I never knew she had a name other than The Huntress. I wonder if all the non-licenced Killers do?
Pretty much all of them do! Anna is the only killer who has a first name but no Surname given. At least until I marry her!😩

Is that the new Survivor?
No that’s Taurie who is Scottish. I was talking about The Huntress! My Pookie Bear😭

I see in interviews with the devs that people want them not only to continue but to also go back and do older characters like Dwight for example.
Does anyone else, while appreciating the talent, wish you could turn them off?
I get so distracted playing as Lara Croft or The Unknown.
I know there's a lot of people who hate Chucky. Maybe the losses wouldn't be so irritating if you weren't literally being laughed at?
Does anyone else get "distracted" for lack of a better word?
I don't mind the little "ha ha" from Freddy or the grunts of The Trapper, but the talking irks me so much.
I love voice lines personally.I would really love if Anna got a few sparse voice lines. Russian is such a beautiful and dark language and it would be really cool to hear her say some things.

you kinda forget that crucial bit where the cages work quite differently than hooks.
Unhook attempts need to go. They got rid of hook grabs.

Most 2v8 Survivor games I lose is because of this. The Killers could have 1 hook on each Survivor and nobody will even attempt to repair the final generator. It's so annoying but funny too. Nobody has a problem saving others when 1 generator remains, but they will not repair it.
I literally just played a much like this after you left. 10 straight minutes with 1 gen left and me and 1 other person where the only ones trying to work on them. It was ridiculous lol

Before I comment further… Have you seen any overtuned features or issues at all with killer or is it just survivor? This entire post reads like a complaint about survivors and a regurgitation of complaints about survivors other people have made but I want to be sure before I decide to contribute. I did read the little disclaimer where you tried to tell us you aren’t just complaining about (survivor) but like that didn’t translate to the actual post.
Is there anything for killers in 2v8 that is genuinely overturned? I don’t think there is a single thing that’s overturned considering how easy it is for survivors to win.

You can dismiss all you want but even when 2v8 is not out, survivors have the bonus for incentives to play mostly all the time.
That’s not even remotely true. It’s region based. It’s always a killer bonus for 7pm to 8am and a survivor bonus the rest of the time. There is no lack of survivors trust me.
-
That is quite possibly the weakest possible combination in 2v8. Of the matches I lost as a Huntress main it was almost always with a Deathslinger teammate

There’s no reason why it should take that long for a rift outfit to come to the store. Maybe it’ll be today!
Nope! I just checked unfortunately😭 They released some first skins that came out 6 months ago and the Knight rift outfit.
Last time they did this it was Singularities rift which was also 6 months old at the time. It seems like it will probably never release again honestly. That sucks😔

But she is CONSISTENTLY the lowest kill rate killer in the game. You can't say that is people who play her 5-10 times and then never play her again. That would mean that this game has a constant influx of new players all the time, which i doubt is true.
Idk what to believe honestly, people gaslight me all the time with that logic to explain why Huntress has such low kill rates. Even though she has lots kill rates at general AND high MMR which disproves that. But Nurse has high kill rates at high MMR so I chalked it up to newbs.
-
@Reinami said:

The data disagrees with you on a "mediocre nurse" because a "mediocre nurse" by definition would be an "average" nurse, and the data shows her having significantly lower win rates than most killers when looking at that. Even when they release "high mmr" data, she's usually in the middle at most.
As weird as this sounds I would put mediocre above average. If you put 50 hours into Nurse you are going to be pretty solid but not great but since it’s Nurse it doesn’t matter and you will clap survivors anyways.
Nurse general MMR rate is so low because of the people who play her 5-10 times and get wiped out and then never touch her again. And the Hugh MMR data she had showed she was at the top 8 with a 62% kill rate.
-
I’ve still been waiting on Nightowl Huntress and it’s been over 2 years!😭😭😭
-
Definitely needs more nerfs honestly. She’s gotten many perks nerfed and has no doubt prevented countless perks from ever making it past the concept phase. On top of keeping a lot of mediocre perks awful because if they were stronger they would be insane on her.
Even a mediocre Nurse player can 4k almost every game and A nurse with 50 hours would easily outperform any other killer in the game with 100 hours. I genuinely don’t think I have ever lost a single time as Nurse except for 2 matches where I wasn’t used to indoor map blinking.
I doubt she will ever be nerfed much more because she is basically the reason why Devs can say that this game isn’t pay to win.
-
- Play a weak killer so you don’t feel as pressured to win or be good
- Play a simple one that’s not very complex Trapper is the least complex in 2v8
- Do something else while you are waiting for a match, I like to animate in blender
Realistically the more you play the less you’ll be anxious. 2v8 can actually be more stressful because of the comeback mechanic which punishes you for being good at the game. And 8 survivors means gens can fly like crazy. I know plenty of people who can’t or never will play killer because how stressful it is but I don’t know a single person who won’t play survivor for the same reason.
Being outnumbered is always stressful. 2v8 is slightly better since it’s 2 killers but survivors are FAR more toxic in 2v8 and it’s not even close. I played 15 matches the other day and every time all of the survivors would just be sitting at gates tbagging like crazy. I was the only survivor that wasn’t toxic in almost all of my games. Just force yourself to play as many matches as you can and try not to care how they turn out.
In my 20 years of gaming this is easily the most toxic community I have ever been apart of so you should practice getting used to it if you want to play killer lol. Avoid DBD Twitter and Reddit because those places are somehow worse than the actual game. I get regularly attacked and called names for trivial things. For example I made a video saying Houndmaster was bad and needs buffs and I got called all sorts of names because other content creators say she is good.
-
I would personally love it if they made this game mode permanent and put 2-3 bots in each lobby. Make it seem like a real person though with a fake name and everything. Maybe buff survivors a little bit to counter bots being so garbage but it would be fun.

Seriously he one of the strongest and most insufferable killer to go againt. Seriously why he have so much broken stuff that make playing agains him almost impossible. For example:
- Why he has speed increase while cloaked?
- Why he has speed boost after uncloaked it makes mostly loops useless against him ( there is many times why il already vaulting but he is still get me cause stupid speed boost?
- Why flashlight dont stun him anymore while cloaked (literally it was only counterplay against hes busted power)?
- Why he has so insanely good addons that make him not just annoying but impossible to go against (fast breaking while cloaked, silent bell, gen aure, faster uncloaking and etc.)?
- And finally why he can bodyblock while cloaked its double unfair cause of his insane speed?
So to fix this broken mess he should be nerfed very heavily. Cause its not okay why so easy to play killer being that powerful that only comp SWF can do something against him. So here is fix suggestion
- Remove speed bonus while cloaked (He is already 4.6m killer and gain undetectable, more speed is unessary and broken)
- Remove speed boost after he is uncloaked (I think hes need to be slowdown after uncloaked like 8% hindered for 3 sec)
- Return lightburn mechanic
- Rework his addons to get Freddy/Pyramid Head treatment
- Make him lose colision while cloaked
Wraith is quite weak honestly
-
You should never just play one side. I fully believe if you only play one side then you have absolutely no room to make any remarks on balance in this game. Sometimes I’ll complain about a survivor perk and call it “brain dead and ez mode” and then I switch to survivor and realize that that’s not actually the case and I was wrong.
Like when Huntress was getting her buffs and people said it was brutally overpowered and unbeatable and I asked how much they played the PTB buffed version of her or played against her and they said they didn’t do either and yet they made posts calling for nerfs 🤦♂️
Too many people only play one side and don’t see the other sides point of view and it’s what’s crippling this game honestly. I would slug all the time too before I started playing survivor more and realized how lame and boring it was. Now I only slug toxic survivors but even then I barely do that because it’s so boring for me too.

If the cooldown is long enough, and the interaction took more like 10-20 seconds instead of 3 seconds, I think a perk like that could work perfectly fine.
A perk that lets you rebuild a pallet should require you to pop a full generator by yourself to gain the ability to use it AND 30 seconds to build it. 4 Shack pallets a game is NOT fair.

And they found a way around it to camp while not getting punished, next question?
You’re completely missing the point entirely so let me run it back for you. The Anti FACE Camp meter is to prevent FACE camping. The Devs have stated numerous times they think camping is a valid and fair strategy and are 100% fine with it.
Removing the ability to face camp gives survivors a slightly better chance to get the unhook, although not much better. That was the point of it. -

Except it isn't like DbD at all.
DbD first month on Steam averaged 11k players. They climbed over the first year to 17k players on average, saw a dip in their second year back down to 8.5k players at their absolute lowest, before holding steady through 2017 in the 14k range. 2018 saw growth again with the numbers around 20k. They slightly increased these numbers in 2019, before having the big jump in 2020. Since that point the numbers have been pretty consistent on the monthly average, in the 30k to 40k range with a few outliers.
Friday the 13th never had those numbers, they trended down almost immediately and once they dipped below 1k players they only had three months over the next few years that they managed to top those numbers. F13 went in one overall direction from release, down, while DbD continually grew over its first few years and then has held a steady player base size.
Again an immediate lawsuit that indefinitely paused new content never gave it the chance to spike up from new releases. If DBD got sued for some reason and couldn’t win it would’ve went out the same way. Nobody and I mean almost NOBODY stopped playing because the killer was too strong. They stopped because it got repetitive and with no new content there was nowhere to go.
So again my main point is 100% right. They shutdown because of the lawsuit and that’s it. Plain and simple. It had nothing to do with balance even remotely.

The point is he won almost all the time easily with very few escapes on average and it was a beloved game by all. This isn't really backed up by the numbers. May and June 2017 the game was averaging around 5.5k players, but then it quickly begins to dip. It might have had some people who really loved it, but there don't seem to have been that many of them.
Almost sounds just lie DBD doesn’t it? Peaks with new content and plummets afterwards. They had a loyal fan base who loved it. Simple.
-
That ability will be coming to 1v4 soon I’m sure. If I had to guess it’ll end up having a 90% pick rate.

He also could be that strong cause it was 1v7 so people had long stretches of doing things that wasn't running.
The point is he won almost all the time easily with very few escapes on average and it was a beloved game by all. A killer that was a real unstoppable (mostly lol) force and survivors were actual survivors doing anything they could to try and survive.
But in this game we have people incessantly crying because they can’t escape all the time. And we have killers who don’t feel like they are the power role at all because they are treated like a joke.
I don’t care that much about winning or losing but the most annoying thing is when survivors don’t respect the killer and swarm them. It makes the killer not feel like a killer at all. That was the beauty of Jason, if they swarmed you and jumped you you would get enraged and they couldn’t jump you anymore. Then they would all panic and run when you started gouging out their friends eyes and they couldn’t stop it.

might i remind you why friday the 13th game got shut down? Its almost as if its not fun for surviviors to lose, almost every game, to be punished for trying to play altrustically, and punished for also trying to fight back, queue times were more miserable than 2v8, and that SAYS SOMETHING
dcs arent counted in killrates, and people who off on hook often do it only if theres 5 hooks and 5 gens, which in that situation the game was over anyways
Not even close to accurate. It shut down because of a lawsuit over the very messy licensing rights to Jason. The game was well loved and the closest DBD ever had to real competition.
Almost everyone loved that game with overwhelmingly positive reviews. Nobody cared that Jason was so strong because that’s how the game was designed. The big mistake DBD made was the fact that this game was horrifically survivor sided for the first 3-6 years and was an absolute power trip for survivors.
If they never made that mistake people wouldn’t be crying so much.

Huntress definitely doesn’t need another nerf. They already nerfed her cooldown by making it 20% longer this time around. Nurse doesn’t need a nerf either, she is actually pretty bad in 2v8 honestly.

Huntress still has to worry about pallets being dropped on her head, even if she makes the play unsafe and survivors have to be smarter than usual to manage it, but once they're down, she often has the freedom to leave them down because they're predictable hits thereafter. Most of the pallets in these maps aren't so strong that she has to get rid of them, though different loop height/length matters. Generally I have not seen a lot of Huntresses breaking pallets in 2v8 outside of cleaning up after downs.
Also, 10 more games. One outlier and one cheater match, but largely supporting the same conclusions.
Game 18: Spirit + Deathslinger. 2K and Asylum, but that's irrelevant because someone was cheating. Many caged players that couldn't be interacted with, exit gate that couldn't be interacted with (which is how I died), a survivor inside that exit gate somehow. At one point, got unhooked and healed by someone across the map. Spirit had a stuck unhookable survivor on her shoulder that then extended the EGC indefinitely, forcing the killers to disconnect.
Game 19: Deathslinger + Trapper. 4k. Autohaven. This one kind of hurts my soul because the survivors played so badly and the Deathslinger was cracked, guy was a brilliant shot and his game sense for when to slug, when to cage, and when to pressure a nearby gen was perfect...and gates still got opened and half the team got out. Survs shouldn't have won this game.
Game 20: Deathslinger + Spirit. 5k. Red Forest. Killers played better than survivors, the two were very coordinated and often chased survivors into the other one while still playing separate games, and people went down quickly, but they didn't tunnel and that means gens got done.
Game 21: Deathslinger + Nurse. 1k. Autohaven. Killers got rolled – they coordinated pretty well at the exit gates, using Slinger to reel survivors out and 1-2 tapping them with Nurse, but otherwise just couldn't keep up with the pressure. Lots of double medic spam this game, both in groups of survivors and in chase.
Game 22: Huntress + Spirit. 0k. Asylum. Huntress tried to mass slug at the start but couldn't get enough momentum going and lost all her downs. Survivors seemed genuinely skilled this game, not just the gen speed carrying this time – the killers were skilled and had good macro sense, but survs were doing a lot of cheeky plays in chase and generally lasting a while.
Game 23: Wraith + Blight. 7k. Gates powered, but escape was through hatch. Campbell's Chapel. Wraith spent whole game pressuring cages and tunneling, which wasn't as effective as Billy doing the same, but was enough to shift momentum in their favor so that half the survivors were dead before the fight over the last gen started and they wiped up the remains quickly after that.
Game 24: Blight + Deathslinger. 0k. Coldwind. Killers spent the whole game together, which drastically reduced their map pressure, and slugged several survivors they seemingly forgot to come back to. Got a decent number of downs but just made too many suboptimal plays.
Game 25: Huntress + Deathslinger. 2k. Asylum. Liked to travel together andtag-team survivors for quick downs, but just didn't have enough map pressure – they were a slow duo on top of the usual duo problems.
Game 26: Trapper + Deathslinger. 8K, 1 gen left. Autohaven. This Trapper was a master of the art of “why the ^#@% is a trap here” and I'm embarrassed by the number I stepped into. Didn't tunnel, though 2 survivors were dead at 4 gens and that's likely what allowed pressure to shift. Overall killers just ran a much tighter ship than survivors. 3 Janes :D
Game 27: Wraith + Spirit. 8K, all gens done. Yamaoka. Wraith tunneled a few people out early and prevented uncages the whole game, but it was still a close call.
My bad I forgot you were talking about 2v8 lol I forgot the tiles are radically different in 2v8 since they’re so many. But In 1v4 you have to break 85-95% of pallets. That also explains why she seems much stronger in 2v8 as well.

@trapners said:
Somehow, people still claim that the game is “SURVIVOR sided”which I find absolutely insane. Do we play the same game?
First, we need to understand that kill rate does not directly correlate with win rate, but there is still a correlation between the two. We all know this.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/Z44SABXAL180/img-4089.jpeg
For example, lets say you're a sweaty Iri-4 Survivor swf- with the best chance of escaping that escapes with two survivors out. This situation would be considered a tie for both sides, right? A 2-man escape is a tie on both sides.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/YCNGFJPXZTNU/img-4090.jpeg
let's compare this with killers, I will use a “average” killer with a 58.5% kill rate; Here are his stats
- 53% of games result in a win for the killer.
- 33.96% of games are losses.
- 12.96% of games end in a tie.
This looks fair, right? However, when you look closely: Losing and tying are much closer in outcome data. Tying is only about 9-5% off of losing. Or as a fraction a little more than 1/4, Seems still fine? Combine this with the fact killers win up to 19% more and suddenly half of the “losses” for the killers are just ties.
so suddenly whilst surviviors may struggle to get 1-2 out on average, killers can consistently perform 2ks to tie the point, and at that point why even bother playing a game where you consistently lose, and when you do win its a tie for the killer?
Im sick of losing half of my games as survivior and then jumping on a new killer, mainly winning or tying if the survivors manage to hold out that long. The literal gap in winning is insane and shouldnt be allowed
This is terrible logic for multiple reason. Who knows how many free kills the killers get from Dcs and throwing on hook, for all we know the real kill rate might be 40% if survivors couldn’t DC or throw on hook.
Don’t even get me started on perks/ individual player skill. Devs want killers to have a little over 2 kills on average and this is BEYOND fair. Friday had a 90% kill rate and that was a 1v7. It’s an asymmetrical horror game the killer is supposed to be the power role and a threat that survivors need to team up and work together to overcome.
It’s actually at a point where the killers are honestly a joke and that’s what Friday did way better. When Jason showed up you were afraid, there was no body blocking, no flashlight saves, no pallets. Just running and delaying the inevitable. And stunning Jason was always super risky not to mention after being stunned too much he went into rage mode and COULD LITERALLY WALK THROUGH WALLS AND DOORS. Not to mention ignore stuns, stopping a 60mph car dead in its tracks.
THAT was an asym horror game that maintained the majority of its horror. Winning as consoler felt great and was such a difficult feat for the most part. DBD has almost none of that because killers for the most part are a joke that you run around a rock 45 times to waste time.

Do you mean for 2v8? Could you give us a screenshot? I have a hard time believing it’s that low for survivors in your region. Killer queues across regions seem really high.
I’m at work rn but I’m sure it’ll be the exact same way tomorrow, so I’ll do it then.

@Laluzi said:
Something else I forgot to mention - I do not like the Scout ability to respawn pallets. Scouts are already very good, cutting through the chaos to tell their team what's going on, but this is a specific kind of unhealthy that punishes the weaker killers and doesn't do anything to the stronger ones.
In 2v8, there's a lot of pallets. Big map, double pallets everywhere. And you're either against killers that have to play around the pallets, and spend most of the game breaking them because there's too many for them to deal with - Wraith, Trapper, Slinger - or you're up against killers that don't care about the pallets and can ignore them or shred through them - Billy, Nurse, Huntress. The only good killers that are meaningfully hampered by pallets are Spirit and Blight, and they at least can force pallet drops faster than some of the others. But for everyone else, it's just reinforcing the gap between viable killers and unviable killers.
Side tangent. I’d like to point out Huntress can not ignore pallets, I’m not sure why people think she does. Maybe 5 to 10% can be ignored. A 110 killer that moves at 77% when holding and an audible ready up sound has to deal with almost every single pallet like the rest because if you lose the 50/50 and the survivor greeds it and they end up getting a free 3 extra loops. So 9 times out of 10 the best play is to disrespect it and swing through. And the process repeats.

Thing is, data like this becomes more inaccurate the more variables you add, because the number of games is reduced. So while you might have a few thousand games of a Killer, it might only be a few hundreds when you want a specific Add On. And possibly even less if you want a combination of two specific Add Ons.
That’s a good point I never thought about, not to mention the second add on could also affect the kill rates of the other. Seeing an add on pick rate list would be cool tho.

2v8 is still very fast-paced. At least the one game I played as Killer (I probably wont sit in that many 20 minute queues to play). And well, that slugging was so popular and that Survivor gameplay was heavily reduced were pretty good reasons to change it.
I never ran into slugging that much in the first interaction because caging was so fast. There was almost no reason not to cage unless you were playing Huntress.
2v8 is fast paced for sure but hooking is so slow and clunky, you literally pause for an entire second after picking up and then hook. Even with the changes there is still almost zero interaction. Survivors never go for saves and just stick to gens.
And the new gen speed/ debugg mechanic just makes the game mode a sweat fest honestly. I never had a problem winning as survivors. I have a video where we got 7 6-8 man outs in a row. Now it’s even easier imo.

It certainly is. It’s region based AND time based. It’s usually a killer bonus early in the morning and late at night and a survivor bonus throughout the day.
You can’t go off of those bonuses at all unless you know generally a pattern of when normal bonuses are for each side.
Killers only aren’t playing that much probabily because the 20 minute wait meanwhile survivor is faster.

You know, what I do in my freetime is none of your business. And saying something like this when you have 0 arguments just shows that you are not really good at discussions.
You are not right. Simple as that. What the Devs did is simple logic - one side does not have fun in a mode? Increase the fun of this side to make it better. Simple. They are doing it for Killers for years now with constant Buffs in 1v4.
He’s absolutely right. The fun of the game mode was the insane fast pace and high intensity. The picking up to hook is abysmally slow and pace breaking. I slug very heavily now instead of caging immediately. In the past if you ran up to a group of survivors you would down one and take two seconds to cage them and go after the rest. Now you down one and spend 4 seconds to hook them is not worth it. I’ll just leave them on the ground and try and down multiple at a time.
An awful change for both sides in the long run.
-
Picking up survivors is an awful move too. It slows the game down for killers waaaay too much.
-
As long as they get rid of the fact you have to pick up survivors. Such a lame decision, slows the game down so much.

Oh 0 skill ok listen. Huntress with her moon size hit hox and that crutch aura read that show aura hit by hatches aint no skill along with the not needed increase that she has 7 hatches to spam now cause most huntress now just auto pilot throw without even trying to aim properly. Her ability to ignore anti camp when trying to get a end game save is also no skilled like instant down killers ability to camp(bubba the king of it)
Nemesis hitting you everywhere around everything like cars is no skill.
Demo instant breaking pallets with shread because most of them shreads for pallet breaking over trying to injure with it cause they are lazy like billy and bubba who instant break pallets.
Chucky getting wall hacks with crutch poison and exploiting the slice and dice bug and getting free hits with it or even regular m1 with flick exploits is no skill.
Wesker get a pass since I love him as an re vet and I never see people try crutch tech him as bob and weave is better
Killers in general with supermarket/fast food or vpns getting undeserved hits and we must enjoy the game from their client or even lag switching when they losing. That takes no skill.
Yesterday I had a billy that me and my swf won and our pings was fine who we was 30 each and killer was 50, we got him again after and our pings and was 300 and 400 apparently salty we beat his p100 billy so turns on lag switch mode to win for 0 effort which I was glad to record and report. Sad part too they are ttv and as a ttv myself its people like that give all us other ttvs bad names.
You know your aura read crutch add ons and perks for 24/7 free info for everything we do worst its more icreased 100 fold since distortion is a dumpster fire? That takes no skill.
Seem to killers every thing survivor do even if niche takes no skill yet killers themselves act like they dont have no skill things too.
Killers by the very nature of having powers requires far more skill than anything needed from survivors. Yes I can see you aura but I still have to lead you, I still have to know your hitbox lags 2 feet behind and isn't in front of you at all, I have to know when and when not to ready a hatchet or reload. I could go on honestly but if we are being fr all survivors do is hold Shift W, press space bar or ctrl and its GG EZ. Yes pressing Ctrl take ZERO skill all you do is press it. That's it.

Killers have Chucky perk they don't need #########.
What Chucky perk could you possibly be talking about? Please tell me you aren't talking about that absolute trash perk Hex: Two Can Play. Nowhwere near as strong as Circle was and is now.

Crouch techs 100% need to go. Crazy how I can bounce off of a survivor as Wesker, Billy or Demo because they press crouch. A zero skill move that nullifies a lot of power plays

If the Ghostface DCed they certainly did not have a good game. So even if your intentions are well or you just say "gg" all the time, it can come up as mocking the other side.
If a player DCs or if a Killer gets like 2 Hooks the whole game or the Survivors dont even get a Gen done, a "gg" really sounds more like being a bad winner than anything else IMO.
Exactly. If I get cooked and they say gg it feels like an insult only. But it’s through text so no intonation can be discernible, but it still seems that way

exhaustion perks should deactivate when a gen is completed
I never thought about that before but that’s a great idea. I would make it to each time a Gen pops all survivors are exhausted for 90 seconds.

Copped this burn playing today, I guess because my Steam profile has "member since November 17, 2004" (20 years in a few days woohoo!).
So, how old is too old?
Pauline Esther is like 50 and still playing games lol. There isn’t a limit to it.

I very much like that idea honestly. Even though im a Hunty main and she has hands down the worst perks in the game now lol.

I will say honestly I usually cut Bhvr some slack but this is single handedly the worst killer to ever exist ever. I make no exaggeration at all when I say Trapper is A Tier in comparison. They are going to have to make some extreme and I mean Extreme changes to make this killer worth considering. Literally a worse Pyramid head, slinger, and knight.

I've had trouble admittedly as Killer, but I have gotten better each time I've played a particular killer.... So I'm not quite sure if the game is truly survivor sided, or if it's just easier to pick up for survivor and harder for the killer to find the right strategy...
I nearly won my third Trapper game, except I legitimately rolled a failure on 3 separate 1 square hook checks in a row and it cost me the game... xD
However aside from that, one of the best things about tabletop gaming is you can actually house rule, unlike a video game, you are in conrtol of the game. If you want some example house rules to make killer easier: -
- Remove the double tap rule (cannot injure and down a survivor innten same turn). The killer has to spend a lot of resources to do it, so if they guess right should be rewarded.
- Remove perk activations limit of once per turn for killer. The survivors get a perk once perk turn, killer can use it as many times as they have blood points to spend.
- Reduce the hook carry dice by 1. If you move 1 space that is just an instant hook with no check, as escapes and map rng shouldn't really be messing with the killer. (I'm not bitter I swear).
- Make exit gates take 4 light tokens to open instead of 3, so the killer has a slightly better chance at playing the end game.
Have fun!
Yes! I just wanted to let people know it seems impossible to win without giving special new rules for the killer before they bought it. We even had rules to where you had to leave gens after each time you put progress on them and come back to them later and still couldn’t get any killers to win.
Our rules next time:
- killer gets 3 moves
- Killer can attack multiple times per turn and the same person twice
- Killer can regress exit switches by one
- A 1 or a Skull is a failure 2, 3, 4, 5, are success
- You have to leave a gen after putting progress on it
I think killer might be able to win at that point. I’m not sure honestly but we will have to see.

I made a Gen build video where we popped all 5 gens in 4 minutes flat. Averaging 50 seconds a Gen. very easy to do, the killer didn’t stand a chance and we could’ve taken a 4 man out but ended getting greedy and all dying trying to get the 4 out but yes Gen speeds are very problematic. All gen speed perks need to be changed and toolboxes need to not work on gens and I think that would fix it.

This is a video of a Xeno (aka a killer with a very strong antiloop power) running a full chase build (supposed to make said antiloop even stronger) getting absolutely obliterated by survivors doing 5 gens in less than 3 minutes. And then people wonder why are killers inclined to run full slowdown builds even on top tier killers ?
Seriously, at this point only average survivor mains can claim that "good killers don't need gen slowdown perks" cause they want to have easier games against them, but the gaslighting has got to stop at some point.
Survivors will continue to cope and act like gen speeds aren’t a problem but they very much are. I posted a video where we popped all 4 gens in 4 minutes flat. And I promise I can do it 9 times out of 10. It’s very easy honestly if you bring a Gen build.
