I could see Decisive Strike not being a once per trial effect. Most killers who choose to tunnel will just eat the DS hit and keep tunneling, letting it work a 2nd time would punish the tunneler more.

Piggy wouldn’t be able to see going through it ☹️

Think the nerfs were heavy-handed. I feel like the offering rarity should be bumped down to uncommon and bloodweb cost reduced if they’re only going to have 20% chance to send you somewhere.
Imo 20% is too low I would’ve settled for a 1/3 odds which gets lower depending on how many other maps were offered.
-
Take the stats with a grain of salt as it only accounts for things from 2020 - present
I feel like my Hag winrate is inflated when it doesn’t take into account how weak she was in early DbD.
You can see on my xbox stats it shows 7,400 hours of play time whereas the new stat checker only shows 1,700 hours of gameplay

It's not a straight nerf. It's 5% Haste but now activates within 16 meters of the generator instead of 12 meters.
this 👆they made it easier to get the haste value while reducing the haste bonus itself, you’ll be under its effects more often now.
-
I could see that, maybe make Crane the Survivor.
Honestly think they should do a full Left 4 Dead chapter as well. A few legendary special infected cosmetics for killers would be cool. More zombie genre stuff is always fun. -

This is a problem with every single dash and speed based Killer faster than Wraith or Legion, and it's just one more reason we don't need more dash-based Killers in the game.
This is true, as they all typically share the advantage of landing hits with their power easier by flicking their mouse. Like Oni, Billy, Wesker, & Blight. However I feel like blight especially is a lot harder to use on controller

I don't see how using half your build and strategically losing generators would be more problematic than, say, haste stacking or end game build stacking.
I am looking forward to seeing how it plays out, though. I love Machine Learning so I plan on testing it
Well seeing as they recently nerfed STBFL I wouldn’t be surprised. My only hope is they don’t nerf it again as a result of a new perk synergizing with it.

Honest opinion. I prefer licensed chapters because the developers have to try harder to impress a licensor. More often than not the licensed chapters we get come off as WAY MORE polished than originals do and I feel like its because they really don't have to try AS hard when making originals. I'm not saying they don't work hard on OG Chapters, but do they work AS hard as they do on licensed chapters? My gut feeling is no.
I often feel like their powers and play styles are often made unique to better suit the character in question when introducing a licensed character.
-
I wouldn't say it's never about skill, but efficiency and a game sense definitely outweigh it. Having coordinated teammates with a lot of game knowledge are typically going to be more effective, and that goes for most games.

Popular request, but they generally want loud music to help hide certain sounds in a chase such as footsteps and such. Still, I wouldn't mind the music being slightly lower in volume...perhaps they could reduce footsteps slightly in chase only to make up for it.
I agree, finding some common ground with the in game audio would help. I hope they offer a solution in the near future.
-
if map offerings are getting nerfed I don’t see why not. Scratch mirrors is very bad on the more open maps like red forest or coldwind anyway which will be harder to avoid. I could see a movement speed buff being added.
-
There are pros and cons to playing on either platform.
my only issue is certain killers are better designed for m&k play vs controller. If you’ve ever tried playing Blight on controller it feels awful. -
@Firellius said:
How will they be able to tell if some is running a Slippery Meat + Luck increase build over just throwing?
To be fair, is there really -that- much of a difference between the two?
it’s actually really good when the team stacks luck offerings 🤷♂️
-
I personally hope it isn’t, it’s fun when everything is busted and chaotic. It helps make for a casual friendly experience as oppose to the regular game mode

haddie’s totem perk is very underrated imo. Cleansing hex totems gives you a 20% increase in repair speed until you get injured which stacks with toolbox repair speed. It combos well with inner strength and detective’s hunch

Jason
Creature From the Black Lagoon
Leprechaun -
this just happened to me as well, was playing 2v8 and a teammate flashlight blinded the trapper picking me up and I couldn't move after they got the flashlight save until I got downed again. 😕
-
It depends on certain factors. If I’m bringing a brand new part add-on I’ll try to install it and work on a gen in the middle of the map to try and prevent a 3 gen asap. If it’s just a toolbox with speed/charge add-ons I’ll usually save it for mid game to help with gen pressure.
-
Indoor maps are more fun to play on overall. They typically have strong loops for survivors and benefit a lot of under used and/or less powerful killers like Trapper, Hag, Twins. Strong killers like Billy and Blight have a harder time traversing the map which is nice.
-
You probably wouldn’t have liked the bp grind +4 years ago if you think this is bad.😅
-
Kinda disappointed that none of my favorite killers like Hag or Twins will be playable yet but I can understand why.
Having a bunch of survivors wiping away hag traps and having one survivor hold victor limits their powers when there’s 8 survivors. They’re likely just thinking of ways to balance them out.
-
Kinda disappointed hag is gonna have to wait a little longer before she’s playable in 2v8 but I guess it’s understandable when her power isn’t as straight forward as some of the others. 😕 Wonder if we’ll see any licensed killers added eventually, Pig and Myers would seem tame for 2v8.
-
As someone who’s most played killer is hag, I feel like she’s in a well-balanced state currently. I’d rather they not keep buffing her until the community witch hunts her until she ends up like Skull Merchant. If anything should be changed it should be a few of her add-ons like the Ear and Phantasm Trap trigger range extenders.
-
It’s typically a map thing and not a gate issue itself. Maps like Red Forest you can’t really monitor as killer because of how spread apart they are, where as like Midwitch it’s pretty hard for a survivor to get them open.
-
Been asking for this on xbox too for quite some time. Would like to have those days where I can play killer in peace when I don’t feel like SWFing
-
I think blindness should make it to where you can’t differentiate between a hex and dull totem, just make hex totems look like dull totem. In addition to what it currently does.
-
Agreed, there’s no reason to strip being able to mori multiple survivors with a ebony mori when they’re already dead hook.
-
10 more seconds to have your teammates work on gens is all I see coming from this. Might be nice for solo queue survivors but it’s a major buff to SWFs doing gens.
-
I feel like both Myers & Freddy are overdue for buffs. Freddy’s add-on have been nerfed into being some of the worst in the game. Myers base kit power take too long to build up before it can have any impact.

Rotten Fields. Too much corn and open space, you practically can’t run 70% of the tiles on this map, just the outer edges. Also hate playing this map as killer too.
-
pretty sure it already does, if you own both xbox one and series X or S, it's the same acct. If you're like me and mostly play on series x but also own the game on PC, Playstation, and Switch those different accts can now be linked
-
@nodforkiss said:
its still decent not every perk needs to be S+ tier, back before the nerfs literally every survivor used iron will because it was uncountrable and extremely strong against any killer
the counterplay now is that most killers are currently run No Where to Hide and Friends Til The End which make the perk irrelevant, survivors would need to dedicate an 2nd perk slot for distortion if it were to have any impactful effect.

It was not overnerfed. You could make an argument for the exhausted part but that perk was wildly overpowered, an entire method of tracking survivors removed for free, literally free you do absolutely nothing to get it, do you think that removing scratch marks forever (while injured) just because you got hit is also balanced? Because it's the same thing, it's a tracking mechanic for killers and that perk just removed it for no cost and an unlimited duration.
Now all that being said I think removing the exhausted portion of it could use discussion but if they do remove that I think it should get a set duration because it already makes you so quiet that if you don't already know the survivor has it you aren't listening that closely and will still lose track of them after they break line of sight. Also you gotta remember that there are a lot of perks to remove scratch marks as well, the potential synergy to removing 2-3 tracking mechanics from the killer is rather high so while at first glance you think the perk is weak a minor change has the potential to make it busted with specific perk combos (kind of like how buckle up became a stupid perk combo with FTP.)can you honestly say it would be a problem though if they reverted one of the two nerfs? Killer tracking has gotten better over the years with the introduction of a lot of powerful aura reading perks. Buffing iron will alongside some other survivor stealth perks doesn’t sound like a bad idea, the survivor perk meta has been really stale for a while now.
-
yes 100%, it needs to work while exhausted again. it can stay at 75%. Just let me use it alongside sprint burst again. 😭🥺
-
for the most part I’d say this is accurate, Coldwind is niche as a lot of killer struggle on it where as more mobile killers are strong on it(I hate it when playing either side lol) Ever since the alien map released I’ve probably only seen the survivors escape via exit like twice so idk if I’d call that one balanced.
-
Priorizing gens over anything else, ig 2 ppl on hook? Imma stick to the gen. Killer slugging? Imma stick to the gen. Full stack on Devour Hope? Imma stick to the gen. The crazy thing is that this works out in a lot of situations.
-
crawling to the corner increases the odds of wiggling free from the killer's grasp as they're less likely to make it to a hook. However usually killer's will let you bleed out rather than attempt to carry you to a hook in this situation.
-
The Wraith
Especially with the right add-ons it’s super easy to get the drop on someone.
-
Still one of the strongest killers in the game, just doesn’t have a free exploit to cheat around loops anymore.

7? Who's the 7th?
Also, The Last Breath chapter, the very first ever released, was free.
Trapper
Wraith
Hillbilly
Nurse
Hag
Doctor
Huntress
are all free on Xbox & PlayStation, I believe Switch has even more free non-licensed chapters too.

They're the 5 killers available to all players for free.
Console got Doc for free, but PC didn't.
Every platform except steam got 7 killers for free though, also wasn’t Nurse paid dlc on steam as well? Why is she the exception?🤔

Ace was replaced for Mikaela, who was introduced in 2021…😒Favoritism I guess.

Kinda surprised Hag & Ace weren’t included seeing as they were both year 1 killers/survivors. Hoping Hag gets added next time. 🙏 Would love to combo with other killers playing her.

Twins do not have a higher kill rate than Skull Merchant (even when the recall timer was incorrect), please don't forget that the stats that you see online are not official and are not fully accurate. And definitely, given their usage percent, not every match is against Twins and / or Skull Merchant.
out of curiosity would you be able to tell us how many other killers have a higher winrate than Twins currently?
-
these changes confuse me does it mean you can’t stealth around and scamper anymore?
-
120 to 60 is a massive buff, especially when taking into consideration that teammates can speed up the process with you, might need further tweaks but we’ll see
