so you're saying your opinion holds about as much weight as Otz's then? I thought uhhh... Otz has been playing for over 6,000 hours since 2017. You're also saying your opinion doesn't matter, which yeah. I think someone who literally is paid to play DbD professionally since at least 2018 and is his actual career that he uses to pay bills and sustain himself and his wife for years with rent and food probably knows a little more about this game than you.
He's also not omniscient. Just because you play the game for a long time does not mean you know everything about it
It wasen't untill last year that Otz learned how a 50% reduction in speed worked for example. Despite playing the game for like 2-3 years or something at that point
-
WoO was never thrash
That said it also has a very easy counter, just use one of the many ways to give the survivors the so called useless blindness status and laugh as they constantly run into dead zones
-
Remember when you could permanently destroy hooks by sabotaging them
-
Still cranky that they reverted it. The 2 protection version was miles better
I have not seen a single MoM since then. Why revert it to the state where nobody uses it

I wasn't saying there was a hivemind or that all killers thought this. I was saying, however, that the original argument that had been said frequently in the community a while back was more in the lines of what I said in my previous response.
"Frequently"
Like a couple of dozen people on the forums. Out of the million+ playerbase
Even if the entire forum agreed to something you still wouldn't have even a fraction of the community
Almost anything that is said here is largely irrelevant to the larger picture

Then no hard feelings, but I even tried to give an example of tact. In your original comment you paraphrased what they said to make it sound very polite. If they had asked me to take a minute to space it out then yeah my reaction I would consider myself rude. Fair.
However that’s not what was said, and the less wording, the more open to interpretation I guess. I even put a crying smile to make it seem less serious.
What I do find “strange” though is the fact you’re teaching me how to use the quote button, when I quoted you to get this response. 😅
One thing you need to realise is that a lot of people here aren't native english speakers
The way people say things isn't always the same as english people would. Like i said to me that person wasen't rude at all.
It's 100% possible that's just because it doesn't translate rudely to my language but in general unless people are actually slinging insults to you it's safe to assume that any rude remarks are more of a language difference then them actually intending to be rude
Aah the first time you responded to me there wasen't a quote. You can tell cause when you quote someone their message will be above yours.
The forums can be a bit buggy sometime so it could be it just didn't register right
Hope you'll enjoy your stay in the forums. We do have good discussions here from time to time

Yeah, and I would have reciprocated a positive response if it were positive. The guy has thousands of posts but can’t politely tell someone who posts for the first time a bit of advice without sounding rude?
So yes I did call them entitled because they begged. Right? That’s how it sounded to me. Just because people use words like please doesn’t make something nice.
if I asked you to please use a breath mint, your breath really smells like cheeks. That’s not really positive right? Or I can whisper in your ear hey man you need some gum. Which one would you prefer Mr Preacher?
Where as later in my thread someone corrected me in a less rude way, and I thanked them. So no ouch on my end lol. Thanks for your concern though big dog ,but I think I’ll be able to walk from here :)
I don't see how the first person was in anyway more rude in telling you your post needed some space then the other person
Sorry but in my eyes you were very much the rude person, might not have been the intention but that's how it looked like.
No hard feelings
Also if you respond to someone there is a "quote" button under their post. If you click that the person you are responding too gets a notification.
Then you can be sure they'll see your response

I always saw toxic stuff as things you do for the sole purpose to annoy somebody
Camping and tunneling i don't see as toxic cause most of the time the purpose of it is to win the game
T-bagging and hitting on hook i do see as toxic cause it doesn't achieve anything other then trying to annoy the other person. Heck in most cases it even hurts what you are trying to achieve
-
Ouch talk about a bad first impression
Very strange to talk about being more positive but instantly calling a person entitled for asking to take a minute to make what you said readable
People don't tend to listen to people who don't practise what they preach
-
If i don't see a boon totem in play before i'm able to cleanse all totems then it's on the boon user for not using their perk
Way to often do i see people run a boon and not set them up untill a survivor is already out of the game
In that case sorry but you had your chance. I'm choosing my inner healing cause i can atleast rely on it being there
-
That's a good idea and all but i can't help hearing the entity in a shao khan voice yelling "finish him!" When the killer downs a survivor on dead hook to then yell "You suck!" When the killer decides to slug instead

hahaha tell me you've never played any other multiplayer game or very little without telling me you never have do it xD
as example Play League or CSGO for one year and then come back lul, this talk always "dbd is the most toxic game ever" babble ! not more not less...
Nah
I've played League, DbD is by far still the worst community
Other games might have more extreme cases of it but there is no other game where the community is so generally negative then DbD's

His addons also require a fair amount of time to charge up. Aka someone who feeds him.
Are his addons strong? Absolutely! And i wish we had more killers with a addon variety like Myers.
In regard, if that addon needs to be toned down. There don´t seem to be particuarly many Myers out there, insta killing survivors. At least i can´t remember the last time, i´ve faced one. What i see however, are a lot of players with varying nicknames that ask to be moried by Myers.
So is it really an issue, if you get that once or twice per year?
That's my biggest issue with the tombstone piece, someone had to feed him. That someone doesn't have to be you
If it only allowed Myers to mori people who are fully stalked it would fix most of the issues
Your second argument doesn't really make sense. Millions are playing this game. Your personal experience does not reflect the game on a whole. It happens regulary enough for people to make threads about it atleast
And even if it is super rare. Imagine if there is a random chance that you can spawn in as killer and all gens are instantly fixed or you spawn in as survivor on the hook in second stage and it can only happen once a month per player.
Would that be fine? It's only once a month
-
@Tsulan said:
Is Myers suddenly considered OP or something? Wasn´t he among the weaker killers?
Myers is among the weakest killers
His addon is among the strongest though
What other addon allows you to kill a survivor that you haven't even seen all game untill that point

I was tier 70 like 3 weeks ago I just want this challenge for bloodpoints
The amount of bloodpoints you get from this challenge doesn't change though
Doesn't matter if you get it first try or third try you get the same amount
Heck you probably will get more bloodpoints from just playing normally rather then try to force it
-
You know you don't have to get the challenge first try right?
Just play normally, except with a key and hatch perk.
With soloq being what it is you'll get it sooner rather then later.
The archive challenges is what keeps this game fresh. I'd like them to stay varried
-
They kinda are.
Gens blocked by the entity can't regress or be kicked so gen blocking perks don't work well with gen kick perks
Regressing gens can't be kicked so if you can automatically regress a gen you can't use your kick perks
-
Survivors also can escape with one perk
A bad one even
The selfcare challenge proved that
Dbd is a very snowball heavy game. If any side makes enough mistakes too much in a row then what build they used doesn't matter
-
First no, i still have challenges i want to do
Second do you really think 1 week is enough to say anything?
-
The only reason you should ever lock both is if the match is practically over and you are farming points
-
After playing him again because of some daillies i had i would be lying to myself if i said he wasen't fun to play.
I think he needs some help but not as much as the general opinion thinks he needs
-

Literally play 4 matches with a cake.
5-6 matches realistically
And prime users will still have 400k more then me if they do the same
-
I want an addon now that makes sadako the size of a finger
-
If you spend 940 hours in a game and think it's boring you are most likely lying to yourself
You wouldn't spend your time into it if it actually was boring
-
@dspaceman20 said:
I say buff the numbers even more. It should be like a reverse thanataphobia
So like 2% increase in healing/unhooking speed per injured survivor and give it a boost when everyone is injured?
That does not sound good
-
Meanwhile i am here thinking how handy 400k bloodpoints would be right now
It honestly seems more worth then some skin that a lot of players probably won't use cause there are like 50+ characters now

Its been some time friend! Do you still feel the new MoM is better than the old broken version? I barely ever see it
There is no new MoM anymore
They reverted it back into meaninglessness
Just cause this community can't judge a perk to save their life

Circle of Healing is better than Self-Care in every way.
Original chapters require buying them.
A majority of new players and some existing players have not bought Mikaela.
Self-Care got massively nerfed.
Self-Care is freely available to all players.
When the good option costs you and the bad option is free, that's what Pay-To-Win means.
It doesn't cost you any real money
If it's available in the game without any monetary expenses then it's not pay to win.
By that logic every perk is pay to win cause you have to spend bloodpoints to get them to tier 3
-
@Adjatha said:
Circle of Healing costs money and not everybody is on-board with the Pay-To-Win model of game balance
It's a original chapter?
Most of the best perks/killers are free
it's not even close to pay to win
-
It's honestly surprisingly low with how many people give up on games
-
The only thing annoying about that challenge is that there are some killers you can't really stun with pallets
It really wasen't that hard for me, got it third try
-
This honestly wouldn't be a bad post to pin
Way to many people misunderstood how the system works
-
There is a small window between dead hard ending and you getting stunned if they throw the pallet afterwards.
Takes a bit to get the timing down but if you are breathing down their neck and they want to use dead hard to make a pallet "always" safe then it will pretty much always result in a down+pallet for the killer
Only time dead hard works like that if is the killer lunges for the pallet which is fine. The perk does still need to provide benifit
There is also the auto dead hard script but if you swing at a pallet when they are at the other side you can trick their cheat program to waste it
I'm personally a big fan of what they did with dead hard. They nerfed it but still kept it useable unlike some other perks
-
I don't think you realise how much difference 115 to 110 makes
-
The killer has weaker chase perks cause they have their strength in chase by base.
Their power
If killers should have equally strong chase perks as survivors then survivors should by base also get a chase power
Also you're idea of losing a chase is pretty weird. When you get stunned by a pallet you still took a recourse out of the game. That's not a lost chase
-
I played her yesterday for a dailly if that helps.
She's just really hard for me and i enjoy other killers more
-
Tons of people love this game, always remember that these forums just like any other forum in excistance is the loud minority
I absolutely love this game, something about the cat and mouse playloop that just never gets old
Visual and sound design is also just top notch
-
Wouldn't call it a need but a good runner up would be sole survivor
If you are the kind of person that's in "mmr hell" this is a amazing perk
Just play like normal and in the event of your teammates falling like flies you still have a pretty decent shot at escaping through the gates in a lot of maps
It's a insurance perk but it's surprisingly effective
-
I don't
Cheaper bloodwebs beats a perk for more bloodpoints any day
Not to mention that bbq really didn't do as much as people thought it did
It was good for bloodpoints but overrated.
-
Another person that only wants to see other asymetrical games in the hopes of seeing dbd die
It's sad and hurts those games more then anything.
Evil dead and dead by daylight have practically nothing in common other then being horror and asymetrical
-
I see dulls as more of a meta game objective
It won't help you win the match but they will give you points for the bloodweb
Problem with this thread is that it's very generalised and the harsh choice of words of throwing
At base doing dulls is ineficient. In some scenarios like with perks you can make the loss of time an investment to gain a benifit later though

This answer is hilarious
Hilarious or not it's what it is
-
See this is the mistake a lot of people seem to make lately.
You did not pay for the game
What you paid for is being allowed to use the software to get in the game
That's all you have, access to the game. Nothing more, nothing less
You can't play how you want. If you don't follow the rules the devs made they have every right to kick you out
For example excessive DCing
It would be simular like buying a ticket to a party and when a song you don't like comes up that you go to the DJ and skip the song. You would get kicked out too
-
My favorite buff that i heard is still that all other survivors get 1 condemnation when a survivor get rid of theirs
Get rid of the curse by spreading it and stuff
-
@GoshJosh said:
All players should lose collision with each other after five seconds. Anything beyond that just allows stupid grieving like this.
This
but 10 seconds.
It takes longer then 5 seconds for plague to fully infect someone especially if they are hugging her with her small fov
-
You're just trying to trick people into letting more people go to spite you
It's quite genius tbh
-
100% deserved
If you want to play online games it's your responsibility to have stable internet
-
His terror radius is like +50m with distressing
If you get insta downed by a 30 second duration expose status from a killer that's 50 m away it's kinda your own fault.
It's a gimmick tbh
