  • Can we all agree that Nemesis is a weaker Demogorgon in every aspect? Zombies are the only things that are different between them and they're still not as good as Portals

Does every Killer need to buffed into Opression land?

Trickster and Nemesis come to mind as recent examples.

Trickster certainly wasn't OP and why can't that be ok. All he really needed was a fix to his Chase interactions while throwing knives so you wouldn't de-pip. His ranged ability shuts down a lot of looping options. He's weak indoors, or was.

Nemesis is pretty balanced in my opinion, certainly not OP and, unique being the first Killer with AI.

Do we really need to buff every Killer that can't ZOOM across the map or one hit down?

Trickster's new nerf turned him into the third worst killer imo and Nemesis is the most mediocre killer we got in a while. Why you complaining?

  • The closest Killer to Nemesis would probably be Demogorgon. Both of them can break pallets using their abilities and can use it zone. But I'm gonna be honest, Demogorgon is way better than Nemesis

  • @FourActor84057 said:

NERF NEMI IS IS TO FAST AND IS TOO OP

Nemesis has a movement speed of 4.6m like any other normal killer(some killers are slower) and he isn't even that good of a killer, he needs buffs imo

  • Demopuppy deserves better addons, since he only has 2 that are good and the rest are situational (imo)

His power is good. Freddy but better

  • Slinger is balanced. He doesn't need any changes. He gets curb stomped by competent Survivors, but at the same time he is a pub stomper

Nurse is an exception in every way.

It doesn't matter that this isn't solely red ranks because the game isn't balanced around red ranks.

Regardless, it proves she's far from the worst killer in the game. It doesn't mean she's totally fine as is. But she's still a great killer.

Kill rates don't mean anything. Pig would need a nerf based on her kill rate which would be absurd. I don't think she's the worst(she's the second worst imo) but she still is on the very weak side of killers and would need buffs. BTW Blight has a low kill rate despite being the 3rd best killer in the game should be enough to prove kill rates aren't good

Wraith with silenced bell + all seeing blood with a mori on badham where all the gens have obscured line of sights.

These add ons are just straight up disgusting, and wraith does not need them after his buff. Both of them combined make for a miserable time for survivors. Same with Myers’ mori add ons and Pig’s that make it impossible to search every box.

Shocker, that on death hook I got tunnelled and mori’d. Because as people say on here, they’re totally fine now!! Mori’s should not be able to bypass DS, that’s just ridiculous. Thank god they’re being changed soon, as mori’s are just an excuse to camp and tunnel.

Fix these ads ons and buff the bad ones pls

So, you're complaining that The Wraith didn't tunnel you before you were moriable and only decided to tunnel you once you were on death hook?

  • This sounds really busted, but fun. I wouldn't like to see this in a game tho

  • @PigEmpress said:

When a survivor DCs how about if their remaining lives are distributed among the remaining survivors(instead of 3 hooks it would be 4 hooks for a survivor)? It would be a small boost to the gameplay and not feel like your team got capped in the knee because someone had to leave the game.

    That sounds so busted

  • Nemesis isn't even a good killer. What are you on about?

  • Any mechanic that punishes a Killer for securing a kill shouldn't exist. Give the camped Survivor BP and that's it. The others do gens and the killer only gets one kill. A lose for killer, a win for Survivors

  • I'll be mean and choose... Territorial Imperative

  • 1. Twin

    2. Ph

    3. Hag

    In that order

Yeah, except the killer has already won with 3k, but he wants to be toxic and waste 4 more minutes of the survivors' time by refusing to participate in regular gameplay.

How is it toxic that the Killer is doing his job killing the Survivors

Just be aware that if there wasn’t a hatch play potential then I’m sure many people would play a lot more immersed because there is no real point trying to try.

Fair enough, maybe some tweaks would be needed for my idea to be more balanced

    Two things

    THE BUILD

    • Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer, the 3 horsemen of the apocalypse, followed by either BBQ / Pop / Devour Hope.
    • Blight has no perk variety, mainly because 99% of his downs are coming from his lethal rush, so perks that involve around needing a basic attack to activate them are not good on him, except for Devour, which catches the survivor off-guard & due to how fast Blight can get downs, he can achieve 5 stacks in no time.
    • On top of this, why run other builds when u can play the game on easy mode. Not to mention Blight is an S-Tier Killer & running this build on him can be highly oppressive & unfun.
    • Tinkerer allows him to literally jump from one side of the map to the other to stop gen from popping. Why it's most effective on Blight? He's a movement killer, he can dodge obstacles, he can maneuver around them, etc... Not to mention when tinkerer is active, his screams in a lethal rush are silent, you'll only hear him bump into things or when he's on top of you.
    • Ruin + Undying is a fantastic combo on him, yet again. Why? He's a movement-type killer, he can jump from one side to the other. Tinkerer activates, blight rushes to the gen, pushes the survivor off the gen & ruin regresses the gen at 200% speed. That 20-30 second chase? Goodbye 40%+ gen progress. A good blight can end a chase in mere seconds and allow him to rush again to another victim.
    • BBQ is usually the most common perk, down a guy, rush to another, keep the pressure going, etc.

    THE TECHS

Blight has hands down, the most number of techs. Looking at a guide on YT whilst you're learning Blight will instantly show how many maneuvers, techs & tactics Blight has. 10x better than learning them on your own.

    • The Hug Tech - Blight bumps into an object, whilst he's sliding forward from the bump he can slide around the entire obstacle. You can bump into the shack for example, wait till you're touching the shack, look down & then do a lethal rush, You can literally slide around the entire shack, no other killer can do this kind of thing
    • Shoulder Flick Tech - Whilst in a lethal rush, going towards a survivor while they're trying to move left or right, wait till you practically touching them & abuse blight's immense hitbox to hit the survivor. You can pull some extremely nasty hits, to a point you can hit the survivor behind you. You can't escape this, you can't dodge it, you can't do anything. However, this requires some decent reaction time.
    • J flick / Z Flick - One variation, to another. You can flick your mouse into a direction, then flick again to do a 90* turn, up to a 180* turn. However, you can do it way easier if you're on PC. Bind your E & Q to look left & right, press them, then flick your mouse in one direction to do a flick. This is hard to do, and it's down to muscle memory & once you get it down, you'll become quite deadly.

Listen, I can go on for ages listing down all the techs & stuff Blight can pull off, so I'm just gonna link you a YT video to show you those. I don't own Blight but I'm aware of those things & know how to pull them off if I decide to buy Blight. I'm a Billy main and Blight would feel like seconds nature to me, just like Oni. I learned these things because as a survivor you're supposed to learn & adapt to them whenever you're facing against experienced Blight Players. I say that, but they sometimes they can truly piss me off as it leaves me with no counterplay. To some things, you just can't really react to or avoid.

Don't forget that Blight is one of the hardest killers to master, if not the hardest. Unlike blight, Nurse has a lack of techs & her power nullifies some of the game's core mechanics, such as walls, obstacles, etc... etc...

    Here's the video in question:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sp_0PCdSOo&ab_channel=LilithOmen

That makes sense, thank you for explaining it

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

The problem OP, is that many of those killers who do Camp haven't played survivor at all.

So the reason why you don't do it, is because you've played survivor and know how cheap it feels. Many of these killers who camp wouldn't know the first thing about what it means on the survivor side because they simply don't play that side.

I don't think it's fair to say most Killer players haven't played Survivor. I played both(enjoy killer more tho) and I don't care about tunneling/camping/slugging since they're fair just like genrushing

  • Because Blight is a perfect Killer, he's strong but has counterplay. And the build you mentioned is used so much because it's probably the best build to use on Blight

  • @BigKuhfahl said:

Why are Killers in this game becoming worse at playing? It's like all they do now is Camp, Tunnel, or just Slug Survivors. Like some games, I get in the start and finish before a Generator is even touched, and if one is even being worked on. Now I play both sides Killer and Survivor but, I do play Survivor a bit more and with friends, so an SWF team but, when I do play as Killer I don't do any of that because I know what that feels like as a Survivor but if by chance I do it is because of two things one being that they have been chosen towards the end of the game and I want them to be the one to leave the game by the Exit Gate or two they block my attack to save someone else. I just need to know how come Killers are now being absolute trash at this game than what they use to back when I started playing this game back when they released Stranger Things DLC.

Killers haven't gotten worse, they have become more efficient, just like Survivors

  • I enjoy Demogorgon

  • @GrimReaperJr1232 said:

He's 32m TR killer because he's a 4.6 killer, and he's 4.6 because outside of certain circumstances with his lunge, his power isn't downing you. He's still a basic killer that you can loop normally.

Wraith's top speed is 172.5%. Spirit's BASE speed is 176% with her top speed being 272.8%

Spirit can instantly attack after phasing. Wraith needs to uncloak.

Wraith is a hit-and-run ambush killer, utilizing his stealth and speed to catch survivors off-guard. Spirit is an aggressive chase killer whose power (in theory) relies on outsmarting survivors.

These 2 share nothing but superficial similarities. Wraith is NOWHERE near Spirit's level, and isn't similar enough to enough to warrant the "downgraded Spirit" comparison.

50/50’s only happen when the survivor pulls the pallet down too late. They still happen & haven’t been removed.

Well then, the fake blood splatter threw me off lol

  • @Customapple0 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2391447#Comment_2391447

Wrong. It’s the right way to fix pallets. If the stun happens before the hit then your hit shouldn’t count, simples.

That isn't a 50/50, thats the game being bad. From my games, actual 50/50's have been removed

  • Imo, he was C tier due to the fact he wasn't a pure M1 killer, but now with his nerf, he's D tier

  • They removed 50/50's(Killer gets stunned, Survivors loses a health state) which is not the right way to fix pallets

  • I may be in the minority here, but I think Hatch shouldn't even spawn if you're stomping the Survivors. They shouldn't get a pity escape for their team dying

I have to disagree here. I think trickster has joined slinger on the list of killers who have no map pressure and the most brutal 1v1s in the game. Now could there be an argument that their design is unhealthy. Yeah probably but that’s not an objective thing. If they’re balanced they’re balanced

I respect that. Personally I don't think they're unhealthy for the game just a bit on the weaker side

And how you want to buff that in his kit? Giving him Freddy Teleport? xD

No? His buff should be that Survivors have to remove knives manually, one by one. That will give him some slowdown and map pressure, somewhat similar to Legion

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2388981#Comment_2388981

Eh, the first perk could maybe be 35, 40, 45 seconds, the timer starting after the survivor is dropped/hooked. It's really meant to avoid pallet saves, head on stuns, and survivors fast vaulting windows to get saves. The second perk would spread generator progress while losing a drastic amount. Say all generators had 30%-50% progress. At tier three, having the perk activated would set all gen progress to 40% (The median), losing an additional 15% at the end, resulting in all generators on the map being set to 25% progress. Now imagine if there was one gen remaining, three on the map. One gen has roughly 80%, other two 20%-30%. Perk activates, all gens get set to maybe 43% progress, losing an additional 15%, taking all down to 28%. That would change a lot. The perk is more or less a end-game perk, getting stronger as the final gens remain. The last perk was more or less a mechanic perk; killers have the ability to open exit gates, but why, unless you have Blood Warden? Unlike Blood Warden, however, you can't die from the end-game collapse since it stops way before it happens. The numbers should be adjusted though to 60%, 55%, 50% of the end-game timer remaining.

Power could be adjusted, just want a stealth killer that relies on gaining immediate information rather than staring/dashing (I know dashing is part of the power, it isn't the primary power though).

I still don't see the first Perk as anything more than situational. The second perk(with a numbers buff) could be really good and the third perk with that nerf seems good

If you wanted to make Springtrap a stealth killer that could gain information, I have a concept for that if you would want to see it. Otherwise, like I said, the power is fine

It honestly annoys me when people say Blight has a short cooldown, and I'm tired of it. He doesn't have a short cooldown, for the Entity's sake. His cooldown is shorter when you use less charges. His cooldown in general takes 1000 years to regenerate after using 5 tokens.

What about Demo? It has a slightly shorter cooldown than Blight for its mobility and good chase. In simple terms, it's pretty much Freddy with a cooldown 10 times shorter and a different type of chase, as well as more interactive counterplay. Time to nerf Demo I guess.

I know you're joking about nerfing Demo but hell no

Starting to play him alot lately, and he is reaaaally fun to play, which is pretty weird, since i HATED playing AS him.

However, right now i use Ruin, Pop, STBFL (my dream perk for him, even if its only tier 1 yet) and BBQ (also tier 1)

I didnt really got that much on him yet since i just got him to P3 50 and still have to get all the perks.

When the match starts i instantly look around if i spawned near a gate and place a portals close enough so i can get alerted later if someone is opening the gate.

Otherwise i start patrolling gens and start chases. If possible i will place portals near gens so i can get notified if they start/continue working on it. If possible i try to place it as hidden as possible but to be honest i mostly use the portals for tracking instead of ambushing/traveling. If i notice someone is working on a gen and i am not in a chase i will warp there and pressure them of.

As for the shred, i only use it if i know i wont hit them with a basic attack which is also mostly at windows or tight passages then.

On the obsession i only use shred since i use STBFL.

On smaller loops where you cant mindgame that much i keep faking a shred so they either drop the pallet or keep running. If they drop > shred.

If they keep running > cancel and i may can get a normal hit sometimes, depending on the distance.

How do YOU play him and did you got some tips and maybe even some builds i could use once i got the perks?

Which addons are the best ones for him and which ones should i try to always run since they are common enough?

Right now i am mostly addon less or i use barbs classes and something else i forgot about.

My go to build for Demodoggo is Corrupt, PGTW, Lethal Persuer and Tinkerer

Use Corrupt to setup a portal under the middle Gen of a 3 Gen at the start of the game then use the remaining duration of LP to start chasing survs and from there, start pressuring gens with PGTW and Tinkerer. In chases, run the long side of a loop so you have time to charge your shred to get the hit or pallet, depends on how ballsy the survivor is

  • I don't know how to feel about this. The first 2 perks seem pretty bad while the third one seems busted as it's a bloodwarden that doesn't need to be activated by a hook. The ability seems fine if maybe a bit underpowered

  • I hate the map as any killer except Demo. The hallways aren't big enough to dodge a Shred so it's like a party in there for me

  • I'm surprised you haven't mentioned Nemesis of all killers. He gives the Survivors 2 speed boosts if he hits them with his power(once for initial infection and once for a hit), extending chase by a lot

  • He is somewhat fine but this buff wasn't the buff trickster needed. It only buffed his 1v1 which was already ok. Trickster's 4v1 is what needed to be buffed

  • Played Demo on it, had such a great time. 90% of the map are hallways in which shreds are barely dodgeable. Lovely map for demo imo

  • He still sucks tho

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/265871/wraith-needs-a-nerf

Any high mobility killer, that has the ability to move from one side of the map to the other should be nerfed. There should be a cooldown delay to using the high mobility power, similar to the cooldown that Spirit has. Blight, Wraith and Billy should all have a cooldown delay to using their power since it allows them to hook a person on one side of the map and immediately be in a chase on the other side of the map.

Blight already has a cooldown on his Token regeneration, Billy has his overheat and Wraith has to uncloak if he wants to injure or down Survivors

  • The first Perk is like old Zanshin, just a Survivor Perk on Killer but it's way weaker or outright useless

Second Perk is a neat idea, but having to be Healthy and only 3 seconds worth of Scratch Marks being hidden is not good enough for the 40 second cooldown

Third Perk is just neat and fun. My only remark about it is that the Survivor that dropped the pallet shouldn't scream as it is kinda pointless. You're in a chase with them, you know where they are

  • This change would be a really nice buff to Nemesis. I personally would change it so it doesn't damage and only contaminates at Tier 1, but it doesn't give a speed boost. Otherwise this is great

  • @jeremycarinio said:

Can someone confirm this? I am still body blocked by zombie when hit?

Zombies only lose collision when blinded by a Flashlight, Firecracker, Flash Bang or Land Mine

  • While I like the idea, the power of the Hessian and a few perks would need some change. Hessian's ability seems like a worse Trapper due to him requiring set up, only being able to set up a maximum of 4 Pumpkins, and the penalty for being seen by a Pumpkin isn't big enough. As for the perks that need change, Heavy Footed is a worse Pop Goes The Weasel, because it can only be used once per generator and its such a small persentage. Viking Strength seems fine(or very good) , as I'm not sure exactly how long a 30% longer stun was. All in all, good chapter, good Survivor perks, meh Killer perks
