I just wish I could play the game and not have to worry that the opponent insists on farming or that half my team wants to farm and the killer doesn't. These events always turn into an extended break because I just want to play a normal game.
I've been having 99% "normal" games, so I'm happy when I have something else, either chill survivors or chill killers, cause i don't see it often.

They generally don't do sales with iri shards unfortunately, very rare that they do, and I don't think they ever have or ever will with characters. Generally only with auric cells can you get a discount
Edit: nvm they do currently have a iri sale with characters, i was unaware xD

Doesn't matter, statistics is there.
What.... it literally does matter, it explains why she has a low kill rate when she is an extremely strong killer. You can't just disregard an explanation and just run with statistics. You make no sense.

Uh, if she has lowest kill rate we definitely needs a buff.
She doesn't have a low kill rate because she's bad. She only had a low kill rate because people at low mmr, or people who don't know how to play her. At high mmr she is a beast and gets the highest kill rate, she only has a low rate overall because she's hard to pick up at first but once you know how to play her, kills come easily to her.
-
It's been very sweaty, it was like this last year but I feel like it wasn't as bad because mmr didn't exist. But now just camping and tunneling and fast gens :C Some games are good, but this event always brings out the worst in people it seems.

Oh man, the classic "This has no counterplay" argument. If it's in the game, it means that it's OK as it is for now. Probably the thing she needs is an add-on pass but that's all. I don't think we'll see a rework of her any time soon considering that she has the lowest kill rate in the game.
We know if its in the game doesn't make it "OK" they've made plenty mistakes before an buffed and nerfed killers accordingly, this is just another oops.
-
@Bot_Salvo88 said:
If someone is good with a killer, he deserves to be rewarded. As survivor, it's just a matter of holding W and try to fake your directions while she's about to blink so you waste a lot of her time while your team is working on gens. Ignore loops with her because she can blink right on top of you and just run to waste as much of her time as possible.
She has no counter. And holding W is not a counter.

If that picture with you DCing is the reason you made this thread, I sincerely hope nurse will not get a nerf because she will not deserve such.
She does deserve a nerf tho lol. I dc'd cause there was no point I earned basically nothing.

If you want to convince us that the nurse is too strong, record a video of you playing against her.
Then we can see if, before you say she's too good, you are competent when you play against her.
I think its pretty well known shes extremely strong. If you don't know that you haven't been playing survivor very long.
-
Well when a perk is nerfed and is no longer the top one, people are gonna move to the next best thing. You can't just keep nerfing the next best perk because survivors will now be using that instead lol. Sprint burst is fine the way it is, dead hard did indeed need a change, and we don't even know if it'll no longer be the best exhaustion, but sb is balanced.
-
Nurse is definitely not fine. Every time I play against a decent nurse, the match turns out like this, and everyone is dead at 5 gens. She needs a nerf and everyone knows it.
-
I actually saw one today lol. But most of her mains dropped off the face of the earth because she was actually counter-able instead of just being able to stand still as a 'mind game' she's still a great killer if you know how to play her, but whenever a killer gets any type of nerf, everyone ditches them for no good reason.
-
Woulda liked to see prove thyself get reworked. Really the only one I can think of. They really got most strong and weak perks from both sides.
-
What. I score more than the survivors do 90% of my games. Killer tend to earn much more than survivors do. And survivors also have to endure camping and tunneling which is the most unfun playstyle in a game. There are unfun things on both sides

I’m sticking with my masked characters, but over these past 2 days, the only other mask I’ve seen in-game was on the killer.
Is there some bug the prevents you from seeing them on other survivors, or is nobody interested in showing off?
Time to equip Ace’s golden card wings a fly like the wind!
I'm no really a fan of most default heads... I would probably only use Artist, dredge, Elodie and Jane masks. All the masks are cool but since you can only use with default, I'm not likely to use em as cool as some of them are.

Another solution: don't be a d*ck to the killer. I have actually never been slugged for playing normal, but seen it a few times done when spectating. Most of the times they were really good, but also BMing the killer at every opportunity. Not saying that there aren't any really mean spirited killers out there, but I would recon that most normal games a killer wouldn't waste their own time just to ruin some random strangers gaming experience? At least not enough that it would be a real problem.
I have been slugged to death when I didn't even do anything. Some people are just rude like that, people be people. 3/4 people were slugged to death just the other day and we didn't do anything wrong, just did gens and tried our best to survivor.

We've got dredge moving at normal speed and can teleport why not
She can literally teleport through walls and the floor, and she has addons that even add to the range she can teleport. She has plenty of mobility with her power, hence she's a slow walker.

Same reason why survivors tbag and click with the flashlight. Just for disrespect/childness.
However, I would like to see the game before judging this Nurse. If she was tbagged and disrespected then its totally understandable that she did that.
No one did as far as I know. I certainly didn't so at least I shouldn't have been slugged. But even if people did I think making everyone wait 4 minutes until they die is... kinda extreme? Like i don't think clicking or tea-bagging equates to slugging people to death, but maybe that's just me. Like nodding and hitting on hook is the killer equivalent to teabaging and clicking.
-
This is the 2nd most used perk. I don't think a buff is necessary, as it's clearly good enough to be used so much.

@Sybarite said:
Guess a couple of things from a killer side.
in most maps, it is really unlikely you had enough hooks to reach everyone. You also said "nobody had ds active" but how would the killer know that unless he ate one or two beforehand and then guessed that you were all running it. Thus he went for the 100% win sweaty win at all cost.
To me, this is very boring and often and I rather eat a DS unless it's right at the gate or the gate has been opened then I will wait for the gate timer.
Well no one had ds active as in, no one was recently hooked, so they knew they could pick people up. And we were all in different places, there was plenty of hooks and close enough to hook. This killer just did it out of pure spite.
-
Don't judge her. Maybe she likes the pain 😅
-
I think incorporating his power would be cool. At the moment him and wraith have the exact same mori, they just pull them and start hitting them with their weapon, pretty boring compared to all the cool recent ones. I'd also like to see some new ones for wraith, huntress, doctor and clown. Basically all the old killers need an update with moris.

The skill check is designed to be this size, it's not guaranteed that you will hit it every time (even the best players can occasionally miss a skill check) - with the reward being so big (getting out of the killers grasp), the skill check needs to be a bit smaller than a regular skill check for sure.
There are no plans to adjust the size of this.
I feel like the skill check was more designed for old decisive strike, since it was pretty strong, it helped at least giving the killer a possible chance of not having to deal with it. But now since its supposed to be an anti tunnel perk shouldn't it be automatic or guaranteed? I mean idrc since I on a very very very rare occasion miss it but idk just seems unnecessary with current ds

@Darkest_Night said:
More often than not, if all survivors are running boil over and you've run to a high spot with no hook nearby, killers will slug you out. But the also falls on your team. If they do not pick you up before your timer expires....they failed you
Well everyone was slugged... 1 person died before everyone else was slugged so no ones picking anyone up. And no one was running boil over. So there was no reason for them not to hook us.

Once you have all Survivors slugged, there is 0 reason to not hook them. Except if you want to be annoying.

Don't know about 'Best' but:
Lifeguard Whistle + Leprose Lichen (can be substituted for Scourge: Floods of Rage)
Make Your Choice, Save the Best for Last, BBQ, Pain Resonance. Tunnel back to the hook after each scream and maintain your hook pressure throughout the entire game. (ideally use Tier 1 MYC for the shorter cooldown, you won't need the long duration)
If you're feeling adventurous, Swap MYC for Devour Hope and defend your totem with your perma-wall-hacked portals.
Oo sounds pretty solid. I'll have to give it a go!

Main problem is what awards points for Survivors, of the 4 categories 2 are very dependant on your team and the Killer and 1 is almost impossible to max.
- Survival is the biggest offender so Ill start here, first of all most events that give Survival are either perk related (Self-Care, CoH), related to a few Killer powers (breaking free from Slinger chain, recovering from Trickster laceration and a few others) or escaping, even if you escape a trial it only awards 5k points so if you get a Killer whose power doesnt give Survival, you didnt bring Self-Care/CoH and you didnt escape you are going to miss almost all of the 8k points, I got 8k in Survival only twice in all my hours and it was loooooooooooong ago when Self-Care and healing speeds were busted.
- Then Altruism, the only way of getting these on a decent scale is rescuing from hook and healing but if the other people beat you to it you will miss a lot of them too, also a safe rescue awards 1500 points and there is only 6 possible rescue events, if you miss a few you are locked out of maxing unless the Killer is spreading damage like a madman.
- Bold is related to being able to loop the Killer and getting pallet stuns, if a Killer respects pallets, ignores them (Nurse/Huntress) or is one of those where you have to predrop you are screwed too, because the big points come from the stuns, the only thing left are cleansing Totems or Hexes (1000 and 1500).
- And then Objective, which is the easy category and is rarely not maxed out unless you get tunneled, facecamped or you actively go loop the Killer.
The system is not very well tought because it actively makes Survivors fight among themselves if they actually want to max the categories, which means throwing the game most cases, the only exception to this is Objective which can be maxed while progressing the game and everyone can max the category without much hassle if they really want to get 8k.
Oh very true. They should definitely look into setting up that earning system a bit better.
-
I honestly think dbd was the first time I ever heard of silent hill. I haven't played any of them still. But maybe should, idk, I know nothing about it and the games are pretty old by now so idk if I'll ever give em a shot. I'm just hoping for a remake and I'd definetely try it out.

Nurse is a disease for this game not just kills the will to live of the survivors also it has negativave effects for the killers because a lot of week perks like dragons grip could be buffed if nurse wasnt a thing, please behaviour delete this killer, the sooner the better.
Yeah she's pretty insane to go against. Hard to pick up, but once you do, kills come easy to her and is a miserable time for survivors. There are so many simple things they could tweak that would balance her out so much more. Everytime I see a nurse in my game I'm like welp, this is gonna suck, and then it does and everyone gives up.

Both Survivors and Killer should get more BP, I don't know why BHVR wants players to grind so much for something so important such as perks. It's a waste of time for both killers and survivors.
True that.

@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
I think it was a deliberate choice to encourage players to pick the less-favoured and more stressful killer role. I think once demand-based bloodpoint bonuses are implemented it would be quite reasonable to give survivors more.
Ah i see, that makes sense. Hopefully they do implement that after the bonuses.
-
MMmm. I think its best to leave it the way it is. And some killers rely on stealth and if you immediately know who the killer is and know to really pay attention to your surroundings then that leaves them with a major disadvantage. As well as lobby dodging, like imagine just trying to play trickster or something, but people just dodge and dodge and the killer can never get into a lobby.
Like if I saw trickster or nurse I would dodge too. So it's best just not to show the killer so people aren't constantly leaving, leaving the killer unable to play. Sometimes you just gotta play against a killer you don't like. Though nurse just needs a nerf, but that's a discussion for another time.

NoED is one of the most complained about perks, an exclusively end game perk that can be taken out of the game before it ever activates as well as post-activation.
Well I said a perk thats not activated at endgame, not a perk thats only activated at endgame.
-
I'm not opposed to the idea. But I don't really care if they exist or not personally. I rarely use them myself, and I generally don't care if I'm brought to a specific map, unless it's rpd, I'll dc before the game starts. And the game, depending on what killer I'm playing. 😅
-
No other perk deactivates at end game. Why should survivors have one of their few anti-tunnel perks with this feature? I don't see any survivors complaining a perk should deactivate at endgame, but you see killers complaining bt and ds should deactivate. When I go against ds, its fine. When I use ds its fine. It's at its fairest state rn, it does not need another nerf.

Omg you're so right there are like no anti-gen perks. Like, if only there were perks that slowed gens, regressed them, or blocked them completely I mean omg I wish those existed-
Call of Brine, Corrupt Intervention, Dead Man's Switch, Deadlock, Dying Light, Eruption, Grim Embrace, Pentimento, Ruin, Jolt, Merciless Storm, Oppression, Pop Goes the Weasel, Gift of Pain, Pain Resonance, Thanatophobia, & Thrilling Tremors: "Are we a joke to you?"
Borrowed Time, Breakdown, Decisive Strike, Guardian, Kinship, & Off the Record are the only survivor perks that you could classify as anti-tunnel. And I'm being so EXTREMELY generous with a few of those. One of which you'll only get ONE use out of per game. And two that requires someone else to be running them...
Ik we've got this whole "Omg survivor players bad grr" thing going on. But like let's be real here.
Exactly exactly
