I don't see this really changing ever because sometimes usernames are the only way to track which survivors you've hooked or not. The game does a horrible job of distinguishing survivors who all go the same character with the same outfit. Also it's so much worse to find killer profiles because you could potentially use achievements to see who they use the most.
Well, no. The names we see could be the actual survivor’s name, i.e Claudette Morel 1 or David King 2

Just use anonymous mode as a survivor if that's an issue for you about the hours and if killer uses anonymous then the name has to be hidden cuz anonymous show the name of the character you are playing so nothing will basically change, hypothetically if killer doesn't hide their profile then if they chose to say who their main is in the profile and also if it's epidemy for example then people will obviously will dodge them, survivors will dodge them depending on the killer, survivors cannot see the killer for that so they suffer the penalty if they want to dodge the killer which basically ruins the match for the team and killer actually). There are much bigger issues then this one, while this is not even an issue.
It’s not really an issue for me because I’m on console, I know about anon mode, and I put a vote option if it really isn’t all that important.

Nah this removes any thought used for pain res such as keeping track of people who've been hooked on it so you know who to chase in the future
Fair enough 🤗

If you’re a new player, I understand your frustration for killer aura perks. However, this game isnt really about hiding anymore, even though you can. If you don’t want your aura read every match, try bringing something to hide it.
However, as you progress, you’ll learn which killers need aura perks, when your aura is being read, be able to gauge how much time you have until you’re revealed , etc etc.
Also, try playing killer with and without aura perks ( if you already haven’t) and you’ll see how important information is.
Best of luck in the fog

I thought I commented before but I guess not.
- Poppy Playtime - Catnap, Ms.Delight, or Huggy Wuggy
- Yautja
• The Crooked Man from The Conjuring
• The Babadook - his lullaby would be perfect for this game or could be a Dredge skin
• Lucifer or the Leviathans from Supernatural.
• Bleach ( the anime) - I think the Hollows were super scary
Lastly, more Resident Evil skins and maps.

Fair enough and very true

I have what I call Legacy builds for both survivors and killers, where I use their 3 main perks and one universal (once I've got the achievement). I've essentially stripped myself back purely for the fun/challenge.
I would love an official legacy mode where whoever you pick you're stuck with just their perks. Would eliminate a lot of the argument whilst not being barebones or luck of the draw (CS).
I love your legacy build!! It sounds fun.

Everyone knows the variety of licenses people request for all the time, but what characters/properties do you wish were in the game or feel would be a great fit that noone really talks about?
Poppy Playtime! I think Catnap would be absolutely amazing in DBD or even Miss Delight from Chapter 3.

Let's all stop pretending to be objective for a moment and indulge our most biased selves. We all have stuff we just can't be convinced to like, no matter how many people disagree or how lacking the reason for disliking that stuff is.
I got thinking about this when playing against a Freddy last night. I actually like Freddy's gameplay. It's varied, counterable, telegraphed and his sleep mechanic is kind of interesting.
But I hate playing as and against him, because he shows his relative age by being an early license (and he uses the awful remake Freddy too). No voice lines bar a single laugh. No noises at all when interacting with the world. Basic animations. He just walks at you with his default terror radius/chase music with all the menace of those sliding PNG jumpscare npcs from Roblox or Gmod. He feels like a modded character. And those aesthetic reasons alone make me hate playing against him because it's like someone nonconsenually hacked my game to reskin a cooler killer into this dork in a hat. I feel like I should be able to just take a swing at him and knock him out.
On the survivor side, excluding that one Lara skin because my colorblindness makes that cosmetic 100% pay to win, it's Jake. No real reason, I just hate his wiggle noise. Yeeeeuuu. Please bro stop.I can’t stand Clown’s laughs and grunts, Huntress’ stun sound, every single Artist sound, every Sable and Taurie sound, and the Knight.
I don’t have sensitive hearing or misophonia, they just sound absolutely awful to me.
And I don’t like the Knight. I don’t care that if someone says that it’s a skill issue.

I am doing survivor quests, which need me to blind Killers. I do not mind Lightborn, as a killer main, it is nice. However, trying to do these quests is genuinely painful. Many times I've considered dropping the game because as of late, these quests are unable to be done.
What I would like to see is a notification somehow that indicates that shows the killer is running lightborn in game, not post game where the information is no longer needed.
Something like a visual cue on the killer's eyes, a notification on the top right, or anything. Heck, if you remove quests that require stunning killers I'll take that also. I just want to feel like my time, energy, and items are not being wasted.
I'd even take a rare item that blinds killers through lightborn. Just something.Hey. There sort of is a way to know if the killer has brought Lightborn.
When you’re normally whining your flashlight, there’s a little sound and the light itself seems to expand on their face. If Lightborn is in play, there won’t be a sound, the light won’t expand, and the killer will just move straight towards you.

Heya, that small temporary drawback is missing skill checks. Survivors can’t look around freely all the time because they have to hit skill checks. It’s also really hard for them stay focused if there’s a stealth killer and no one is in chase

Killers :
- Pennywise from It
- Sakuko from Silent Hill F
- Big Daddy/Big Sister from Bioshock
- Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil
- Davros from Doctor Who (Would be nice if he could spawn Daleks)
- Any Werewolf
Survivor :
- Hinako from Silent Hill F
- Jim from 28 Days Later
- Isaac Clarke from Dead Space
- The 10th doctor from Doctor Who, but with multiple skins of other doctors
- Joel and Ellie from The Last Of Us Videogame
- R. J. MacReady from The ThingUnfortunately I don’t think we’ll ever get a Stephen King IP because of his strong aversion towards video games.
But I’m down for the rest lol
-
Cheating is abysmal. I’ve lost a grade because I went against two cheating killers who didn’t have one shot powers.
-
I wasn’t sure if NM was actually removed or not, but I’m so glad it was. Sure it’s funny when you’re in a SWF, but pretty annoying if you get it every match and get tunneled relentlessly.
If anything, they should also remove BT from the pool.

I mean it would work if there are a Survivor perk that gave two Survivor Item slots.
Im just spit balling ideas to deepen the game and give more Perk options.Oh no of course! I get what you’re saying. I also misunderstood what you meant by Built to Last working with killer items because I was only thinking of Wesker’s spray / the rave head bopper.
If there are ever two item slots , BTL should only work with one item at a time instead of both. Or if you choose to refill both, then the perk deactivates for the rest of the match.
-
Hmm, I don’t think Built to Last should work with killer items. But yes absolutely, two item slots for items - one for killer item and one for survivor item.
Side note- Resilience should increase the speed of opening killer chests, taking tapes, waking up with alarm clocks, etc. -
Seriously!! And can his reveal bug be fixed as well??! It’s incredibly annoying and frustrating.

if I recall correctly, I hear BHVR themselves had said that after AoT, they don't want to do limited time only skins like that again. I hope the licence will become available again someday.
the skins were never allowed in 2v8 until now, so that gives me some hope for the folks that missed out.
Ugh that sucks. I would kill for a Kenny or Annie skin. I literally get so excited every time I see either of them in my matches.
Like I would PAY for them to get the license back, even if it’s for a day. -

No, no, no – no hard feelings from my side. All good. I didn’t mean to come off as rude.
But .. BUT : honestly, the fact that strong SWFs can stack perks that, on their own, don’t do much but in combination create these crazy synergies… that’s what makes the gap between SWF and solo so unfair and massive.
It’s especially those perk synergies that make killer gameplay (especially if you’re on a weaker killer) feel super unfair against some SWF groups. They don’t even need game sense, movement, or mechanical skill – they just rely on perk synergy. You’re basically getting insta-downs on them if you watch their miserable gameplay, but they still get away just because of their perk combos.
I think the most unhealthy thing they could do right now is promote even more perk synergies by adding extra perk slots for it.
I see what you’re saying and thank you for the apology. I guess I’m used to people in this community being toxic. Im trying to edit out my sassy “ deserved day” but I just can’t right now.
Back to your second reply, I do see what you’re saying and didn’t even think about SWFs because I’m so used to playing soloq. But I do see what you’re saying and see how it can be a problem for killers going against bully squads.
If you’re in East NA, have a good rest of your night. If not, then have fun. 🤗

I see what you’re saying and thank you for your polite input. 🤗

Playing as survivor or watching videos you realize there’s so many perks that have amazing synergy.
This is literally the part where I get to laugh out loud, right? I get to, yes? Right??
No need to be rude , friend. It’s an idea I wanted to share and see how other people felt.
Have a day you deserve.

Could we make all activated Boons to stay in the game if we leave or die? Until the killer snuff it. It would actually make a bigger impact if the boon user die.
At least can we have this😇 Solo Que is harsh, and this would help a bit.
Oh my god yes!!
I love bringing Shadow Step and the Haste boon when I’m with friends or feeling helpful in soloq. But some matches can be draining and I want to move on ( I rarely ever abandon even if I’m losing because my boon will also disappear and I just don’t). But if my boon can stay after my death, that’d be amazing.

No, because this should be made basekit without a need for offerings.
Many killers and Deception users alike would enjoy this.
I see your point and think basekit would also be nice. Or they could locker auras to maps, Detective Tapp’s Hunch perk, Inner Strength , Deception, Red Herring, or any other survivor locker perk.
However, I still think we should have an offering. Survivors and killers have chest perks and can either add or subtract 2 chests.
As for Deception users, I believe the perk does have a cool down. Or if they make locker offerings then Deception could cause exhaustion for 40 seconds or so.
Either way, I appreciate your feedback 🥰
