I think it's been happening to me as well. Getting 160+ ping every lobby and same things been happening to everyone else in the lobby.
