I haven't been able to bring myself to play for the last 20 days since Jan 29th and I have no idea why.
Probably has something to do with the 2,743.8 hours of dbd game time lol.
-
Still no totem counter
-
Spine Chill should only increase gen repair speed (then nobody would use it)
-
There are only 2 Leatherface strategies available:
- Tape Keyboard to head + Bash Mouse with forehead = Profit
- Keyboard + Mouse + Cat + Afk = Profit

Really? I make this long post and you are complaining about the wording. Is that neccessary? I thought its obvious that i doesnt mean pay to win with money. Is my post not clear enough?
Are you trolling me right now?
No I'm being serious, you can't buy bp with money. The only way you can get bp is by playing the game:
- To earn bp
- To earn shards with xp earned in game and buy it from the shrine of secrets
There is no option to buy bp so it cant be p2w
-
PayPlay To Win is the only way to get bp -

how could you forget about Adams pebble?
would also go nice with the killer distraction build
lol I might try that. Deception / Red Herring / Diversion / (cant think of a 4th one right now so maybe Kindred or Spine Chill just to make testing it out easy)
-
I usually spend the first 3 to 5 minutes setting up traps on Trapper
By the time my Shack Basement (it is important that it is the Shack Basement) is prepped 3 to 4 gens have popped (which doesn't matter) and I've usually downed one of them and carried them to their doom.
The first Survivor then attempts to rescue them, both are now permanently trapped within that basement, same for anyone else stupid enough to try a rescue attempt.
4 traps laid nowhere in particular around the shack basement -until- you get the first Survivor hooked in said basement then you move to one on either side of the window and one at each entry
Perks:
Agitation / Iron Grasp / Unnerving Presence / Distressing
This formula usually guarantees a 4k

Unless someone brings Ace In The Hole the survivor is only getting items which is essentially the survivor version of the killer power. They aren't getting add-ons or offerings from it.
Yeah this concept is asymmetrical because Killers don't get Med Kits / Maps / Tool Boxes / Keys / the sort of things you'd find in a chest with Plunderers Instinct so naturally it wouldn't apply to something the Killer doesn't even have which is why I suggested it apply to on further reflection just Addons as Survivors cant get offerings within match at all

It's when you punish people for playing a game that they stop wanting to play that game and go elsewhere for their entertainment.

Most definitely isn't killer sided, can tell you that from experience.
My ping is always around 30ms and my console is put in dmz so there should be little to no delay there, got between 700 and 800mb/s up and download.
Played against an Arabic swf team with their lowest ping being around 250 and the highest even went to just over 800.
I can tell you, even when I was running up against them I didn't get awarded the hit.
So it's definitely a server issue or coding issue, it just favours the person with the most terrible connection and not how it should be, the one with good connection.
Wether it is killer or survivor, if you have a bad connection you will gain a advantage over the good connection.
Step 1: killer is hit with pallet
Step 2: killer hits survivor THROUGH pallet with standard m1 attack
Step 3: killer sided hit registration
Infallible logic.

What do you play on? Console, Steam, Windows Store? I know that the Windows Store DBD is TERRIBLE to play on. The optimization for it is A W F U L and every single review tells you not to buy it there. Are you playing from Windows Store?
If not, I have no idea otherwise. Steam and console seem to be fine. You may want to reach out to support and ask about it. Maybe they can help figure out what is going on.

The funny thing is hit validation is supposed to be server-sided. Not killer-sided anymore. The devs openly stated that the hit was still killer-sided after dedicated servers, but validation now makes it server-sided.
I personally don't mind getting those crazy hits too often, but this one was just a little too ridiculous to sit well with me. :X
So how does one explain the killer being able to hit the survivor -after- the pallet has been pulled down. Sure killers are allowed to hit survivors through windows with M1 but not pallets as they cant reach unless they have a ranged attack that can go through / over the pallet.
It can't be explained other than with good old Occam's Razor would suggest the simplest answer to be that killers hit detection is favoured over survivors.

I was trying my absolute hardest to get a Shadowplay of the game I was just in, but it didn't work.
Anyways, I was against a Ghostface and dropped a pallet, the pallet was fully dropped and he had been stunned, and then swung and I went down as I started running from the pallet.
He picked me up and started teleporting all over the place.
Later on, I tried to Dead Hard against him and was always half way through my animation and went down, exhausted. The exhaustion wasn't even refunded.
I just saw YESTERDAY on the forums that someone had videos as Kate against a Freddy with all the same issues.
Did the devs even code hit validation to do anything? Anything at all? Because obviously it doesn't work and just causes Huntress and Oni issues and literally nothing else. Are the servers just too slow or bad to actually acknowledge hit validation?
Getting hit after you stun a killer with pallet is the most frustrating thing ever. Proves that hit registration is killer sided.

My Survivors always take Small Game, here are some problems I run in to with it:
- You never know how many totems have been broken because unlike generators there is no tally as to how many are left to be completed. So you don't know weather its time to stop doing bones because you've done 4 and a team mate has done the 5th one so its almost always a guessing game or a matter of luck as to weather or not you complete them all or not.
- And by then you've almost always wasted the entire match looking for the last set of bones when its already been done or just cant be found.
- If you've 'done bones' its again almost always at the cost of everything else in the match because if you stop doing bones they don't get done before egc begins so by the time it comes to leave your team mates are either already dead because you couldn't spare the time to rescue / heal them or do gens and you end up with less bp at the end for it.
- Its effectiveness vs bones is GREATLY diminished when your up against Freddy, Trapper or Hag because you get a LOT of false positives with bone locations wasting far more time than usual because you spend most of your time searching for bones that end up being a trap of some sort.
SOLUTION:
- Doing bones needs a MUCH greater reward. Say 5k bp per bone pile then everyone would be climbing over each other to get them.

Good old Occam's Razor working its magic right there 'the simplest answer is most often correct'

You can't make this kind of stuff up lol. True story (or as true as a lucid dream can be at least - bearing in mind the brain can't tell the difference between dream and reality) Moral of the story, I absolutely do not recommend looking into a mirror if you find yourself awake within your own dream. lol
-
Inner Strength + Do_Bones.exe = Profit
-
Doctor + Tape keyboard to head + Bash mouse with forehead = Profit
Any or no perks need apply.
-
I would play him more but Killer queue is like 3 hours long so /Survivor.exe it is
-
Just /Basement_Trapper.exe and your gate switch trap dilemma poofs into imagination land
-
External program not built into the core structure of the game that enhances the players performance is cheating? No you don't say!
. . . Yet we have audio coms on swf that goes unpoliced.
-
Every bubba in the entire history of dbd from when he first landed on ptb has been an absolute, complete and utter sweaty sack of crutch meat so I wouldn't feel too bad. It's not like your breaking a trend here or anything.
-
If I get the sense that other Survivors are going to try and farm me with unsafe unhooks while the killer is near then I'm doing my absolute best to leave that match as quickly as possible via hook suicide before they get the chance.
-
I switch between Trapper, Legion, Wraith, PH, Nurse, Freddy and occasionally Bubba when I want to shock the hell out of Survivors by not being a complete and utter sweatlord

I think the intention was for Lucky Break to prevent blood orbs, and Haemorrhage to produce more blood orbs, but then the devs went “but what if all 4 survivors run Lucky Break or No Mither, then Oni won’t have a power”.
Because, yeah, that’s gonna happen, lol, and oh, because Oni totally doesn’t get instant blood orbs on hit and downs. Yeah, that doesn’t happen.
By that reasoning then Spine Chill should not work on Ghostface, Pig, Wraith and maybe Myres lol

Actually it never has, people expected Lucky Break to hard counter Oni in the PTB however you still produce blood orbs. It works the same with things that apply hemorrhage, despite leaving more blood pools, you don't leave any more blood orbs than you would normally.
Wow that is just super lame lol
-
Don't bleed.
Yui's perk Lucky Break will achieve this.

No need to get personal with me. I don't have much free time to watch a streamer put up a limited use code.
Its funny because multitasking has been scientifically proven to be less efficient as doing one job well before moving on to the next one yet people still scream praises about multitasking, being horribly misinformed about it being a 'good' thing.
-
Give console auto aim assist and your good.
Oh wait, they already did that.
lol
-
Scrublord face camping bubbas.
Everything else is bearable.

This bit from your user guide speaks to this thread well:
"No one can make you feel compelled, you do not feel compelled to stay in the game. Even if your team members see it differently, they will not suffer a decisive disadvantage if they leave the team prematurely. All they have to do is be more careful and make fewer mistakes.
If you want to leave early, it's through a hook. Simply accelerate your player's death by taking advantage of the rescue attempts and not pressing the spacebar.
That's legitimate and okay."
-
If the worthless sack of poorly constructed atoms sitting behind the killers monitor is sweating harder than a sack of really sweaty loser meat then I'm leaving for another match. And so should all other survivors in that match in order to discourage such play style in hope that its eventually removed from the game.
-
I think I have every achievement EXCEPT for adepts lol. Just cant be arsed.
-
Freddies power isn't dream snares / pallets / teleport. It's the ability to tape the keyboard to your forehead and bash the mouse with your head to win . . . while afk
-
meh. happens sometimes. especially when the killer brings that much sweat.
-
Heres my 2 step program:
Step 1: Afk
Step 2: Join new match and hope its against a killer that has counter play that relies on skill rather than luck
Or you could try my 1 step program:
Step 1: Stop playing dbd till they balance spirit to require skill
-
Voice Chat in dbd is like Poker where a person goes around telling you what cards everyone has.
-
Clues in the killer title "Twins"
They're not mother and son, they're Siamese twins.
-
Turn killers into cosmetics like Survivors are then we can have Bubba's with Nurse Blink XD
-
Here's my 4 step program to enlightenment and ultimate happiness:
- Not caring what other people think about themselves.
- Not caring what -you think- other people think about themselves.
- Not caring what other people think about you
- Not caring what -you think- other people think about you

Ashamedly formerly a Freddy main here. He is a great set of killer training wheels.
But seriously people, Freddy, because every -multiplayer- game needs an easy-mode, hand-held, babied, pay 2 win option stuck behind a pay wall . . .
. . . Oh wait, no that's just -single- player games. Easy-mode pay 2 win hand-holding in -multiplayer- games just kills the game.
Freddy is easy-mode pay 2 win people, it's why people choose to leave the match early against him. Come on people it's time to own up, take his nerf like a man, adapt and become a better killer for it.
Or don't, you could also choose not adapt and choose to complain for months / years on end in forum threads that will go nowhere but fall on deaf ears, that's also an option =D
-
There's a slew of perks that make gen kicking better.
In fact, here's three! (though there may be more that I care not to research into)
Pop from Clown - Everyone knows that one
Surge from the Demogorgon
Oppression from The Twins
Probably a good combo there.
-
Freddy balance nerf (because OP), coming soon to a patch near you!
-
Some people are deeply and fundamentally unhappy with their lot in life.
These people tunnel and camp in a vain effort to mask their misery and to claw back what little control they can over their powerless, menial lives.

From wikipédia: Conjoined twins, also known as Siamese twins, are identical twins joined in utero.
They're not conjoined twins, otherwise both should have same gender.
Who cares, the logic behind my statement is still correct despite whatever nit-picking fact you want to troll out of google search. They're twins, not mother and son. And again, who cares. lol.
-
Conjoined twin would be the correct term seeing as they are twins and not mother and son.
-
We cant have toxic red ranks languishing in eternal empty lobby simulated hell now can we? . . .
. . . Wait that sounds like a fantastic idea, somebody implement this immediately!
-
Every Leatherface since the beginning of time has been a giant sweatlord. This is nothing new.

There's a meme in here somewhere. I just don't have the energy to put any thought into it so here's a cat with bacon taped to its side:
