They literally enjoy playing cold blooded murderers searching and looking for people to kill and sacrifice...
I don't think we could ever understand the mind of a killer main...
-
Wait, so is Kate the last one?
-
The only thing I like about these edits is that she has the appropriate skin color.
I dunno why, but her rework model has paler skin than the Spirit.
It makes her look creepy.
-
Pros: She looks more realistic now. The old one looks like her face was cut out of a magazine page.
Cons: She's smiling instead of looking surprised. They literally took expressions away from other survivors and yet they are willing to add a smile to Kate... wth

Ace and David look worse tbh. It’s worth it though for how godly new Jake is.
Lol. So many people thirsting over new Jake. Can't blame them though.

That’s really only because of the expression.
look at the Video, there he has the confident facial expression even with the new model.
Because they finally added facial animations to the new models.
The older ones smirked simply because the model had a smirk put on him. Now, he can finally move his lips to MAKE a smirk.

He's not OP. At least not Nurse & Spirit level OP.
He's a solid A tier right now. A- to be exact. He can stomp players who are bad loopers or don't look around their surroundings.
And pls, enuff with the SWF argument. That's like 4% of the entire survivor player base.
We don't need to put SWF as the main source of balancing.

Well I'm southern so yeah, and killers aren't meant to be entirely relatable, and neither are survivors.
If you graphically reworked people off of relatability then you'd have a very small roster of overhauled survivors, and maybe one killer.
That's a terrible argument.
Being relatable doesn't happen by design choice. It doesn't work like that. You can't force something to be relatable.
My point was that survivors are much MORE relatable than more than two thirds of the killer roster. It's because they're mostly normal people being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Killers are literally scary monsters who enjoy being in the realm to please themselves over kills. There's only a few who are relatable and even that's stretching it.
Heck, the only thing common between you and Hillbilly is you both being "Southern" and that's it. Even Deathslinger can fill that slot. Killers don't offer players anything to relate/reflect from. Oh well.
-
Because survivors are relatable.
Their origins, looks, gender, nationality etc. So of course updating them will be a higher priority than killers.
Tell me, do you feel relatable to the Hillbilly by any chance?
-
I'm seeing the opposite...
People are complaining left and right that certain characters are too conventionally "pretty" now, case and point: Meg/Jake/Nea.
The rest are considered average by the reactions I've seen.
I think what you're saying right, but they're also trying to make certain characters look more closer to their dedicated heritage like David looking English and Jake looking Korean.
-
Can we please get a date on when these models are coming exactly?
Teasing is fine, but at least throw us a bone.
-
In general, Spirit and Nurse.
Personally, Bubba and Hag.

@Voodoo_Thirsty (Your comment was deleted for some reason so correct me if I misinterpreted something)
This notion that representation of real life people in fictional media matters in any way is, to put it bluntly, nonsense. The quality of any artistic work will never be dependant on what characters are included in it, unless perhaps to people that have an unusual interest in race.
It doesn't matter if every single character is from the same country. Non-existent or otherwise. Their design and how it's interwoven into the rest of the game is the only thing that matters.
I understand if this response seems harsh and unprovoked. But I've come across this line of thinking quite a few times on the forums and I feel a need to dispel it as it's a very narrow and crude way of looking at the media you consume: "It's good. But It'd be better if it had more of X race because there's too much of Y race".
Do not bother judging things by their ethnic background. Focus on it the ideas it presents and the execution of those ideas.
No offense taken. :)
Your opinion is as good as mine.
I'm more on the side of showing more appreciation for more diverse culture.
Though I also agree with preventing forced inclusiveness.

I can see that you put a lot of effort into this map. But it's extremely arbitrary. What does it matter where a character comes from if their design is interesting?
Because I think people, especially players want to have their nationalities/heritage represented.
Relatable characters often have something in common with you and if they are from the same country/culture that you are associated with, that makes it more immersive.
Of course, good content always comes first but as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with a little diversity and inclusiveness every now and then.

Gosh, my bad.
I was like half asleep when I was making this :P

She is French Madagassian.
Cruds, I missed that part out.
My bad people.

I see nothing wrong with that.
I noe. It's a good bonus effect for killers.

This is like saying BBQ is OP against stealthy survivors.
That's how it's supposed to run.
Don't face the gens when you're getting close.
-
The dream sequence is already a huge plus for Freddy than any other killer.
Brighter map, subtle terror music and plenty of effective powers he can utilize.
Preventing survivors from waking each other up and etc would be unfair since it'll literally be living hell for them.
I'd only be down for this if he loses his teleportation. That makes him the only killer with a map jumping ability. Not even the Nurse can do that.
-
Love the Kate.
Love the Plague.
10 bucks worth it.
-
They nerf Freddy and yet they failed to nerf the Spirit.
Instead, the Twins were nerfed as if they weren't underperforming enough.
-
Nope no news about him/her/it yet.

Why do people complain about the brightness so much, whenever anyone ever complained how for example old Gideon used to be too dark, most of the people here said "It's fine on my screen, just use filters if you don't like it".
Bright maps are far superior to dark ones, there's very few things as annoying as map you can hardly see anything on (especially when you add mend effect to it).
For once we got extremely thematic map that is also bright among basically all other either dark or medium brightness maps. I hope more maps get as bright as new farm maps, they're great.
Well probably because the game has been dark for the past 5 years...

People say he needs buffs, I think not.
He can easily keep his hex totems, slow down progression, slug and etc.
-
She isn't iconic enough

Thanks!
