Meanwhile on the other side of the monitor the father of a little girl applies the bandage on the finger she cut with her little scissor just as he downed the last survivor.
Unlikely? Maybe. Certainly not impossible.
But please carry on explaining how you can know someone who you never met their personality from playing a single game with them
-
First off play however you want. If you want 1k bp and the emblem points of cleansing then you go for it.
But objectivelly
You are kinda throwing when you cleanse dulls in most cases. Not hard throwing or anything but it certainly isn't playing effective
It ofcourse depends a lot on what happens but most of the time it isn't a good idea
Preventing Noed doesn't matter if the gens never get done
Again play however you want. But if you personally want to win more often. It is just better to leave that totem be 95% of the time
-
The hatch doesn't exactly "spawn" into the game
It's just invisible. So if you walk over it there is a small bumb
If you don't pay attention to it you'll probably won't notice but if you know about it you can find the hatch that way before it becomes visible
-
I still believe that players should lose collision after 10-15 seconds of pushing against other players.
15 seconds is still enough for killers to take advantage of it if they are able to catch somebody ofguard but would still stop hostage situations
-
Mostly survivors not knowing how to play vs them.
You have to change your playstyle a lot vs twins and it's more of a macro game then a micro one vs them.
For example against pretty much every other killer survivors want to split up
Against twins you need to stick with one person to avoid mass slugging from victor
A combination of their rarity, requiring a different playstyle and soloq's miscommunications make them a reall powerhouse while they really shouldn't be
-
It's very simple really
If it's an issue i'm having it's a game issue
And if it's an issue you're having it's a skill issue
-
I am convinced that WoO will extend chases of the mayority of solo q players for longer then any exhaustion perk would.
Run them both and anyone can be a decent chaser
-
I don't really see how they would do it. It's one thing for the system to look at the queues and see what's lacking but to look at every killer is another thing entirely
They could make it personal i guess. Like if you haven't played a killer in a while it gets bonus bp
-
Seems kinda like a waste of time to me
No matter on which side of the argument you are one match barelly proves anything.
If the survivors outplay the nurse people are just going to say it was a bad nurse and vica versa
-
I would like another setup killer
I find them fun
-
Doesn't seem too bad
Definitivelly one of those challenges you leave to last but it's bassicilly heal yourself once with a medkit and escape perkless
You'll eventually will get lucky and get hatch or have a good match
-
Seems to be pretty much perfect now
Getting hits is a lot easier but crafty survivors are still able to dodge me if they are unpredictable
Haven't been able to play against him since the hotfix but from the killer point of view it seems very fair now
-
People very often think that looping is the only skill in this game but they are wrong.
Being bad at looping doesn't mean you have no hope for escaping and vica versa being a god at looping does not guarantie you escape.
You can fall for the simpelest mindgames but if you know how to make distance, know how to counter killer perks, know how to be effecient on gens and know how to stay hidden you still have good shot
Likewise being a god at extending chase usually ends up with you being left behind after a huge chase. It alone won't get you out of the exit gates alot of the time
It's kinda like fighting games where you can be a person who perfected all the combos and are able to do 70% of your oppoments life bar everytime you touch them.
That means nothing if your neutral game isn't good to actually get that touch
Being good or bad at one aspect of the game does not mean you are good or bad at the game in general
-
On the other side of the coin
Sometimes it's okay to admit that the tunneling was your or your teammates own doing
Running straight into the killers arms, not body blocking for your teammates, healing under hook vs a stealth killer, bodyblocking with the endurance effect in a dead zone, etc etc etc...
There is a big difference in asking to play fair vs asking to play dumb

Identifying and breaking a 3-gen early is part of skill. If survivors get 3-genned, it is always their fault.
Most of the time yes but not always
If a killer chooses to defend a 3 gen from the start then there is nothing the survivors can do about it.
Not what OP is descibing here where the killer chooses a tunneling strategy to then switch to a 3 gen one but i do want to break the stagnation of a 3 gen always being the survivors fault
If the killer chooses to go for 3-4 gen from the start then the survivors have to deal with it. No planning or perks are going to change that
-
He's a 115 killer who has mobility in his kit
He atleast C to B tier with just that
-
Depends a lot on the survivors tbh
If i'm patient and they give me oppertunities i can honestly hit it quite a few times.
Whenever i get the dailly challenge of hitting them 4 times i always do it in one match and usually well above 4.
You do need to be very patient though. Redgaminggears on youtube shows pretty well how to.
That said the change is still needed i think. Against survivors who don't give you oppertunities it's very hard to hit them and extremely punishing if you miss
-
And unlike other hex perks it isn't a one or done deal.
No unlucky cleansed 20 seconds into the match here
-
Outside of their power Weskers and Trappers movement speed is the same
-
Nah, there barelly are any real issues left. Not enough to completely reset anyway.
Not to mention that everybody's "ideaal" game can be completely differenr so it would be the ideaal game for the person pressing the button
For the vast mayority of the players that would probably mean the game would be worse overal
Not only would i not press it. I would destroy it.
-
I was about to say CoH isn't nearly as problematic as it was before
But then i saw your profile picture
My condolences
-
Most boons are mediocre to bad
And with all the changes even CoH is just good. Nowhere near the powerhouse it once was.
Making shattered hope basekit would make all boons useless
-
Old
It's not even a contest
The animation of dead hard and dropping the pallet takes longer then the endurance effect
So if you time it right you can hit people who use it at a pallet
You couldn't do anything at all vs old distance hard

Didn't know it at the time. Would've still sent it regardless, as it will cause survivors to avoid attempting protection hits running through the gate trying to escape, which is not something solo queue needs right now.
You unhook someone, both hit the gate area, killer is about to down the unhooked survivor, normally the healthy survivor can intervene to save the injured survivor and get protection credit. Now, no matter what, killer gets a kill (or another hook at minimum). Nothing you can do.
That's a bug to me.
If you disagree with a game design you need to put it in the feedback section
Reporting it as a bug only makes it take longer for actual bugs to get fixed.
-
Way to frickin often
When a DC or early give up happens almost always.
If the survivor doesn't struggle and i hear the hatch somewhere on my way to the hook always.
When i still have 5 gens left and the last 2 survivors crouch at me and give me the puppy dog eyes i go afk at the exit gate so they can finish the gens and get out
I need help

Agreed. NGL, it would’ve been fun & funny to throw survivors out the trial though. 😂
But I imagine that would’ve got old after a while, so better this way.
Wesker should chuck survivors out the exit gate and then the Entity chucks them back
-
I know sarcasme is kinda hard to read through text but come on people...
-
While i do think people are a bit quick to call out tunneling and i'm sceptical if OP was actually tunneled 4 times in a row and it wasen't a case of blatent mistakes on their part
I do want to point out that Wesker does have something that aids tunneling in his kit. A fully infected survivor has a quite hefty speed penalty and they can't get rid of it while being tunneled
-
Honestly i think more killer powers should work like this.
I prefer these kind of clutch moments instead of the exit gates being 100% safe
-
I didn't have much time to play lately but i did sneak in his adept yesterday
Going to be able to experiment with perks now so I'll be playing Wesker more atleast
When i have time...
-
One thing i learned from this community is that they are horrible at rating things

Did they nuke MoM again? Last I saw it, it only took 2 protection hits and didn't get removed on conspicuous actions.
They reverted the change
It's bassically like it was with 3 protection hits and no endurance attached
Most people who probably never played MoM to begin with are probably happy with
I though 2 protection hit MoM was so much better
-
What i don't understand is why they reverted MoM back to F-tier when most people said it was weaker and didn't do it with perks like calm spirit that actually got weaker
-
Run away from the tile while the killer vaults
In most tiles vaulting a window even with the increased speed is enough for the survivors to run away and reach another tile.
I honestly find Bamboozle a pretty bad perk. It's a noobstomper, people who realise how slow the vault is will quickly use it against you

So you´re advocating to tunnel? Because i´ve seen survivors complain about getting tunneled (alongside insults) when the killer wasn´t.
It kinda feels like a broken record, where survivors do the same comments after the match, no matter what.
Playing "nice" or "fair" isn´t appreciated by the community. If playing that way gets the killer the same salt as playing "scummy" then guess what killer players will do.
I'm not advocating hard tunneling
I litterally adressed this in the post you quoted.
Just because you won't hardtunnel 3 hooks someone's out of the game means you have to swing 100% in the other direction and kill people as late as possible
There is a middle ground where you can still play somewhat effecient without going all or nothing on a single survivor
That said there are always going to be salty comments from both sides. The answer is to not change how you want to play the game but by turning off the chat and not listen to them

its better because the survivors always feel like I'm nearby lmao. it's why they never saved in that game.
Technically you can hear a difference in the terror radius depending on how close you are but nobody pays attention to that anyway

Actually i think the issue is a different one. 8 hooks, 0 kills and gg ez to be exact. Killer obviously played fair and didn´t tunnel/camp. Which was rewarded with degrading comments. This goes on until a killer doesn´t care about having a fair match and plays as scummy as possible. Which then ruins the game for solos.
To be fair
Going for 8 hooks before killing is about the worst way you can play
No matter how ideal it may be the game is not in this state
I get that hard tunneling isn't nice but that doesn't mean you have to swing completely to the other extreme.
Most reasonable people can't really complain if you get your first kill by hook 5-6 with some hooks spread out
If you have 8 hooks and still no kills your survivor priority managment was bad and you kinda deserve to lose

A refund? I get that hating BHVR is the trend here, but these issues will be fixed.
I understand that the hype will be dead by the time he’s made a functioning killer again, but in that case all you need to do is get a friend to hit you really hard on the head.
I mean tbf
If you refund it now and later buy it again on sale after his issues have been fixed you did save some money.
-
A map wide terror radius might as well be no terror radius
-
After his hitbox nerf he lost all reason to smile
It's trully a sad story

That's the problem I do but my teammate never will it'll be about 95% done I know we won't be able to finish it in time because of how close the hook is so I let go and well no one else does.
I can feel that...
Nothing feels worse then you stop working on the gen squatting and clicking your flashlight at a teammate to just have them stop working on it just for them to completely ignore you and get DMSed
If the stare of my survivor could kill nurse would look like ptb ghostface compared to me

How exactly are you doing another generator in 45 seconds when your Toolbox is depleted after the first?
Do your extra skill checks just magically appear out of thin air?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3165638#Comment_3165638
Same question.
Some of you honestly don't think things through at all.
How many half time gens do you need?
If you can do 2/3ths of a gen in half the time and save some time elsewhere here and there it's already more then worth it. And that is in the worst case scenario of being pushed off
Again i think you're looking to much of your own experience with casual or mediocre players
Nobody complains of inexperienced nurses that can't hit blinks. But about the ones that don't miss
Same principle. Nobody is complaining about hyperfocus vs a team that feeds the killer PR every 15 seconds or users who can't hit 2 greats in a row to save their life
It's strong in the hands of people who barelly miss a great and have teammates that can last a bit in chase
Every perk is bad in the hands of bad players
That said i don't want to see it nerfed too much, probably just make it not work with toolboxes. The synergy wih stake out can stay.
It heavily punishes killers who only focus on one survivor and leave the others be and that's a good thing
-
Let go of the gen when you see the killer is about to hook someone.
If you aren't blinded you can even wait untill the very last second
-
You don't lose the progress you made if a killer interrupts you.
It you can do a gen in 45 seconds and the killer interrupts you after 30 seconds you still did ~2/3ths of the gen in half the time
Also it sounds like you blame a lot of your and your solo teammates mistakes on the perk
You letting people go to stage 2 or die on hook is you misjudging the distance. Not the perk
PR and surge constantly messing you up is your teammates not lasting 10 seconds in a chase. Not the perk.
Sticking to a gen for 45 seconds in a swf even without comms but just reliable teammates isn't hard
-
I like how DbD perks are kinda like a Rorschach test.
Everyone sees something different
-
Thank you!
-
Am i the only who thinks it's not that bad?
It's just doing what you were going to do anyway. Like okay specific map and it has to be you specifically who opens the gate but it seems very much like a set, forget and get it eventually
Nothing like Left for Dead were you have to so something that doesn't make sense in the way the game is today
You can speed it up with map offerings even. Sure it's time consuming but it really doesn't scream like impossible to do to me at all
-
Or do the high IQ move a lot of forum dwellers do and stop playing the game while still complaining about it
-
"Do what your enemy least expects"
Tsun tsu probably
-
Being afraid would be a little difficult to portray but they could make like a corrupted holy knight that sees the survivors as demon spawn
