i reallly like these changes overall the only ones I have a problem with is;
Wretched fate might be to be toned back a bit, nut I do really like the idea. The current iteration is quite boring.
Forced hesitation does not need a buff, it is a pretty strong perk but make it any stronger it makes it even more unhealthy perk than it already is, that being a perk that encourages slugging.
And 2 can play, just needs the buff to the blind anything else than that is I feel uanessacry, a hex that can reactivate itself is pretty strong, it just needs a decent effect to pair with it, and a 3.5 sec blind is more than enough.
Two Can Play is pretty annoying to get running. Making it easier to trigger, but weakening the respawn mechanic a bit would make it smoother to use.

I dont see why we need a new item category were items basicly do the same as an ultra rare addon.
Just make that ultra rare addons. But all these are welcome additions to a huge item overhaul, which is very overdue imo.
The new rarity thing is mostly there because of the way these items would work and how they would be obtained. Also, because just an item with addons locked in would be kinda awkvard.

There is almost no overlap between the 2 games. They can function independently.

It's about as close to fortnite as it can get without breaking from its horror themes. This game started out with original characters and original lore, but now it has become essentially a theme park for all horror/thriller adjacent intellectual property. I have no problem with crossover DLCs or anything like that; however, the only thing people are asking for nowadays are X, Y, and Z licenses from their favorite show/movie/game/etc. instead of hoping that the devs can create something new and fresh.
This also keeps the gameplay stale because why improve anything/iterate on your own content if you can have the same engagement, if not more by grabbing a massive license? People return/join for big license releases just to try them out, even if they don't end up staying; but for the people that actually play this game and care about the gameplay loop, it only gets worse over time.
People used to love original chapters, now they are met with lukewarm "enthusiasm" from content creators and the community while we all wait for the next licensed chapter news to release. I understand that there is a lot of money to be had by licensing major franchises, but it's just sad to see another game that had its own unique identity become another (in my opinion) hodgepodge of disparate IPs all trying to get you to swipe your credit card as much as possible.
I want more original chapters too :(
All Things Wicked was an awesome chapter, and Doomed Course could have also been great, if it came out in the shape it currently is in.
WE NEED MORE ORIGINAL CONTENT!!!
-
Edit: Added some more QOL changes and included the offerings as well.
Disclaimer for the offering changes:
• In conjunction with these changes, Human Greed would also ideally recieve a buff in a for of it spawning 2 extra chests.
-
Edit 2: Made some small changes to the ideas for Dracula's perks.
-
Replacing one of the chapters with a health chapter isn't the best idea...
However, having only 3 full chapters, one each 4 months, would be fine.
-
As for Hag, she could get an add-on pass, as some of her add-ons are... eh.
Also, she should get a speed boost when teleporting to a tripped trap, that would feel great. And another teleport range increase would be nice.

make Artist more fun to play as
Hell nah, they will buff and make her simplier and then smash with pointless nerf into the ground after complains, like it was with Twins.
Just left her alone, she is very fun to play as, just very small amount of players understand how to play her.
She is perfect as is atm. Sure, survivors don't have a lot of fun with a constant birddemic, but that cannot be changed unless we want to give her a Freddy treatment (which I don't).

more than half the time, the perks do not do what the perk is be good at. For example, Hex:Two can play is a perk that is suppose to flashlight blind the survivor. It is terrible perk and does not flashlight blind the survivor very well.
Residual Manifiest perk allow you to apply blindness on a killer. it does a terrible job at keeping blindness on the killer.
Potencial energy is a perk that allow you to store repair charges. No one uses the perk.
to this day, I still find it funny that Unbound requires you get a hit, lasts a short duration and than requires you to vault a window to lose distance only to get the most mild haste bonus possible. Maybe one day they'll buff this perk to grant 7% haste for 30 seconds.
you cannot say that they do not have unique perk designs but the unique perks design are atrocious in balance.
Most of these could be improved with simple number fixes and tweaks, tbh.
Except Potential Energy. But that perk was a solution to a problem that doesn't exist anymore, much like Shattered Hope.
-
I'ts sad that the Lunar New Year event apparently got replaced by the Blood Moon.
I mean, is there a reason for the two to not coexist?
-
There should be one extra chest.
And, to avoid issues with killer props, they should take priority over chests.
And and, buff Human Greed to give you 2 extra chests.

You're gonna need to elaborate on this one
If I understood it correctly, it would make it so you can't play a survivor you died with for a few minutes. Unnessesary, imo.
-
I think that the Mangled update was a horribly misplaced one. If anything, permanent Hemorrhage was way worse than the debuff from Mangled (unless you used Self-Care) and killed a lot of alternative healing (Counterforce, Solidarity, Reactive Healing).
My opinion is that Hemorrhage should be timer based. Mangled should stay until healed.
-
Why make this a Hex AND Scourge Hook? Seems like an excessive drawback to me.
-
Seen the Mintskull video, I assume.
In my opinion, the concept you created is fine, although the entire part focused around hooked survivors seems excessive to me.
-
Eh, I'm fine with it.
Thousand times better than Eyrie of Crows.
-
Ever tried it with Hyperfocus?
The combo can be pretty nasty.

How did overcharge make gens regress at 400% speed? In every description I find, it says 200%.
The person in the first video says 600% and the person in the comments says 500% (if both of them are combined).
It was quickly toned down from 400 to 200 after a PTB. In 6.1.0 PTB patch notes, you can see it.
-
Of course, his vaulting, breaking and stun times slowly reducing as the match goes on.
Some kind of a stealth mechanic is a given too.
Maybe some kind of a boost while he is out of sight, similarly to one of the 2v8 classes?
-
More original chapters and hopefully a lot QOL stuff.
-
I hope both recieve bugfixes and Pinhead gets better chains.
And that's all.
-
Survivor main.
We could do this forever.
I'm bored now.
-
That sounds more like a you problem, tbh.
Blindness is one of the weakest status effects in the game. Only things like Deafened do even less.
-
I kinda agree with that.
-
Blindness does nothing against SWFs and even Solo Q can deal with it, given they know how.
Knockout (the perk that was likely used in these matches) is in dire need of a rework, true. But Blindness as a status effect is fine as is.
-
I was putting in killers like Hag and Trapper.
Both need some help.
-
The better choice would be to swap how the effects work and make the aura hiding effect time-based, while making other effects work indefinitely.
-

Mostly I play Unknown with one brown addon because I think 80% of them are boring
Yeah, half of his add-ons have really small/boring effects.
-
Yes, bHVR, please! Give us this event again!
And as for the Blood Moon, is anything stopping them from just.... placing it in a different time of year?
-
Good changes to Puntured Eyeball, Last Known Recording, Serum Vial and Homemade Mask.
Captured by the Dark is already quite good. I'd add in the buff, but keep the downside.
Front Page Article is also good enough, imo. The new effect is really nice, though. I would maybe give it to another add-on. Both Sketch Attempt and Device of Undisclosed Origin have Oblivious as their effect, which is excessive imo. So one of them would be good for that.
-
I think that they shouldn't have the same exact drawback for all of them. WS should have Exposed, and TC should have Oblivious and maybe Blindness outside of the perk's effects.
And one other thing, some of the dumb conditions should be removed (random gen block negating Weaving Spiders is a pain)
-
What do you exactly want to do with him?
He has been the bing bong fella for a long time, and I don't see a reason for changes.

Cuts to a scene where everyone is throwing small offerings into the fire, when Meg suddenly yeets a comically large door.
I can imagine it very vividly...
-
I have one, if anyone is interested.
Spine Chill (Rework):
• This perk activates when your aura is shown to the killer. While your aura is revealed, the perk's icon lights up and an auditory warning starts playing.
• For every 12/10/8 seconds of your aura being revealed, gain a token, up to 2/3/4. Each token delays the revealed aura by 1 second.
(Explanation: If you have 4 tokens and the killer uses an aura reading perk, he is still able to see your aura, but not where you are currently, but where you were 4 seconds ago. The aura reading also starts and ends later, so the duration of the aura read stays the same.) -
@Oputeeva said:
True he is busted and very annoying to play against, especially when he plays with strong addons, it becomes a nightmare every loop is unsafe just as overtuned Houndmaster
Not every loop is supposed to be 100% safe.
Doctor is perfectly average and not OP in any way. The only argument could be made about his synergies with terror radius perks, and even then, the perks suck in every other situation so it's niche at best.
Nurse is busted. Any killer worse than Spirit is not.
-
Dracula is only stronger because Bat Form is not his only form.
If he had Bat Form and Vampire Form without Hellfire only, he would be worse than her.
That's it.
-
No. :)
-
No idea. I don't like it.
And also, how is Airlock Doors an offering? Did we forget about the lore? Weren't offerings supposed to be small and easy to burn/throw into a fire?
How the hell are you going to yeet a door into a fire? Makes no sense.
-
My suggestion is this:
Try to loop her similarly to other killers. She really struggles when the loop has an odd shape, such as the ones on Autohaven. Just be wary around pallets and windows.
Holding W and camping pallets is a death sentence.
You can use clutter to make it harder for Snug to catch you.
Houndsense is mostly not an issue, at least basekit.
-
I just want BHVR to make totems harder to find.
It that too much to ask for?
Is it THAT hard to just find some more discreet spots for them that aren't facing a gen 4 meters away from it?

How many times do we have to post this?
Because Invocations are permanent effects that change the game. They're intended to permanently change the game in your favor in exchange for a mere minute of your time in the basement. You can snuff Boons, you can destroy Hexes, but the Killer can do nothing once an Invocation is cast. Because that's the point of Invocations.
Why should we have multiple game-changing, game stacking effects go off together? If you want to have that much game-changing power, then bring your two Invocations and do them. I mean do you really think it's fair to subject a Trapper to forever aura read and also less charges on one gen? I don't think so. That sounds OP to me.
There's an argument to be made for changing the effect doing an Invocation has, like maybe Treacherous Crows shouldn't perma Break you and should perma Blind you instead. But there is none, not one, except "Because I wanna win even harder and be superman against M1s that cannot handle it" for asking for Invocations to stack this way. I mean what if we get an even stronger one and Invocations can stack? Imagine Weaving, Crows, some Invocation that gives permanent 3% Haste, and some Invocation that permanently reduces the Killer's speed by 5% or something. Imagine that. And they all stack.
If they want to do more Invocations in the future, they cannot have them stack. Because four people can bring them and then have a bunch of things stacked in their favor so the Killer can't do ANYTHING. Like it or not, Invocations need to stay unstackable. Or do you want Killers buffed even more to handle the possibility of an Invocation meta? I don't.
Don't buff Invocations by making them stack. Buff them by buffing what they do individually so you only need to take one.
That would probably be the best.
I hate the "one size fits all" way they are handling them atm. The broken is outweighing the advantages of both perks currently.
But, the problem isn't in the timer, hell, I'd argue that 60 seconds is just right. But it's the drawbacks and weird conditions that drag them into uselessness.
Weawing Spiders having a random chance of getting randomly blocked? Treacherous Crows only working based on a terror radius?
I don't even think the numbers are that weak, it's just the downsides that drag it down.

You have to think further. Much further. These will not be the only Invocation Perks. More are guaranteed to come. Imagine 4 Invocation Perks all activated at once. Those are powerful effects for all survivors, and for the price of just one Broken effect and 60s (if you do it solo). That would be way too powerful. Not to mention SWF in combination with that.
Until that day comes, it will be 2030 already.
Plus, they will probably just create something like "One random pallet gets rebuilt, but only if you do it on a Friday exactly at midnight. You also get broken. And the pallet can be also broken in 0.2 seconds."
-
They should slow down the influx of new chapters.
4 full chapters + multiple paragraphs is just too much.
They should reduce it to 3 chapters per year and focus more on quality, not quantity.
-
The forums sometimes stutter when you go into a discussion. As far as I know, it happens on every platform and it's sometimes not avoidable.
Could we please get a fix for that? It's annoying.
-
Streetwise. I don't know why, I just do.
Lightweight is really underated though.

@ChucksterMainin said:
Why do they require 2 cast, why can it not work like Boon 1 cast?
Another reason why Invocation should never be ran such terrible design.
This would make sense... if the Invocations had different drawbacks and were actually worrh running.
Right now, it's just another reason to avoid them
