GF can out tea-bag any Survivor.
Just saying.
-
lmfao massive shaddow nerf to freddy, removal of traps and sleep state leaving just teleport.
wd behaviour. wd.
-
I've done some rough calculations factoring in my 2 year break from dbd since I started in 2016 which brings my 2686 hours to be roughly 26 minutes spent per day for 2 years

Wait, did they nerf DS?
I'm hoping for a DS nerf where all it does is stun the killer giving a survivor ally a short window to pull them off the killers shoulder making DS so situational survivors are forced to adapt to new tactics and perks.
-
What happens when you balance a multiplayer game. Crutchlords who are used to having their hand held cant play without an easy-mode option so they leave to find a new crutch.
The rest of us just adapt, push through the nerf and become better despite it.
-
Extinction level key nerf, coming soon to a patch near you.
-
Only useable once EGC has begun, you know to be on par with the Mori nerf level of uselessness.

after playing the Twins and learning how to use them I found there best addons and this is not good. They have MAD PIG DISEASE. This is a disease where your common and uncommon addons Are the best and better than the very rare and ultra rare addons this is not good basically her 2 best addons are
Bloody black hood and Toy sword.
Basically black hood decreases the time it takes for Charlotte to be awoken from her dormant state and toy sword decreases Victors time to charge pounce.
This is awful Now we have 3 killers suffering from Mad Pig Disease Pig, Demogorgon and now The Twins I smell a addon pass in the future.
You forgot Deathslinger, some of the worst iridescent killer addons in game lol

On Killer I want a rift task done I just let the Survivors know and BAM, done in one match zero toxicity
On Survivor I want a rift task done I end up spending 50 to 100 matches over a week or so grinding it out doing anything and everything in my toxic arsenal

Survivors hit box as Victor is literally a fleet of trucks carrying a barn

This is my everyday solo build. It has gotten me to red ranks.
- Bond: It does everything you need a perk to do. It shows you where people are doing gens, where people are getting chased, who needs healing, who to go to for a heal, who's bringing the killer to you, who's running to the hook, who's not running to the hook, etc. It's the best healing perk and also the best information-providing perk.
- Kindred: Same principle, but more situationally specific. I think Kindred is an amazing perk after its buff, and it's just as effective as Borrowed Time for getting clean unhooks if you use it right. It also tells you when the killer is camping (and thus when to just do gens), you can see when the killer is placing traps around a hook, you can see who's closest to go for the save, etc. If I feel like switching things up or need a specific perk for a Tome challenge, this is the perk I sub out for something else, but Kindred is my default.
- Lithe: My favorite exhaustion perk, since it gives you the most direct agency over when to activate it, and it forces you to pay close attention to your positioning. In situations where you need it, it often also winds up putting a big barrier between you and the killer. There are a lot of good arguments for every exhaustion perk, and it's mostly down to personal preference, but this is my favorite.
- Spine Chill: Gives you definitive notice that the killer is headed in your direction, and that you have lost the killer in a chase. Also hard-counters stealth. I cannot play survivor without this perk.
I quite like the combination of:
Quick 'n Quiet - to vault silently
Lithe to break - into a sprint after vaulting
Dance With Me - to leave no scratch marks for 3 seconds
To essentially Vault silently into a sprint leaving no scratch marks afterwards
Also Spine Chill is essential to this (and all) builds
But as it's the solo queue you'll need to bring a med kid because you can't rely on anyone to heal
-
Spine Chill / Kindred / Alert / Self Care works wonders on solo queue
-
I would have thought never being seen the entire match would be pretty 'boring'
Spine Chill + Kindred + Alert + Urban Evasion + Blendette = Profit
Far less obnoxious than the standard meta and nobody complains about it because the killer never sees any of these perks in action.
Which is also why they never get looked at even though they are incredibly powerful. Passive aggression for t3h win.

For xenomorph its less the pallet that confuses me as its a flashlight. I could trick my brain into shutting up long enough to convince it the pallet didn't stun so much as surprised it. Xenomorphs don't have eyes. Like.... at all. The whole point is that you don't know where its looking. How would you blind it.
Pennywise makes sense tho. The pallet is battery acid.
I'm wondering what exactly your blinding with Pyramid Head lol. Probably light sensitivity more than anything to do with eyes?
-
You can't have Sam or Dean without Castielle. So that's 3 Survivors and which Killer? Probably none like they did with Ash

They cost 1000 auric but if you do the rift you get all of that back. I used those cells to buy licensed characters that I would have had to spend real money on anyways. Even if you didn’t do any of the challenges you could have earned some of those skins just by playing every day. If you didn’t check the rift to see if you did or not well that is all on you.
Remember people, in real life whoever has the most fun before the end wins =D
Might want to get that misery checked there. Cant be good.
-
And that my friends is why keys are getting an extinction level nerf.
Shame that.
-
Two bloodweb offerings:
One thickens mist and gives advantage to Survivors but costs 3k bp
The other is completely useless and costs 7k bp
I know which one I'm going for:
-
I like to think that an entity such as this would exist outside of time, space and dimension to access all and no points simultaneously to it's unknowable malign designs.
-
The unrest is strong with this thread. 229 comments and 8 pages later cant be wrong.
-
Could you imagine stacking 4 gen regression perks? 800% gen regression lol
-
We'll have Bill Bailey as a Survivor and Dennis Leary as Killer
Maybe Christopher Walken and Adam West too with a Phill Collins skin for Victor
Spring Trap didn't make it off of ptb either.
-
@OniWantsYourMacaroni said:
Thing is,you got them for free in the rift and now you have to get them with shards.
And like other already said, this was known since several months.
They and the entire rift contents cost 1000 auric cells which translates to real life currency.
Not that I'm particularly bothered as they are both sitting on my cosmetic shelf gathering dust. If people want to buy them for earned currency all good.
-
Console auto aim assist bot (for the dextrally challenged) 4t3h win
-
Mori is essentially a cosmetic 3rd hook option, the 7k price needs to go as they are just taking up space in my blood web.
-

Moris are technically removed, so with your argumentation it is ok to remove keys, too. Both were op bc they could shorten the game. Moris cannot do that anymore, keys should get the same treatment.
So no hatch escape with a key before all gens are powered.
Hey how about hatch escape is only available during EGC? that sounds about fair lmao
-
I go afk, do some housework, come back and find a match without twins.
-
My moneys on a massive cooldown on his traps making him completely invalid like most premium killers so he can no longer be called 'pay 2 win'.
-
Because if your face camping your not earning points by:
- Finding other Survivors
- Chasing other Survivors
- Hitting other Survivors
- Hooking other Survivors
- Using your secondary ability against other Survivors
- Breaking pallets
- Kicking generators
-
Ebony mori should be 3k brown tier cost. All other moris should be free (because their just that bad)
-
Now that Moris have been nerfed into extinction, can we also nerf their cost? 7000 bp is a little steep for the iridescent mori which is barely worth a 3k cost now.
I just don't want to have to shell out 7k bp for a junk tier bloodweb item that I'll only choose if it's the only path to completing said blood web.
-
So when are keys getting nerfed then?
-
I bought 20 rift levels just to complete it. lol
-
PH did Mori's right

I agree, it seems pretty strange to me that I don't see many people talking about this. I guess everyone just kind of accepts that it'll happen sometimes on move on?
They do, they're just not very articulate about it because they call it 'boring' gameplay without pinpointing the fact that either one side or the others skill doesn't factor into the outcome.
-
@Hyd said:
The advice is spot-on unfortunately. If you're up against a high experience Nurse, you're most likely screwed. Her Power, in the right hands, essentially nullifies the primary Survivor strategies and tactics - you can't run, you can't loop, you can only hope that she messes up and gives you a chance to gain enough distance to hide in a locker for a minute lol.
A game where everything hinges on one persons skill and the other persons skill doesn't even factor into it no matter how good they are is flawed. In fact it's not really a multiplayer game at all and bears more semblance to a single player game.
-
I mean it's not even well thought out, articulate trolling. All it does is make them look unintelligent.
The first thing that hits me when I see stuff like that is 'omg I feel sorry for how much of an npc you are'.
-
I swear the auto aim and range on Victors pounce is hilarious. There is no consistency, his pounce lands no matter what you do. Seriously it's really bad. They need to stop hand-holding console players, remove auto aim and actually put some skill back into the game with manual aim.
-
they'll give him one trap per match on a 20 minute cool down no doubt
-
It's the same with Tenacity to recover while crawling fast + Flip Flop to add wiggle progression to that + Boil Over to make killers life carrying you to a hook difficult then add Power Struggle to that and you've wasted 4 perk slots for one extremely situational event.
That's 4 perk slots that still won't do anything 9 times out of 10 because there's at the very least one hook every 3 steps taken. I've never managed to get the Tenacity / Flip Flip / Boil Over combo to be of any use to date.
-
@Bwsted said:
Victor is not necessarily in an obvious position and his shriek has a 12m radius when idle and it can be increased with add-ons. The moment you step into it you trigger killer instinct and the killer can switch to Victor in 0.25, meaning the survivor has no time to do anything. So, you have to enter shriek radius while already crouching. People would have to crouch to the hook from 1 & 1/2 tiles away and more likely 2 tiles at least to be safe. Not counting the waste of time, they still run the risk of being interrupted by Charlotte.
Charlotte is not as good at camping, because the transition takes 3 seconds, but she can still circumvent BT.
It's sad that Urban Evasion is a must have to even begin to counter this killer.
-
meh I never use torch so all good. Doesn't affect me lol.

i said deal with it, survivors have a billion ways to deal with slugging and camping
You ask a person to 'deal with it' if they don't find a games mechanics fun and pretty soon you'll find yourself playing said game by yourself because all the people you told to 'deal with it' did just that and left for a game that's actually fun.
So again, I guess if your fine with playing an empty lobby simulator sweet as.
But if your not, and you'd rather be able to actually get into matches rather than playing that empty lobby simulator I guess you'd just better 'deal with it' yourself because that's what you'll be getting with that mind set lol.
-
Killers are timeless from where they are picked up and Survivors are used up like double A batteries and discarded.
It's in the rift lore somewhere.
-
You do know what happens to games that aren't 'fun' right? Nobody plays them because they're not fun.
Doesn't get much simpler than that.
So if your good with playing an empty lobby simulator everything's fine the way it is.
-
All other ranged killers have a lot more opportunity to practise ranged attack with far less punishment involved which nobody can really deny with a straight face.

Why is it that people use the term 'boring' incorrectly all of a sudden? If the killer is OP the last thing it should be is boring.
'Boring' translates as 'too hard so why bother trying'
-
Don't go for unsafe unhooks and you'll see less hook suicides
