  • Was thinking the same, I'm sure that licensed chars could get it too then since it would be similar to charms, or just make it take up a charm slot and make it float behind the head like it does rn.

  • It should be separate, meaning you have to get the crown seperately for all characters... sad we can't get them for licensed characters tho, could have done something similar to charms that can also be used by licensed chars.

  • I am only able to put in the code when I have PH selected and am in the main menu, was on pc, you could try that.

  • I rather have Springtrap from the novels with a good map and survivor. They'd have more freedom in design as there's no set design for him in the novels ,unlike in the games, to make him fit DbD even more.

  • I would like a FNaF Chapter.

But not a FNaF Chapter based on the games. A Chapter based on the novel series would fit more.

    Why?

The games only have Springtrap... and that's it, no fitting map, no survivors. The novel series, unlike the games, has Springtrap, multiple options for maps and survivors. In addition, the novel series is completely independent (Own Story, different universe).

The lore is much clearer in the novels and they'd have more freedom on Springtrap as he doesn't have a set design in the novels, to make him fit even more into DbD. As for survivors we have multiple choices, being people that are friends of the main character (Charlie). Charlie herself couldn't be one, so the best option would be her crush/childhood friend John, with all the others appearing as legendary skins. They all encountered Springtrap before. As for maps, we have multiple options too. A map similar to haddonfield and badham, Charlies childhood home which was left to rot after her father died. Or a mall map that is hiding the left pizzaria in it.

Springtrap fits in aesthetically, with making it based on the novels maybe even more. Him being dead is also no problem since we have The Spirit for example.

Overall I believe it would be a great and unique addition to the game. The Killer also doesn't have to work with jumpscares at all, but could be another stealth killer or something completely else.

Fnaf 3 isn’t a pizzeria location though it’s a horror attraction and it’s also rather big

It's was a pizzaria that was made into a horror attraction.

The novel series isn't that much different. The only thing it could really offer over the games is a solid survivor option.

Like you said, it has good survivor options, unlike the games that only have bland nightguards. Also it has potential maps, like a mall map for example, a shiny pizzaria for kids wouldn't really fit DbD, at least imo, And a killer/murderer that they could have more freedom in to make his design fit into DbD even more, unlike the games counterpart which has a set design for him.

The novel series is just a much better option, the story/lore is clear, and, like said above, better survivor and map options.

Overall people just don't look beyond the flashy, colorful animatronics. Springtrap would fit in just fine, he's a killer/murderer, would fit aesthetically in and him being dead in that suit wouldn't really be a problem either since we have Spirit for example. And let's be honest, the 'cringe children', others take as the reason to not have a fnaf chapter, the community has isn't problematic, you wouldn't notice them, same could have been said about the ST Chapter.

  • Robin from Stranger Things for Nancy Wheeler.

  • A Fnaf Chapter based on the novel series as making it based on the games wouldn't fit DbD.

  • I only really play Nancy, used to play David until Kate came out and mained her afterwards. Well, then Nancy, my favorite 'Series/Movie' Character, came into DbD and I dropped Kate for her.

I hope she'll get more cosmetics. Maybe a legendary Robin one? 👀

  • I'm sure he wants Dead by Daylight icons to be available for the Playstation Account, not the icons from the account in DbD.

But they do literally kill the player in the first game. Besides, the Entity has complete omnipotence in it's own realm - it can force the killers to do whatever it desires, which can be particularly seen with Wraith. Another comparison I'd draw for the aesthetic of the FNAF characters would be the relatively recent Mr. Puddles outfit for Clown.

Edit: Aesthetically I'm referring particularly to the characters in FNAF 1, I believe they'd fit best.

I believe forcing children to murder is a bit too much, even for DbD. It also wouldn't fit lore-wise to just take the robots without the souls as the entity has nothing to feed off of the robots, robots have no emotions.

We're already getting 4 Legion cosmetics that look eerily similar to Toy Bonnie thanks to the Silent Hill chapter, I was thinking you'd have FNAF 1 Freddy as the base killer and then have the three others from the first game as legendary outfits. Not sure about a survivor if it were to be based on the game, I think it would have to be a paragraph style chapter like Ghost Face was - but if it had to have one, it would be the first character based on a novel.

I don't know if we're allowed to talk about leaks here... anyways, Freddy and the gang, the toys, the nightmares and so on just wouldn't fit aesthetically in. They're colorful, flashy and cute, the nightmares try too hard. Springtrap is really the only one that makes sense, he is/was human, is a murderer/killer and so on. The original gang has childrens souls in them, they aren't murderer or killers.

If you're going to use FNaF, I don't see how you could not choose the pizzeria as the map.

By simply not basing it on the games. The only locations really explored in the games are... pizzarias, it just wouldn't fit aesthetically with DbD. The only really 'fitting' would be the horror attraction, but even then it would be way too small and there's no way you could make it bigger with interesting aspects, it would just be the theatre or hawkins with a pizzaria skin over it.

The novel series just has many better options that would fit DbD more than a flashy pizzaria.

  • Sounds like based on FNaF 2, I really like the idea of a FNaF chapter... but please don't use characters like Freddy, the toys or the nightmares. They just don't fit the aesthetic, unlike one specific murderer/killer in the franchise, Springtrap. But, personally, I would like a chapter based on the novel series more than one based on the games.

Springtrap, maybe called 'The Forgotten' in DbD, fits DbD well, aesthetically and backround-wise. He is a murderer/killer trapped in a rotting, dark animatronic suit. That wouldn't really be a problem lore-wise as we already have a 'dead' killer, the Spirit. The novel series also has good options for survivors, personally I'd take John as he is the closest to the main character. The main character, Charlie, wouldn't be able to be in DbD for reasons I don't want to spoil. Also a possible map would be, similar to haddonfield, a neighborhood with Charlies childhood home which has been abandoned and left to rot for long or even the mall that is hiding the old pizzaria. The novel series would also give the devs more options for Springtrap as he has no 'set' design like his game counterpart has.

  • People not wanting FNaF are just not looking beyond the colorful happy animatronics that exist... we have Springtrap, which aesthetically fits and has a backround that also fits into DbD. He's a murderer, just like most of the killers we have, he was human, just like Spirit. He is dark, rotten etc.

There is still a novel series everyone seems to forget, which is completely independent from the games in a different universe, which has good survivor options and a Springtrap that they'd have more freedom on as it's not the one from the game.

It just saddens me that, like said above, people just don't care to look beyond the flashy animatronics and the 'cringy' fanbase. I agree, Freddy, Bonnie, the toy animatronics, the nightmares etc. wouldn't fit DbD at all, but, like said, Springtrap would.

  • I believe the portals are hidden until he uses them.

  • Maybe put in some icons that only survivors see on the ui, like one that shows who's working on a Gen, who's being chased, who's cleansing a totem etc.

  • My favorite for kate is:

And whenever i feel ugly, Nancy:

  • A thing that helped me and others was to go to the display settings and set the scale of apps and text to 100%.

    Edit: Too late. 👀

  • Barb Demogorgon with a wig, her outfit but torn out and broken glasses.

  • I love all of them tbh, I just wish you could look closer at them somehow.

  • The desktop version is awesome and beautiful.

But the mobile version lacks a lot of visuals (really like it on the desktop version) and information, you don't see who created a post or how many comments it has before deciding to look at the post.

  • Even tho many would disagree, Nancys prestige set my favorite among all of them, it has a decent amount of blood, goes well with her other cosmetics and doesn't have too much blood.

As for store cosmetic, it would be Nancys Snow Ball dress, I really like the dress and the hair, it always reminds me of Nancy dancing with Dustin at the end of s2, making me smile a bit.

  • I think that for the outfits themselves, they only need to work with the license holders. But to gain the likeness of a character, the actor has to agree.

Then again, may be wrong, but that's how I understood it.

  • We have maggots on the pigs in the game map if you consider them wild life.

  • I mean they could totally made her play Dead by Daylight, while it itself is actually existing in their world.

We know so little, maybe there are currently real human beings being tortured in a realm like this in our reality. 🤔

  • I just hope it doesn't get completely scrapped, I loved it when I first heard it.

Wouldn't mind either if they start giving survivors menu themes and give that one to claudette. 👀

I mean... How would the Animatronics work if they were the killers? And how would they make a justifiable survivor unless it's a killer only... But having a map like the pizzeria would be cool for another "indoor map" but i think it would be mostly a bad idea

I understand everyone who doesn't want a FNaF Chapter as it may be seen as 'cringe' and the robots unfiting with a colorful pizzeria as a map.

But, we have a novel series, seperate from the game. It has Springtrap, the killer, in it. Potential survivors who could also fit. The abandoned childhood home of one of the main characters, which was left to rot, would be a similar map to haddonfield and thompson house.

As to Springtrap, they'd could go creative since the book version is seperate from the game and make it fit into the game aesthetical- and designwise. He's the killer of the series that got trapped in that suit, which got withered, moldy and torn down after time. Doesn't seem too silly for me, we currently have a mangled up girl and a dream demon in DbD, so lore wouldn't be too far off.

As to the survivors, there are many options, they are young adults and would also fit into the game. Then again, we wouldn't need a survivor and this could just be added as a paragraph with Springtrap and maybe the map.

  • Chucky, he's just too small. Making a big one would be kind of silly imo.

FNaF, if done poorly. There are many good options making it fit into DbD, the novel series for example which is seperate to the game universe. But people usually hard pass because they only see the shiny and colorful robots and only the pizzeria. Peoples lack of research would probably make it not happening. But whatever.

Any kind of aliens, yes the Demogorgon's here but Demo doesn't look too out of place than aliens would.

  • I'd say either Jake or maybe, just maybe, Claudette.

If we're talking about licensed characters too, I'd pick either Bill, Tapp, Nancy and possibly Laurie.

  • Rancor: No real counter play.

For survivors either OoO or Adrenaline

  • Not really a new look, but I would personally like that they remove clowns belongings in the father's campell map and make the map more dark and creepier, maybe rework the building since it is by far the most out of place looking building in the game imo and create a different map in one of the other killers realm where he then resides for a while.

  • Would be a nice change, but I already see the countless suicides in the first weeks because people forget they don't have to struggle anymore. 👀

  • Guys, he is referring to his button add-on that makes him able to destroy pallets on vault and the deep wound state that downed him while the killer was across the map. I'm not sure if you're playing along or take that guy seriously.

  • Survivors having first person view, would make spine chill almost a must. Stealth killers could also just sneak up to you without you knowing. Would make them a little bit.. strong?

It's the best it is now, they'd have to rebalance many things if they did change it.

  • I hated it at first, but after a second look, I thought it isn't that bad actually. Won't buy it tho since I left her for Nancy and wait for her to get cosmetics.

  • Fine in what sense? Lorewise everything seems fine to me.

  • I'm sure Peanits said that they stumbled into a little problem in another thread asking for the same. Hope you'll get them soon.

What about the cosmetics I’ve grinded for? Why is it fair that those don’t remain exclusive? Either all event cosmetics should be exclusive or none should. I obviously want the latter and the devs said they want it too, so it would be nice if they showed that.

It is fair because they were announced to stay in store.

  • @PrincessPoop said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1016798#Comment_1016798

Okay but I’m not asking for them for free....

Let me ask you this: how does giving others the ability to earn something that you earned take anything away from you? Again... you guys aren’t answering my question. What makes these cosmetics more special than other event cosmetics?

The same thing that makes legacy special.

  • @PrincessPoop said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1016770#Comment_1016770

Again just because the events happened before the release of the store doesn’t mean they can’t be put into the store now. Either that or put them into the rift.

They wanted release them for free with all the other cosmetics, but didn't because people complained, they also will give it back to people that lost it. You may not understand that but some people care about them and worked for it, even tho the grind wasn't that big, it's still an achievement for some people.

  • @PrincessPoop said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1016664#Comment_1016664

Are you really comparing event cosmetics to legacy? If you think the grind there is in any way comparable then I don’t know what to say. Legacy was a whole other level of grind that would be impossible to replicate now which is why they deserve to remain exclusive.

Why is it fair that I’ve had to grind during other events to unlock my cosmetics and yet they are in the store to buy, but these ones stay exclusive forever? (I personally do not care you can buy them but I’m just making a point.) So again, why should these cosmetics in particular be so special that they should never be able to be purchased/earned again? Why should they “have more meaning”?

It was stated that the cosmetics will stay in the shop unlike the howling grounds outfits, which came out before the store, and the kate top and hillbilly hammer.

  • @PrincessPoop said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1016604#Comment_1016604

Why shouldn’t they be able to be purchasable or earnable again when all other event cosmetics are? What makes these cosmetics so special?

They never were purchasable during the respective event, unlike the blight cosmetics/moon rise cosmetics

They wanted to release them with the other exclusives but people complained so it stays exclusive.

  • David's jacket and Hutress' mask won't be available, they promised to give it people back who lost it, but that's it.

Also Dwight's cap, Nea's shirt and Hillbilly's hammer seem to be exclusive like those two cosmetics mentioned above, but we don't know yet.

  • I started maining Kate when she released, I really liked her story and her outfits. Really hope the next archives will include her somehow.

But there's a thing I have to say... Kate was the best girl, before Nancy released. 😳 Also dropped Kate as soon as the ST chapter released. Nancy is my favorite character from ST so eh, also am excited for her snowball dress coming out.

Nevertheless, I'm happy Kate gets a new set, I just hope the hair won't be too bad in game.

  • We know original killers will get their theme eventually, do you try to be able to put in themes and chase musics to older licensed characters?
