You can use a website called nightlight. It's user reported stats so obv you should take it with a grain of salt but they're often pretty close to the stats bhvr releases.
-
Epic beamer save farm build lmao. The only stat i want to know is how many teammates you had mald at you in endgame chat for hovering the killer all game.
-
Too much info for free. It's a pretty massive jump when the best info perks go from stuff like lethal and bbq to something like on demand no cost info like nowhere to hide.
I was actually complaining about perks like darkness revealed and nowhere to hide when they came out for the exact same reason. Only reason i don't really care that much about the topic tbh is because i utterly loathe survivors who just hide all match as killer.

I'm going to regret asking this...
Why is self care a problem?
If you play solo. You already know its likely one of your friends will not be on the escape objective.
If you take a hit and drop chase by taking a strong loop, you can go to a dead zone alone and recover to practice the whole thing over, against most killers.
More chances to run loops and memorize the map. I don't see why self care is an issue, when you're single player focused.
Yes, I see it takes longer to heal yourself vs having a team mate do so, but often when playing alone that isn't going to happen.
Awful numbers and even if it didn't have awful numbers there's a lot of times that you just shouldn't waste time healing yourself when you can be doing gens. Sure if you're an extremely selfish hatch maxer who is willing to grief their team then yea no downside, but the perk was actively worse than an empty perk for most players when it was at 50% but at 30% or whatever it is it's basically unusable if you're trying to win a match.
And that's ignoring how common sloppy is, which singlehandedly doubles the heal time on the perk.
-
Knight or artist. They have to be most of the most tone deaf designed killers this game has seen other than old skull merch
-
It amazes me how attractive of a perk selfcare is for new players. I really hope they just pity buff that perk so new players aren't unknowingly handicapping themselves lol
-
While there's no denying how uninteractive both nem and xeno can be, there's (sadly) worse examples like knight, artist, trap killers, dredge, and skull merch. These killers can near completely remove a survivors ability to express skill in the 1v1 by literally just pressing m2 in a tile and make it unusable. There's a lot of killers that minimize the impact of a survivors skill in a 1v1 in the way that nem and xeno do but those killers more or less outright remove the sole reason a lot of players play survivor by their mere existence.
While in chase with nem and xeno if they get in range with their power, you already have lost. Play for distance and not to maximize the value you get out of the tile is the simplest tip i can give. I will 100% agree that they encourage (or force in xenos case) rather boring gameplay but there is pretty clear counterplay.
-
with selfaware it can let you just vanish into thin air sometimes. Very funny

incorrect.
If a survivor boons the top of ironworks, that's a big waste of time for the killer to go up there. That's an obvious example but there are many scenarios like that. If there are two gens left on one side of the map and a boon by the completed gens on the opposite side of the map, the killer would be throwing to go snuff that boon.
Expo and CoH are still good but the other boons will never be buffed until base changes happen to boons. It's not much of a problem anymore because people don't use boons often anymore and expo requires coordination to really go crazy.
I will now use the most extreme example to justify my point.
Completely unneeded nerf to a set of (currently) outright bad perks.
-
tbh all non ranged/movement killers should just be 24 tr anyways

Enduring or self-aware
not getting what feels like a 2-3 business week stun with it is why i can't live without enduring

I can´t remember a single match where failing to find a hex perk, made the match unwinnable. Made the game a bit harder? Maybe. But losing because of that?
Literally devour hope
-
@Tsulan said:
I mean... just look at Hex perks. They probably scrapped the whole concept for future chapters and just keep what we already have.
Hexes made everyone unhappy tbh. Losing because you are simply unable to find a hex in a reasonable time or starting the match with only 3 perk because someone spawned 3 seconds away from the hex. Frustrating design for everyone.
-
I actually think that boons design is pretty good. It's just that COH completely avoid the risks of a it being a boon perk since you wanted to place it where the killer just wouldn't go.
-
Hard disagree. Singu is one of the better designs they've done in the pass year.
Singu is fine outside of simply not working on some maps, It's ok for a killer to not have a large player base due to skill floor. He has an interesting, powerful ability that can be used in a few different ways. That is kept from being oppressive by being checked by EMPs.
-
The game unironically needs that many pallets since you can't chain anything or reuse the tiles once the pallets are gone. Map is as boring to play as survivor as it is for killers. I wished they replaced most of pallets on that map with normal tiles.

What do you mean when you put a perk on there twice?
It was a mistake, didn't realize i put it in the pool twice
-
billy singu are the only ones i repeatably come back to but i'll randomly play a few matches of other killers.

If you vault the window, they lose the "invincibility."
shhh don't tell them it's a survivor secret
-
Not really anything to tell you other than get a thicker skin if you actually get affected that much from bm
-
Here's mine
Edit: I forgot to move deliver to feels bad
-
-Also signed by billy players. The quality and consistently of collision with the recent maps is extremely random at best. Going from autohaven/chapel to garden of soy and crows is so extreme for seemly no reason, not to mention bhvrs obsession with putting garbage around normal tiles in new maps that cuck curving so hard. I have yet to get nostromo as billy tho, so i can't comment on that map.
-
Neat, thanks for the stat drop

When i was a kid i remember really enjoying Escape from the furnace books. I haven't read them in years tho

Dead Hard was the way it was for years, now we have MFT which is not being touched despite wide spread Killer criticism.

Never said it was, that said they should compensate so she is viable. They remove the ability to conduct the strat without making their power strong in a new way.
Nurse was the way it was for years, now we have Blight. Which has been buffed despite wide spread survivor criticism.
Your post was yet another Us vs them sneed thread. Now we can both repeatably sling stupid comebacks at each other or you can just realize that bhvr balancing is schizophrenic and randomly extremely blind to problem parts of the game on both sides.
-
True, they're very boring to play against
-
Yes, it turns out when there's abusive, unintended strats that come out of the design of a killer guess who has to deal with it? The survivors. This post would be like if i said that dead hard was nerfed due to killer frustration.
-
The minor nerf didn't change what was the awful part of playing against xeno. So i really doubt anyone most survivors opinions changed.

Precisely. Toolbox charge addons shouldn't exist, and toolboxes with more than 24 charges shouldn't exist. Also, toolboxes shouldn't have added skill check chance. The synergy with Hyperout has been around for far too long to be ignored, it's only a matter of time till survivors migrate to it when their MFT crutch inevitably gets nerfed.
Hyperfocus actually requires you to be good at hitting skillchecks. The meta is nearly always the most low effort high reward set up ppl can find, I personally don't think we'll never actually see hyperfocus be used in mass despite how clearly crazy it is due to that.
-
It's still pretty good tho it does forces you to not run an exhaustion perk which before mft was a rather large price to pay for it.
It should at least lose the exhaustion part of it imo tho
-
There should just be a way for survivors to see each others perks
-
Only a few more years of waiting bro

I say this as someone who plays Singularity every day: if you get EMP'd even once in chase, that makes Singularity worse than half the killers on the roster. I love him, but it is what it is. It's a power that takes multiple steps to set up and doesn't even guarantee a hit against a good player.
Singu is absolutely not "worse than half the roster" when you get emped. If emps are so impactful against you while you're playing singu that you think they make him a m1 killer, you are playing Singularity wrong(or are a roller player). Slipstream is very easy to apply and even easier to reapply if the survivor you're chasing is the one who emps.

Do you guys really see Singu as A tier killer that doesn't need any improves? Just wondering
Are you a controller player? I honestly can't understand how poorly you view singu unless you're a roller player. Which in that case yea singu is gonna be real rough for you, but for MnK players singu is very powerful.

In what world he is insanely oppressive? He is not bad at all, but insanely oppressive? Predrop a pallet, make distance, lose los, take another circle in loop when he tp on you. He maybe slightly more oppressive than Bubba, is it insane level?
You wildly underestimate how fast overcloak lets you do actions, most windows are free hits if you take them. Predropping is a free hit if i just zone you unless that tile connects into another tile, you're also using all the resources on the map extremely quickly against a killer that you can't make distance against unless if the map is really awful for singu like lerys. And good luck trying to escape LOS from me when my los can be projected basically anywhere midchase with smart pod placement.

Oh, yeah, i just forget that survivors that remove slipstreams 2-4 per chase and make chases longer than with m1 killer is my skill issue. True, mate, i will get better at asking survivors not use it at least once in a minute.
Maybe you should address that fact that your chases are lasting long enough to get emped 2-4 per chase
-
Known bug, it's on pc as well for awhile .
-
What's with these increasingly bad posts that demand wild overbuffs to singu. Try reaching the skill floor of the killer before demanding bad ideas
-
Devs have said that a fov slider is coming
-
Singu doesn't need the majority of these, maybe family photo ( or at least turn it into a green so i can get more of them) but the other ones are outright not needed. None of these changes actually address the problem that singu is unplayable on some maps too.
-
One of the worse killers ever created from the survivors pov. Only over shadowed by release legion in terms of uninteractively. Knight in chase plays the game for you, it's so stupid. His power completely removes any skill expression in chase, reducing gameplay against him into a extremely boring checklist.
DBD would be a better game if knight wasn't added.
-
it's a crutch if you use it as a crutch. If you go around with this perk predropping and camping every pallet yea it's a crutch, but you can also use the perk to try to chain loops together. Precognition isn't a skill. It doesn't matter how good you are if the pallet is gone in every tile you ever been ran to
-
I really loved reading how many people are ok with exploiting lol
-
It's not. It just feels bad to be against sometimes, just like noed and like every other powerful effect tied to a hard to get/out of your full control effect.

His chase power is not as strong as the A tier and S tier killers, you really think he is only a little bit behind blight? The idea is as a blight, nurse or spirit you can win against these good teams on bad maps, wraith like other B tiers cannot.
I probably worded it badly, i meant he's bottom of top 5 or near it. He'll never be played in actual comp because the addons he needs to be truly powerful are banned.

Are there any streamers you know that are really good with singu? Because I too fail to see how Singularity is good against really good survivor teams in any way or form.
In my eyes, he just takes too long in chase to get consistent downs. First you have to slipstream a survivor, then you still have to deal with pallets and windows as Singu. Then the survivor most likely gets emp'd and again you have to slipstream them. And then further chase the survivor while not being immune to pallets and windows.
The average chase time in my experience is just too long for how quickly survivors can retrieve EMP's.
Scott and zubatlel played a load of singu, tho both are pretty done with maining the killer now im pretty sure. Singu has the tools to win any match(that's not an awful map for him like lerys)
Singu doesn't win the game via insta downing every survivor in your sight, singu wins vs good teams by forcing every pallet to be used on the map extremely quickly and you can't just hold m1 against him. While yes, singu is not outright immune to resources like pallets he minimizes and forces very inefficient use of those resources. And a lot of time the action speed from overclock will result in you getting a hit after these resources are used if you intelligently zone them and if you don't, you just restart the chase at 8 meters after teleporting. Emps will at worse add like 5-10 seconds to a chase but you can easily reapply slipstream in under 5 seconds.
Singularitys main lssue is that he just doesn't work on some map.

He is a little underrated but he can still lose against good teams or bad maps like any other B tier or below killer. The nerf was not needed at all and that version of wraith was so much fun.
Okay? What killer can't lose to good teams? If the survivors are better than you they should win and vice versa. With addons prenerf wraith would make basically any loop a hard 50 50 and he still can do that with those addons to a large amount of tiles, as he is now he's in a very healthy place. Wraith has the tools in his power to win any match you play as him.

Trying to use pods in chase makes singularity only playable by those with a mouse. Someone can literally just spin in order to prevent a slipstream teleport when playing against a console killer. Without deadzone settings and no ability to fine adjust aim with strafing, it's not reliably possible to teleport to moving survivors through a pod.
Then don't use a controller and if you can't don't play him. What little mechanic skill that this game has shouldn't be removed because console players can't cope without insane aim assist
-
He was too strong. Wraith is very underrated imo and is top 5 or near top strongest killers
-
Wildly depends on a large amount of things. Personally, i nearly never get pass blood lust 1. bl2/3 is a skill compression mechanic outright and shouldn't be in the game. BL1 should be kept as a M1 killer aid.
