So are Killers getting anything, or are you just looking to turn their lives into suffering again? Devs have already stated that they don't want to "punish" certain gameplay styles, rather, to incentivize playing differently. Tunneling is like "gen-rushing", it's not fun for either side but it's simply getting your objective done faster.
-
When Killers complained about balance Survivors constantly reminded Killers that there was the option of "just getting good" or to stop being so dramatic over Killer nerfs. Now that the opposite is true it's rivers of tears on this forum and we're all supposed to hugbox Survivors and tell them it's all right.
Of course solo queue is still awful, and it needs addressing, but stop pretending the world is ending. You weren't complaining when you had all the second chance perks in the world to bully Killers.
-
Probably Anton Chigurh, preferably as a Killer.
-
Why does everyone mention these two as if they're contingent on one another?
-
Don't judge a book by its cover. Maybe if it's recent there's a reason to be suspicious. I personally got banned on VAC 3022 days ago today for being a stupid child and cheating in TF2. Never cheated since.

Leaning more towards no; every time I want a bit of variety and play a different killer than Nurse I get BM'd, teabagged, shat on every time. I wouldn't call playing Nurse "fun" but it's the best way to *at least* not get BM'ed. Playing Killer in and of itself can be fun, it's just the other side's behaviour that ruins it for me.

I've heard that translations (esp. of perks, addons) are rife with errors, making it very confusing for people playing the game in a different language (I've seen threads about translations to Korean and Japanese being wrong, not sure about other languages).
I think a (text-only) tutorial for and against every killer would be good too. A lot of newer people are surely very confused about all the different powers and their individual aspects.
-
I definitely feel where your frustration is coming from. See if you can't go for someone else if a certain survivor is BMing you. They're usually the best chasers. I think part of it is mindset as well; if you end up not killing anyone, your MMR will go down and you'll probably go against friendlier people. I try to see this as a positive thing (although it doesn't always help against the frustration.)

It worked for me yesterday. You'll have to post a screenshot or video.
Apologies for the slow response, I will post a screenshot as soon as possible as I didn't think to do so in the moment (meaning: I'll have to equip Rancor and make a screenshot). Thanks for your response, I'm glad Rancor is working properly for you.

No favourite genre in particular, but I really like this song at the moment:

Wait @WalterBlack , was this after the bugfix patch or before?
I had this bug about 5 minutes prior to writing, I'm not sure when the fix was implemented, but I hope this info helps. I'd probably say after the bugfix.

SBMM has sucked all of the fun I had out of this game.

Their biased wording in the blogpost points to changes being meaningless at best, harmful at worst.
"Tough" versus "Unfair"
"Competitive" versus "Unfair"
"Lower-mid skill who, understandably, don't want to get destroyed by high skill players", versus:
"High skill players who want more variety in their matches." Where is the word understandably here, why even put it anywhere in the blogpost in the first place? It just shows that at least the writer leans towards one side of the argument.
Maybe I'm just reading too much into this, but I've studied my fair share of texts at university. I think anyone would be able to pick this out if they looked a little closer.

Bumping for visibility. I wonder if any other languages have this issue too, very weird. I'm guessing Google Translate was BHVR's choice of "sworn translator".

A lot of our Developers already play on the Live build - they also stream it in some cases at least (edited to show that not all of them stream).
You know, somehow them actively playing the game and still not properly balancing it makes this all even worse.

Probably nerf Pig again, remove her ability to swing.

The chains are very easily broken, to the point where a lot of the time they don't have any impact at all. Chain Hunt is very easily countered by just solving the box in a super safe location, take shack for instance. The chain is very easily dodged as the controls are so incredibly wonky. I really wouldn't say "Pinhead is S-tier, way up there with Nurse, Spirit..."
I've been pretty much exclusively playing Pinhead since his release, I've gone against all calibers. He doesn't perform well against high-mid to higher MMR survivors.
-
SBMM is a ######### nightmare. I have to sweat my ass off every single game to try and get close to getting 2 kills. I realise this is the point of the system, but while improving matchmaking, it sucks all the fun out of the game. Before, I'd face amazing teams, awful teams, and teams in-between. Now it just feels like I face coordinated SWF constantly.
-
I love Hellraiser but Pinhead in-game sucks ass.
-
The concept is great but the execution got BHVR'd.
-
Bottom C-tier, chains break far too easily, chain hunt is countered / prevented far too easily. Holding the box is also not punishing enough.
-
He definitely feels horrible to play. Chains barely have an impact and break way too easily. Chain Hunt is very easily prevented or stopped, if you try to stop the Survivor solving the Lament Configuration (given that they're not across the map), you have 3 other survivors working away at generators. Damned if you do, but also damned if you don't, as the passive is pretty much the only good thing about this killer.
I really wish Pinhead were better. 10 years ago I created my Steam account with a name referring to Hellraiser. I love the Hellraiser franchise, but this might just be one of the most disappointing additions yet.

Uhh, yea no. As a survivor main, I'm of the opinion Pinhead needs a Nerf, not a Buff.
-He can spawn before a survivor gets even a third done the box, if he isn't distracted by something
-Chains are super fast already, can reach long distances, through windows doors and WALLS(unsure if walls is glitch or not)
-If a survivor is grabbed by more than one chain, they take longer to break than it takes for Pinhead to reach you.
Excellent bait
-
Not to mention that if you hook a Survivor your chains have little to no impact. Break them on the environment instantly, or alternatively with M1, which breaks the chains far too quickly too.
-
He's quite fun but far from strong, chains break far too easily, breaking on the environment instantly, or taking 3 seconds to manually remove them (of which you spend 2 seconds as the Killer playing catch-up.) His strong passive is also countered quite easily, requiring very little effort from a Survivor to disable it for a long period of time.

It could be from his P1 weapon. I think his weapon is stored in that general area.
Feels a bit strange equipping it in this state 🤣

I think this is related to the Lament Configuration or Chain Hunts, I activated the Lament Configuration as Pinhead two matches in a row and both times I crashed. Other times I could activate it and not crash.
Expanding on this, in my last match, the Chain Hunt had been going for approx. 1 minute before my game crashed.

I doubt the voice lines will ever return, Mandy apparently "couldn't say anything about it", and the removal isn't under known issues.
-
What would you suggest they change it to? A lot of ultra rares feel useless or detrimental, so try and come up with something good.
-
Bump.
I use like 4 addons on the Nurse, the rest either messes with muscle memory or is plain detrimental.

Whenever someone complains about the Devs on the Forums I buy a Cosmetic to annoy them without them knowing.
Financially responsible individual.

I think the issue was that they had to create separate models for each survivor, in this case a decapitated model + a severed head. It would be cool, though.

What about this game would make you rage quit forever?
Loss of progress is the only thing that'd really do it for me. I got through 1.9.2, at this point I'm prepared for anything.

I've heard the estimate of 7 September being thrown around.
