How about the AFK Myers video lol
-
Luckily you only need nine hooks for the adept. You often have players suicide on first hook or second hook. Especially in matches where the killer is doing well enough to get an adept.

I got it luckly
Thing is for the adept you need to have a perfect killer match
hook survivors 3 times, slow gens as much as possible, and hook everyone
-
My meta three are BBQ, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Brutal Strength. I recommend them in that way order and it works on most killers. Brutal is not needed on killers who ignore pallets or can break pallets with their ability. Otherwise this is a universal build.
BBQ to grind points twice as fast. Pop to slow the game down.
-
He’s one of the best area campers I’ve seen. He’s not particularly good at crossing maps though. We’ll see how the map adjustments affect his ability.
-
We really are running out of things to complain about huh?
-
There's not more mori's. Survivors just cannot automatically disconnect anymore.
-
NOED is fine, but there are better perks that help to win all game long. I prefer Brutal Strength, Sloppy Butcher, or Corrupt Intervention over NOEd for example.

"Im a huge scream fan, watched the movies countless times. And i was wondering, Is he like the Ghostface in the movies or someone just wearing the oufit?"
DBD gave him a unique lore.
"What does he do?"
He goes into stealth and can 'mark' survivors to down him in one hit.
"Does he have cool cosmetics?"
Arguably the best.
"Does he have the movie oufit?"
Yup!
"Is he fun to play? And is he relatively decent/good? Thanks!"
Yes, he is definitely a competitive killer and it's pretty funny to teabag the survivors back lol.
-
lol killers should not be allowed to DC! Losing situations are exactly the time that killers, who might be having a difficult time, should push forward and keep trying.
1. Those are the situations you are most likely to learn from. Trial and error. You won't learn from players who aren't making you play hard.
2. The killer might be giving up too soon. Most of my games are won with one gen left and most of my hooks are usually when there are two or fewer generators. I wonder how many wins I had that another player may have quit on

I've been disconnecting a lot lately, as I feel like there is nothing I can do anymore In the game so I just gtfo
The DC penalty was made for exactly players like this. The notes for the DC Penalty say something along the lines of, the disconnecting player probably needs a break anyways lol.

Ahh yes, i remember getting NOED on level 3 for Wraith.
Y'know, back when it was MUCH more powerful than now.
Before there were Totems. And infinites were a thing. I'd take that trade.

Of the three you list, Oni is my favorite. Deathslinger for sure is the closest to Huntress’s playstyle.
My main recommendation for you on picking your next killer would be base it on perks you would like to have (on Huntress) if you’re uncertain.
@SlyFox said:
I am a Huntress main and I want to buy a new killer I was thinking about Oni,Spirit and Deathslinger what is your recommendation?
Ps: Dont limit yourself with this three
-
I can assure you they are not op.
-
If the game fails to load, there is no DC penalty. What does happen is players games bug out where they’re immobilized. They don’t die in EGC, etc. The only way past that is to DC, which BHVR does not have a system to differentiate.
For OP to have a five hour ban from this is for sure disingenuous somehow.
-
This Legion skin looks like a survivor. There are some clever things in this rift. We may be underrating some of this.
I like the Plague and Claudette reskins. Especially since I haven’t bought either of the originals.

When i'm seeing survivors bringing BPS i avoid any tunelling or camping, trying to play so we all get points, but if we bring BPS and 3 gens get done very fast i'm like, now which one of you wants to go out first?
This is how I play killer, BPS or not.
-
It’s only a near perfect requirement if you’re red ranks. There are ways to draw out the game, which I believe the purpose of the emblem is, in order to attain a double pip.

No because getting those outfits show you earned it so making it something you could buy or a default outfit would ruin the point that earning the outfits have
Making it an outfit just allows you to select all three pieces at one time. I think this is a misinterpretation of my request to mean to be able to purchase the prestiged cosmetics, which I am not.
-
I think this might be asking for too much. It was incredibly thoughtful they did these three weeks as it was.
-
Hillbilly should stay as is and Oni also doesn’t fit the 110% mold either.
Hillbilly’s ‘busted’ add ons are no more busted then the Shape’s, Hag’s, Plague’s, Huntress’s. Turns out rare add ons make killers better. And he has already received nerfs.
-
To be honest, I'm not really against finding a key during a match. It adds a lot of extra drama to each game, but I do recognize that killers don't have an equivalent ability in each match.
-
I think that situation is very different from the time I got body blocked by a Jake at every pallet/window so a Freddy could down me. Then hook farmed twice to death in less than a minute.
-
It comes down to deviousness and brutality. There are several killers that struggle to accumulate deviousness from their powers. Off the top of my head: Ghostface, Pig, Shape, and Plague do not accumulate deviousness very well.
Killers with insta down abilities usually struggle with accumulating Brutality from hits (since they only get 300 points). The only killer that does great in Brutality despite being an insta down is Oni and that is because he gets 500+ points from using the insta down and no deviousness from the strike alone.
Freddy, like all M1 killers, takes two hits to down, which is 600 points. It builds up as expected. Deviousness builds over time and from like four or five different sources.
Other killers that are great at accumulating points is Wraith, Legion, and Clown.
-
Could you imagine if killers found a Mori during the match?
-
Ghostface is by far more viable killer imo.
Myer’s DLC is also great for survivors though. His DLC gives four to five perks that are useful on a slew of killers and all survivors.
-
The only advantage survivors have is it actually is a rough map to find survivors on. The loops aren’t what trouble me as killer. And that’s why I’m okay with the map.
-
It’s like y’all know the rules that the game works by but don’t want to have to play around them.
Both perks are in good spots.
-
I can tell you now that the response to your idea is that it is your own fault for having a bad connection. Many players are very upset with dealing with others who have a bad connection and feels it ruins their own experiences.
My response to your idea for a fix is that unplugging your ethernet chord is to easy of a bypass on the DC penalty and would be abused.
-
@hippsies said:
Just make it to where DS activates when you become unhooked and expires in 60 seconds or if another survivor is hooked. That way there was clearly no tunneling and would help fix short and long game issues.
The only way the first survivor would get downed quickly again is if they try to abuse the perk and be cocky enough to just hang around after someone else was hooked.
I get the sentiment behind these ideas but think that is too easy to bypass. All of the condition cancel ideas I’ve heard and read are too easy to bypass the perk when the perk already ends in quick fashion.

What is best build for bubba.
I can say with confidence that The Cannibal’s best build is: Nemesis, Play with your Food, Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ&Chili.
Good luck to anyone that has to deal with that.
-
I agree with Bamboozle in combination with the fast break, vault add ons. But in general it’s not particularly good on Wraith since he has the speed to catch up to a survivor.
I am also not the biggest fan of end game perks since other ones could actually help you prevent the game from progressing that far.
My recommended build on Wraith is [Flex], Brutal Strength, Pop Goes the Weasel, BBQ&Chili.
My flexes mostly consist of Sloppy Butcher or Save the Best for Last.

Treat every match as swf boom problem fixed
Or just play the killer you want to play.
I do like the SWF idea post-game (or just not in the lobby) though.

What’s funny is that, knowing these forums, this is probably all killers telling the OP they made a mistake 😂

The power extension was that DS was used in a method it was NOT designed for. It was designed as an anti-tunnel perk. Nowhere in this video did I intentionally camp and/or tunnel the Jane.
You keep talking about bloodpoints but I already stated it isn't about the bloodpoints. It's not about how many gens are left, it's about a perk being used in a way that is extending it's original point of power in the first place.
Btw no I did not down the Jane right away, 5 seconds was enough for her to unhook the Nancy and for her to take a hit with BT to then pick up the Zarina.
Then the explanation you are looking for is you overextended yourself and got outplayed. But that’s not clear from your clip.
Again, I would have welcomed the outcome you seem to be upset with.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
So, while you state it is strategic to pick up Jane, it would also been strategic to pick up another guy.
Furthermore, you are complaining on a very high level. 5 Gens to go, you won the game. And I highly doubt that this DS turned the game around.
And while this is not the point of your Thread, it should be pointed out that your complaint is ridiculous.
100%

That's 100% NOT the issue here. You may need bloodpoints or someone else may need more bloodpoints, however, I have almost everything maxed out BOTH Killer and Survivor.
The point of the video is that situations such as this, locker tech., etc. should not be given that far of an extension of power.
I do not recognize there was an issue in your clip. What power was there to be extended? There are five gens left. You weren’t wronged and my opinion is clear in the last post: the game should have continued.
The problem seems to be the way you’re viewing the game. A killer is not rewarded for quickly ending a match. Killers are actually rewarded LESS for doing so. Fewer blood points and fewer marks for pipping.
If I was that Billy, I would have hooked another survivor and turned a blind eye to let them reset because I actually enjoy playing the game out. I do recommend going this hard after a few generators are completed but clearly the survivors weren’t playing well, you could have won in an identical fashion later, and them surviving for a few more seconds (because I’m sure you chased that Jane down, again) is not some problem that needs to be addressed.
-
I wasn’t super stoked about Doctor’s skin in the second Rift but his weapon was excellent.
-
There’s five gens left. So what’s the problem?
My play here, when you’re so far ahead in a game is not to go for the early four kill, but allow them to unhook. I am not happy with my 14,000 blood point 4k’s.
I would have let the Jane live and unhook the other three. If it was one or two gens, go for the win, but this early of a win is an unfulfilling game for me and the other four playing with me.

A Developer, A Killer main, A survivor main... can anyone logically explain why I am punished for capitalizing on all my opportunities?
-
Poor Kerm. A lot of those who replied is replying to the first comment rather than your suggested change to the doors.
I think the light and third light noise alert is necessary unfortunately just like generator progress can be determined by looking at it. It lets the killer know where to worry.
I don’t know that easier escapes for a lone survivor is a good idea because that means the killer played well enough (and the survivors did not play well enough) to put the loner in that position.
-
I think there were fewer pallets in maps then people realized.

No, it was a shadow nerf that happened a while back and nobody talked about it. You look at DBD like a year ago, and it's clear as day that Wraith and Spirit's lunges are shorter now.
It was not a shadow nerf. It was a bug that came from the Spirit adjustments patch. The lunges were fixed in Patch 3.5.0 along with the Doctor rework. Anyone can look at the Patch and search it for the bug fixes notes.
Are you saying the bug is back? Because this issue was resolved three months ago.
-
There was an error rendering this rich post.
-
I haven’t been playing the PTB, but I don’t believe the killers had adjustments to their lunges. There was a bug that got fixed (January?); the bug undid Spirit and Wraiths’ lunges but, again, it got fixed. Nurse missing on lunges is probably an accuracy/timing issue. Not that her lunge needs to be increased.
There was a bug with the first lunge of a game for killer. Maybe you’re experiencing that?

I've tried that, but (unless you are on a couple of the smaller maps) I feel like gens are popping as I slowly lumber across the map. Not uncloaking right in their face (and uncloaking from the "open" direct so they have to go sideways instead of vertically away from you) usually makes them hesitate for a split second and generally seems to work almost as well as the silent bell.
My problem with Windstorm is the slower uncloak drawback, so I prefer the reappearance add on combos with Windstorm.
Wraith doesn’t have the best individual add ons but I really enjoy several of the combinations. My favorites are:
Windstorm/Reappear
Faster kick, Vault/Disappear
All Seeing/Silent Bell
These three combinations with their varying rarities are what got me through prestiging himand learning to love playing Wraith.
He also has the best cosmetics in the game!
-
Sometimes I’m not as sneaky as I hoped. Killer saw me walking to my hiding spot, etc.
-
I recommend purple All Seeing combined with the silent bell. Much better then the Windstorm combo.
-
He is monumentally less frustrating... to use now since the stances were removed.
-
I’m good with the rift. I want Kate, Dwight, Legion, Yui, Plague, and Claudettes outfits.
-
They already dumbed down the rift challenges. They said a consequence is the challenges get done sooner then they calculated for the First Tome, which means there’s more grinding via unchallenged gameplay.
Thing is, for me, I played this much without the archive.
-
Bad thread.
-
Oh god I hope this didn’t happen.
