Keep dreaming, that buff is most likely never coming. It all comes down to the data and killrates, never common sense. Bhvr would rather look at what a graph says instead of what the community says when it comes to anything, unless it effects the pocketbook or enough outcry "cough" Streetwise "cough" nothing will be changed in a reasonable timeframe.

With Marvel,DC,Spawn, and The Boys being on the latest survey i imagine we will have a comic book IP coming within 2027. Spawn has appeared in other franchies like COD and Soulcalibur but DBD and Disney have already worked together with Alien so i would count out Marvel. I would rather have Spawn though because Spawn is awesome and it would give Keith David another chance to voice the iconic Antihero.

The games got enough crap going on for me to care about wins or losses. Either way i'm just gonna end the match angry about something. I really gotta take a break from the game soon.

i think its just the artificial need to make things bigger and badder and to top what came before. The problem is that the older stuff just never gets looked at by BHVR to compensate so things seem lopsided. The most recent example being Huntress-Springtrap-Jason. A natural evolution of powercreep, where one is replaced by the new hotness that makes money and the old stuff now seems unreliable and not worth spending dev time updating, and thats why Huntress besides getting a new skin wont ever get any major change because the new hotness Springtrap came out and then the cycle repeats with Jason.

Instead of giving him a unique chase power he has a throwing weapon that you have to sometimes extract the object from your person like the last killer who released same time last year… recycle much BHVR?

Goes to show how much BHVR truely "cares" about us when the reward we get for playing the game as a whole community is one rift level and pocket change bloodpoints.

few weeks is far too generous. Felt like it took almost a year for them to make Glitchtraps footsteps audible.

Garbage Map Design, Garbage Tutorial, Garbage MMR. All it will take is one game (Not made by Gun Media or Illfonic) one major game to compete to give BHVR a kick in the ass and say they are not as good as they think.

BHVR never keeps new players because of thier god awful tutorial, they will make one for the Black Banquet but not update the tutorial for the regular game. All new survivor players are thrown to the wolves and BHVR dont care because of the skins they will buy before quitting.

I dont have a problem with the portals or the invisibility morsels, its the unbreakable pallets one i find to be a bit too egregious. If you get that one on a map like Gideons you pretty much just have to accept that you just lost the chase and there is nothing you can do about it. Or at shack where if shack pallet is down, you also just lose the chase and the survivor just gets to go away for free. I play Lich so i can deal with it. Heres a tip for Lich players Vorpal Sword Mage Hand cancels out survivors vaulting the unbreakable pallet, but for the unlucky M1 player they get to have a very bad time unfortunantly.

i ask myself that too, but Lich is quite literally a die roll killer I swear some games are just doomed to fail as Lich. I load in and get eaten by a chest, but I play Lich and get a comp Ace who rolls the Hand and spends the entire match getting in my face and perfectly playing around with the Hand. That thing made me crash out and go mentally unstable that I adopted a "no Hand, no Problem" policy where I'll never allow a Hand user to escape.
Then dont chase the Ace. Getting your attention is what he wants. Got three other survivors to go after.

I hate how his kit has such a big emphasis on a projectile. Just feels like an offbrand jason. I wanted him to be more like old Myers where he grew stronger over the coarse of the trial. Hell i would have been fine with a friday the the 13th game copypaste.

BHVR could just try making the whole game fun for both sides……..but nope just coast off of Jason and put off changing the game for the better.

Most perks being bad is the reason we are in this stale and boring meta. There has been no innovation being done recently by BHVR to encourage using different builds because nothings being changed to a measurable degree. In 2024 if felt like we were getting buffs to killers and perks every so often which was fine compared to know which feels very dry. We are in desperate need of big changes because things right now suck harder than a vacuum cleaner.

Gonna put on my tinfoil hat on for this comment, but alot of comic book ip's on the survey. Makes me wonder if they really want a comic book killer or they already have one and are easing us into it with this survey. Spawn for the win btw.
Also dead rising is on the survey and i will climb mount everest with no winter gear out of sheer joy if we get Frank West in this game. -
the game sure as hell didnt gain its reputation overnight. Its a tilting game which means people will start flaming each other about 60% of the time. Thankfully us console people dont have to worry about end game chat.

DBD has the worst map design in pvp gaming history. Coming from a guy who has played games like Rainbow six siege, and cod mw2019 DBD takes the cake for having the worst maps ever in gaming. Picadilly from mw2019 and reworked Hereford Base from R6 are BETTER and those maps are absolute trash.
Artist should have not gotten the diablo 4 lilith skin. She does not have the playerbase to warrant that good of a skin. Sorry artist mains.
Skull Merchant 2.0 was not bad to face and endless complaigning got her overnerfed. There i said it. Hang me from the gallows likes its the French Revolution if that comment makes you upset.
I dont like Jason having a big emphasis on a ranged attack, as a big fan of the friday films i wish he was more of a unga bunga teleporting goblin mode killer. Yes i know he sometimes chucked stuff at people but about 95% of his kills are up close.
Hillbilly should be the best killer in the game and should overthrow Blight and Nurse as top killer.

Whats the point of making the Offerings more difficult to get? Do you not want players to be able to earn bloodpoints faster with them?

Why use Fire Up when you can just use Bam and brutal to get the same effects at the start of the game? Legit no reason to use fire up after Diminishing Returns and there is no reason to use it by itself.

Rework all the maps, almost none of them are good. Maybe then we wouldnt have to worry about killswitching two of them like right now.

I've talked about the licenses i want alot so i'll talk about two that i have not mentioned and i am certain will never come to the game.
Knull or the King In Black is a more recent Marvel Character (Introduced in 2019 i believe) but i would love for him as a killer, he a godly being with control over darkness and created the Symbiote race along with his cool weapon All Black the Necro Sword. He would have to be nerfed heavily as he scales pretty high and famously ripped The Sentry in half when Knull arrived on earth, and if you know how powerful The Sentry is you know that is not something to scoff at. But being realistic if Marvel were to ever come the game Venom/Carnage would make more sense and would sell like hotcakes.
Now for my second pick Dagoth Ur from Elder Scrolls more specificly ES 3 Morrowind. He is not exactly a clean fit for the game but i dont really care scream "not enough horror" at me from the rooftops If this somehow offends you. His powerset would be unique as he is a mage but has enough to distinguish himself from Vecna, via the Heart of Lorkhan and his ability to create Ash Vampires and implant dreams into peoples minds. Maybe you could have the Heart of Lorkhan in the trial somewhere and you have to go find the Tools of Kagrenac and attack the heart just like you do in the game.

there is truely unique killer powers anymore, its just a massive recycling plant of high mobility/Antiloop/ ranged projectile. Dracula is the definition of recycled, you put Pyramid head, Spirit, and a splash of blight and get dracula.

It wont change until another game company makes a good enough product to force BHVR to listen. we will still have the abhorent maps, stale meta, and busted perks until someone can beat DBD at its own game.

Weskers too popular to be killswitched for too long. He obviously came back from his previous killswitch too quickly, every time i've gone against him after he came back from his killswitch i've gotten hit through window vaults or pallet vaults that he should have triggered a vault instead of a survivor hit.

BHVR deconfirmed Pennywise on twitter, so i guess we will never see him in the game ever.

I dont get why you guys kept the new survivor a secret and included their perks on the latest PTB, why include the perks at all if the survivor is not ready to revealed? Even more confusing if this upcoming patch is only including Jason and nothing else.

Freddy, at least Myers was perfect character wise for awhile even if he was d tier. Freddy has been reworked twice and still only feels like a parody, doesnt help its his remake version. Tbh the next license we will lose will be him, no cosmetics for him or his survivor, its been ten years since his release i imagine BHVR is getting tired of paying for him and will most likely be gone in a year or two as more IP's will be added.

Just nerf her in general. I'm tired of killer perks being balanced around her because she is too strong, its annoying that the rest of the killer cast suffers because BHVR just lets her broken.

If this was change was to occur they would just make her ambush slower and take longer to charge or something stupid like that. They do compensation nerfs alot "cough" "Springtrap" "cough" "Shape"

Given the last two maps we got, im not at all hyped for another new map even if it is crystal lake or crystal lake related.

Every single map in this game is trash. I have developed a hatred for these maps to such a degree where i'm not mad at survivors or killers i'm just mad at the map i spawn in on.

Billy. Going against a skilled billy is a pleasent experience. I also commend their willpower for sticking with him through that terrible overheat rework.

If the game gets any more complex, we will have to start doing calculus to get a damn perk to work.

We are WAY beyond Perk bloat. Thats why Five Moves Ahead exists even though Windows does pretty much the same thing, they are running out of ideas for perks so they make perks that are a carbon copy of another perk but with a little bonus added to it. They either lack the courage and creativity to make up new ideas or they are just fine with most of the new ones being mediocre and keeping the meta stale.

I think they nailed the teleportation aspect of Jason, but i have mixed feelings on the projectile. I just wish Jason was just the big unga bunga character who gets angry over time and just starts tearing up pallets and walls by just walking through them, sure he probably wouldnt be that good but he would be more fun to play imo. Everyone is always saying something about pallets and Jason not being the guy who can just eat them faster then bubba or myers when he enters a enraged state feels like a missed opportunity. I'll still play him when he comes out but i just feel like they kinda dropped the ball going with the projectile.

I will say this, Jason is my favorite slasher of all time right next to Michael. If I wake up on tuesday and look at the PTB and find out Jason has a uninspired dash of any kind, i will quit DBD and never post on this forum again no ifs ands or buts. One slasher already got character assassinated and made into dashslop, i will not stand for another.

DBD with splitscreen Subway Surfers at the same time is what we need to save the game, maybe instagram reels too while we are at it.
