Its like saying that old brand new parts/ old insta-heals/ old iridescents hatchets weren't problematic either.
There's a big difference between an insta Gen, skipping the objective completely and killing someone as quickly as possible, which can still take a while

Surely, camping and tunneling is a necessary strategy for killers... i don't have a problem with it "as soon as it is done"; but there is some form of it i find problematic (like bubba camping and pyramid head tunneling).
But they're not problematic, they're just using their Power effectively (aside from basement Bubba, that's just funny not effective)
-
Mommy is great yes

Wow such argumentation, i'm blown away. Read this answer and increase your IQ by 100 points. Good job!
Thank you! But in all honesty, it's fair. Tunneling is fair as it's one of the few ways a Killer can get pressure. People on the forums need to remember that boring doesn't mean unbalanced and should be changed
-
Yes it's fair
-
Artist is perfect. She's good but has counterplay. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else agrees
-
This reminds me of that one dude with a Leon pfp that complained about Iron Maiden
-
This is very cool and informative, but it doesn't fix the problem of there only being 3 Killers max that can deal with Survivors at high level
-
For Survivor, Leon and Steve are kings. Leon is just a badass, like Steve but he also has really good cosmetics
For Killer, I enjoy Demogorgon and Artist the most. They probably have the best audio design in the game. Hearing both of them scream and screech is like music to my ears
-
Demogorgon doesn't need explanation, it needs food

I feel some sort of nerf coming to this killer because I know survivors finna complain about this killer.
What do you expect, Survivors don't like good Killers. She's not even OP, she can be countered but people who play on easy mode don't want to learn

well, yes, just especially rpd.
And other maps with 2 floors, but yes, it's especially bad on the worst map in the game

I wouldnt be taking a hit if someone farmed me, they can die on the hook for all I care.
Leave them for all I care, just do gens on the meantime

Still better than being farmed and 1 second later being on hook again. At least I could get some time to get to a window or pallet who knows.
Maybe, but seeing as most Survivors try to take hits, they barely get any distance and get downed shortly after getting unhooked. You'd be among the small percent that'll use those 12 seconds correctly

this would be a buff to solo q. maybe you should read one of my first comments on the thread. Yes, we can all have wet dreams about solo q being buffed, but when will that actually happen, if ever?
Probably never, if we know the devs, but your idea wouldn't change much. Killers will just wait out the BT timer
-
So Survivors can run even more second chance Perks? Maybe buff SoloQ by giving it reasonable buffs not this
-
CoH is unbalanced no matter the map

Just bring Boon: Exponential and you'll be fine
-
I respectfully disagree. I feel like Mommy and Demogorgon are more fun to face
-
It's too early to have an accurate rank for her but as of now, I'd she's around A tier, maybe lower on bigger maps but she is not lower than B tier
-
They were the first ever licensed characters in the game, and were the best adaptation aswell
-
Personally, I'd put Demo in A tier. After his Addons got reworked, I feel like he's Freddy before his nerf, but better in almost every single way.
Nemesis I'd put in B tier, where Demo is currently at, due to him being a worse Demogorgon, but still pretty good.
Cenobite should be lower. His only good Addons got butchered, which hurt him a lot.
Ghostface I'd say should go to bottom if C tier or top D. Stealth Killers aren't that good, due to how hard they get countered by SWF and looping in general.
Twins should go even lower into C tier. They get hard countered by the new Boon, which makes them obsolete.
-
Mommy Artist. She's one of the scariest Killers released recently, and is just so cute
-
Because they're not allowed to have counterplay
-
She's a little map dependent. On good maps, I'd say she's top 5 or around that number. Otherwise she's low A, maybe even high B
-
Never buy anything from the Shrine unless it's behind a paywall. Save up Shards to buy a whole character
-
I'm able to play around 5 to 6 hours worth of DbD Monday-Thursday. Friday around 7 and 8+ on weekends. I have no life

😀 Seeing him in the circus part of the map is kinda fun though.
Agreed. His Terror Radius combined with the music is pretty nice
-
I wonder why. Maybe it's because Killer isn't fun, unless you throw multiple games in a row to forcefully lower your MMR

the nurse can shred the RPD. Just like Midwitch. I am glad to hear what the clown doesnt like. I want to punch him. Please devs, give us a third hand gesture.
Please no. Our poor Clown hasn't done anything wrong

Their power was built around anti loop yes, but their special attacks are still ranged. They all stand afar and charge an ability. The twins imo are ranged because Victor has to charge is attack and jumps from far away to hurt them.
I guess I should clarify how I see ranged attacks so you can see where I'm coming from.
All special abilities that can attack a survivor outside a killers m1 lunge range. That's how I see it as. I mean no disrespect towards you.
No disrespect taken, we just see things differently, there's nothing wrong with that
-
I wouldn't say Twins is ranged. It's like saying Demo is ranged, same with Nemesis. They're antiloop Killers, not ranged
-
It actually got buffed, and that was a thing for a while

😂🤣 Depends how survivors with 10 hours cope with her and if they close the game or go to the shop after playing against her.
True
-
Everything here is accurate to what I've been gathering aswell. Let's just hope the devs are going to be smart and leave her as is, or include your ideas as buffs later on
-

Have anyone played swamp?
It's not really extra floor, but it might be broken there too...
Multiple times. If Survivors are on the big boat, you can send Crows from the shack and it will hit them. If you send crows towards shack, the Crows will go through the ground, which may or not miss
-
I feel bad for you Twins mains. Vixotr (yes, that's how I call him) has to be one of the scariest things in the game, and one of the funniest too. Seeing him running after you is terrifying. Hope they get some QOL buffs or anything
-
I wouldn't complain about facing artsy mommy, but yeah, the game is stale due to SBMM ruining any chance of variety
-
Removing tunneling and camping would remove Killers from the game entirely
-
I feel the same. Her 1v4 isn't that good imo. You see them across the map but then what? They repel and you wasted your power. Her 1v1 also isn't that good due to how hard she gets countered by ShiftW
-
Dwight looks more Killer like than Trickster
-
It's very strong against most Killers, but Nurse and Blight don't mind it that much. Nemesis tho, he is crying himself to sleep
-
Only if the game would be balanced for both sides, whibc it isn't, which is why Killers tunnel

After seeing some players complaining that The Artist doesn’t have a counteplay, I am convinced that these people have started playing DbD recently or they never evolved their survival skills. The Old Spirit with Stridor, Pyramid Head at his release, these were killers without any counterplay... Carmina is far from this status.
Playing with her and against her, I noticed some interesting things that can be used as a counterplay:
1. Run away from loops when possible. Carmina slows down while positioning her crows, this gives a opportunity to leave the loop.
2. Avoid map edges. Leaving loops is the strongest strategy, but this is more complicated to do in map edges loops, so avoid these places, it is just as overwhelming as Pyramid Head and Huntress.
3. Remove crows immediately. I noticed that several survivors forget to repel, and this means that their auras will be shown constantly, making them easy targets for the Artist.
4. Be unpredictable if you aren’t in her line of sight. I noticed that after being attacked by crows at a long distance, some survivors just run in a straight line. This makes The Artist's prediction easier to get right. Performing random moves will make it harder for her to hit crows if she's not in line of sight (and this will only work if you're repelling them).
5. Destroy the crows if possible. The nerf came to be used by the survivors.
She's a killer who requires some intelligence to go against, not just running around pallets.
Body is 1 character too short.
-
Artist is the cutest Killer they've released since Demogorgon, so it's a win in my book. The map is good looking and unique, but it's pretty big
-
@Labrac said:
Console players never repel. From what I read it seems the repel button is mapped as the same as the vault/drop pallet one, so they really can't repel at all.
They could just remap their controls, it's what I did when Pinhead came out

Thank you all for the advice.
After some thought, I decided to go with Leatherface (Bubba) DLC. After all, he's the only killer out of the ones I considered that is impossible to get without real life money, because he's licensned. So I could get the Hag for her perk eventually when I reach 9000 purple points; as well as Blight or Spirit or Legion. But if I don't take the Cannibal now, I'll never get him as well as the bloodpoints farmer Barbecue & Chilli.
What builds would you recommend me for Bubba?
By the way, I saw a lot of people playing Nemesis (another licenced killer), is he that good? why are so many people playing him?
People are playing Nemesis because he is pretty fun, not that good but quite fun. I woudknt recommend him as he isn't that easy to understand and can be very random at times due to his Zombies
-
I recommend the Leatherface chapter. It contains the best Perk for beginners, that being BBQ And Chilli, and comes with an easy enough Killer to understand
-
I didn't get to play against her, but I did get to play as her, and let me tell you, Birbie is so much fun
