Won't happen, new Predator game is releasing next year and is an asymmetrical multiplayer. Predator: Hunting Grounds.

I enjoy teabagging survivors with Ghost Face
-
I'm a killer main, and to be honest rotate who I play as frequently as I enjoy switching it up. My top 5 killers are Spirit, Billy, Ghost Face, Plague and now Freddy!
That being said, I play survivour pretty often too but have invested more time and bloodpoints playing killer.

Third party programs are only at risk if they are not authorized by us. We have stated in the past that voice chat is okay to use. As a result, voice chat is not cheating.
But assuming it was, how would we enforce this? How can you prove that people aren't communicating with their phones, or by playing in the same room as one another? You would end up in a mess of finger pointing and there is absolutely no way to prove it. We would be banning people purely on speculation, and that is not something we want to do.
Think of a better solution, you're the ones who develop the game! Killers have been complaining about SWF and party chat for months and have every right too. It is so unbalanced and anyone who tries denying it is a fool.
-
Agreed! @Peanits @Patricia @not_Queen ??
-
No. SWF communication is already ruining the killer experience.

Bruh why are killers always complaining? I'm tired of the killer buffs. They nerfed DS, made hit boxes larger, made pickups faster which makes flashlight saves infinitely harder, they nerfed gen speed when more than one person is on a gen, they added a number of high tier killers, removed infinite pallets... Like the list goes on and on and on and they still cry.
I hit rank 1 with Wraith over a year ago before ANY of these buffs and it wasn't even that hard. I bought a friend of mine the game shortly after I got it and he hit rank 1 in 70 hours of gameplay... Again before the killer buffs.
At some point you just have to accept that you're playing wrong and it's not the game, it's you. There's supposed to be a learning curve, you guys realize that right? Like damn.
And the award for most unhelpful post goes too...
Couple of things: 1. I've hit rank 1 multiple times as a killer and am currently rank 4. 2. I never mentioned it's difficult to get to red ranks in my post.
The point of my post isn't that I'm playing bad or finding it hard, it's about having to use Ruin to slow the game down in high ranks which is annoying when you want to play around with different perks.
In red ranks gens should take longer to repair and it should get harder in my opinion.

Meg Thomas' Clothes...

Here here!

Why can't we just balance the game around SWF and add communication into the game for survivors?
How would that fix the issue? Communication between survivors IS the issue.

Ohhhhh, you're saving what you have equipped and then you can select it to quickly change into said loadout.
Yeah, I'm surprised that's not here yet considering Mcote loves the idea.
Exactly! I imagine it'll be implemented soon, would just love to know when.

Jane's definitely the tank with her thick juicy thighs!

I have no idea what that entails.
Would a specific class only be able to use a specific Item and/or Perks?
I think I've done a really poor job at explaining this lol. Essentially a 'loadout' or 'create a class' is just a shortcut for switching between perks. Ideally each character would have 5 allowing for multiple builds making it easier to experiment. For example:
KILLER
Class / Loadout 1: Butcher
- Ruin
- BBQ
- Nurse's Calling
- Sloppy Butcher
Class / Loadout 2: Loop Breaker
- Bamboozle
- Spirit Furt
- Brutal Strength
- Enduring
SURVIVOUR:
Class / Loadout 1: Stealth
- Urban Evasion
- Spine Chill
- Lithe
- Iron Will
Class / Loadout 2: 2nd Chance
- Decisive Strike
- Unbroken
- Dead Hard
- Deliverence
-
@Boss said:
What classes can you even think of for so many Survivors?
Or would there only be a certain amount of classes, and then Survivors are divided amongst those classes?
Which, ironically, would once again just make people go for the best class, making you see the same few Survivors again, with rare occurrences here and there.
I meant loadouts, like Call of Duty 'Create A Class'.

Yeah I meant loadouts lol

It's taking me around 6 - 8 minutes to find a game as a killer - purple ranks
-
I agree with you. I started playing DBD when it was released for free with PS Plus. Me and 9 other friends started playing at the same time and I'm the only person who still plays it...
-
In my experience it's definitely a bug and not latency.
-
No sympathy for you I'm afraid. SWF is literally the most unfair, unbalanced element of the game. It is an immediate advantage to survivors and a huge disadvantage to killers. It's been said hundreds of times, but here's why:
- Team communication: exposing killers location, exposing killers perks, discussing which gens to do, discussing where totems are, discussing who should go for unhooks and who should bait the killer.
-
Was a red rank killer and hadn't experienced any DCs all month. After rank reset I have had DCs in every game.
-
I say just do it when you see it, get the bloodpoints and prevent noed from triggering

@Spaceman94 So levelling gives you a random perk or
Yeah pretty much. Using Claudette I got Borrowed Time at level 4.

I'm playing on Android, didn't get it via google play store.

Holy ######### that grass looks bad. It stands out so much.
Trust me, when you're playing you're not worried about the grass. I'm sure this is an early beta anyway, but they have really nailed the same Dbd experience you get on PC & Console and that's worth the graphics sacrifice. Remember this is a mobile game.
-
I honestly have no complaints. It ticks all boxes for me. It's not as smooth as PC or console obviously, but it is a very good solution to being able to play DBD on the go! Very happy and impressed. Thank you Behaviour. Here are some more screenshots:
-
I'm playing it too in the UK! I have to admit it is way better than I was expecting, I love it. Some changes too. Killers and Survivors are leveled up by playing, not via bloodweb and there are images on the loading screens.
Here are some screenshots. Including my first game! 4K 5 Gens and a DC lol.
-
I'm a killer main and this will make me play survivor more.
-
Amazing! Thank you so much. No longer need to worry about survivors disconnecting and losing out on 100% BBQ BPs.
-
I would love to see this! But to be honest, the loading screens are so boring I'd just be happy with an image slideshow. Or a variety of 'Where's Wally / Waldo?' photos of the survivors and killers lol.

Are adept trophies not tied to getting 4 kills in a single game anymore?
They were when I got the trophies about 3 months ago. I got Ruthless Killer for some and still got the trophy because I sarcrariced 4 survivors.

I am kinda surprised that Whispers is not on the list. Imo the best tracking perk.
Great perk, just not as useful to me as the one's I've mentioned.

@lostandelirious said:
Surely this is purely killer dependant. Perks are definitely way stronger on some killers and are trash on another. Mobility being a defining issue with determining some perks viability/strength.
If we are talking across the board, most universally strong perks, then I don't think 'make your choice' cuts it, skill is rarely useful on any killer lacking mobility. Ruin, is a given, BBQ 'for the blood points', IL give ya and nurses is a strong choice.
Other choices,
Monitor and Abuse - why was this not on your list, or is this a hidden gem no one talks of?
Surveillance/Discorcordance - these two work together or on their own and can be used on any killer.
Whispers - when mastered it is scary how accurate a good killer can pin point locations of survivors and again just as useful with slow killers as mobile ones.
Overcharge/Pop goes the weasel - need to mentioned?
Devour hope/Huntress Lullaby - call me crazy, but I play killer like a made man, I dislike using ruin. Personally I think it wastes a perk slot. I understand it has the potential to slow the game down a lot, but the fact the survivors become aware of it marks it down. Also it limits builds, I often opt for either DH or HL, for their stealthyness. DH when you are one shot downing ppl, it's like a non discriminate 'make your choice', also promotes moving away from the hook and allowing hook rescues (more hooks, more points), and if they don't find it by 5 charges it's Mori time! HL slows the game down and will halt the game if you snowball momentum. But as soon as you put Ruin on these become casualties and are often destroyed in the search for Ruin.
Just my thoughts....
First of all thank you for the amount of detail in your post, this is exactly the sort of stuff I was after. I agree determining a good or bad perk is killer dependent but there are some which are good across all and I believe my top 4 are.
Monitor & Absue doesn't really aid me much with the killers I use to be honest. I believe the perks I've suggested are better, or at least I play better with them. That's why I want to hear other peoples opinion, because everyone has a different one and I'm curious to see which perks everyone seems to agree on.

Avoiding pallet stuns is not always the right strategy, my suggestion is to equip enduring and tank the pallet.
If a good survivor sees you respecting the pallets, they could just milk every single loop around a pallet, faking the drops.
Tanking pallets is way more efficient than respecting them and getting looped one more time.
That's fair enough, I hadn't considered this. I'll try it out next game and see if it works for me. Cheers for the advice.

you forget about sloppy butcher, I would say half+++ of killers equip it
Out of the 4 I've suggested, which would you swap sloppy butcher for?

I got all adept killer trophies on PS4 and my god nurse was the most difficult one! I was red ranks when I was trophy hunting and went from rank 2 to 7. I had never used the nurse up until this point.

Definitely agree, Enduring is still one of the best killer perks.
I never really use Enduring to be honest as I'm usually pretty good at avoiding pallet stuns. What's the most effective way of using it?
-
@FireHazard said:
Excuse me, the Rank 10's would like a recount on NOED.
Haha, it was close to being included in the top 4 but missed out due to the fact it can be taken away simply by cleansing totems.
-
Is it me or is anyone else sick of the fact that this game relays on a perk easily destroyed due to spawn locations(which supposedly got fixed months ago) seriously though, it is hard as hell on a lot of killers to not a game rushed and 3 gens done in the first couple minutes without ruin.
I didn't prestige GF but got him to level 50 and bought all the perks for him. Ruin was my 53rd perk in the bloodweb, NOED was my 54th.
-
Oh my that got me good @Oblitiry

I use Ruin, BBQ, PGTW and Spirit Fury. Ruin is obviously to slow the game down. BBQ is for info and BP. Pop Goes the Weasel is for when Ruin gets cleansed, the buff made it pretty good. Finally, Spirit Fury is for those pesky pallet loops. Even without Enduring it still gives you plenty of time to get a hit in.
That sounds like a decent build. I'm using Ruin, Surveillance, BBQ & Nurse's Calling.
I've got every perk for him now, so am up for trying different builds.
-
I'm assuming they're going to have the classic black robe with red hood? Any confirmation on this?

It runs fine on my Pro. I play daily and have no issues.

@Karanyatsu always avoid LOS, try to be unpredictable, if she can’t see you then walk to cover, don’t run to corners, don’t loop her, basic stealth.
That's just giving tips about surviving, not actually reveling her weaknesses.

I've been using him since launch but am struggling without Ruin, especially with the Wake Up bug.
I have spent over 2 mil on him and have the worst perks! The bloodweb spawning is ridiculous. Much harder when you have all teachables.

If that happens, it is in EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY rare circumstances. I spend most of my time in survivor, and haven't seen that in over a year. That is a rare bug in the pallet generation, and because of it's rarity, it's not a "game breaking issue".
Don't know what games you have been playing but I'm seeing them constantly as a killer. I bet it's another bug from GF release.
I'm getting fed up of the bugs in this game. It's like a hydra. Chop off one head and another 3 grow back.

We do know about it and we are working on a fix. We still need to discuss how we'll handle this, but even if we do decide to ban people who are abusing it (like the Legion blades exploit), there is no need to report it. We can see everyone who's abusing it.
Sorry, I don't believe that. If you can see who's abusing it, why have you not sent them all a message already stating you are aware of what they're doing and will ban them if they continue?
Surely the smart thing to do would be to remove the perk until it's fixed? Instead of allowing players to abuse each match until you've decided what you want to do.
