Once and yes it’s an exploit imo. Obviously impossible downs to hooks should not be a thing and this isn’t the only place you can abuse it, just the most well known. GL getting any action on it though.
Lucky you didn’t run into the no mither variant because then bleeding them out doesn’t work.

I'll add some translations of arguments for teabagging so we can read the actual arguments.
'It's just crouching': I like to gaslight
'It's just smacktalk': This is either 'I'm 14 or younger or have the mentality of someone 14 or younger' or 'I have no empathy'; possibly both
'Maybe video games aren't for you': I like bullying but can only do it online since there are real life consequences to doing it in real life so I want to victim blame instead of owning up to my actions
'It's not toxic': I like telling other people to feel what makes my life more convenient instead of acknowledging people react differently
'It's been around forever': 'Boys will be boys' variation or a variation of 'It's just locker talk' that has been used to try to excuse bad behaviour
It's fun: Either 'I'm 14, etc' as above and/or 'I enjoy trying to upset other people because my life is miserable so my main source of enjoyment is trying to make other people feel as bad as me.' This could also be 'Other people's feelings are secondary to me'
There is the rare 'This is out of character for me but I was tilted and/or had a bad day and I'm trying to retroactively defend my decision instead of admitting I'm human and just made a bad choice just like everyone sometimes does' but normally it's one of the above
Pretty much this. It’s justification for being needlessly being a jerk without consequence. Sure some are maybe too sensitive to it but is it really that hard to not be a jerk? Wait of course it is…
-
I have heard that teabagging in this game was deliberately done to look fluid as to ‘harmlessly smack talk’ the other side. Not sure if true but based on what I actually have seen this would not surprise me.
They could have added taunts which would only work once every minute or so when in vision and a certain range of the killer and give you blood points in exchange for revealing your location and aura to the killer for a few seconds and if they chase you they also get blood points. If you lose them, more blood points, if you get hit or downed the killer gets points instead. If the killer ignores you, more blood points for the taunter. That to me is harmless smack talk. Sure some will get upset by it but as an actual game mechanic it’d be tolerated more.
But no, let’s waste resources on making teabagging looking fluid.

I like to think there’s this whole world within the entity’s realm. For survivors and killers who please them, the entity gives more luxuries and amenities, to the point where their life resembles some form of normalcy while not within a trial. Its mostly an illusion of course but real enough for most to believe it.
Of course the Entity erases memories selectively which encourages certain behaviour. I sometimes think about writing a story about how all this works. The Entity strikes me as someone as timeless and thus extremely patient and knows you can get more bees with honey.
For those who underperform they take things away and give them less. For those who outright defy them such as refusing to hook or refusing to attempt to survive because they are so devoid of hope? Pain. If that doesn’t work, the void. There’s a reason why none of the survivors date back any further then Bill, yet you have killers from ancient Babylon and the 1700s-1800s.
-
Yeah it’s strange how I would avoid Nurse, Hag and maybe someone I faced too much on survivor. Yet on killer I wouldn’t block swf. I think it honestly comes down I just really don’t enjoy those two not because of game balance. Blight, Spirit, other top killers, fine. Nurse and Hag though? Noooooo
-
Hex perks in general are a bad design because of the lottery nature of them. If you make them strong the effectiveness is still luck based and yeah some totem spawns are awful but some are really asinine.
The whole concept should be binned and reworked to be similar to booms so the killer has more control over it. Obviously numbers would have to be thought through but as it stands hex perks are just silly lotteries. Sure game has RNG but if you run hexes you are gambling even more.
-
Sometimes.
I hate to admit it but Nurse and Hag are just fun suckers. I wouldn’t always disable them but sometimes when I’m just done with their nonsense.
@DemonDaddy said:
No, there is no killer I want to avoid and I wouldn't want the possibility of being paired with other survivors that could bar any of that opposition.
There is however this caveat which would benefit people who don’t use the feature. I would however make it so killers can queue with up to three of their choice.

What some fancy long matrix style coat for a male? I can’t think of anything that’s too out there for males that’s current era and hasn’t been done. It doesn’t help though that a significant number of the licensed characters are male. Yoichi, Leon, Steve, Ash, Quentin, Tapp and Bill. Females have Laurie, Jill, Nancy and Cheryl only. So there’s fewer choices for males anyway.
However I do agree what most men have is very samey. Like even some variance in theme like roaring 20s, Wild West, high tech etc. There’s a lot you can do with both genders if you stretch the time period thing.

You could always just.. mute voice chat.
You could read my post because I do mention this. Muting constantly every single damn game gets old fast and when there is a way to communicate that you can disable, the ‘lovely’ people find other ways to lash out at you rather then not having the option in the first place and accepting the lack of its existence.
Way it stands now the little jerks suicide themselves on hook raging to nobody and that suits me fine. It’s not ideal but it’s better then the alternative.
Honestly I do find it odd the game doesn’t have it but I am VERY glad it doesn’t. Every game I’ve played that has some form of communication gets abused more then used. In dbds case the game is over and either I or the little raging toddler has left by then.
-
Look at the diversity in those builds lol. So sick of seeing that perk picture of the stupid little man doing that dodge or running or whatever the hell he’s doing. I get a bad feeling though it’s going to be masses of crushed mobile phones/voice recorders soon enough and I think I’m not going to stop seeing the stupid little man either. Dead hard is custom made for people who want to make killers miserable.

It's not a good reason, most games let you just turn off voice chat, and dbd already lets you permanently minimize the chat window. You might prefer it not be added for that reason, but it isn't a good reason to leave it out of the game.
Not a good reason for you. Ultimately neither of our subjective opinions matter here. Just like mine doesn’t matter in the countless games I don’t play because I got sick of the abuse.
I conceded that I’d tolerate it as an option that was by default disabled but really there’s ways of communicating on console after the game. Find good people stick with them and play with them.
-
Abuse is a good reason frankly. The lack of comms is one of the reasons I play Dbd and not other games. I’m sick to death of people pinging repeatedly in anger, yelling or typing abuse at me in chat that I’m playing the game the wrong way in their opinion, which often vary wildly and even in the same game between two people can be outright contradictory. Yes you can mute people but I’d rather not have to constantly filter nonsense if you are asking for my honest opinion.
Other games have it and don’t care about the abuse but this really is a case of ignorance is bliss. They can just suicide themselves on hook and go next like the toxic jerks they are until they find the perfect team that doesn’t drag them down (spoiler alert: this never happens). Lack of comms outside of people you want to make the effort for is bliss.
I guess if it wasn’t the default setting I’d tolerate it so if people want to hurl abuse at each other they can but honestly I’d like if more games actually did what dbd did in this regard. Still watch people fume about not having the voice chat on so they can yell abuse at you.
-
Eh because sniffing the survivors butt just isn’t fun game play. Like in what game where you are the power role do you have to ‘wait it out’? It just makes a mockery of killers to be honest. Also it’s previous version was busted as hell and every metric proved it, Dead Hard is as much a psychological issue as a balance one.
Granted the changes are better then nothing but I’d rather they change what it did altogether.
-
Sure I’d be delighted to not have to run wglf or bbq… if what was replacing the whole system was serviceable and not straight up worse. Like the prestige tax? Really?
Furthermore getting other people into the game was hard as it stood because of the grind and new players are hit the hardest by the changes by far since the gains only come in at the end and in some cases not at all if you only play a few survivors and/or killers.

Fair enough. Thanks.

Yeah it should remove the penalty be silent and on top of that anyone repairing the gen with you ALSO gets it’s benefits. Even with that it’d only be used by mentors helping newer players or newer players themselves.
The fact Feng isn’t free on PC (she is on console) makes the fact this is a training wheels perk very strange but there’s others like it too such as Visionary.
-
i think it would work under one condition: Once somebody has activated the perk it is disabled for everyone.
That is, it’s anti tunnel but doesn’t make the killer have to hook 16 times. Alternatively you could make it so you can absorb a hook state between a survivor every so often like for the people as to protect someone being tunneled. Of course this would require the killer being able to see hook states which is something that should have happened a while back.

That is not what I mean. What I mean is if a person only plays a few characters, what do they care about the grind for the rest? Just ignore them and you can literally buy the perks you want from the Shrine directly. You never have to touch a character you are not interested in.
Right. Apologies. The average amount of apathy bothers me. Anyway, they are still worse off in this case because of prestige tax which cannot be ignored unlike previously. They cannot get any more perks for their one character without paying the tax and they get sent back to level 1 where they must take a lot of junk and things they will never use. Like at level 50 they get your choice four perks and get to keep two. At low levels they are forced to take one whether they want it or not. This doesn’t even factor in the bbq and wglf loss.
Also shrine gambling is iffy unless I missed that going the way of the dodo. There’s a few perks I’ve wanted that have never come up, even during the daily masquerade rotation. I ended up buying the characters with shards instead. Now sure, latest perks like those of Cenobite, Onyro, Yoichi, Haddie and Dredge probably won’t appear for a while but still.

If you only play a few characters, then what do you care? Just play the ones you want.
I actually play most killers but know many people don’t and survivor players typically stick with one or two. So why do I care? Because I have empathy. I said this change barely effects me. However it is extremely disingenuous to sell something as reducing the grind when it does the exact opposite for most players.
I do honestly believe it’s ignorance of understanding their players and not maliciously attempting to increase the grind. This thread is trying to point it out to BHVR that if their goal was to reduce the grind, from where most players sit they actually failed.

Then those people still benefit? This change hasn't taken anything away from people.
Its taken away bbq and wglf and put 50k tax whenever they hit level 50. That is definitely taking something away. Yes I agree perks being attached to bp gain is bad but the gains only come at the very end once several characters are prestige when the grind is at its worst at the start.
These gains are less if you consider that many players only play a few characters so getting ‘free’ perks on characters they’ll never use is gaining nothing at all. On a personal level this doesn’t hurt me much at all, I took full advantage of bbq and wglf during the event but it wasn’t that long ago I had next to nothing and how annoying that early grind was and now that’s going to be worse for people who follow me.
-
Yoichi getting something darker. Don’t get me wrong there’s times I use him to stand out but I would also like to use him when I don’t want to. I selected Western during the survey thinking it meant like Western culture not Wild West but upon reflection something like that might work. I liked Jake’s hat for that, the rest not as much.
For killer I’m a sucker for more ‘funeral/masquerade/formal’ type clothing. Like what Wraith has.

Haha. Yeah I’ve seen your work. Was contemplating commissioning you. I had Jake, Philip and Joey consume loads of flan during the event and kept imaging them being sick during the masquerade. They’ve like over 100. All my other killers have at least 30, some as many as 50. I leveled a bunch of survivors too so they would have around 30 each as well.

100% would be too much, that's just basekit old Iron Will. But it would be nice to know what the noise reduction of crouching actually is.
Is it 25%? if so is it additive or multiplicative? Additive would make crouching with Iron Will silent again.
Such an effect would only be 'old' Iron Will when crouching and being still and would not work under exhaustion. Hardly an optimal strategy and a killer would know to look for a stationary target if they suspected Iron Will was in play. Though admittedly the noise is pretty minimal anyway at 75% reduction with crouching.
The only issue I ever had with 100% Iron Will was that Stridor was basically useless because of it's existence. Not sure how it'll work now but I guess we'll find out.
-

I think that's probably because you are used to tier 3 where as tier 1 and 2 are very rarely used. You'll get used to the new tier 3 I'm pretty sure.
In any case yeah, the Otz vid for testing seems to be that Iron Will is still solid but if you really want Iron will back just use bite the bullet and a med kit and/or self care if you are paranoid of franklin's. That'll shut you up ;).
I do think though that crouching still should still be 100%/no sound as though focusing on suppressing it.

This digression has been truly pointless.
Whose lies are you talking about?
Anyone's lies. In this case BHVR's, though I'm not sure whether the lies are intentional or through ignorance of how people use their product. Based on other out of touch decisions I know of/have heard of, I honestly believe it's the latter.
Though with a figure as high as 75% being thrown around (albeit people may or may not have misinterpreted it) they had to know that the expectations were high. At the very least breaking even despite the loss of BBQ and WGLF would have been acceptable. That's not happening by a long shot. Eventually sure at the end it's better but most players don't play every killer and survivor which is where the gains from the new system come in. Until then it's straight up worse, especially with the prestige tax which was NOT mentioned IRC, a lie of omission. Again I don't believe that's malicious or intentional but... it's not a good look and for what reason?
Perhaps I did digress too much. Just hit a personal chord with me and how pointless it is to compile facts and factual arguments only to basically be ignored/derailed by one meme picture which is the equivalent of TL;DR and have the conversation go nowhere and ultimately no progress is made and everyone still complains about the same stuff.
TL;DR: All I was remarking is that some people are amazed by how shallow some people were and I was saying that I wasn't.

Not really. Understanding math and anything more than a paragraph is too hard for some people. It’s basically the equivalent of “Shut up nerd!”. So insert a ‘witty’ meme picture and all is right with the world.
This ultimately stems from the insecurity of their own intelligence. Sad thing is this usually gains traction most of the time because “Well if this guy said it, it must be true and I don’t need to feel stupid because I can’t formulate my own opinions”.
In the end they deceive themselves into believing one lie after another and end up making the world worse for everyone ultimately because they don’t think for themselves and worse don’t try to improve themselves or understand other perspectives. Because that’s not cool ‘yo’.

Self Care actually is currently the fifth most used perk at the highest MMR brackets, about 25% of the highest ranked survivor players use it. I suspect a lot of the really solid survivors who use it have it so they can partially heal at will during periodic moments where they can’t do anything else useful. Crouching mid chase at a loop seeing what the killer will do? Take that time to heal for a second. Waiting a second for a blocked generator? Heal a bit. And keep in mind I think this number was before the Haemorrhage change so there’s no risk of Sloppy Butcher messing it up.
Basically the notion that only bad players use Self Care is definitely a myth. Just because there are players who misuse it doesn’t mean everybody does. Of course the nerf may change that, it’s being significantly slowed, so I bet a lot of its current users will reconsider.
The thing this overlooks is that circle of healing with SWF only needs to be run by one person. If you want the same effect with self care (albeit globally) it needs to be run 4 times. Plus solo survivors are more likely to run self care over circle and Claudette is a free character whereas Mikaela must be bought. For all these reasons this is why Self Cares usage is inflated and why Circle's are deflated. We also don't know how MMR works and how it gauges what is 'good' play and what isn't. BHVR have a reputation for being very selective about how stats are gathered so they can paint the narrative they want. Whether that's intentional or not I don't know but I know for a fact that their stats can be misleading.
Personally I agree that the hate and bad reputation Self Care has is overdone, but the perk is without a doubt overnerfed. Simply removing the item efficiency part would have sufficed. I also agree that a lot of it's current users will reconsider and the people who are 'bad' will continue to use it.

It's still gonna be awfully grindy for new players. For someone like me with almost everyone p3 50? Fine. New players? Still awful
This. It's honestly a case of 'rich get richer, poor get poorer' and of course this forums usual amount of apathy towards problems that don't effect them. In theory the good parts nobody else have a problem but they've added a fair amount of bad needlessly.
Like prestige tax? Taking away BBQ and WGLF? Sure I agree with perks not being attached to BP but they could have at least increased BP gain especially for newer players. What do they gain? Free perks for survivors they may never use. For killers sure it's a little better but the gains only come at the end of the grind not the beginning where it's needed.
On a personal level the changes effect me very little but it just doesn't seem right. Especially when it's being constantly sold as being a good thing for everyone when it obviously isn't.

I just don't get why everyone needs to know this one specific content creator uploaded. I can pinky promise you that my reaction would be identical to anyone uploading someone else, like it was when people would do nothing but spam Tru3 videos about 2 years ago. But if I cared that much about knowing who uploaded when, where, and why, I'd just subscribe to them on YouTube and discuss in the comments.
It wouldn't even be as bad if they had any discussion within the body of the post. But it's literally just the video then "I find this interesting" like where's the meat, where's the sustenance, where's the points of discussion, I need more than a single sentence and a video.
I suppose but to many people Otz basically puts their sentiments into a much more articulate version. Also in this case by the topic title you know where the argument is going. He's not flawless but he presents better then 95% of people here do. It's not just because Otz is a content creator, it's because he's proven to have opinions that are less biased (everyone has some bias) and is on average a wholesome individual who is good for the games health whether they are a streamer or not. There's a lot of people out there like him but don't have his renown.

I don't agree with the notion that OTR is better than DS. PTB OTR does not really help prevent tunneling, its more of an offensive perk than anything. With current DS you can make a distance of 16 meters while also obstructing the killers vision, with PTB OTR you make roughly 11 meters of distance and that is not counting how perks like STBFL (which will very likely become a meta staple with this patch) can shorten the amount of time it takes to shorten the gap. I find it really dumb, I think current DS was pretty okay and way more effective at countering tunneling that the aberration that is PTB OTR, my theory is that the devs wanted to make a less frustrating alternative to DS but just ended up creating a massive endurance meta.
I suppose that's true. The intention I guess was to make OTR an anti tunnel perk but you are right, it's going to be used offensively but then DS is kinda used this way too but then you can just ignore the slugged survivor if you expect it. OTR doesn't have that as an option. I stated my 'disliking' of aspects of DS but you are right it's not really the same thing is it?
-
Yeah as much as I like Otz I think this test isn't exactly fair. Like it's in a dead zone for one. Two they don't compare to the 5 second DS where honestly the better killers just crush them anyway.
I mean the problem I have with current DS is two fold.
1. You can still use it after someone else is hooked
It's an anti tunnel perk not a pro trolling perk
2. End game = free escape
Which is addressed
The really stupid thing though is they made OTR basically DS but better. It's like two different groups did the nerfs and buffs because what they say and do is different. Most infamously 'We don't like three health states so let's give them four or five'.

I hate to sneak in again and ruin all your hard work (huge kudos for going through the effort of putting together the spreadsheet!), but there's another big oversight here: Prestiging resets you to level 1, meaning you get the super tiny levels again. The overall bloodpoints required ends up being ~75% lower, not the number of levels. You spend way more BP per level on the old system by repeating the huge level 50 bloodwebs.
I think people would rather you ruin the hard work for your input, there’s a lot of concerns here. Still could you do me a big favour and answer these things?
- Newer players and the grind. Sure unlocking things in the long run is less but without bbq and wglf bonuses and being forced to pay to prestige, the short term grind is definitely worse. I do however agree that blood point growth should not be attached to perks. I mean from my perspective I don’t care to have every perk on every survivor because I won’t play most of them. Killers sure but…
- Bigger blood webs have more choices and cut out a lot of junk. I can pick and prioritise what I want whether it be perks, items or add ons rather then accept loads of things I will never use which is what I’m forced to do at low levels.
- 50k to prestige AND being forced? Why? This was a rather unpleasant surprise and one I don’t think anybody expected.
Ultimately from where most people sit the 75% number is misleading at best and an outright lie at worst. The 75% number was used to say the amount of hours you’d need to unlock things initially which even at the time I thought was misleading because most people don’t care to unlock every perk on every survivor and maybe not every killer, just the ones they use.
Regardless, a lot of people seem to be concerned and there’s a simple way to at least temporarily appease: Don’t force prestige.
-
I care about the AI a lot. I know we are in the minority though with the general mindset 'How does this help me?' 'Why don't the devs use this time somewhere that helps me'. Ugh. Apathy, I hate it.
I think loadouts would be nice. Cosmetics are unlikely but I'd say perks would be a must because of how central they are to the game.. Admittedly if they can't switch perks in and out at a whim they should have a perk loadout set built for a variety of roles and purposes. Personally with AI I kinda like it when they have personality types such as...
The Hero: Guy runs a bunch of perks for saving others from hooks, picking survivors from the ground, taking protection hits
The Focuser: Does generators. Perks such as prove thyself, deja vu. Will unhook if they feel they can but is cautious about it.
The Runner/Chaser: Uses exhaustion perks and other things to run the killer for as long as possible. They love being chased and unless on death hook will try to divert the killer.
The support: More passive version of the hero. Runs healing perks and tries to unhook and heal people but will do generators if nothing else is available or safe to do so.
Those would be the default four but you could add others that are less positive such as the 'sneak' or the 'ninja' who immensely dislike being in chase. We all know those players who crawl around in the grass. All of them will do generators, and 'largely' act the same but their perks support certain playstyles.

How do you people deal with actual conflict in real life situations, again?
Using video games to escape. See the problem?
Also murder is part of the game and just accepted. They personally aren't getting murdered. I know there's no helping you and you won't understand my point of view but can you at least accept there are people different from yourself with different upbringings and 'origin' stories for lack of better word and different things which cause them distress. You are overthinking it too much. Children like that are simply a sign of the current times.
You can find them and more like them raging over a burnt breakfast, a bad grade, a TV commercial, a girl saying no and pretty much anything. The effect of gaming induced frustration on their emotional imbalance is not that great and definitely not the cause.
If anything its better that they blow out some steam over the internet, rather than doing it IRL. Sadly they will likely grow up to be broken adultoids that mess up everything around them, but that hardly new.
Thumbs up to you for trying to make the game fun for everyone else. I try to do the same from the killer side, though I gotta tell you, it can be annoying to have a mule headed survivor that runs to the basement during EGC after you carry them to the exit gate xD. You shouldn't force the killer to kill you :p
Not the current times. Entitled children and adults for that matter is older then dirt. It's just more common to see it because of the Internet.
Having said that DBD's design certainly could take more steps to being less toxic. The fact that they wanted teabagging to look fluid speaks volumes as to what they think of toxicity. Then they are surprised at the amount of toxicity. Not everyone views such things as harmless 'smack talk'.
There's ways of integrating 'harmless' smack talk into the games design such as rewarding survivors for taunting, an action which could occasionally be used to earn bloodpoints in exchange for pointing them out to the killer when they are within a certain visible range and the killer gets points if they down them. Sure some might still get upset and you can't (and shouldn't) protect everyone but throwing up your hands and saying 'it's too hard' or 'it's harmless smack talk' just encourages negative behavior to continue.

Thats true. Most people are selfish and don´t think of the others.
The apathy of many people in the community and hell the world makes me very sad at times. 'It doesn't effect me so why should I care' is going to cause so many problems.

The thing you're ignoring is that DBD is an old ass game and the vast vast majority of players have been playing for a while. There aren't very many brand new players in 2022. So yeah, starting from zero might only be an 18% reduction, but for the overwhelming majority of players who've already put in some work on the grid, it's a massive reduction and almost makes unlocking everything an attainable goal.
I do agree though that the 50k prestige fee is a little silly.
Yeah but those are the very people you want to reduce the grind for. Those that are already invested are more likely to put up with the status quo. Ideally you should reduce it for both, but yeah especially now with the '50k' before you can do anything AND losing huge blood webs and higher item rarity. Lolololololol.
They've increased the grind. Losing BBQ and WGLF is a 100% or lets say 50% loss of bloodpoints on average for only an 18% less grind which only matters at the very end. I think most rational people agree that sure perks shouldn't be attached to bloodpoint gain but there's no way in hell this magic 75% number is anything other then fairy tales and looking through rose coloured glasses that distort the image to whatever you want.
Who wants to bet that 75% will become the new meme to make fun of things they do. 'Oh but don't worry guys it's 75% less pain in magical Christmas land'.

Don't do tome challenges? Besides if your in it for the chases what do you care about surviving. Seems kind of pointless to throw peoples games if your getting what you wanted.
Admittedly some of the tome challenges basically do read: Throw the game. It's also true that stopping hook suicides is treating the symptom rather then the disease but the disease is a much harder beast to tame and is probably impossible in some cases.
It's not surprising some people get confused with 'They are being useless' with 'they are doing tome challenges' but if that's true why are they playing a TEAM based game? Team doesn't mean getting people on your level all the time. Granted again matchmaking could be better but that's part of the disease that's very hard if not impossible to treat.

RPD is an amazing map..
i dont get the hate for it :(
You don't need to get the hate for it, you only need to accept that it exists.
Answering the question though it's because both sides get lost easily and it's not intuitive to navigate it. Most people understand quickly there's two sides to the building and the main hall connects both but all too often will go in a straight line to get from one point to the other like you do in basically every other map in this game and run into a wall. They'll follow the wall around to try and find a way around and that way is blocked too, then the killer is there! Welp guess you got sidetracked. You either get hooked or escape chase and it starts all over again.
As a killer you see a generator you want to get to. Okay, you walk there. Wall. Go round. Another wall. By the time you get there it's popped.
I'm okay with the map now, but it's bad reputation is well earned. It's design is unlike anything else in the game.

Personally I'd remove the self escape mechanic altogether outside of deliverance. I don't know why it's even there. Slippery meat could simply increase the time it takes for the hook to actually kill you instead and decrease the time it takes to unhook you.

I, for one, really like the idea. I always felt bad for Rin especially. Seeing her as a Survivor would be very cool--and very weird when she's up against Spirit.
Spirit is so consumed with hate she sees her other self as cowardly. Extra terrifying for survivor Rin though. Having a dark version of yourself, someone who knows your darkest thoughts and desires and you know you could have become them coming after you? Yeah…
If I find someone to commission this idea, I’ll start with Rin first. I might even make a new post in creations detailing my perk ideas for her if she were a survivor like I did for Joey.

Yeah they probably looked at their numbers and saw Thana was underused and thought it was underpowered not understanding that only two killers use it and also not understanding that with how strong circle of healing is, that in turn hurts Thana,
I mean they did a lot of things right with the changes but it only takes a few missteps to screw it up and they have made more than a few shortsighted changes on both sides.

The Entity does come off as abusive towards Wraith. I imagine it using figures from his past to torment him. The same goes for Spirit.
Joey and Susie feared Frank and adults in their lifetime. The Entity used Frank's rage and the Legion's fear of authority to keep them in line.
The Entity would probably destroy his prized killers rather than let them become survivors. I picture former killer having overpowered perks which would expose the Entity and the other killers.
This is an alternative universe. The original versions of these characters would still exist, therefore they aren’t former killers turned survivors, they were never killers in the first place because they made a different choice in their life. Therefore it is possible to have a Spirit and Rin in the same trial despite being the same person. Similar to how you can have multiple copies of one survivor.
Like we know for a fact due to licensed characters that there are multiple universes the entity draws from. They simply can’t all co-exist.
-
Okay yeah, I was under the impression it was once per trial not every time you are unhooked. As one of the comments said on the video this doesn't discourage tunneling or camping, it encourages it.
The only way you are ever going to put a stop to it or at least make it more difficult is change how hook states/hooks work.

I agree ashes perks are the worst but nobody played Zarina cause her perks weren’t that great and situational but the new OTR is literally a S tier perk she is the new best survivor
I actually liked her perks and bought her for them. At least for the people and red herring. They let you do things that aren't normally on the table. Sure they weren't 'that' good but they allowed a unique playstyle. Still not 100% about OTR, need to look into the 'exacts' of how it works but it does look very strong.
