It still is for us
Has the hotfix launched on your console yet? Check the news(in-game on main menu). It should read Hotfix 3.2.1. If not, it hasn't launched on PS4 yet.
Edited because I forgot something.

Communication shouldn't be banned. That would leave an ENTIRE audience of consumers completely dry. If they have an official discord ( a third-party whitelisted communication program primarily used on PC,) I doubt anything will change. Leaving an entire audience of consumers behind is just a bad business model. I don't think these changes should happen, and even if it came to it, I doubt they will ever happen.
EDIT:Made some changes to prove what I was saying.
-
Really easy rank one. Like... really easy.
-
You can adjust your sensitivity in settings. Have you tried that?
-
1-2 business days on average, fastest reply I've gotten was within five or so hours. I think.
-
This shouldn't be an issue anymore due to the latest hot fix.
-
Slugging will save you a lot of trouble, and if you're smart enough, you can bait out survivors while waiting for the timer to end. But you should know that slugging is a risky business- since repairing a generator takes 80 seconds on one's own, you should only do it if you feel as if it is absolutely necessary.
-
I love Head On. Been using it since the launch of DOTF, and everything Peanits has said is absolutely true. But here's what I get out of it; you can get saves with it (with a LOT of practice). This usually tends to only work (at least, in my experience) in SWF.
-
The point of it is to make the trip to basement risky, and 16 seconds is more than reasonable considering the various perks survivor have at their utility. If the survivors do take hits, it leaves that survivor in a vulnerable status. There's no wasted effort; just missed opportunities.
It ruins the point of the struggle being so pointless. and its a good mechanic the hope of freedom from hard struggling to pointless wasted effort .
Not to mention, getting to hooks is relatively easy from my experience, and if a survivor got off my shoulder, it's my fault. By no means should hitting a survivor extend the wiggle time or pause it, since that's a perk already. If you feel like you're having issues with body-blocking, I suggest running Mad-Grit. It seems like it will solve most of your problems, based on my interpretation of what you said.

Soap is often called a blurred and not clear image in the game due to some effects. I am surprised that someone does not know this.
I’m not exactly too familiar with graphics and stuff.
Simply put, not the brightest when it comes to this subject.

100% agree with all of that. Jane's ponytail is perfect, her hair is voluminous with a nice wave to it. Every time I see Kate's I can't help but think the same thing-- how would this look down? Now don't get me wrong, Kate could definitely pull off a bob. But not so much a thin straight, as you said choppy, one. No no no.
Kate could pull a straight up shaved head and work it. But her hair is supposed to be long, and the ponytail doesn’t seem to be getting the memo. Jane’s hair serves a great example of what the hair in game should be like— especially on characters who are known to have luscious, curly hair that they care for.

So the new hotfix was just released and the anti-aliasing for the low quality setting I ######### hate. This is why I am hoping to get extra graphics settings in the future because I ######### hate how the game looks so blurry which is the first reason and I'm pretty sure one of the main reasons people run low quality, to get the game brighter, less shadows, and less anti-aliasing. In my opinion I would reverse this and wait until we could ACTUALLY CHANGE our anti-aliasing to either on or off.
Hey, I know you!
I don’t think anti-aliasing is a big deal to me personally since I play on Ultra. You can use external whitelisted programs to modify your graphics as you see fit. Yet, no one seems to acknowledge that.
-
Can someone please explain to me what Soap is? I’m confused.

Nope.
Question: Doesn't Switch come with the Hag, Doctor, Huntress and Clown chapters?
So just Xbox and PlayStation editions + Curtain Call?
-
She looks like an egg with that hair. It just needs a fix in general.
EDIT: The reason why I say this is because Kate normally has decently long hair, but even if that’s the case there’s too little of it on her head when it comes to that hair. The ponytail should be a bit curly and longer, and fuller. Jane’s ponytail sets a pretty good example. I’d run it more if the hair was fuller. It looks like if she put her hair down (by the way it looks) would make it look more like a choppy bob. Correct me if I’m wrong.
-
None of them really. I’m pretty happy with the variety of perks I have. I don’t really play meta, I just play to have fun. So playing different killers (even if they are weak) is something that’s fun for me, personally.

It will work if the person saving the hooked person isn't in dream world
Yeah, I just got confirmation about it. :) Edited my former comment about it.
So to answer the question at hand, IF the survivor is asleep (hence oblivious), Borrowed Time will not work. However, if the rescuing survivor is awake, it will work.
-
@Mr_K said:
Unlike killer, survivors have many good perks to choose from. Not seeing one perk doesn't make it bad. Example, Iron Will.
Not all perks are intended to be meta. Some cater to different playstyles.
Also, I believe that BT will still work, since the hooked survivor can hear Freddy’s Terror Radius since they’re awake.
EDIT: The previous info (in regards to BT), is incorrect. According to Peanits— it’s all about whether or not the RESCUING survivor hears the terror radius. Hence, if the rescuing survivor is oblivious, Borrowed Time will NOT activate.

PLANNED ETA

BALANCE
- The Demogorgon's Shred special ability now breaks pallets by default. Because of this change, we have re-worked the Red Moss add-on. Please see the changes below.
- Reworked The Demogorgon's Red Moss add-on: Previously, with the Red Moss add-on, The Demogorgon could break pallets using Shred - now this is a default effect of Shred. The new Red Moss add-on reads as follows: Tremendously increases the duration of the Undetectable status effect applied to The Demogorgon when emerging from a portal (for a total of 10 seconds). Tremendously decreases power recovery speed of traversing the Upside Down (recovery now takes 24 seconds).
- The perk Surge now grants the Destruction score event for each affected generator.
- The perk Second Wind will now display the progress towards activating the perk.
- Adjusted the matchmaking logic so that Survive With Friends groups are matched using the highest rank of all players in the group (instead of the average). The 3.2.0 patch introduced an issue that caused Survive With Friends group matchmaking to be skewed towards Rank 20, which is also fixed with this change.
BUG FIXES
- Enabled Temporal Anti-Aliasing in Low settings. This will reduce most artifacts along object edges, and improve the hair's visual quality.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Trapper's bear trap auras to appear open until getting within close proximity of the trap.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Pig to have a faster carrying speed than other Killers.
- Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause The Hillbilly's chainsaw sprint movement speed to change to walking speed.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Hillbilly's camera to jolt in whichever direction input was given when chainsaw sprinting into objects.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Huntress' head shadow to look unnatural when attacking.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Doctor's head not to appear in auras.
- Fixed an issue that caused Survivors auras to be blocked by The Nightmare's Dream Pallets.
- Fixed an issue that caused the stinger audio cue to play twice when Killers started moving.
- Tentatively fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash when the Dying Light perk reached 5 or 6 tokens.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Second Wind perk to activate under incorrect conditions.
- Fixed an issue that allowed Survivors to use Sprint Burst when coming out of a locker after having successfully stunning the Killer with Head On.
- Fixed an issue that caused pallet and vault auras to be white instead of yellow when using the Windows of Opportunity perk.
- Fixed an issue that caused fresh blood not to stay visible for longer when using the Bloodhound perk.
- Fixed an issue that some hair and accessory materials not to dissolve at the same time as the rest of the Survivor model when being sacrificed.
- Fixed an issue that made it impossible for the Killer to pick up Survivors if they were too close to the shelf assets on multiple tiles in The Underground Complex map.
- Adjusted the placement of the generator that caused the lighting to become extremely bright when repaired, when it spawned on the glass ceiling in the Rift Lab of The Underground Complex map.
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to get on top of some crates and could hold the game hostage in the Rift Lab room in the The Underground Complex map.
- Fixed an issue that caused some flickering ground textures on the Clinic tiles in The Underground Complex map.
- Fixed an issue that caused uneven shadows on a metal lid in The Underground Complex map.
- Fixed an issue that caused a crack in a wall to appear stretched and off the ceiling in The Underground Complex map.

- Fixed an issue that caused a visible ground seam around the Asylum building in the Disturbed Ward map.
- Fixed an issue that caused a visible ground seam around an exit gate in the Groaning Storehouse map.
- Fixed an issue that caused an invisible collision blocking player movement on top of a hill in the Family Residence map.
- Fixed an issue that caused the counters in one of the houses in the Badham Preschool maps to have a major LOD transition.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a crash for the Survivors when The Demogorgon used a portal.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the Friends List to become slow after being opened multiple times.
- Fixed an issue that could crash during the transition to the Tally screen.
- Fixed an issue that caused the user to be stuck in the Play As Survivor lobby with no UI when getting disconnected from the Network under certain conditions.
- Fixed an issue that caused Custom Game spectators to lose connection to the network instead of the host if the host disconnected during the match.
- Fixed an issue that caused a host Survivor in a Custom Game to crash when leaving the match result screen after having died in the match.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players to take up to or more than 30 seconds to fully disconnect from the server while in a match. If a player disconnected at any point after the camera pan rotation at the start of the match, it should take the user 5 seconds to register as disconnected.
- Fixed an issue that caused a disconnected Survivor model to stay in the trial and be interacted with if they disconnected as they were getting unhooked.
- Fixed an issue that caused The Shape's Glass Fragment add-on to have the wrong value in the description.

Well, I'm talking about the last few months. Aside from terrible optimization, I keep on encountering these arseholes, and worst are those that doing lag-switch or hosts that have terrible internet connection(green latency before game starts, but rubber-banding in the middle of the game, or when in chase).
Then report them, and write a ticket to support about it. Provide the info needed, and most importantly; bring evidence.

The window loops are the issue. The pallet loops are SUPER unsafe. There’s maybe one or two good ones, but if you have BL on this map it’s easy dubs.

This friends list changes only made it so SWF was easier to get together instead of inviting one another. These changes are pointless, and would lead to more dodging. Not to mention... voice communication programs aren’t cheating. It’s like a 4-6 stack on OW, like someone said. Just play against it.

This was a fun read. It’s interesting to see a plot like this.

Adrenaline doesn’t need a change. DS is fine as it is now, don’t tunnel. Self care doesn’t even need any changes. None of these perks do really.

I can't think of any argument that would justify why the performance gets worse with each update.
I’m not justifying it— I’m saying there may be a few reasons behind it that are worth mentioning. Not to mention, the performance may get worse (I don’t have an extensive knowledge of programming) due to the sheer amount of lines of code.
Saying that I was justifying it is disingenuous— All I was saying is that by taking a look at HOW they run their business could affect HOW the performance is.
As we all know, a game is thousands of lines of code. That much is for certain— maybe even HUNDREDS of thousands if you wish to go that far. Tons and TONS of things. I don’t think there’s an easy fix per se unless you went in and manually adjusted or find a line of code that could be causing issues; but this isn’t the only game with a console port that has appealing frame rates. Think of games like Control, and Borderlands Three; those games MAJOR powerhouses backing them and they still have issues with console ports.
The best thing you can do is send your feedback and or clips to SHOW how it happened— whether it be a FPS drop or clipping. They have said that they are working towards better frame rates on console, and comparing it to it’s initial release on console, it has come a long way from what it was then.
EDIT:Look, I’m just saying that there’s a lot of ways that this can go. It’s a lot of work, and I’m not excusing them from it. If you want something done about it— there’s better ways to supply said feedback.
They KNOW that the performance isn’t the greatest— they’re asking for community help on it. And, Peanits has stated that they definitely do not ignore an entire audience of people— that’s a bad business model and not good for sales. There’s better ways to push for improvement than just saying the performance is bad— they need to know how it happened and why. Which, they relying on the community for. That’s why the Feedback and Technical Support parts of the forum exist for that sole reason.

It only took me a day or two to learn her. To each their own.

This isn’t the only project BHVR works on. Anyone who looks at their job openings can see this.
Furthermore they can divert their resources how they please; they also don’t have crunch time so that’s why some updates can take a little longer.
Let’s make a few things clear:
BHVR Entertainment usually sticks to mobile games or providing assets. This is one of their more major projects yes, but that doesn’t mean their original work has been ignored. Do I think this game is good on console? Not really. But there’s a few factors that could affect the development of the game that aren’t accounted for here.

I can guarantee that the report system does something. I used to be an ACM before becoming a community manager and I can promise that there are people looking at those reports. They didn't pay us to stand around and look pretty, sadly.
For the switch roles button; this is a side effect of the lobby changes in 3.2.0. Since the SWF option has been merged with the solo option, the button needed to be removed. Otherwise, you could have a friend join your lobby, switch to killer, and then be able to play killer with your friends in a public match. That's not something we could have.
These changes also allowed us to automatically regroup people with their friends after a match, something that we've been requested for a long time. When we look at the two options- delay the whole feature so we can update that one button, or remove the button for the time being- the choice was pretty clear. We opted to add the feature that people have been asking for sooner rather than letting a single button hold everything back.
Second Account(as in testimony) for that! I’ve gotten someone banned through it.
Just go to support and they can carry out the action.

The main reason I even went on that tangent is because that was the reason why he should buy the chapter; to which I personally disagree. I was saying that because there’s a few ways this reasoning could be exploited. I was bringing things to the convo, I was just supporting my argument.
I don’t think the devs are entitled to give you a refund when you originally spent ten dollars and want to get two dollars off after said purchase, with the addition of an exclusive, and 18,000 shards/1000 auric cells. If you wanted to get the shirt— pay eight dollars for it. It doesn’t change, nor it shouldn’t. That’s just a bad business model. Let’s make things clear; you own both characters from the chapter, but you want the Shirt which is exclusive to buying the DLC itself off of The Microsoft Store, Sony Store, and the Steam Store.
Additionally, regardless of how long the grind takes, that’s still skipping the grind. And level fourty at the start of the game is one hell of a jump-start.
EDIT: Look, like it or not— BHVR can handle their marketing however they want. If support declined your request, that’s as far as it’s gonna go.

This logic has one hole in it. You had already owned these shards so you had to play enough time to gather them and at the point you had them, you could have spend them on cosmetics/characters on shrine. In the end it doesent create any p2w instead it just changes on what you will use them… its just like refund… because IT IS a refund (for which you are paying extra, so actually refusing this from the devs is a bad decision).
But it’s also their fault. You can’t excuse that. At the end of the day they have the right to say no. If you want the chapter exclusive— buy the chapter.
It even says that in the description of the chapter on the steam store.
