Survivors just need more nerfs in general. Its too bad they don't have any perks (like hexes) that the killer can get rid of. Ds isn't that bad though. A perk that really needs a change is OoO. At least make undetectable a counter to it ffs.
-
I honestly believe that wether an RBT is active or not, it should still kill them if they try to leave with it on. Itll add just a little bit more pressure to the end game. Currently, as soon as the generators get finished, her power is effectively useless, and for a killer who's whole point of being is 'i want to play a game', she seems the tiniest bit underpowered. That and a new menu theme/chase music are my only change ideas for pig.
The only change id make for trapper is mirroring his playstation cover art. His hooks are on the wrong side in the image.
-
Its cuz we're all crying ourselves to sleep at night.
-
Thats a good idea, but I think my suggestion would just be to either remove them, or make it so they only work on a hatch that's already been closed, kinda forcing it to be a last ditch effort item for the final survivor and ONLY the final survivor.

What's wrong with noed?
Good question. The answer is: On a high rank Killer that properly applies pressure without camping, face or otherwise, provides a fun and challenging match for all involved, and does their best not to tunnel? Absolutely nothing. For a pack of skilled survivors, its just another strategic hurdle to overcome together.
..............
On a low rank face-camping tunnel each person one at a time until you finally get all the gens done because your team is uncoordinated, and then you manage to save your low rank friend only for them to go down in one hit because SURPRISE! Not only do I not bust gennies, commit to chases other than the person I last hooked AND run slowdown perks while literally face camping, I'm gonna go ahead and put the one last cheap-trick dollop of screw-you icing on this cake of misery by making sure that your last remaining DbD friend ragequits and uninstalls type of Killer?
Its just such a loser move. In that seemingly specific but all too recurring situation.

So what's your proposal ? Just complaining about something isn't helpful you know.
No one likes getting facecamped at the start of the match but if no one comes up with a fair solution then what's the point in complaining about it ?
Maybe if the Killer is within a very close proximity of the hook for a set amount of time, the hook timer just stops? And if the survivor is on 2nd hook, they get a hook state back. It would obviously have to be a signifigant amount of time camping, but I think it could work.
-
I know what you mean. I've been pretty much forced into a Killer Main because of LONG MATCHMAKING, and Camping/Tunneling/NoEd killers causing my friends to drop the game completely. Solo Survivor just plain isn't fun. Its a shame. I used to play survivor more often than killer but... now I got no one to play it with because theres no penalty for face camping killers.
-
I have never played a demo match that wasn't fun, so thats probably it. Ive played so many different killers and none of them are as fun as demo. Im playstation, so I dont have the chat box, but if I did, thered probably be ggs all around.

Ya, Deathslinger needs more variety. The Twins also came out pretty lackluster for their cosmetics. I'm maining them, but I haven't taken to any of the cosmetics so default it is.
Seems like Blood and Guts is the best cosmetic for them so far. However they are SUPER new, whereas Deathslinger is several chapters back., which is why I expected a bit more.

I know i'm kinda super late for this party, but I just like to share. I had this cool idea for a killer called "The Mariner" who could use his power to phase through survivors to eliminate bodyblocking as a tactic.
So anyway, the perk is called "Angler" and here's how it works.
If there is at least one survivor down on the ground, their aura is blocked to all other survivors. Instead, if the killer stands still for 1 second, they gain the Undetectable status effect, and a false aura of a downed survivor is planted at their location at a radius of x/x/x meters.

Apparently none of the good ones, lol

What tier lists are you reading? I don't know that I've ever seen a serious tier list that doesn't put Spirit near the top.
No clue. It was a while ago, so maybe they weren't serious. It just seemed strange to me is all.

@Yamaoka said:
Wait... What ?! Literally the majority of the community agrees that Spirit is one of the strongest killers in the game and pretty much just below Nurse.
Who the hell thinks Spirit is low tier?
Exactly my point! But this is just what I saw on the Killer tier lists.

Honestly, I used to tunnel when I first started the game, but now, years later, I can truly say that theres no need to tunnel or camp. Its much easier to apply map/gen pressure and get 3 hooks on all for a 4k than it is to face camp and get gen rushed just for a 1k. This isn't all killers, but I've noticed that its mostly killers in the lower ranks. My advice? Survive with friends and pip up to get out of the baby killer zone.
-
Dude, this is a good thing for Killers. It just forces you to get more points before your kill animation.

The devs tested exit gate regression. It hurt solo survivors a lot more than it hurt SWF, who were just able to coordinate around it. The devs don't want to widen the gap between solo and SWF even more. Neither do I. I play solo survivor, and it can be downright miserable.
If survivors teabag in the gates, that's great, it gives me time to go break pallets and breakables walls and even go find the hatch. And I've had survivors die because they mistimed their noise notifications and died to the entity. I love when they die to the entity because they're desperate for me to come over.
You make an excellent point. I suppose that would make it much harder for solo survivors. I hadn't thought of it like that.

Don't you?
There is no such thing as a "toxic build". For real.
I don't. Ruin would conflict with my Pop Goes the Weasel. For real. There is such a thing as a toxic build.

Teabagging is not toxic, I'm sorry but it just isn't.
If teabagging is toxic, then so are emotes in Fortnite, the Humiliation points you get for emoting in DOOM 2016 after killing someone (which also has a teabag emote where your weapon disappears and your guy does the crouching animation), Halo 3 where the body moves up and down when you teabag someone, and Overwatch, where Mercy has a literal teabag emote where she dips a teabag in a teacup.
Sorry, but teabagging isn't toxic and some games even embrace it. It's a part of online gaming culture.
The sooner you realize this and get over it the sooner you'll stop caring.
Embracing toxicity is not justifying it. Calling taunting specifically to anger someone 'culture' just outs you as a toxic person.

@MrLimonka said:
"Toxic builds"? Let me guess, you probably run ruin and undying yourself, don't you?
The gates are perfectly fine. If you want to use blood warden, no one's stopping you from opening the gate yourself. If it's 99%, you might as well open it.
Kind Of presumptious of you to assume I run Ruin and Undying.

You don't really have a choice to be chased or do gens. If the killer spots you, you have to get chased. As a killer, if you decide to constantly chase the same person that gives you a hard time, then you're essentially just allowing them to be toxic to you.
You make a good point. I suppose some people are just more easy to infuriate than others. I just hate that some Survivors build themselves around being annoying. Toxic builds do exist.

eh, I don't know about implementing changes based off of juvenile behavior. I will say, however, that I've always wanted hit's on the edge of the exit threshold to turn into grabs if the survivor is injured, making staying around the exit gate a more dangerous proposition. Kinda irritating how they just fall into freedom.
My Point exactly. Its a safety net they just don't deserve

Sure you don’t have problem with facecamper a hooked surv to ensure the kill. 99% the door is a strategy survs can use. If you don’t like it open the door
Difference is, I don't face camp, and I don't condone it. It should be mentioned that I'm alsonot a killer main. I play both sides, so its not like I'm biased.

I didn't know proficient looping is toxic. Guess that's another thing I can't do.
Looping isn't toxic. Intentionally refusing to do objectives just to loop, teabag, loop, teabag, loop, point, teabag, loop, stun is.

@weirdkid5 said:
What is it with people and wanting to implement punishments for people teabagging?
Is this really that tilting for some people? Jesus man lol
Its toxic behavior. Actively abusing a game mechanic to taunt someone isn't okay.

I also noticed that when hitting a survivor that has Victor attached, they can still leave. I thought they gave you a grace period now? Did they take that out?

Craps....I am pretty tipsy as #########...
You should be able to edit your original post to remove the screen shot.
You can repost the screen shot once you "black bar" the names
All done. Thanks for the heads up.
