Only your own victim complex it seems.
What victim complex is that?
Because I changed my main?

Felix isn't fooling anybody

Toxic yes
Fragile no

You gotta stop playing nurse so you can learn this alternate game mode with pallets and loops
-
How do you kill what was already dead

And why is that?
This topic is impossible to discuss without being modded, it's a completely one sided argument so there's no point in engaging with it.
All I can say is that it should have been a new character

I'm a David main and I'm pretty sure most David mains are ok with it.
I switched to Jeff
It's a waste of years of grinding but whatever

I played two games as Ghostface, that was enough for me.

At least having a 3 second stun over 4 is good.
Can't give them too much credit for that when they added the crippling fatigue after the original rework then waited years to adjust it
-
Not much has changed, low MMR players are still going to lose and cry about everything, while Legion is toothless against any competent SWF or even solos.
-
They buffed two weak killers that are still weak, get over it.
-
If survivors can win by just running and pre dropping then what chance on earth do the loopable killers have?
Yeah figure that one out
-
How bad are these people who let Legion get every frenzy hit, is everyone afk?
-
All CoH does is make a bad situation worse, love tap "nerfs" aren't gonna fix anything. BOONS. SHOULDN'T. HAVE. BEEN. ADDED.
-
It's because he's even worse now, which is hard to believe I know.

They treated the reveal tweaks as more of a QoL however in reality it was a massive nerf as it is significantly easier to reveal him now. I’d even go as far as to say that his reveal nerf outweighs his buffs landing him actually weaker now when the PTB changes were intended to actually improve him. Regardless he needed a lot more buffs than he got, still terrible.
Exactly

Probably afraid a new character wouldn't sell

Still not enough second chances eh?

Does bleedout raise the killer's MMR?
-
SWF dc is a nice bonus, it means they have to wait longer. Better than a 4K to be honest.
-
A 4k can be the difference between a pip or double pip. Lots of survivors always assume it's personal.
-
Truth is ranks never measured skill, it was easy to reach red ranks so the "skill" gap between players varied wildly. Emblems encouraged both sides to farm each other (bandaid fix btw), so there was a motive to play less "sweaty". Both things contributed to the matches feeling more relaxed, but also more random.
MMR's simplicity means if you get a lot of escapes/kills you will get tougher, faster matches. You have to play more optimal or you'll lose. If you don't want to sweat for escapes or kills, you have to accept that you're going to "lose" a lot more often.
Both systems have flaws, but the core issues are gameplay related: tunelling/camping/gen speeds/map design/killer balance blah blah blah
-
They had to toss survivors another chew toy to play with for a week, because they've been unhappy with recent anti-loop killer releases.

may be one of the worst ideas i have ever seen. might as well shut down the game right after doing so
Why? SWF is fair and balanced, all top tier killer players love playing against them. There shouldn't be an issue.
-
I don't trust any buff or rework to actually work in the killers favour

Splitting an already dwindling player base just for playing with friends is a terrible idea and will kill the game, as several others have already said above. No killer will choose to play against SWF if given the choice, not even for faster queue times. The fact people are asking for an option not to play against SWF should be sufficient evidence of that.
There are a lot of killers that claim they like playing against SWF let's call their bluff

you mean the game with an already toxic community doing a collab with another franchise with a highly toxic community made dbd even more toxic than ever before?
Who could've seen that coming
Wait till the FNaF's chapter

NOED is another perk that affects solos 10x more than swf. Against solos, NOED is guaranteed to go off and get even the worst killer at least one pity kill. Swfs can easily coordinate to either A) cleanse all totems before endgame or B) quickly locate NOED and go for a coordinated rescue.
The real problem is that NOED is weak vs SWF (like many killer perks, hmm.) not that it's sometimes effective vs Solo.
-
@Sluzzy said:
Lets see, the killer "failed" to stop the gens from being repaired? He gets a speed boost and exposed instant down capability.
That is indeed rewarding failure.
I've seen too many killers win only because of perks like NOED, Blood Warden, No Way Out. When slowdown perks weren't used.
Don't you complain about slowdown perks too?
-
Yeah I'm not trying to be mean to console players, they've been treated like garbage by BHVR but that's no reason to buff DS. Maybe they should fix optimisation instead.
-
It's been stigmatised for years thanks to the narrative pushed by streamers and the weird bully culture that surrounds DBD in general
-
There is no problem with NOED. It's pure entitlement, not only do the survivors hold all the power over it's use, it requires getting hit which is the survivors fault. Unlike many survivor perks that reward misplay.

Or...we buff solo and then buff killer. Removing SWF would make killers like Nurse or Blight practically unbeatable.
Good luck keeping the killers around if they buff solo. No one's gonna wait a year for killer buffs, which wouldn't happen anyway.

Update: I see more and more survivors burning Macmillan estate map offerings, tbagging at the exit gates after I score only 1 kill. God damn the game has become even more frustrating and demoralizing to play.
It doesn't get any better, what you see is what you get.
-
That short period of time after they fixed god loops right before adding breakable walls was the last time I had hope for DBD

I’m pretty sure you aren’t “most people” based on your post count and presumably extremely high MMR. What you’re describing is basically the matchmaking putting you against equally skilled survivors versus random people when you are a very high level killer. That’s a good thing in fact, it’s just apparently you don’t like the high level meta as much as playing totally random weaker players.
So it’s not MMR that’s the problem, it’s shaking up the meta at high level play. Address a couple of things like Dead Hard and buff some of the still too weak killer perks to make more loadouts more effective at high level play and that would probably address your issues.
It's gonna take a lot more than that to fix

They should rework the whole game while they're at it.
That's what I thought the topic was about when I read the title
-
Well they tightened the search ranges but also lowered the soft cap which means anyone who was already at the soft cap won't see much difference (aka sweatfest) but if you were somewhat below it you're now more likely to encounter the sweaty SWF/Blight/Nurses because they don't want them to wait in queue too long.

If you can't hit the DS skill check you deserve the hook.
If other skill checks lag they should remove them too.
If the game is so badly optimised on console then they shouldn't have sold it to console players in the first place.
-
Do all other skill checks lag on console too? Maybe they should just remove skill checks...

Exactly, both sides have their problems and the killer will feel a little more and take it personally because even if the game gave a 90% winrate to the killer, someone would always complain about feeling more pressure on the killer's side, no matter how strong the role was, exactly because the game is asymmetrical (1vs4) and all the major events that occur in the match always depend much more on how the killer behaves and reacts.
Nah it's because over half the killer roster is worthless against people who know what they're doing
-
I don't know but I'm doing my part to find out
-
Is it even possible to "chill" while playing killer anymore? I guess I could be chilling while standing next to a hook as Bubba, that's pretty chill.
-
I chill as survivor while winning at the same time
