Tbh, I'd place Spirit the first, she went died, was mangled up by her own father. All she thinks about is revenge and getting it at all cost.
Close second would be Nurse, for the reasons named above by others.
Third would be Hag, she got eaten alive, didn't she? She went insane afterwards.
As for the others, not including licensed characters, like Doctor, I wouldn't call him unstable but more like evil, then again depends on the definition of unstable and insane, he knows what he does. And for the other killers.. they seem ######### up bit aren't close to those 3, maybe Plague and Oni too, but not sure.
-
One week ago I was talking about how nice it would be if they'd release Nancy's Snowball dress. 👀
I'm all happy now, got the jacket skin I wanted and now the dress. ❤️
-
I'd say make it a dull totem if every other totem is cleansed so noed activates or change it to 100%/200%/300% regression or let it be as is and remove the hex from it.
-
The Plague skin has maggots on it, doesn't it?
-
I really hope they'll rework other maps if they do rework or change killers. For design primarily since that map went from shiny bright walls to a beautiful detailed map.

In my complete one hundred percent honest opinion (and yes there is a bit of bias) I feel that this can jumpstart the DBD hype again by bringing in the fnaf fans and a killer who could be if done right, one of the most unique licensed killer and survivors in ages. The Demogorgon in my opinion is just hag with lunge and other licensed killers have gone downhill. Myers and Leatherface was good but I don’t even have to mention Freddy Krueger and ghostface was meh. I just think too many killers are similar nowadays, both designwise and playstyle. But if this chapter was a thing, it probably get me to play the game more frequently just because of both how I’m a fan and how unique it would be. It would be a cool thing as well for a map similar to the lab or the hospital to have an indoor map. I’m in agreement with most pro fnaf is that it has to have springtrap as the killer. I’m in total disagreement if the ability is just the pig but which springlock suits. I also think instead of the survivor being one of the book characters, but Michael Afton instead. It would be unique, a survivor as grotesque as the killer he comes out with. And I know people say it’s a kids game but in reality it’s dark and depraved as hell so it would fit right in to DBD. I don’t know what his abilities would be but if done right, it could be the best chapter in DBD in a while.
Taking someone like Michael would be a huge stretch, we don't know how he looks like, really.
As for the ability, he could be a stealth killer that applies debuffs to survivors. Would make sense if we take the Springtrap from the games, since he's pretty much sneaking up to you, while the phantoms give you trouble with the ventilation etc..

You’ve got to be better at selling this character then rather than getting upset because a lot of people just don’t have the taste for it.
WHY do you want this character in DbD?
You can’t just be like “Why doesn’t the Community want it?” Your idea, so explain it better to where I don’t have to Google and read an entire Universe of this character. I just don’t see where it fits in the DbD realm.
I can explain it, sure but the thing is, you say colorful robot bears aren't you taste.
Springtrap, before killed in the suit, was a man that worked with someone else on animatronics and the pizzarias. Bad things happen, he starts killing children. For fun, even designs animatronics to lure the kids away. In the books, he does the same but also attacks adults, trapping them. He then ends up getting killedd in the suit by mistake. Water and motaion triggered the suit and snapped him inside. He died slowly and came back as Springtrap, doing the same.
He's a killer, we have Freddy, Michael and also Demogorgon which all are super natural are in the game.
There are also people wanting it and it would also attract some new players to join DbD.

That’s not the problem at all. I’m just stating my opinion on what I Googled. This is a Horror Survival game. I wouldn’t consider a burned Animatronic Bear scary.
What would you suggest his Ability and Perks be? That’s where I’m mostly curious on this.
Why are you so forthright about this?
Didn't really want to include ability and perks, but if I had to I would make Springtrap a stealth killer that applies debuffs to survivors, this would fit the game he comes from.
Perks don't really have to fit the killer since most perks aren't really related to the characters, but the perks would probably be there to slow things down.
I just want people to know it's not only about those funny colorful animatronics and would actually have something fitting for DbD instead of just straight up saying no without reasoning.

People shouldn't have to do overwhelming amounts of research into a subject to be even remotely convinced by it.
Think about how it would come across in a trailer for the next chapter. It's about first impressions. If people aren't initially impressed, they aren't going to want to spend lots of time going into a subject.
I know what you mean, but if you just simply look for fnaf, you'll just find everything but not that what would fit into DbD, like those animatronics or even the books.
It's simple, they type in fnaf and already see Freddy and the gang and say it would't fit.

ehhh. Would much rather not have a childish (even if dead, burned or whatever) chasing me. That’s more laughable than “oh ######### its going to get me” moment.
I would much rather prefer an original chapter/character. One like an Illusionist or something. But, that’s not my choice.
That's what I mean, you don't even care to look more into it.

I don't think it completely shouldn't be added, but if they do, a grotesque look should be in order. I'm talking on the lines of the kill screen in the first game, your bloody corpse in a Freddy suit. That would be kind of scary to see limping at you, or maybe a spring. And with the books, I'm sorry for being so crude here, normally I'd be more constructive, no. Devs are just... They're the dbd devs. Giving them that trust, isn't good. So if this were a thing, perhaps a solo killer pack should be in order.
I was skeptical at first when I heard the idea of the whole FNaF Chapter idea, but after a bit of thinking I thought it might fit at the end since there is the corps of the killer in the rotten, dark and withered animatronic with the corps being seen. Being still alive as basically the same with Spirit, that girl got mangled into pieces.
Even I myself would want any other animatronic, because every other wouldn't fit. At all. Same with a silly pizzaria map.

As said, the art design would break the flow of the game, we still have no clue about a survivor (and seeing Quentin, we shouldn't go off descriptions...) And again, not much else to give the animatronic besides maybe a hand swipe, (where have we seen this?...) Or a knife for a weapon.
I respect the ideas and opinions, but I'd like more in depth design. I'm not talking full blown out power and perks, but maybe how it would work.
I dunno, end of the day? BHVRs choice.
To the design part, that's why they could go of the books, they's had more creativity and such since Springtrap isn't shown. About survivors, as said they are in the books described and there's a recently released graphic novel of the first novel with pictures of them, even tho in a cartoony style, then again, they could make them fit the style of DbD too. Same for the map.
I'm sure people just don't want it because either they don't like licensed chapters, don't like the community, can't imagine the animatronic matching dbds style, only look at the colorful not fitting animatronics like Freddy, Foxy or all 4 points together.
-
@UwUMyersUwU said:
Half of the comments are hate or just rude ways of saying no, but I'll be constructive for once.
A FnaF killer wouldn't work, when the majority of them don't move when looked at, just scream to attack, are just kinda blocky and would probably break the look of the game for it, would have like no fluid hit animation, at for the icing, how do you make a survivor that you don't ever see?
All animatronics move while you watch them, some slower than others. See FNAF Vr and any other game since they also move to rooms or halls when you stare at them.
There are still the books you could base the chapter on. It has Springtrap, a rotten, dark animatronic suit with the corps of the killer inside. It has a place that could possibly the map, the childhood home of the main character that was left to rot and the area around it. And for the survivors, the main character has plenty of friends that could become one of the Survivors for the chapter.
FNsF is not only about shiny colorful animatronics attacking you in a flashy Pizzaria for kids.
Forgot to mention that the books play in a completly other universe.

Yeah, if they really redesign his face and make more gore showing which Scott has already done before, it's set.
Exactly, through the lore, the entity can just grab him right after he dies (wouldn't be that optimal since there'd no reason for prestige 👀), or make him more withered and show more of his corps by simply taking him after the fire or while the fire is happening.
-
Isn't the *Archives* just the section?
The Rifts expire, but the Tomes do not.
Would be nice to get in what context they mixed both up.
-
Also here a clear picture of Springtrap for people that don't know what he looks like (FNaF 3 Springtrap):
(Had to add that white background since the forum would have made a white outline on Springtrap and would give it a black outline)

@Semimatic said:
By far, this is the best concept I've found and it would totally fit.
People suggesting the actual animatronics, who either are just malfunctioning or have the souls of victims or whatever, clearly don't understand DBD. However, one character as seen with that roaring reddit post DOES fit.
A sentient, human corpse of a psychotic murder who went on a rampage of killing children just for the fun of it who would find it hilarious of someone trying to run away from him. This isn't some animatronic, it's a full-on murderous, insane person with actual motives inside of a deathtrap. He even says things like this in a sinister tone:
- "Let's see how many times I can take you apart and put you back together again!"
Here's the initial reddit post, and people seem to love the idea of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/ek0i0k/finalized_springtrap_the_attraction_concept_kit/
Overall, it would totally work out if it was executed well like this. The people complaining about the idea when it's out would be the minority-- THIS is how you execute it.
While I like the idea, the power is too much. Getting stuned for 3 seconds and screaming while doing so? That'd be even less fun than playing against Doctor who just makes you scream without locking you in place. I'd rather see Springtrap as a stealth killer that gives survivors debuffs rather than locking them into places without an option to escape.

@SambaSaw said:
This is never going to happen because Scott (creator of fnaf) would never allow his storyline to get interrupted by a game like dbd. If you followed the story you can understand this because it has been really messy and its not yet fully discovered.
Well, I'm talking about the novel series which isn't as messy as the games and the chapter, as all other licensed chapters, would just be in a different timeline/universe with the same characters. So it wouldn't interrupt anything.
-
@profaned said:
Im not completely against the idea of such a concept
But I don't see any definitive way to add fnaf to the game as there's no real "power" or "ability that we know of that can make the killer effective, i was gonna suggest form swapping but the devs don't wanna add a killer who can pose as survivors (unless they troll us like they did with clown when they said they weren't gonna add clowns)
The map is also a big issue, throughout most to all of fnaf, we only get fragments or moments of map design, fnaf VR is the closest we have to fleshed out maps and granted they look pretty good
Killer perks could probably be based on screwing with survivor awareness or shutting off a survivor perk for a short time, survivor perks could be stealth based or even something as ludicrous as creating some entirely new object
Meh - Nea
Well, Springtrap could be a stealth based killer applying some sorts of devuffs to survivors. Would kind of fit since the phantom animatronic do that in fnaf 3.
But I don't know if it would work with the Springtrap in the novel series. 🤔

What about sister location? I heard a lot of people like indoor maps to be honest!
The underground facility could work it's dark and wouldn't be as silly as a Pizzaria, but the chapter would have to be based on the games, that'd mean no good survivors or no at all.
-
@samination said:
Adding Demogorgon opened the floodgates for literally anything. So why not FNAF? It'd probably be the scariest FNAF game ever. Lol. However, I'd want the map to be that pizza joint.
Would be kind of weird seeing someone like Michael in a Pizzaria for kids, wouldn't it? 👀
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
I wouldn't like a FNaF chapter regardless of which source was used if I'm honest.
I'd prefer more human killers which suit the atmosphere and theme better than walking bear robots.
I don't think a rotting withered Animatronic suit with a rotting corpse inside would kill the atmosphere more than a clown dressed up as a cute pink elephant with some blood on it.
But I kind of get you since there are many other people not wanting it.
I myself don't want Chucky or Pennywise as killers since they wouldn't fit DbD in my honest opinion.
-
I would be okay with Springtrap and one-two friends of Charlie as survivors and Charlies Childhood home. The offering for the map could be Theodore. 🤔
But a FNaF Chapter is very unlikely at the end, unless many people would like to have such a Chapter in the game and Scott would actually agree, even tho I don't think it would be a big problem since he's working with other companies now, like with steel wool for FNaF VR for example.

I think this would be a good addition if done well. If they can't add him, then add the Nightmares, since they also fit the style of DBD quite well.
I think that if they don't get Springtrap/Afton, their second pick should be the twisted animatronics from the twisted ones. They seem to fit DbD more.

I have an idea for a FNAF chapter, and it involves stealth in a special way.
I don't want to flood your thread with my wordy idea, so I'm going to be making a thread about it soon — I'll be sure to tell you about it once it's done! :)
Can't wait to read it. 👀

In my opinion, I feel that John or Jessica would better suit as a survivor as Charlie turned out to be a robot in the last novel and every survivor we've had is actually a human.
Why it should be John: He pretty much crushed on Charlie, even when he was spoken for. He helped her survive in the first book and was stricken with grief after what happened at the end of the Twisted Ones. His lore could be based about how he tried to find Charlie at her abandoned house/pizzeria or something and the black smoke of the entity kidnapped him.
Why it should be Jessica: Although she was one of the main characters, she was still Charlie's best friend and they always stuck together in the books. Jessica's lore could be about how she walked her way to Charlie's abandoned house and is swept up by the entity during her walk.
John would probably be the better option for the survivor, as Jess and William (or Springtrap) never really interacted or altercated in the books from what I remember. John was desperate to protect Charlie from William, so I feel he would be the more likely option.
John would have been my second choice if Charlie wouldn't fit in with her background, which clearly doesn't.
I just hope that if they do decide to make a fnaf chapter, that it'll be based on the books rather than the game since they'd have a bit more creativity on springtrap design and would actually have a survivor and a fitting map. Fitting for DbD at least.
-
He could be another stealth killer.. but I think we have enough of those, unless there's a special thing about it?

I count Demogorgon as an exception (was rather surprised that it was added).
When you look at a Killer, you can tell they are human or were human at some point in their life. You don't really get that kind of thought process with Springtrap or any of the other animatronics.
You still have the corpse of him in the suit, they could also make it more prominent with more withering.
At the end of the day, everyone has another opinion and we all should live with what DbD has or hasn't.
-
There's the movie coming in 1, 2 or more years. They could instead of using the springtrap in the games, use the springtrap in the books or the movie, if the movie isn't based of the game. Would be better since the design/model of springtrap from the games don't really fit in DbD. The only thing missing would be his power, the only thing I can think off would be using the phantom animatronics, but again, this would be too silly.
And as said above he would kind of fit in the lore with being a possessed animatronic with a rotting corpse in it.
And if it'd be a full chapter, they also could just make Charlie's childhood home into a map since it was left to rot if I remember correctly. And Charlie herself a survivor since we know kind of how she looks like because of the Freddy files and the not long ago released graphic novel of the first novel.
I just have such mixed feelings on that topic. Sorry if I'm annoying you by changing my views. 👀
-
The problem is the weapon, they also couldn't just take the springtrap from pizza simulator, even tho he has his needle arm, since the style wouldn't really match Dbds. (look at that giant head 👀)
They'd have to find a solution on how he would attack the Survivors, a weapon would look kind of silly imo if it would be a knife or axe. Punching could work but..
What would his abilities be? There's not much they could do, I think?
-
I really hope the Demogorgon gets skin, especially the Christmas lights one.
Also the Snowball dress for Nancy.
But we have to wait and see what they have (or haven't) in store for us.
I just want a demogorgon dressed up as Barb 😔
-
I like Dead by daylight and I like fnaf, but this is doesn't sound good at all. It wouldn't feel right. I don't support it but if they somehow think it's a good idea... then I guess it is? The only way to do that too would be by a springtrap paragraph or a killer only chapter like ghostface.
-
Well, it's the Trappers and Claudettes tome. 🤷♀️
-
Doesn't the description of Clowns map say that it's a map connected to the nurse but the clown travels through various realms?
I'd rather see other maps or realms with the clowns set up.
-
My experience was actually great.
At first I thought I'd just come to tier 40 or something, but the challenges and the level ups gave me enough shards to get to tier 70 20 days before the rift closes. I was suprised on how easy it was.
I may have been lucky with the 4 man basement sacrifice, where no survivors dc'd and the last one actually helped me to get it instead of dcing or running to a corner.
About Toxicity... didn't expirience too much of it and am happy about it.
-
My most favorite additions were Nancy, her justice seeker outfit and her christmas sweater ❤️
-
Plagues reee is pretty nice
-
My top 5 would be:
1. Make the Base, Secondary/second cosmetic set for dlc characters and the bloody outfits a cosmetic set you can select in the customisation menu like those you buy in the store.
2. Give Steam players the Ptb as a 'second' game that needs to download separately, so we don't always need to change between live and ptb and download some files again.
4. Might be still working on it, but improving the framerate, especially on the switch and please let the game save the changes in the settings on the switch since they always go to standard when reopened
3. If possible, change the crows into rats in Hawkins National laboratory
5. Please get Nancy's snowball dress into the game
Those would be mine.
Don't hate, thanks. 👀

Babysitter on Laurie

Solidarity instead of Aftercare, thanks
-
The only thing I can see them doing is that they'd make a fourth tier, per prestige 1, for the teachable perks each survivors have, for example Claudette getting a slightly faster self-care, more range to empathy and a slightly better speed for healing with botany knowledge.
Even then, this wouldn't be a good idea.
-
It still can be canon, just in a different time line, where as our Bill was taken to the realm and the one in l4d stays dead in the world, meaning we don't have the Bill from the l4d games, but somehow kinda do too.
-
Level 46 on the rift, still need 3 challenges in level 3 of the tome, should be done with the rift before i get to complete all tome level 4 challanges.
-
I was first a David King main.
Then I mained Kate when she came out, I really liked her character and outfits.
Now I'm maining Nancy, she is my favorite character + I think that she looks the best in the game 👀
I'm still rarely playing David too tho.
-
I'm only complaining about the howling grounds and the bbq cosmetics becoming available for everyone. I like that the other cosmetics are becoming available for everyone tho.
-
I just hope they think about the event cosmetics again..
-
Guys, it's Spirits lost twin sister coming as a survivor.
-
Nancy, just give her all the clothes/outfits she had in the series 👀
