Should gen slow downs be limited?
If exhaustion perks have "exhaustion" to prevent stacking them, shouldnt slow down perks have a similar limitation?

They do have limitations: the killer needs to complete objectives, hook a survivor, down a survivor, etc.Β
Meanwhile, exhaustion perks have literally no conditions, survivor have for free at their dispose.
Should survivor speed ups be limited, capped heal speeds, capped gen perk and item interaction so that only 1 gen perk works at a time.
Sure...After you remove prove thyself, toolboxes, stakeout + hyperfocus combo which ive started to see in many of my matches. :)
Sometimes i cant even keep up with the gen speeds.
i guess those βextraβ 10 seconds is all killers need to combat the prove/hyperfocus/stakeout meta πππ
They should cap speed ups and slowdowns tbh
why it hasn't been done 6 years into the game? I don't know
sure, right after they balance the maps, nerf toolboxes and prove thyself.
Its just silly that survivor mains completely forget that they have the tools to fight gen slowdown perks. Survivors issues arent killers having perks, its many other things that are usually their own fault, but thats another topic all together which this forum has many already ( SoloQ hell )
My dude, it's not uncommon for a fast first chase to result in 2 gen pops. Gen slowdown is mandatory because survivor meta is 45 second gens.
The strongest gen perks (and toolboxes) on both sides are too strong regardless of whether they're allowed to be combined or not, honestly.
That said, overcharge and call of brine shouldn't stack.
Sure thing,,when every single gen speed perk gets deleted of the game and only toolboxes remain ( bnp deleted as well) ,,a survivor being able to solo a gen in 45 secs with hyperfocus build is unholy
Seriously, it takes a survivor 1.5 minutes to do a gen, even with COB+overcharge it takes 2.5 minutes to fully regress that gen, which can be completely stopped by a 1 sec gen tap.
They kinda are.
Gens blocked by the entity can't regress or be kicked so gen blocking perks don't work well with gen kick perks
Regressing gens can't be kicked so if you can automatically regress a gen you can't use your kick perks
Well that depends. If gen speed up perks get a limitation then we can talk about slowdown
That's quite the bold statement to make. Unfortunately that type of argument is a slippery slope that isn't exactly relevant to just 1 side in this game
Even if with Stakeout, it feels so disgustingly op for some reason
No. Killers use 4 perks, survivors use 16 combined. among which at least 8 is gen rush perk most of the time
No.
I think a video of all Gen perks Items and Addons should be done... to show what is capable and what the extremes are
Choy already did a video of: Call Of Brine, Overcharge and Ruin (seems that Ruin only does base regression)
So all that's needed is: Pop, Eruption, PR, Gift Of Pain, Thana, Dying Light... then Prove Thyself, Resilience, Stakeout, Hyperfocus... ETC (I can't remember all of them)... then Toolboxes with and without Charge addons, speed addons and BNP's
And then again going through all of the Maps to figure out why things are strong VS weak
Just saying having video evidence should be entered... but then again it's all in a vacuum so a grain of salt should be put on it
Then do the same thing with healing
And Hook timers
Cause having the numbers isn't everything... actual in game proof to go along side those numbers would be good
Because BHVR
There should be a threshold of how much gen regression you can stack.
