You do it on the menu where you decide if you are survivour or kiler, right?
I know nothing about the switch, sorry about that but yes as far as i know it works on the main menu.

Im on console as well always have been and mostly likely always will be (I never had a PC ever) but yeah I agree with you it's all the same game and we are all into the DBD life together!

im pretty sure the devs have said that they are looking at ds so I suspect it will get a nerf at some point
The thing that gets me is the ones that body block with it or sit on a gen in your face right after unhook most of the time i go for the one that saved the one off the hook cause I like to make sure they get the points for a safe unhook. It just drives me a little nuts when the ones with DS are so blatant with it and try so hard to abuse it. But it is what it is.

Yeah this is why I hate playing in red ranks as killer because it's nomal for every surv I go against has unbreakable DS, dead hard. At least those 3 the last one normally one of the other meta perks. But it makes me play different because I have to expect everyone has DS at least. 9 times outta 10 they do have it.

Been holding onto this one for a while. Mainly because I can't think of add-ons or perks. Help with either appreciated.
My idea for the concept is a killer that lurks in the shadows.
So it's pig with out reverse bear traps but can go in lockers. I feel like a killer power like that would most likely only work once or twice if your lucky. As soon as they know what killer it is they gone stay away from all lockers. Then just an M1 killer? Doesn't really sound fun to play as a killer like that either I mean what is there to do at the start of a match go in a locker and hear 2 or 3 gens pop? This idea can be achieved if you just use trapper and don't place any traps or pick any traps up.

On Prestige characters yes they are rare because the event items are common
Prestiging your character lessons the chance of common Rarities and your blood web. I didn't prestige anyone and have no trouble getting the event items.
Just sharing my experience, not saying this is fact. Because I don't know, just my opinion based on what's happened in game for me.

As killer you can't see if the bar is going down or not you just see if there in deep wounds or when they mend it goes away.

Survivors can get over 32K, because it's not the Objective category. It's just uses the same symbol as the Objective category.

That is not best build for wraith honesty.
I know and some times it don't work but I use what I have for wraith and have fun with it but the build worked for me this game for the most part. I just want all the points I can get. So I haven't been letting anyone out lately

It is from the crowns. I had a 32750 game and the crown is 750. So you had an almost perfect game off by a couple hundred giving you that 32572. Without the crown you would not have gotten 32k.

I'm not sure that's the case here, though. Gateaus are common rarity and I get plenty on a P3 lvl 50. Medkits and flashlights seem to be a lot rarer and in that case a prestiged bloodweb should actually help.
They only cost 3K BPS in the web
But I was just saying they're not rare for me on my non Prestige characters I get a few every web and 2-3 cakes as well.

bad news for me then, i have that character p3 claud. is not my main but used to and she is the only one who i have the old event stuff, i mean i got 1... so i already have them all to see them there wich is nice, but i would like to have like 10 and 10 each or so if i want to play someday with them i can and not just needing to use a white ward.
Yeah I just never prestiged my characters because I never felt like it was worth it and didn't want to lose anything so hold everyone at 50 unless they give me a reason to do other wise. My advice would be for you to go and search chests in game without plunders equip. Because plunders also effects the item to be something better than common.

I hear ya but I haven't had any problems getting flashlights i have more flashlights then medkits on my survivors and I didn't Prestige any of them at least not the ones I'm putting points into.
Im thinking there's a better chance to get them if the character isn't prestiged. I'm just saying is all.

If you go through blood webs on a non prestiged character you're way more likely to get event items.
Prestiging a character lessons the odds for common items in your blood web and all the event items are common I believe.

That's not to say that you aren't doing something nice, but the emblem system and bloodpoint system aren't meant to reward you for being a nice guy, they reward you for playing well.
That said, part of the reason why it's such a nice thing to do is because you're sacrificing something for yourself to give to someone else. You're giving up points and giving them points instead. If you were rewarded all the same no matter what, it would create an expectation that you should always do it. You don't lose anything by doing it, so people would naturally assume you're being selfish if you hooked them and denied them points. That part, more than anything, I'm not crazy about. Suddenly doing what you're supposed to do makes you a bad guy.
I hope survivors could understand this one day but most of them don't

My opinion would be Clown and Wraith are underrated as far as killers go
And I don't think survivors matter because they are just a skin they all do the same thing.

Too be completely honest I played dbd a lot in the past and took a long break and just got back into it again because another group of friends started playing but strangely enough I guess I've never noticed the bug until now or totally forgot about it. You're welcome, but it used to happen to me a lot and it sucks having to keep restarting your game but here lately it hasn't happened to me much at all.

Yeah it happens all the time all you gotta do is restart your game and have your friends restart their games and it'll be good again for a bit its a bug that been in the game for ever and dont think they're going to fix it. It happens because DBD was never mint to play with friends. The idea in the beginning was a solo experience for everyone that played

i find it annoying becuase the console version is inconsistent without the head, and it's like this for every single character
Must of just been a ps4 thing cause mine has always been the way it is on PC i play on Xbox btw

Wow, your right I feel like moron I thought if you had the toolbox in hand then it should decrease repair speed on gen when I first started playing this game for some reason I thought when it said toolbox repair (R2) I thought it meant repair the toolbox itself, well it does say repair and toolbox repair you could read that two different ways I thought it meant you could get more charges from you pressing R2. Hope my game improves slightly thanks man.

All i did to get this done was hit them with hatchets and i didn't hook any of them the whole game they went around and picked each other up after a bit then i just downed them again rinse and repeat of course they all got out because I didn't hook any of them but it didn't matter to me the challange was the only thing on my mind

How are all the survivors gonna keep hiding in all the bushes if they have a big gold crown on there head?
Gonna be easy spotting for all those players that only hide and do nothing else.
