Serious question here, is this a troll post?

Okay, good for you? All you've proven is that you're an exceptional person at Bubba, so? Most of your post hasn't provided any useful information to the discussion other than bragging.
If games are balanced towards top players of every character the game ceases to be enjoyable to the majority of players. An exceptionally good player who mains at X will always exist. My skeptism against your claim absent messed up MMR and getting lucky with survivor spawn locations notwithstanding.
Your logic is basically saying "Steve Hawkins is an exceptional physicist. This is unfair to other industries that didn't produce exceptional people. We should nerf all physics programs and ruin the lives of the rest of the physicists so that Steve Hawkins can only be as good as other industry experts in their field." or "All physicists must be measured against Steve Hawkins as standard or they're trash and deserve to have their opinions be belittled by me."
You don't need to be remotely exceptional to easily win with this strategy though, I've introduced it to tens of people and all have easily picked it up and effortlessly won games. You should try it yourself

DCing because you don't like going against something isn't a valid reason to DC. Especially when the majority of DC's are because people get outplayed, and not because of what they are going against. Mori's can be avoided before even getting into game, and most of the maps are find aside from ones like Disturbed Ward and Mother's Dwelling.
I think it's a pretty common, consistent opinion that playing vs Spirit, some Freddy builds, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head (could literally be made fine with one tweak), Clown is extremely unfun to play vs. Everyone says it but it needs to be said more, why are they nerfing Billy who was balanced perfectly and way better to go vs than all of these. I guess most are subjective, but Spirit is just ######### stupid and desperately needs some change. Still way quicker to DC vs a mori than alt+f4, also if it's a cypress/shroud of separation it can be a good idea to play and then dc if the killer decides to first hook mori someone. I think you understate how many problematic maps there are, maps like Badham (actually will be fixed though), Ormond, Fractured Cowshed, Haddonfield, Midwich, Hawkins in addition to those you listed are also pretty stupid and ones I'd DC on as killer (the first 3 being stupidly survivor sided, Midwich being fairly survivor sided and boring as #########, Hawkins being killer sided but boring as ######### by design), that makes up 7/35 maps after the patch, on avg 1/5 games is either gonna be boring as ######### or you can atleast DC (personally with DC penalties enabled I just facecamp on those maps if they bring an offering, and I actually just facecamp on Midwich as it's pretty much the optimal strategy since it's impossible to traverse, I'm sure the survivors would rather I just DC in these games anyway)
-
Would be ideal if this ordeal and the amount of complaints result in DC penalties being permanently scrapped once bots are introduced, would improve the game for everyone - Either that, or they could work on fixing the things that consistently make people DC, I just can't advocate against DC penalties when things like moris, certain killers and certain maps exist in their current state

Yes, you can. Especially against a camper.
>nevermind the 70 it'd take to cleanse all 5 totems and the 10s more it'd take to find them all.
You're assuming that your'e soloing totems. If only one person on the entire team is looking for totems, that's a problem with the team. Even with randoms at mid-high ranks.
>Someone just trying to unhook themselves once massively [BAD WORD] their team and can give you the win right there.
This is a brown and yellow rank problem and occassionally green.
>If you think you can or should cleanse 5 totems vs a facecamping Bubba, you are either trolling or have virtually no experience in playing as or against this
I'm a rank 5 survivor with 400 hours under my belt. Cleasning all totems is literally how you delete the 4th perk from a NOED user. Analyzing which perks your opponent is running is litearlly part of the game. If you think the survivor game play is just gen rush = win then you're the one who's not learning the game.
Also, acknowledge that not everygame is going to be a 4 escape. Likewise, killers should understnad not everygame should be 4k. If you define a "win" as not a single death DBD is not the right game for you.

I'm a rank 1 facecamping Bubba main with 1600 hours who does this all the time, top 30 on the dbd leaderboards for downs with Bubba's chainsaw. I define only 4ks as wins because I 4k more than 90% of my games, even facecamping, if my win goal was any less I'd literally win every game. I don't define a survivor win as a 4 man escape as 4 man escapes are more infrequent for me and it's extremely easy for a camping killer to deny one. You literally do not have the time to cleanse 5 totems without giving Bubba a guaranteed easy 4k, hell, even if he didn't have NOED, the gens just don't go fast enough to get any escapes if he gets his first down in 30 seconds, and that's if you touch 0 totems.
This is a brown and yellow rank problem and occassionally green.
By the way you use rank as a measure of skill, and the fact you only have 400 hours (and you state you're rank 5 like it's even a remote achievement??? I've seen people with 50h in rank 1) - I'm gonna guess you're a bad/inexperienced player who has no idea what he's talking about here.
You're assuming that your'e soloing totems. If only one person on the entire team is looking for totems, that's a problem with the team. Even with randoms at mid-high ranks.
Also in regards to the above, doesn't matter how many people are looking for totems, 14x5 is still 70 seconds (nearly an entire generator! which don't go fast enough to beat bubba anyway in most cases) - and map traversal is still a thing, even if you can be a bit more efficient if on comms (if you think you can reliably cleanse all 5 totems most games outside of a 4 man, either the killer was total dogshit or you're trolling)

Then I ain’t arguing with someone who doesn’t know how to play the game yet I’m sorry 😂
I facecamp regularly at rank 1 and easily maintain it, with hundreds of hours camping as bubba - shown here - http://prntscr.com/u706a4 | I've 4k'd more than 50 games in a row doing this strategy. I am fully aware on how to do this strategy effectively, and I will confidently tell you it is very easy to play around the new tantrum, and I have never once ever tantrummed by revving the saw for too long, nor have I ever come close/had any issues with this mechanic

@BeyondDisbelief said:
I literally see nothing wrong with 2k. In 100 matches if it averages out to 2k I'd say its a perfectly balanced game.
Also, the coutner to NOED is to clear totems, not gen rush. You can afford the 20 seconds.
Yes, Kindred is a legitimate resposne to camping. Anytime you run a full match with no one running Kindred or some other killer tracking perk it's your fault. The game isn't about everyone running DS/UB/BT/DH to make any kind of interaction miserable.

he has no choice in the matter if he is revving his chainsaw to camp as you run at the hook and back revving to not sprint at you until you unhook he will tantrum But like are you saying you know this stuff cuz you do all this?
yes, I do this and that's how I know. The bar does not increase when you're not holding M2, and drains really fast when the saw isn't charging, it is extremely easy to manage the saw in this situation

If he tantrums or uses all charges he can’t chainsaw them and at that point if he still chases them down he isn’t camping anymore he is tunneling and that’s a whole different topic I’m just saying with the new changes it’s much easier to get a rescue now cuz he can’t hold saw forever he will have to either chainsaw sprint at you so be ready for that or straight up tantrum losing all stacks
if he tantrums or used all charges somehow when camping, he ######### up insanely bad. I main this ######### and I've never had this issue bar vs SB. You still literally cannot rescue vs this playstyle if the killer has half a braincell

''and the post game chat and steam comments make it fulfilling. You mention loneliness - but I'd actually say camping is a super social thing for me''
Thank you for proving all my points about you.
It's sad that there are humans like you who enjoy doing these things. Hiding behind words like memes can't disguise the fact that your life needs reevaluating, knowing your playstyle I'm willing to bet your friends (if you still have any) don't like playing with you.
Feel free to laugh at this like you enjoy reading all the comments on Steam.

Do you find joy in ruining the fun for others?
Is your life intensely vapid and miserable that ''winning'' is your only source of happiness for you?
Do you find yourself terribly alone that you go for the negative reactions from others as a means of silencing that loneliness?
Do you find joy in ruining the fun for others?
I think the post game chat is ######### hilarious and it's a good meme, yes - I'd also say Corrupt/Pop Freddy, Stridor Spirit, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, and anyone with a mori are even more unfun to go vs this, albeit while it's subjective, I've found a lot of people I have camped and asked about this agree and actually say they had more fun vs me than this kind of game. Do you think they are ruining the fun for others by playing 'boring' killers? I certainly don't have fun going vs that #########.
Is your life intensely vapid and miserable that ''winning'' is your only source of happiness for you?
I can win just as easily and frequently as anyone else, it's just higher effort, I don't do it to win, I just find it overpowered because you can win just as consistently with little effort.
Do you find yourself terribly alone that you go for the negative reactions from others as a means of silencing that loneliness?
I think insidious bubba is the funniest meme in dbd and the post game chat and steam comments make it fulfilling. You mention loneliness - but I'd actually say camping is a super social thing for me. I've met a number of great twitch streamers who I still regularly watch and have befriended from facecamping them and having a laugh, aswell as the fact I pretty much never camp by myself, but usually in a discord call screensharing where it's pretty chill, funny and we can laugh over the postgame chat.
Can't say I think your takes on the way I play are any good, but I can understand where they come from. You seem like the kind of guy who gets upset by tbagging/flashlight clicking I imagine though.

What you do is run bt and force him to rev too much where he tantrums then you get the save while he has no charges
Irrespective of the fact it’s pretty much impossible to make a bubba tantrum with fakes, he can two tap through BT now anyway, even has enough time through DH, so the unhooked guy has to have sprint burst or he is dead
-
As a facecamping bubba main with ~4k chainsaw downs, which is top 30 on the dbd.onteh.net.au leaderboards, I wholeheartedly agree with this post and have 4k’d (excluding hatch) >50 games in a row at one stage with this strategy. I’ve even beat coordinated premades with thousands of hours who actually tried to do gens - If you get the first down early enough (actually worked better with old bubba in a way as everyone greeded vs him) - the gens just don’t go fast enough, and NOED has zero counterplay.
2k is pretty much the minimum like you said, I only consider 4ks excluding key/last man hatch escapes wins though. 1k is insanely rare and would only happen if the survivors played super well/safe and you didn’t get your first down until you’d lost 3 gens, plus they’re a 4 man. I’ve never 0k’d doing this for obvious reasons.
My personal build is BBQ (points, since I 4k of games, and good aura reading when it’s a 1v3/the gens are done), Bamboozle (best chase perk), Insidious (tbh I just run this for the memes, I’d run monitor for practicality perhaps), NOED (unfair dumb perk, no counterplay to it with this strategy when the counterplay as hard enough in general)

Possible Solutions:
-Borrowed Time
-Giving the killer player a death threat
-Run Kindred. It won't save you, but at least it gives your team a benefit as long as you are camped.
And that's all I can come up with. But why is the killer player living in the past? Camping with Bubba is an outdated strategy.
bubba can counter BT with insidious and even if he doesn’t, he can two tap through BT with the chainsaw now

I don't really mind such beginner Perks existing.
I would like it better though if those beginner Perks are always the general Perks, and the "better" Perks are Teachables.
You'd present the beginner Perks to the beginners without needing to invest in specific characters to unlock them, and once you're comfortable, you can start exploring characters for those "better" Perks.
Agree, the perks themselves like Zanshin, Visionary are fine - the problem is they are essentially locked behind a paywall, and even then if you do buy the DLC rather than unlock the character with shards, you're likely enough gonna be past the point of needing the perk anyway.
That comes with personal experience, as someone who was recommended Windows of Opportunity when I was new and dogshit at survivor, then didn't need it by the time I actually managed to unlock it
-
Can confirm, this is consistent and can be replicated 100% of the time
-
I've not noticed a single difference, even tested with a 300 ping VPN for science, still getting the same total bullshit hits
-
I have no issue going against SWF, vast majority of them are not very good anyway and still an easy win. Can be frustrating if they all stack DS+Unbreakable though/bring a bad map offering though, but SWF is nowhere near as horrible a problems as maps, keys, moris, some killers to me

I'm just here to take notes on who claims it's okay to for a killer to DC because they don't like a map in case I see their names pop up in other threads saying that there's never a reason for a survivor to DC
As one of those, I also DC as survivor, iri head and doctor who brought a game offering is always an insta DC, mori is usually a DC if I'm not 4 man, Spirit/Pyramid Head/Deathslinger are occasional DCs depending on my mood (usually I don't DC on the first, but if I face these killers consecutively I will start DCing, I can take one unfun as fun match, not gonna keep playing if it's multiple in a row though - Clown probably also applies to this portion as he is boring as #########) and Freddy is an occasional DC mostly dependant on the build.
Pretty much everything that makes me DC is fixable (obnoxious unfun bad maps, poorly designed unfun killers/addons/offerings) so if BHVR fix the unfun stuff in the game (like making Freddy require some skill, rebalancing moris, changing maps like Mother's Dwelling, Badham, Haddonfield, Ormond, making PH have a cooldown coming out of his M2 so he doesn't have 100% guaranteed hits with zero counterplay, etc.) then there will be a lot less DCs and facecamping killers/first hook suicides I imagine.

You really think badham and yamaoka are survivor sided? Some Badham layouts are considered killer sided by many and the new Yamaoka version is definitly also not survivor sided.
Don't think Yamaoka is, just think it's boring as #########. I absolutely think all Badhams are very survivor sided though, everyone just runs to the obnoxiously strong buildings, house of pain is ridiculous, school is horrible, the two story house is horrible, and those are all guaranteed to have gens in them which you cannot protect. Gens are usually placed nearby one of these buildings too at the very minimum.
-
Absolutely. I DC on Mother's Dwelling, any Badham, Haddonfield The Game & Midwich, sometimes Ormond too. When DC penalties are back I will just AFK, hopefully the hackers keep doing their thing though, best thing that's happened to the game this year

I think the bug is apex muffler is basically basekit. The chainsaw is often always silent, both to survs and killer, even during a normal chainsaw sprint without the addon
-
I reroll Trapper and Spirit (hate playing as them), and survivor, do anything else
-
Hard to pick one so I feel I have to list two here.
Soloqueue experience.
Just as being in a 4 man puts you in a much more advantageous position, being a solo survivor is the most miserable experience in the game. Buff the info solo survs get, hard. Let them know whenever someone is healing, on a gen, in a chase. This + the better earlygame for killer (which was a mentioned plan months ago) + further map tweaks to make the maps better (maps like ormond, fractured cowshed, mother's dwelling are still absurdly strong for survivor) would hopefully take the game towards a more consistent, balanced, enjoyable experience overall
Additionally; changes to perks. We should see 10+ perks tweaked at minimum per patch, the current state of perks is a stale meta of stacking slowdown/second chance, with no other viable options as most other perks are way too niche/weak, and the good perks have way too strong synergy on survivor.

I would say at least 75% of my matches at rank 1 are 3-4k's. Only reason there are 3's is because of hatch which is basically a 4k though.
Now this may seem high, but there are some things to keep in mind. Not only is matchmaking terrible now, but it has been for ages. As well as having messed up ranking and a broken derank system, meaning LOTS of survivors at high ranks that have absolutely no reason for being there.
My point is that with all these issues we've had for a very long time it means even at rank 1 we are being put against a lot of other "red ranks" that aren't really red ranks and are more like green or lower if we're being honest.
This is a good example of why kill stats are near completely worthless in terms of measuring balance.
I'd say I'm around the 80-90%% 4k range and I agree it's mostly on matchmaking and I will still be comfortably destroyed by a well coordinated good team, this happening about once a month I'd say. All it takes is one weaker player and the game is really difficult to win for survivors.
When people say rank doesn't matter, what they really mean is you only have to be hypothetically in a top percentile to get to purple/red ranks, that being purple/red rank doesn't actually make you good, therefore you cannot point to your rank as a measure to state you are good. We could even say this group of players is something like 40% of the active playerbase. This means I could hypothetically be in the top 5-10% of player skill, but that then 75% of games I am matched with inferior players and win without much trouble, the extreme examples being the occasional 50h baby who has zero idea what they are doing and hit rank 2 because they play with friends who are decent.
I also totally agree with your take kill rates, and a lot of data in general being irrelevant to balance, personally I think you can only reliably go off of gameplay experience & the eye test. From the November 2019 data, even in exclusively red ranks, Nurse and Huntress were in the bottom 4 killers and had lower killrates than Legion. Yet they are undeniably far better and neither of these killers need any buff whatsoever.

PTB should almost certainly be on the 25th. 3 weeks before the 15th of September, which is the day level 4 of the archives releases (and as patterns have shown, level 4 releases the day after the chapter itself)

-5.28 m/s movement speed
-6 second duration
-Vaults pallets without breaking them
-3 second fatigue no matter what

-Takes 4 hits to down
-Legion was 110
New Bubba:
-5.29 m/s max movement speed
-2 second dash per charge, 6 seconds total
-Instantly shreds dropped pallets on contact
-Only incurs a lengthy fatigue if you bump into something
-4 second cooldown per charge, 12 seconds total
-Always instadowns
-Bubba is 115
With the exception of actually having to rev it, Bubba's new saw is literally just an all-around better version of old Feral Frenzy. You know, the thing that broke the game so hard that they had to gut the Killer as damage control?
And before anyone tries to tell me, "But Bubba can't fast vault windows so he's balanced!" There's this crazy little thing called Bamboozle that prevents the Survivors from using the window entirely. I suggest you try it.
Seriously, when at a loop against a Bubba with Bamboozle, you have two options: Go down, or let him chainsaw the pallet and then go down. It's absolutely insane. He is old Legion on steroids and I don't understand how people don't realize this.
While I don't see Bubba as being that same level of bad, I can definitely see where you are coming from, one of the problems with balancing is how ######### good bamboozle is on Bubba. It's like Pop on Freddy or Stridor on Spirit tier, but it's not base, so how do you balance around it? Without bambam, you can abuse Bubba just fine and he is forced to M1 you. With it, you either need a really good setup (ideally lots of T+L walls), or the Bubba to be bad. It's pretty map dependant overall, I'm wondering what proposed changes you'd make though.
-
This also applies in similar to the 'Iridescent Brick' - which now says it takes 2 seconds to activate instead of 5 from the PTB, but still functions as 5 seconds in the live build.

Honestly bully teams that don't spend much time on gens are the best survivors to get. All too busy pulling fancy tricks and trying techs n flashlight saves to actually win. Everyone gets a bunch of bp and you get to feel good about a 4k.
This. Whenever I see a flashlight in my game, I am happy, they are a killer sided item. If you see 4, it's usually a guaranteed win. They're so easy to play around and the games are usually fun, the survivors are usually playing to have fun aswell and make the game last longer. My favourite kind of squad to go against.
I recently went against a streamer 'Ayrun' as Hillbilly on Ormond as they were a 4 man all named Justice for Billy, I don't play Billy whatsoever and suck with him, but I still got like 9 hooks and 3 kills playing chainsaw only cause they actually want to interact with the killer, go for flashlight saves etc, rather than just playing optimally and destroying me. Probably the most fun game I've played in a while and AFAIK they all had fun too.
-
One thing to consider is the fact we know DC penalties will be back soon. I'm personally, and I feel many others are taking full advantage of the fact we get the temporary luxury of not having to face Spirit/Deathslinger/Pyramid Head or play on Ormond/Midwich/Haddonfield, as it'll inevitably be gone for good again soon. Also the fact they added two of the four most unfun killers to go against and the worst map ever, to many, after adding the DC penalties will probably result in more DCs than previously.
When I get Midwich, the worst map in the game by far, and I know I'll only be able to DC a guaranteed unfun experience for likely up to 10 more days, I'll absolutely take advantage of it.
I see it similar as a child having a toy, but partially neglecting it. You take the toy away and they really want it back, and when they get it back, they give it more attention. I've been seeing way more DCs since the removal of the penalties than before them.

Generally, since Legion every single killer is bad designed but with oni being the expection.
Spirit - unfun to go against and bad designed (at least strong tho)
Legion - unfun to go against and weak (mid tier at best)
Deathslinger - unfun to go against and mid tier at best
Plague - unfun to go against and mid tier killer
Ghostface - unfun to go against but at least kinda strong ish
Pyramidhead - unfun to against
New Freddy - unfun to against but at least super strong
Like idk, devs are creating so bad designed killers...
Back then: Billy fun, nurse fun, Myers fun, Huntress fun and then it kept going down hill. They are losing ideas and since they force themselves to create 4 new killers every year there is just bullshit created.
What makes Demo unfun to go against and mid tier? I'd say he's the 2nd most fun to go against after Billy and low A-high B tier. His power isn't uncounterable and he actually has mindgames to it with risks for both sides, aswell as a pretty fair traversal mechanic with counterplay and decision making
Edit: nevermind, somehow I read deathslinger as demogorgon

Legion was already weak to begin with, it was just that players abused his power. Basically nothing changed.
Nurse was far too strong, and is still the most powerful killer. Basically nothing changed.
Billy had infinite power, that was changed. Hes still A-tier. Basically nothing changed.
But cause were here to complain, that wouldnt fit in well, if you have to look at the reality.
I agree with the first two really, I think Legion and Nurse are both pretty much fine, Legion could do with some more QoL tweaks such as not losing your power after an m1 attack anymore.
While I pretty much agree with 2/3 of your reasoning and your point, I think current PTB Billy is C tier personally and I've even seen a few tournament level survivor players calling him D tier. I think he's genuinely been gutted.

Flashlights aren't really a problem for me, those guys only got 2 off - one after one of them dropped a pallet and then blinded me which wasn't a big deal since I just broke the pallet and pressed W since the layout gave him only one way to get clear of me but the 2nd time I got flashed was right at the end, after I picked the guy that was down in order to hook him. They didn't even seem to be near me, I think one of them actually used DH to get into position to do it.
Problem was that they timed it all so well that not only did they manage to somehow blind me from nowhere but at the same time I got flashed, the last guy was near the hooked one and got him down and then they all ran out because the door happened to be next to us (it was on a winter map, with a central house and lots of pallets and windows around (also, multiple floors). I even think they chose that map via offering.
I do need to learn when to break off chases and I think a lot of my lost games were due to chasing the better player on the survivor side, who baited me into chasing him. By the time I caught him or gave up the chase, they were already 1 or 2 gens already done and could more easily snowball from there.
How do you fake picking someone up? isn't the action non-interruptible once you press the button? can you cancel it?
That map is probably the best survivor map (It's called Ormond) but yeah I also should've mentioned learning when to slug is another important thing (typically if you can initiate a chase extremely fast afterwards, or if there's multiple people hooked/downed near eachother, as this makes their recovery harder.) From the way you describe it that does sound like a decently coordinated squad though.
It's always good to chase the weak link, you can usually tell in 3-5 seconds whether someone is good or not
To fake picking someone up, you generally just run up to them and then let go of W, this can often bait survivors to move out, or at the very least make them second guess whether you'll commit to the anim. Some killers have powers like Demogorgon placing a portal, Trapper placing a trap, Hag placing a trap whos powers put them into animations. These animation changes can also trick survivors into thinking you will commit to the pickup.

I just noticed that one screenshot posted here was from console - am I to understand that DbD has cross-platform play? come to think of it, I think I did see an option referencing something like this but didn't pay much attention to it..I think it was a box that it asked me to tick. How does that even work? console usually has auto-aim in order to compensate for PC players (for games with crossplay) which usually results in console players getting a big advantage in games.
I am also not hardstuck anywhere, I'm pretty sure I could easily climb even in my current situation, without the best perks unlocked, by simply making better decisions in game in regards to who to chase, where to be on the map, what to ignore and learning to better read the environment/ learn the map.
I'm not missing pallet hits, quite the contrary, I get most of them in even if I get stunned but like another poster said, combined with all the other ways of escaping and the multiple escape perks that survivors have - it's just too much when there are 4 ppl trying to loop you around, using flashlights, perks AND add-ons to harass you. It feels like the killers don't get that many options in terms of movement and the killers that are considered top tier are the ones that have movement enhancing abilities included in their base kit (nurse, billy, freddy). Maybe this should be looked into, in order to bring the other killers more in-line.
When you have 3 health states, bleed state, self-heals, received healing AND perks and addons that help with healing + auto-heal under certain circumstances (like DS, etc) - I think healing is actually an issue. I wasn't talking about it being an issue at top tier level of play because I haven't reached that yet, but it is an issue at MY level of play, which is where most of the people are atm.
Debating this under bad faith with probably a survivor main also doesn't help things, as ppl tend to not want to lose their perceived power (be it in a videogame or irl). Usually, it's the bad players that struggled to reach the top and are bad at adapting to change that are also averse to things changing, since they're not sure if they can gain their status once more. I've seen this especially in WoW, with fotm comps that come and go as the game gets balanced after a big content patch so seeing these sort of opinions here doesn't surprise me.
In closing, I did have a much larger post with some more suggestions but after I edited it to correct a spelling error, it said that it went for approval or something and I haven't seen it since. I'm not saying my suggestions were the best and I did write this thread when I was hella pissed about that ######### game I had, but disproving my points by saying they're bad because I'm new and then proceeding to talk down to me is the sort of gate-keeping attitude that will eventually kill this game, like it did many others before it (if this is an attitude shared by a great many of this game's top players, that is). Elitism is a disease.

Firstly, DBD does not yet have crossplay but will soon. To address your takes of autoaim, this is active on every platform (including PC) and cannot be turned off. The purpose of it is to try and make hits look visually better by adjusting your camera when the game has decided you were going to get the hit, but what this can do when you're swinging around a corner is adjust your camera so you instead hit terrain. It's really stupid.
Based on these takes, I think your problem should be with the power of survivor second chance perks, which is an actual issue (I am a killer main btw, not a survivor main as you guessed below, I do play both sides but like 2/3 of the time killer) - Your solutions are too punishing to people who don't run meta perks, what you want to encourage is making them mandatory essentially (we don't need to encourage less perk diversity even more). Survivor item addons do nothing other than the medkit ones, which are used like 1 in every 50 games in my experience. I'd also suggest you maybe need to learn when to drop chase (generally when a survivor is an extremely strong structure, or if you cannot get a hit/pallet out of them after 10-15 seconds. Remember, pallets are finite, getting a pallet out a survivor is still good value) Flashlights are EASILY the weakest survivor item and once you learn to play around them, you will have a much easier time. Flashlights are actually genereally detrimental as everyone who has one will prioritise attempting to flashlight save (very easy to avoid these by looking at walls, or bait free hits by faking the pickup) rather than doing generators. DS/BT are played around by not going for the unhooked guy/slugging them if there is no BT, although in instances these perk can be unfair if the player with BT/DS active is super aggressive.
Also people have been saying this game is dying/will die for a while now, but the playercount just keeps going up. I'll stand by this 'elitism' - as from experience, and having the same kind of complaints that you did when I was newer, you need atleast **300-500h** before you have a better understanding of the game. I don't intend to be condescending and looking back definitely did come off harsh, but as aforementioned, inexperienced players making balance suggestions is frequent (as I also did so myself) but their takes are pretty much always poor

I just wrote a large reply to someone where I expanded on my suggestions and see that it's no longer here so not sure what happened to it but regardless, unless you can substantiate the "Your suggestions for the game are also truly terrible, but that's just because you are new" with anything else other than that statement in itself, I for one wouldn't bother saying anything tbh.
It's like taking part in a debate and trying to combat your opponent by saying "nO, uR wRoNg LuL!!1"
'Pallets are OP and their spawn should be diminished - balance this by better loops for the survivors or add an element of skill to looping (other than looking back) to even it out.'
No they are not, looping is fairly skillful, mainly at maze tiles, but better loops for the survivors is a terrible suggestion. Take the map 'The Game' - this map just has safe pallets, but that's it, when you're out, gg. None of these pallets take skill to use, there are no mindgames, it's a boring as ######### map. The actual interactive way to balance the game is to have more pallets, but make them unsafe (meaning the killer can play around them and do actual mindgames) - your implication of less, but stronger pallets just makes for dull gameplay. The actual fun in the game is chase interaction, mindgames, etc - these things you suggest take away from that.
'Alternatively make killed lunges register better and/ or give more control to the killer when turning.'
If you get spun you are probably a bad player, there is easily enough control and infact because of latency, the killer can often swing and the survivor takes a hit while dropping a pallet when they probably shouldn't have. There is no need to change killer lunges, the only issue with them is the 'aim dressing' (autoaim) which makes you hit wood sometimes.
'Lessen the healing capabilities of survivors and make investing in it a decision in itself - generally, make the game more strategic and less "run around constantly cuz we can heal anything lul".'
Healing itself IS already an investment, a lot of people choose not to heal and stay injured because it wastes a lot of time (16 seconds per full heal) - in what is essentially a time management game, taking two players from doing gens and committing to a 16s heal which can either be interrupted, or require you to go to a safer area, is already a risk. You should try running sloppy butcher, a perk you can unlock on all killers, if you find people healing to be an issue.
'add another layer to escaping, not just power the gens/ open the gate; maybe give an option to hurt the killer if he gets outplayed and even win the game by killing him or sending him back via a high risk/ high reward mechanics.'
You already outplay the killer by running tiles effectively, maybe when you are utilising the 'OP pallets'. I don't see how this 'killing the killer' mechanic is interesting, fun, balanceable or why it would need to be added. It's a change for the sake of change suggestion, and unless you have any ideas for these mechanics, I don't see how you can take this as a decent idea.
'It's like taking part in a debate and trying to combat your opponent by saying "nO, uR wRoNg LuL!!1"'
I can accept this is a fair statement, but I disagree with this and I think it is fair to automatically dismiss suggestions by people who are stuck in rank 15/have less than atleast a few hundred hours or so. There are already so many dogshit suggestions by new/bad players who have no idea what they're doing about balance that you just can't take it seriously. Experience in the game is extremely necesary to understand it. Any competent player will laugh off your suggestions the way I did, and if you do choose to invest time into this game and get good, I guarantee you will yourself.

While your points about the matchmaking valid, the whole flashlight scenario sounds like something that was completely your fault and could be combatted with more experience, as are most of these things. Your suggestions for the game are also truly terrible, but that's just because you are new. They are implementing a new MMR system (which I do think will not really do anything) but in general queues are just atrocious right now. Even as the game hit its peak playercount EVER the other day - you had to wait for 3-5mins for a survivor match and 5-10 mins for a killer match in EU at red ranks. Somehow the queues are worse than usual, even with a growing playercount (which should theoretically be a lot of new players) - yet we can see hardly any new players play survivor because of the queueing issue // they rank up too quickly as it takes no skill to rank up, just hours played. To be honest, a lot of the time a yellow/green killer is probably on the same level as red rank survivors, but then there are ofc times when this isn't the case and the current system does not separate this atall. You can have a 50h player in rank 1, or a 5000h player

DS easily, Dead Hard is pretty eh unless you are greeding a lot. DS is maybe the best survivor perk in the game.

@Peanits I felt the tag here was necessary cause the odds are so drastically low (it seems avg 1-2 items per 1mil BP), I think we atleast need a clarification as to whether this is intended or not

Dude, at around 21 seconds in your video, did your friend just say "That's so effing AIDs" ? If so,that's gross man. Is this a new saying?? What's wrong with people!
Not new whatsoever, somewhere between 10-15 years old I reckon

The sound occlusion is absolutely horrible in this game, particularly noticeable on Haddonfield/Badham. It's probably just that

This is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED WITH SPIRIT, and it's pissing me off.
WAIT for counterplay to be developed (generally takes about a month) BEFORE complaining.
I render your point invalid until then.
pretty bad example considering stridor spirit doesn't have any counterplay

You say killers like every killer is playing PH. There's one killer than can counter DS and BT. He's far from op and countering DS isn't that big of a deal. Less and less people have been using it recently anyways. If BHVR doesn't release killers and perks that will shake up the meta the game will get old and stale. ######### think my guy
Countering DS is literally the most powerful thing in the game for killer, games with no obsessions are absolutely free wins if you play optimally and the most unfun and unhealthy thing there is for survivors. DS is the best survivor perk in the game, BT is in the top 10 easily.

Awwwwww.... can't fall back on the classic Decisive Strike crutch anymore?
What a shame...
Yeah such a crutch when you are caged and he is immediately running to the cage and just camping you/tunneling you as he arrives as soon as you are uncaged. Such fun and interactive gameplay.
If it's a 'crutch' to be able to play the game after the first time you go down against the new killer, then I think the game is in an extremely unhealthy state and we need some sort of basekit anti-tunneling mechanic.
