Mildly off topic, but how about Legion's add-ons? Like the ones that lower cooldown by 0.6 seconds for "Considerably"?
Alot of the Add-ons in this game need some work, so I support you.

They said they're gonna be trying to rework some of the licensed maps like what they did with Haddonfield. But as for the maps such as Coldwind and Autohaven, we probably wont see any reworks.
they ALL need reworking so bad. Maps still running like it's 2016

You're right about the inability to turn off Discord calls. Came up with a different Lv. 30 perk to replace the effect in the original post:
Paranoia: If there is more than one Survivor working on the same generator, progress is slowed by X%. Survivors take Y% longer to heal or unhook other Survivors.
"Where were you, Childs?" -R.J. MacReady
(Still the same theme of disrupting the Survivors' ability to work together, but probably more practical.)
Good Change. I like it

That picture there? It's from OTZ's "Depressing Clown Game" Go youtube it. Then tell me Clown is fine.

I enjoy the frenzied, Hyper aggressive play style I get with Legion. I enjoy chasing a survivor down and bleeding them, then either going after there friends if I see them or cancel (and eat the BS stun) and go after them. Some part if it just hits the right spots for me, much like the noises Freddy's claws make when he hits people.

So, just cause some Killers like this change... all Killers are bad and whine about things... okay let's look at some Forum posts. "Tryomg to get off shoulder is a joke" "Huntress isn't fun and healthy to this game" "Killer Shouldn't Be Able To Close Hatch"
So should I assume that all Survivors are bad and just whine about everything?
If you look, there ARE some posts about things that aren't whining. Though most of the time, someone comes in and does it anyway to stir up drama... like you seemed to want to do.

Maps should be fixed. Probably even gen speeds, but devs aren't willing to do that. Between the perks you listed, just DS should be changed ( 3 seconds stun and doesn't trigger if you are grabbed out of a locker ). OoO could be changed, but devs aren't gonna do that now with the Undetectable status effect coming into play. Some killers perks should be buffed, but same goes foor survivors.
Your thoughts have been noted, though it is interesting that you didn't say much about the asymmetrical nature of the game or how the team can be overpowered to the point of "bullying" a Killer. Not that it always happens, but in a game like this, shouldn't it stand to reason that the team shouldn't just be able to roll over the guy on his own?

Nah, sorry. This is just a thread like there are thousands in the Forum. And nobody really wants to read this complains anymore.
You were just using OoO as a clickbait. Not dumping any time in discussing things that were already discussed numerous times here.
No, I assure you that I was not using OoO as "Click Bait" the thread was a rant that was inspired by the first part.
Also, I am not complaining. I am pointing out things that do not make sense to me.
Also, wouldn't it stand to reason that if there are "Thousands" of threads like this, that it should hold some merit? At the very least because of how often it is mentioned? It proves it's not just one person being salty.

As Killer.... I have never had so many sweaty teams in my games as during this Blood Hunt. It was crazy. Rapid fire gens going off and people just looping for days with toolboxes and insta heals pouring from the heavens.
-
Ahh, that was good for a laugh.

@Marcus said:
They not gonna nerf OoO anymore, now that Undetectable is gonna be added onto all stealth killers.
Please see the rest of the topic then, as I would be curious as to your views on the game balance as a whole, in respects to my questions.

That’s how people deal with every survivor sided topic just learn how to play
but if it’s said to a killer it’s a problem and I’m a bad person
a lot of killers can do well at the game you are just not good enough let me say
so what I said isn’t just a meme
I wouldn't tell a Survivor to just "GIT GUD". I would tell them were they could go to find tips and ways to learn more about the game. For example, youtube. There are some very nice videos on how to properly run loops and how to handle chases and the likes.
Also, please do not assume that I am "Not good enough" I take offence to that. That would be like me just assuming that you are a terrible survivor. Very rude. Other than that, I wouldn't call you a "Bad person" anymore than i would call some person on the street bad for no reason.
Therefore, your argument in this case is not only off topic, but meaningless. Please, do you have anything more insightful to say?
-
@jordirex said:
I see you're talking in the perspective of a m1 killer main. I don't have these problems, but then, I play Huntress. Idk, switch to billy or something.
Well, to rebut your comment, how many Killers would you consider to be a M1 Killer? Most, correct? That means, that from a point of view of a M1 Killer, the majority of the time I am correct.
Also, I applaud you being good at Huntress. I can never get those hatchets right. I also hate Billy, and think that more than 3-4 Killers should be worth playing as.
-
Survivor: Terrible. Let's just leave it at that. I am so bad.
Killer: Well, I am very aggressive, and therefore tend to go to Killers that favor that style of play. I don't BM or be toxic unless it's done to me first. I try and not tunnel unless they just jump into my arms, that kinda thing.
-
AH, the old Dark souls meme. Now that we got that out of the way, would you like to give us anything insightful or meaningful to this topic or shall I assume you are just here to troll and therefore ignore your input? Because, I would rather hope that your opinion on such a multi-leveled and diverse topic as this would be summed up in more than two words.

Not gonna lie, you had me with the first 3 lines about Object of Obsession.
Sadly it turned into a Crybaby-Thread afterwards.
I see that you didn't really read what I was saying then.
What I was talking about was a general disparity in the balancing of the game as a whole. At it's base this is a asymmetrical game. I.E. One that needs to be balanced in a way that the person with no or fewer teammates has the edge needed to handle the team on the other side. I am sure you read a bit, then decided all I was doing was whining cause I got beat at a game or some such. But, If you take a moment to think a bit deeper about the game and the balancing issues as a whole, you will see that I have a point. Am I right? Perhaps not, but I am at least in my mind, offering a clear and concise view of one of the major issues of Dead By Daylight.
Thank you for your time, and please don't label someone as a "Cry baby" or something when they are attempting to make a rational and logical point. At least without reading and thinking on the issues and topics brought to bear.
Also, thank you for agreeing about Object.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Someone complained about Plague? #########? Just get behind something or hide till she loses it. gg, tbag at gate, wonder why everyone plays Nurse and Spirit and go beg for them to get nerfed.
Hell, just GO AROUND A CORNER.

Well, i see this is "Survivor main only" Territory. I'll see myself out. I know for sure I'll never be able to convince any of you any different than what you already think, and there is no reason to try.
"Oh he's just saying that cause he lost and can't argue. What a Killer main troll."
Nope. Just been on this song and dance one too many times to bother.

@Steve0333 said:
NOED isn't overpowered imo. Mainly noob killers use it. When you play killers in red ranks you don't see NOED that often. You see it a lot in green ranks and some in purple but not so much in red. The two perks the killer almost always has is ruin (pretty much universal regardless of rank) and B&C (It's a strong perk plus you get all those sweet bloodpoints.) The other two perks vary depending mostly on the killer they are playing.
The two type of strongest perks are ones that slow down gen speed (Ruin, Thano, dying light, pop goes the weasel) and perks that help the killer end chases faster if you're not playing Spirit or Nurse (Spirit fury, enduring, brutal strength.)
Perks that help with aura reading and tracking survivors are generally pretty weak since you can find survivors pretty easy just by patrolling gens. They are good for newer players but not so much for experienced ones. Whispers, B&C and nurses calling would be the strongest of these.
End game perks are the ultimate noob perks (NOED, blood warden, remember me). If you run one of these you're essentially admitting that you're not very good and that you're probably going to need help at the end when all the survivors finish the gens and head for the exit gates.
Or, just throwing this out there, you run end game perks cause you expect gens to fly by at mach 3. NOED is a very bad perk to run as a noob, because you learn wrong.

Im rank 2 surv and I see that in every game, there is no need to troll because you cant deal with the terrible thing you said.
What terrible thing did I say? I honestly think it's wrong. I play Killer and when I am chasing people, the gens get popped. I'm sorry you've gotten bad teams man, but in my experience and in my opinion you are wrong. The person you first replied to was correct. There shouldn't BE a 1v1 way to beat a Killer as easily as it seems everyone wants. It would not be balanced at all. What? Is the survivor gonna just pull out a gun and shoot the Killer dead next? it's a 1v4 game. The 4 SHOULD NOT equal the 1. That simple. If you don't understand that, I'm sorry.
-
@Aikanaro said:

Wrong, you can have 1 surv healing other, doing totems, looking for items or hiding.
The 3 other survivors probably doing gens is a fallacy.
Wow, what a good argument. Much wow.
No really, this holds no water at higher ranks or with SWF.

Styptic not stupid, but with the change to brand new parts and DS there's nothing survivors have that'll tramautically tilt the game with instaheals it's possible and same thing with the brand new parts BUT it's gotta be timed right and MOST of the time there's not 4 survivors using those things.. but all it takes is 1 killer to use a green Mori and kill the 1st guy right off the hook and kapow the game is 99 percent in the killers favor ESPECIALLY if there's 4 gens left with RUIN still up and dont even get me started on Ebony's and op add-ons killers have, stop complaining and get good If you can't learn how counter play simple survivor mechanics and learn how to manage your limited time then killer is NOT for you. What do you want them to do? I MAIN PIG and get 3 and 4Ks all the time dude. I'm in purple ranks for killer but i play killer when I get bored playing RR survivor( I play solo and alot of times the randoms suck and most of the time it's the same killers being played at rank 1)
Oh, and Moris are the "counter" to Keys, which you didnt mention. Also, please go LOOK at the add-ons for Killer before you start saying they are OP. Here: https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Dead_by_Daylight_Wiki
Please get some correct information.

Okay, so you use a really stupid argument to counter his eloquent and well thought out post? Good job. Side Note: I've seen 4 BNP teams and I've seen 4 instaheal teams in this Blood hunt alone.... at least 10 times. You really think all of the perks survivors have are balanced? You really think everything is fine? Good job getting 3Ks and 4Ks as Piggy, but that holds no weight in this argument. Also "Get Good" Is not advice. It's barely even a meme anymore. Please, use your intelligence before posting.

I don’t understand why people hate on legion when killers like spirit or nurse exist xd Jk in all seriousness I agree. Most survivors aren’t used to being run down and found quickly by a good legion player. The killer has some serious potential if you put in hours and ignore the hate. I believe in you!
Thank you! Lockers are also my best friend. I wont say why here though!

Thank you. Everyone always gives me alot of hate for playing Legion. But I like the Play style. The Hyper aggressive, chase you all and stab! kinda mentality is alot of fun for me.

@Yamaoka said:
Usually there's always a survivor or even two who hesitates to hop on a gen even at red ranks (unless it's an aggressive team). If someone plays Clown people get informed whenever he's in a chase due to the screams his bottles cause.
This information causes even passive players to play more optimally and run+repair gens like there's no tomorrow.
On top of that Clown's power is supposed to end chases quickly which it more often than not doesn't.
To sum it up:
Clown: No map pressure, no gen stall potential, no stealth, mediocre chase potential, informs anyone about his location and doings at all times allowing even solo players to play more optimally.
Also Slows himself to an utter crawl with Reloads and slows slightly when throwing his bottle.
-
Also, guess who I main now? Legion.
*Whydoidothistomyself?*
-
True as well
-
Some times, like today, I'll have a good Clown game. That was cause people started trying to bully me and I know how to handle that. But other than that.... no map pressure (like half the Killers) means Sad times are ahead.
-
Like "Yes, i'd love to bring a perk that can be removed after a survivor holds m1 for 17 seconds on the other side of the map. Thank you."
-
As a former Clown main, I can confirm that it just makes me cry inside, under my painted smile, to see gens fly by and medium vaults sped up.
-
Yeah... any Hex perk feels really too risky to run. They never, ever last.

While I agree afew perks in some situations are BS, I dont really have a problem with the majority. Earlier I had a Claudette deliverence herself off the hook, and even though I grabbed her RIGHT at the edge of crawling out...I still got DSed...
Yes, 60 seconds is really too long in a game like DBD.
I also meant the point of the long rant at the top. There were a few topics there.

People mainly cared about inner strength in terms of perks, not saying that Demo got good perks (because demo didn’t) but perks like stbfl, PGTW, enduring, bamboozle and thrilling tremors are all pretty nice.
I see what you are saying, but let's see. Adrenaline, Borrowed Time, Dead Hard, Balanced Landing, Object of Obsession, Decisive Strike, Head On, Inner Strength, Iron Will, Lithe, Prove Thyself, Spine Chill, Unbreakable....
-
Terrible.... cause the loops are unsafe instead of really easy to just run around.... yeah....
-
@GrootDude said:
“Why Do survivors get a half dozen second chances while the Killer gets useless perks?”
Killers have a lot of good perks...
Yes, they do. But how do they compare? That's my question. When the last chapter came out, what were people excited about perkwise. It sure wasn't Demo's.
-
This is a good example of bad feedback.
-
Hatch is explained easily, lorewise. Entity feeds on hope and despair. Hatch is there to keep that shred of hope going.
-
Honestly, this sounds really cool. Though... that first perk couldn't work. How would you turn off there Discord call? But other than that, I love the idea.
Shame the Devs said they wouldn't do disguise Killers.
-
Wow, alot of people complaining about a pallet that was OP for survivors getting removed.... Weird. It's almost like everyone loved to abuse that and every other unmindgameable, perfectly safe loop out there. But who would do that? After all, this is a perfectly balanced and well oiled game, which even the Devs say that they think they are doing a pretty good job so far. Weird...
