  • Can anyone actually confirm this to be true?

  • Just wanna do a call out for Billy. I genuinely want to like that killer, but the amount of effort I'd have to spend on him to make his power click... I'd rather just learn Nurse or Spirit.

I really really wish they'd allow you to play solo player games offline. No idea why this is still not a thing. Doesn't even have to have any bots... just let me spend an hour or two practicing Billy in a low pressure environment. Let me work on corner dashing, sprint dashing around the map so that when I take him into a game, I'm not having a miserable time being teabagged because I can't even use his Sprint Saw to get further than 15 m before crashing into something, much less actually secure a kill with it.

  • I forget which streamer said it, but it was basically like: "Never make fun of bad/chill survivors. They're the only reasons killers keep playing." I couldn't agree more.

The way the game is currently structured, if all survivors on a team are efficient - meaning 1 is being chased, 3 are working gens... one is being hooked, 2 are working gens, closest one is freeing (or doing gens if killer is camping), the killer is almost definitely going to lose and more likely than not, going to get zero kills.

So all those Survivors running meme builds, not always on gens, trying fun stuff and not perfecting their looping skills, thank you - you're the only reason this game still works.

Uh... I don't want to alarm you, but you can move in directions you aren't looking in first-person.

Fair. But the Survivor would literally have to turn around and run backwards to see if the killer is chasing them. That's so much harder to do and much more limiting than just keeping your camera angled backward.

Also being in a 3rd Party gives you a huge FoV and allows you to see things that would be impossible to. Example: hiding 100% out of a killers LoS behind a tree or ducking behind debris, yet still being able to see him.

It would be a huge nerf to Survivors and fundamentally change the core mechanics of the game.

  • Anyone who criticizes another for their perk choices is the definition of small pp.

That said, I hope DS/BT/UB in particular get reworked. They are not fun to play against. I'm not saying Anti-Tunneling is wrong, but these perks get abused so much. Too many people use BT as God Mode and try to bodyblock. It's an Anti-Tunneling perk... you have to let me choose not to tunnel you.

DS also frequently punishes killers who legitimately forget about it - they weren't tunneling you, they just happened to down you again (usually because you were being a horses ass and trying to get in the killers way, forcing him to go after you since you have DS/BT) after chasing around 2-3 survivors and pick you up with 5-10 seconds left on it.

    My reworks would be simple:

BT: "While under the effects of BT, you have no collision with the killer. BT does not expire if you are in a chase with the killer."

DS: "DSes cooldown no longer expires while the killer is chasing you. In turn, it automatically deactivates if the killer has chased another survivor for 20 seconds."

This actually makes them Anti-Tunneling perks rather than what they are now. Sure, the BT guy can still try to be in front of you and in chase with you... but since he has no collision, he cannot body block for a buddy. Once you get his buddy and are no longer in a chase, you can then slap him to remove it if he thinks being next to you is somehow helping his team.

As for DS, it also becomes effectively limitless in an actual tunnel situation, but it ends quickly when the killer is - y'know - not tunneling you.

  • It would be a huge nerf and be completely game changing. It's very important for the current mechanics that survivors can look in directions they aren't moving.

  • Most important skill as killer is to know when to take a chase and know when not to... and how good you are at it will determine how quickly you make that call. Do you immediately see a survivor, and see them running to a pallot. Is it a safe pallot, an unsafe pallot, a jungle gym or a completely unfair loop? The right decisions over the course of a game will save you minutes each game.

If you can make that assessment immediately, you're on your way to being a top tier killer.

I'd like to contest this. It depends on the time of day you play. For example with me (rank 1 killer, UK), if I queue during the day killer queues are eternal and I get instant survivor queues. If I queue up after, like, 9:30 (rank 3-1 survivor, depending on how good my teammates have been recently), then killer queues are the speed of sound and survivor queues, well I could be playing Pokemon Shield and hunt a shiny before I find a game.

It all depends on the time of day you queue, not necessarily a shortage.

I suspect Region and/or Platform do factor in so your mileage may very. I'm on PC, with cross-play enabled and I'm in NA.

  • Ole Limpy is fine. He's middle of the pack as far as strength IMHO.

If he's accurate with his shots, he's going to make some plays and probably get a few kills. Still not nearly as oppressive as a good Nurse, Hag, PS or a few others though.

If he's not, you'll get to dance a 4 man Teabag boogie in the exit gate. Just watch out for a sneaky quickscope and NOED. Wouldn't be the first game I've ended by shooting a late game teabagger and instant-downing him after reeling him in.

  • I'm Rank 8 - I've noticed I'm *almost always* going up against Rank Red survivors. And for the last several days, every, single, match has been instant queue for killer, at least on PC.

I have a theory that there's a Red Rank Killer shortage vs. Red Rank Survivor shortage... with lots of higher ranks sitting in queue, waiting for a killer to play against. After awhile, the matchmaking loosens the restrictions so they get a game. If your Rank 16 and got matched against Red Rank survivors, I suspect they were waiting a very long time for a match. Either that or their system is completely broken.

It is this exact type of thread why devs don't listen to killer complaint's ................ and i wouldn't listen to this either. Can't realy blame them, sorry. Sure the game has it's issues and can be very frustration but what's worse as a sore loser is a sore winner. You should be proud to still have won the match, yet here you are, crying because the match wasn't fast enough over.

No one's crying the perks are OP. They are just unfun to play against.

I love having to wait 15 seconds to smack the person with BT who is piggy-back riding their savior, preventing me from not tunneling them.

I love having to then wait 45 more seconds in order to pick them up. Though lets be honest, they'll stand up on their own by then because this meta sucks and if you're running DS, you're absolutely running UB because every Survivor runs those 2 perks + BT + either DH/SB/BL or Adrenaline/SC/Soul Guard.

I love watching someone who was just hooked run into a locker... then start singing the Mario Invincible Star music for a minute or until I leave them alone.

You can still win a match and give a 1 out of 5 for "did you have fun". In fact, it should even be so noteworthy that even actually winning the match didn't make up for how much ass it is to play against.

  • My favorite killers are Hag & Trapper. I'm a sucker for tricksie killers.

I also enjoy Bubba, Huntress & Deathslinger.

I cringe when I get a Wraith daily but it's usually something easy like: "Hit 4 Survivors after YA RING UR BELL"... so whatever. I have a chill game ringing mah bell, hitting mah survivors... and usually just let them all go. Unless I lose track of hooks and one dies. Whatever. lol

Really hope they rework Wraith some day. His entire role is basically done better by a perk like TInkerer. Any Survivor who knows how to play can spot you coming around with your ridiculous Predator Cloak that you have to stand there "DING DING DING DINGing" for 5 minutes before you're allowed to play the game and make a Survivor have to Survive.

And I'm totally not saying this because I had a Wraith daily today in which someone was running OoO, which works on you when you're cloaked because OF COURSE IT DOES and could never get the drop on anyone. I really had such a FUN TIME playing around that 100% FAIR AND BALANCED perk.

  • It's worth noting, you're right... DC Penalties don't exist. And for some reason, people think the stupidity of "slotting toxic items or running 4 Blendettes at the last second" is infallible.

All Killer has to do is Alt+F4 before you load and the match still gets cancelled.

Moral of the story: if you're gonna be a toxic SWF who clearly have no interest in the killer having some fun too... just be upfront about it. Sure, a few might swipe left, but if they stay you know they either want a real challenge, in which case you might have a great match... or they are so oblivious that they'll be an even more fun tormenting target than most would be.

  • Sure. Your SWF can pick 4 killers you don't wanna play against... just as long as every Killer can opt to decide 4 perks Survivors are not allowed to have when they play against them.

I would happily compromise on this if I never had to worry about DS, DH, UB & BT again.

    uhm..

i dont really know what you want to hear here, the match result screen provides you with the match results.

if you had a bad match, it will tell you so - its the same for survivors aswell.

its not there to boost your conficence with a message like "darn... well, we'll get em next time! :D", it merely displays how the match has went.

and if we're being honest, it has a lot more, much, much nicer messages than negative ones.

a loss will simply be "Entity Displeased" - a win literally compliments you (directed to you as a player) with "you are a "Ruthless Killer" / "Merciless Killer"", and even a draw still compliments you as "Brutal Killer".

imagine the loss message following the trend of the win messages and directly comment on you as the killer player. imagine having a really bad game like the one you described, just for the endscreen to say "Horrible Killer" or "Insufficient Killer".

it simply saying that the Entity isnt happy is a lot better imo...

What I'd be interested in hearing is why they opted to comment on your performance as a killer, but not as a survivor.

As a Survivor, you don't actually get told you had a bad match - you just get "Dead" "Sacrificed" or "Escaped". Doesn't matter if you killed yourself on hook within a minute or got hooked securing the escape of 2 others in the final moments of end game collapse.

Meanwhile, as a Killer, you can actually have a 2-3 kill match and still get Entity Displeased. It's happened once or twice to me after having a NOED slugathon after getting my ass handed to me by better players for 5-10 minutes. I'm just genuinely curious at this point why they made the decision to do "Your Bad And Should Feel Bad" messages for killers, but not survivors. Or even why they compliment good killer games, but don't do the same for Survivors.

  • Yeah, I mean, jokes aside, I think Huntress is fair.

I compare her to Deathslinger. Given the wind-up time, the notable sound she makes when throwing and the lullaby she sings that basically says: "Yeah, you don't get to run Monitor And Abuse for any cheeky angles"... I think having a hitbox the width of a jumbo jet is kinda fair. If you don't take precautions or get caught out, you deserve to take one for the team.

Meanwhile, Deathslinger has no real wind up time, no real notable sound and can get such a small terror radius that he can easily creep up and shoot. The trade off, of course, is that you actually have to be very accurate with him... and you only get 1 shot per chase.

Frankly, I think they did a good job balancing the two... though I'm sure high level Deathslingers are brutal to play against.

Yeah I love that perk, the only problem is that I didn't bring it the times I really needed it lol.

Yeah, I play Hag - my sweaty tryhard build is Whispers, Sloppy Butcher, Monitor & Abuse and Make Your Choice. Slot in addons that increase trap range and distance you can teleport to it.

Make Your Choice is amazing since survivors have to basically crawl walk away from a hook (if not, happy to immediately teleport there and one-shot the hero), you can easily be far enough away to proc Make Your Choice and then run to the hook before they are 100% clear.

Whispers helps me ID which gens are being worked on from afar... then find the stragglers at the end and chase them into my traps.

..really.. feeling tilited and getting mad at a defeat screen? My god..are people now a days really this sensitive

More like feeling tilted at a gen rush match and just getting a little extra salt after. I thought it was a miracle that I even pulled off 1 kill that match... but doesnt matter. Entity's a sourpuss.

Today, I'm not really salty, just more genuinely curious why the Devs stick to a factual defeat screen for Survivors, regardless of how bad a game they had... while they basically have a "Your Bad And Should Feel Bad" message to Killers who have the same bad game. Why treat players differently?

  • I've never bumped into anything like an organized effort to slow the game. Of course, I typically run Whispers, so it would be really hard to pull off. If I'm always within 32 meters of you, you're going to be hard pressed to hide for long. Especially since being at the edge of whispers, when its flickering, gives you very precise information: exactly 32 meters away in a pretty specific direction. So I immediately can use my eyes and guestimate pretty accurately where you currently are.

  • @Gdfighter said:

I'm a killer main, in the most matches I don't tunnel but when there is already 3 gens done and I'm still chasing 1 survivor I try to maximise my awards by killing so many as I can.

I'd don't know why is it so bad, I think its a good tactic to get blood points

Please go easy on me lol. This is my second week playing this game.

It all depends on the reason, IMHO.

If your slugging to avoid DS, fine. If one is on hook, you just downed another and you see another close, then it's a very good idea to slug. It really shouldn't be considered toxic.

If your slugging out of the gate as your go-to strategy, it's a bit mean spirited and poor form. While it can be effective, especially against a bunch of disorientated solo queuers, it means more downtime for survivors and in the event of certain strategies/playstyles conflicting, it can basically mean a long circle jerk, as you manage to consistently keep downing folks as fast as they revive while they make no gen progress and you make no sacrifice progression - that just isn't really fun for anyone IMHO.

  • Quick stage set: I main Hag, so on occasion, someone will DC the second they see me. That happened this game.

Anyway, we get down to the last survivor. I find Hatch - I know the Survivor is close, because Whispers is going off. I stand far away in the open for a few seconds, swatting at Hatch. It was a rough game due to the DC, figured last could have Hatch. He doesn't go for it. So I close Hatch to trigger the collapse. He can go to a door. Immediately, Survivor gets up from like 12-18 meters away and starts running for the exit.

    I stand there blinking.

Another minute passes. End game collapse is halfway done. Still no end.

I go to the exit I saw him run to. No one's at the gate. Whispers is going off. I scan the area. I find him hiding in a wagon. He's looking at me, remaining still. I swat at him a few times. He realizes I see him. He runs. I'm like, "No dummy!"

I literally start chasing him, trying to cut off his exits away from the gate. There's about 5 times I could clearly hit him, but don't.

He finally seems to get the hint. He opens the gate and escapes with like 5 seconds to go.

We talked after the game - he was a Rank 17 player in a game with me and a bunch of high ranks. I'm assuming he queued with a friend or something and that friend must have gone AFK when I killed them (or was the one who DCed). He genuinely didn't understand what was happening. He thought I was taunting him and playing with my food. But yes, I told him sometimes killers let the last one go either after being impressed by a survivor or if the game wasn't fair.

That was probably my most wholesome DBD moment. lol

The MMR can be switched on and off on the backend. Allowing Killer switch in lobby is a client-side thing. So if we were to turn it on, we'd have to ship a new version for that. Then to turn it off, we'd need to ship another version. That puts these changes in the content-delivery pipeline, which would push other things out of the way. So we prefer to leave it off.

That makes sense as well. Honestly, if I walk into a lobby with 4 Blendettes all shiny toolboxes or see something I don't wanna play against, I just swipe left. I don't endorse lobby dodging as a principle, but sometimes you can spot scummy SWFs from 5000 feet... and as long as I can do that, I don't really mind that I can't switch killers.

  • @Almo said:

As soon as possible. It's being worked on, and it's a priority.

    That is awesome.

I was really sorry to see that it didn't work initially (at least for some), but glad you guys aren't discouraged and are keeping at it.

One humble suggestion I'd make: if you're going with the MMR system but you want to keep 1-20 ranking for achievement purposes or whatever, hide it from being seen by other players. Once MMR goes live, knowing other players ranking will serve no purpose... in fact, it'll just be frustrating. Players will (reasonably) blame their losses on the system sucking when they, at rank 16, are put up against a Rank 4 Nurse Killer. They won't realize (or care) that its because this Rank 4 killer is a Hag-main and has never played Nurse before and has 1 yellow perk and no add-ons... they'll say: "DBD MM sucks, I'm 12 ranks lower than this guy. Of course I'm going to lose!"

  • OMG, yes to Xenomorph. That type of killer is basically what this game was designed to host.

  • My wishlist:

1, 2 and 3.) The Horror (Jason Voorhees, once he gets out of court). I see him as doubled down Tier 1 Myers. The ultimate jump-scare killer. Nurse-like movement speed, but zero (or maybe 2-3 M) horror radius out of chase (during chase, make it stupid like 32m), with a sort of spirit walk ability that cannot be initiated or cancelled if the survivor has line of sight on you. And by this, I mean whatever direction the survivors camera is pointed. This gives the illusion of him never teleporting - he always disappears and appears out of the Survivor player's line of sight, as if he walked there. Not sure this is viable, but it would be great if they could pull it off without it being unfun/unfair to play against.

4.) The Vampire (Dracula, or an original killer that's a vampire) - We don't have a vampire killer. Vampires are icons of the horror genre. They can turn into a bat or rolling mist to cover areas quickly, they start weak but get powerful. I would also love a mechanism where you can actually charm a survivor into helping him. If a survivor is looking at you in mid-chase (or their camera is pointed at you), you can use the Charm power to compel the Charmed state on a Survivor. Essentially, it'll force a choice on a survivor - they must do something to sabatage his team within 60 seconds. A few options could be inflicting wounds on another survivor, inflicting self-harm by one state, or sabataging 20% worth of progress on one or more gens. Charmed state ends early if the Vampire decides to hit them or Charms someone else. If they choose not to do anything, in 60 seconds, the vampire gets a strong permeant buff to his speed and swing recovery times.

5.) The Horde - Yes, as a killer, you literally play a "Horde" of Zombies. Again, just given how iconic zombies have become to the horror genre. Imagine its a worm that's like 8-12 meters long... it's a traditional M1 killer, but one of its abilities, it can change which side is its front and back, forcing a lot of uncomfortable 50/50s during loops, since half of some loop at any time is occupied by the Horde. Also it would be the art departments magnum opus. lol

6.) Pinhead - An iconic horror villain we could stand to gain.

Whenever a Generator is being repaired by a Survivor, it will immediately and automatically play a music number sang lovingly by Trapper

I've been trying to get better with him, but uh...

    I suck with him.

    Help me please

The biggest one that turned me from a crap Bubba player to an OK one: don't go for a hit on a healthy survivor. Get real close to him first, ride em like a donkey, then rev the chainsaw. His tantrum starts slow, but picks up speed as it goes on - focus on not hitting a wall or an object while just following the survivor, then you'll get him at the end.

Also, if the Survivor goes into a locker to dodge Tantrum, hit the locker... and start mashing the open button. His "stand in place, I hit an object, tandrum" is still lethal, and most survivors don't know the exact timing... as it varies a lot depending on your add-ons. You can usually pop the locker open a split second before they realize its ended.

  • Of course it needs a nerf. Nearly half the games I play, Survivors don't have 3 gens down by the time the first survivor gets hooked. How are we supposed to always get those gates open, line up, and do a 4 man Teabag Boogie every single game if, on occasion, the killer is actually able to get credible map pressure?

Oh yes, and Deathslinger's gun has to stop working past the exit gate. Because being caught teabagging by one running NOED is unfair.

  • Blight is like Nurse - a killer who is barely functional at low to average skill... but with an *insanely* high skill cap. Maybe Blights even moreso than Nurse, I think you can make the argument.

All the people making these tier lists are Streamers who have thousands of hours on Killer. Even most of them struggled with Blight for awhile.

Yes, it's easy to dodge most Blights. But the good ones, who can corner-clip to what seems like a pixel and seemingly find pebbles out of nowhere to bounce off and redirect themselves... you are going to have a really hard time. Not to mention, his ability to put pressure on gens makes Nurse look like a coma patient.

If you're looking for an example of what a decent Blight can do, check out Tru's latest Blight Videos. He's not even the best DBD player, but the pressure he brings with this killer is astounding.

Counterargument: The Survivors don't directly report to the Entity, so it makes sense that they don't get reprimanded by the Entity. Meanwhile, the Killer does, so it's as though you yourself failed the Entity.

If you're going with a Lore-based argument, sure they do. The Entity chose both the survivors and killers. We're all here to amuse the Entity. A terrible survivor who dies fast and accomplishes nothing would likely 'displease' the entity as they wouldn't be a worthy sacrifice.

I'm all for either both sides getting a factual result screen, or both sides being demeaned after what the game views as a poor performance. Even outside of the post game salt I posted this OP, I still genuinely don't get why they decided to basically demean a poorly played killer, but not a poorly played survivor.

  • @ABannedCat said:

For survivors it just states a fact "Sacrifised", "Escaped", so for killer it should read "4 survivors", "3 survivors", "2 survivors", "1 survivor", "NO SURVIVORS!".

Also they should change the notification when someone disconnects during the loading screen. Having the killer get the defeat notification, while survivors get the win notification reallly sends the wrong message. Is the killer responsible for the disconnect during the loading screen??

This. It's really not rocket science. Match Result: X Survived is perfect.

  • @Sonzaishinai said:

Or just, y'know, "Defeat"... like how Survivors get their result reported as a fact. "Dead"... "Sacrificed" or "Escaped".

Alternatively, if they wanna add something that demeans survivors when I make them depip, I could live with that. "Poor Offering" or "Unrespectable Showing" maybe?

  • A good number of my games, I play about as good as I can, run to the fastest gen with a survivor on it, get that survivor really quickly, and hook them... and 2, sometimes 3 gens pop, add-on depending. Sometimes, I'll be down to 1 gen before I've even seen 1-2 of the survivors, and I'm literally not taking any chases but sure things.

I don't have time to loop. If you make it to a loop, you win the chase.

I just pity anyone who plays an M1 killer against high rank survivors in this climate. No idea how you do it.

  • hqdefault.jpg

    You make bubba cri.

  • It's not that most Bubba players are face campers as much as it is all face campers will pick the easiest killer to do it on. :/

Poor Bubba gets such a bad name, when he's really the best boy with a whole lotta heart to give. I mean, the dude's add-on is Chili of varying qualities. He's just fun and wholesome for the whole family. I love chasing people around, howling and swinging my chainsaw everywhere... it's so fun.

  • Yeah, that keeps happening to me as well on PC. I'm rank 9, will frequently go against Rank 1-4 Survivors. And if not, definately purple. Almost never see a green or yellow survivor.

My theory is there's a high ranked Killer Drought. I have no idea how anyone plays an M1 killer who can't break loops at high rank without quitting the game in the current Survivor Perk Meta. But that's just my theory.

After a long enough wait, high rank survivors get to beat up on a baby killer.

So I’ve been getting better with mouse and keyboard to the point where I can somewhat hold a good chase in solo que. I’ve experimented the past couple days on what could get a killer to commit to you (because they never do). Object of Obsession doesn’t work, spam vaulting doesn’t work, clicking doesn’t work, waving at the killer doesn’t work, but I finally found out how, just play a default survivor and they’ll think your a baby at the game and then they’ll chase you. I’ve been playing baby meg and the killer almost always tunnels me and seems to get mad of the fact that they’re getting ran by a baby meg. But yeah there’s a little tip for those that wanna buy your team some time. My team never seems to hold chase longer than 30 seconds. But yeah good luck and see y’all in the fog!

As a Killer Main, if I see a survivor standing out in the open, waving at me... they become my last priority. That always feels like someone way too confident in their chasing skills. I'll chase if I have literally no other option, but if I see that person running to a jungle gym, I'm bailing.

I'm looking for the slow antelope of the herd to get a quick hook in the opener.

Survivors? Nah bruh. Since the release of blight, killers are being more and more toxic. And so survivors are figuring how to counter

Pretty sure Survivors were running those perks well before Blight.

  • Couldn't agree more. I run NOED on crap killers (or killers that I'm crap on) when I'm trying to unlock teachables or do a daily. No apologies. While I'm handing out free wins, I'm going to at least make the last 1-2 minutes interesting... and if someone's bad enough to get seen before the gates opened, then bad enough not to outplay me on a killer I'm garabage with... and everyone abandons them or fails to unhook him, well, they lose... and I hope he gives me some salt, because salt turns even a 1K into a win for me. :D

  • Every game, Killer gets posed a problem:

"You can either deal with DS, UB, SG, BT and the most boring survivor meta ever... or listen to the devil on your shoulder and slot a good time."

Even if Killer be like: "Nah, Moris are toxic."

... Game be like: "THEN HAVE 1 ON EVERY BLOODWEB UNTIL YOU TAKE THE HINT."

  • The fact you put Billy at Not-Tier S means you know nothing about hook camping. ;)

  • @lowiq said:

You literally answered your own question in the first sentence of Point 2.

Huntress has to charge up her hatchets. Which introduces interactive counterplay.

This is fair. Once you get good at quickscoping on Deathslinger, it's pretty hard to dodge him. You basically have to be constantly wiggling during chase, which just means he catches up to you.

Of course, Huntress also gets a hit box the size of half the screen... whereas you actually have to have good aim on Ole Limpy to use his power well.

  • Did they actually say that? If so, that's the most cherrypicked dataset I've ever seen. How about look at everyone above Rank 10... or filter out anyone who hasn't unlocked Laurie or the Teachable first (at least!), then tell me what perk is used more than DS. lol

  • The survivor meta is just unfun to play against. Is DS alone OP? Probably not. Just the combination of perks Survivors run just adds so much time to a survivors clocks. It feels like everyone has BT, everyone has DS, everyone has DH or SB. Everyone has some combo of UB/Adreniline/Soul Guard. And even if you don't, you have to pretend they do... because otherwise you eat em.

It's just not fun to play Killer vs. survivors running meta.

  • It's pretty much impossible to unhook in front of a camping Billy or Bubba. So why are you trying? If he's camping, that's 2 minutes to do gens. Pop 3 of them and it's a fair trade.

  • My biggest issue with DS is since it's so powerful, you basically have to treat everyone as though they're running it unless by some miracle, no one is running any perks that flag an obsession at the start of the game.

If Survivors don't run it, they essentially have a 5th "Phantom Perk" that I still have to play around, since the only way I'll learn if they have it is by eating it. If there was some way to know whether or not they had it, it would be a little more fair - but since you can't, you just have to assume everyone has it and not pick them up for awhile after they've been hooked more than once.

  • If you wanna find God Tier survivors, only way is to play Killer. :D

They cease to exist in solo Q survivor.

  • M1 killers are so freaking hard to get good with. I pushed to Rank 6 with Anti-Loopers in my first couple months playing... switching to an M1 killer is just painful. lol

Okay, well allow me to enlighten you. It takes 4 minutes to bleed out. That is 4 minutes of earning 0 bloodpoints or doing anything meaningful. It takes far less to die on a hook and if you aren't enjoying the game experience then you always have the option to sacrifice yourself and move onto the next game with no disconnection penalty or loss of bloodpoints. There. Lesson over.

It sounds like you primarily don't like slugging because it makes it more punishing to ragequit. Not sure that's the most persuasive argument you could make, but appreciate the lesson.
