Killers with high ping would be dodged every game and wouldn't be able to play at all.
Oh no!
Anyway

Disagree entirely.
I liked the challenge of not knowing where survivors were or what they were doing, its called playing solo. Being a solo is often challenging, but that was a pull for me. If I wanted tonnes of in game info to make the game easier, id have seeked to join a swf team.
Might aswell have in match commentary now talking me through the game. The spontinuity has completely gone.
You have to realize that you are in the LARGE minority when it comes to that, and that the larger portion have been wanting changes like these for years
Its like saying killers like Trapper, Pig, Freddy or even Skull Merchant are just fine where theyre at because theres a very small percentage of the playerbase who view them as perfect
-
@SMitchell8 said:
I got mostly criticised for calling it training wheels mode. The info is far too much imo and spoils the spontinuity of the game. If they wanted to buff solos, just make kindred basekit.
" I hope the last gen pops whilst im on this hook "
= Now we can see when it will finish 🙄
" I wonder if the exit gates are open "
= ECG has started and there's another exit gate icon, both are done, safe as houses.
"Ahh, I ll go stand next to the exit gate switch because the last gen is 85% done ..... easy this.
Don't want my hand held in survivor games, but that's exactly what these icons do. Brilliant for new players, kinda op for experienced ones.
Which is all things SWF already had access too
All it did was bridge the gap between Solo and SWF by giving them information they should of had to begin with.

Yeah, I’m starting to thing that survivors just don’t want Gen regression in general
No #########? Holding M1 on a gen for a minute and a half is already boring enough. Anything that increases that time just makes it more boring.
Thats one thing I miss about old DbD, the lack of gen regression perks made people run more chase oriented perks since chases were harder to deal with. There were more pallets which also meant that the majority of games you were able to at least get 1 good chase in as a Survivor. Gens wouldnt necessarily pop that fast either considering the average skill level just wasnt that high (still isn't) and there werent many perks that sped up gen progress either.
A chase meta is probably the healthiest direction this game could go, considering its basically the only time both sides have an interaction with each other

So one should be left alone, while the other needs to go. Double standards.
Where in that reply do they imply that either should stay?
-
They could already do this with lockers
and just like any loud noise notif (except for gens) they have a 48m range
-
@Pulsar said:
There is no way all the gens were done in 2:58.
Even if you did NOTHING, it would be almost impossible to do that.
When you only have 2 chases in 2:58, it becomes much more likely

I dont love him, but I definitely appreciate him more than most people

I sure hope they do, because I know I am

I mean people like to act as if their favorite toy was just crushed the moment they see a perk that seems remotely viable get added to the opposite side.
That being said, SB is absolutely next. No idea why or even how its being slept on this hard

Dont need a plaque, just give me a small bag of Lays chips, a Slim Jim, and a Jones Root Beer and Ill be happy

Iron Grasp increases the time to wiggle by just under 2 seconds
Can it make a difference? Yes. But the large majority of the time its negligible
-
probably lag, but cant really say much without seeing what youre talking about
-
As others have said, its a neat little trick Legion can do, not a hack
Additionally there is actually another killer where thats the case, but its MUCH harder to pull off, that killer being Blight. Blinding him mid rush will immediately cancel it but not stun him.

cool story bro

Im going to expect a set of Survivors that aren't in the game with maybe a few "cameos" of existing Survivors, or maybe hints of them. Same goes for killers but instead the movie will have the main antagonist be them (My bet is on Wraith or Huntress) with little parts of the movie that showcase the others. This can be through our protagonist maybe recalling previous trials to be able to try to overcome their next challenge.
I still don't know how I feel about it being a thing, and part of me is worried but another is excited.

I disagree it’s in the moment. Im at work all day today, not in the moment, and I still think the same thing no matter what day you ask me.
Even with the instances you’re mentioning I will get way, way more downs with SB since I can play around that way easier than a DH. DH is based on their skill, SB my skill comes into play.
If you say so boss 👍️

Just like how after DH will be SB?
This game has been played before

its not the price of the skins, its not the price of the battle pass or how much cells you can earn in it. It's that putting battle pass skins on the store invalidates any effort put in to earn them. There is no incentive to get the battle pass (for skins I dont even use btw) if I know that the rewards will just at some point go onto the shop.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3359359#Comment_3359359
you're dumb. exclusives are the reason to buy the battle pass in the first place
Brother these aren't the only 2 Rift skins that were added into the shop. There are probably around 20 or maybe even 30 of them that have reached the shop at this point.
They also stated from the very beginning (in 2019 when they introduced the Rift) that Rift outfits will only remain exclusive for a period of 6 months, afterwards they can appear in the shop. The only exception to this rule seems to be singular piece cosmetics, charms, and the newly introduced Deep Rift cosmetics.

@Blueberry said:
I disagree with him. The perk is fun but if it was not strong, it would drop to near none existence. People absolutely would not run DH if it was only for fun.
People run DH because of how strong it is.
People also would not complain about sprint bursts ect, that’s just not a thing. The other exhaustion perks you play around, DH you actually feel cheated out of a down, that doesn’t happen with the others.
DH's frustration is in the moment
Sprint Burst's frustration will be more of an overtime thing, since it creates safe spots in dead zones. Instead of continuing a chase, SB will start a chase that had no business taking place, or completely prevent it depending on the area theyre able to reach

I run Lightborn constantly. Quite aware how to “play around them” without it. Here’s a shocker. Coordinated SWFs with thousands of hours in the game have a lot of experience blinding, more than most Killers have dodging them.
I have seen SpookyLoopz, Otz, and D3ad get blinded multiple times in a game. If those guys get blinded, you can imagine what it is like for the average Killer.
I mean I'd hope they'd get blinded at least a few times, if not then they'd be even more useless than they actually are
They are the weakest item a Survivor can bring considering their use is inconsistent, especially if the killer knows about Lookatawalljustu or Lookawaykwondo

Could of sworn its just an uncommon body thats in the shop

Its like the other 3 clips.
At 0.25x speed you can see the same process.
Killer starts swing.
Survivor DHs moment before swing connects.
In the different clips the only thing that differs is distance from killer to survivor. This is why the timings are different. None of the clips I saw played at 0.25x speed involved a preemptive dead hard. They all occurred after the swing.
But you literally just said that the script just looks for a swing. In the last clip we see the killer going for a swing and whiffing it, which would of triggered the script.
What this looks like to me is well timed DH's since OP didn't exactly wait as much as he thought. Most of the time the Meg just ran into him, waited, and then ate the DH right after. Could be wrong but I know for absolute certainty thats the case for at least 2 of them

@Basement_Bubba420 said:

none of the clips showed the dh starting before the animation started.
the dh starts the moment you press it. its the killer can swing, dh starts immediately after, be hit instantly, and have no DH animation.
that's not what happened here tho. the killer started the swing, right before the swing the animation starts. this is because the killer had to lunge for the hit so the animation had time to play.
So if you're aware of this
Explain the last clip
-
@Basement_Bubba420 said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3358024#Comment_3358024
they didn't start the dh before the swing. the dh after the swing started and before it connected. you can slow youtube clips down to 0.25x.
It did tho, considering DH doesn't start immediately. Also they were well into the animation when the hit connected.
-
@BenOfMilam said:
if you think someone has auto dead hard, miss your swing purpose when you obviously won't hit. They will dead hard 100% of the time, because the script forces them to dead hard when you M1 while near them.
A legit player will realize you aren't close enough to land a hit with a non-lunge, and will not dead hard (but a jumpy player might panic dead hard anyway).
this happened in a clip they posted that was then deleted
they weren't cheating
-
Can already tell its not a script from the first clip considering you can see them starting the DH before you even swung
And watching the last clip, she would of used DH from the whiff
No one is crazy, just you trying to justify a loss. Just take it and move on to the next. No biggie

One of my main friend groups online is because of DbD and a few of them were actually able to meet each other in person. I wasnt able to do it because of financial reasons, how ever things are going A LOT better and meeting in person isnt out of the question nowadays.
Ive also met plenty of other cool people while playing that I still talk to a bit on discord, and we some times play a few games
Part of me wants to get a tattoo of the DbD logo simply because of this. This game has made such a big impact on my life that I honestly dont know where Id be without it

You know all sorts of hacks exist in this game right? You get low lifes buying them. I wasn't standing still looking in the same direction so I don't really think possible without at least autoaim.
I know part of a blind lingers for a while but honestly no way you can hit a moving target that well.
The hacks for the most part are actually pretty limited from what I can tell, and majority of the time are very easy to spot when you have experience.
also it aint that hard to hit a blind even when the killers moving
-
Killer is the easiest its been, that's a fact. How ever that doesn't mean that killer is easy. It will always be the more demanding role since you have to manage 4 other people who are supposed to be of equal skill.
As for the QoL Survivor buffs, they are just that. Any time I've been in a SWF, the icons might as well not even be there as its information I already had prior. What this did was tighten the gap between Solo Q and SWF. Now that its done, the devs can balance the game more accordingly which is obviously something they plan on doing since we're supposedly getting 4 meta shake ups a year now. Probably not as big as 6.1.0, but it should still be significant.
-
No need to apologize. Was I in that game? No. But as some one who tries to play as fair as possible I do some times end up doing things that might be unfun for the other side. I remember I'd go out of my way to do that which led me to lose a bunch of games. So now I target some one to teach them that just because they were picked up/unhooked, they're not invulnerable. Trickster is damn handy at teaching them that too.
-
I like it, but I can understand that itll take some time to get used to

People used to say Billy but that didn't stop BHVR.
No one really said that at the time, if anything he was viewed a lot like current day Blight. A basekit that was fine but with overtuned add ons that were (for the most part) very accessible. He also synergized very well with basically any meta you threw at him, which added to some peoples frustration.
-
Lot of people fail to realize that yes, camping can be a viable strategy. But in 99.99% of cases it ain't fun
Which is what this whole post is about. Literally says fun 6 times if you count the title

Hag has always been one of the least played killers, back when I started playing in 2017 I reached I believe the 100 hour mark before I even ran into my first Hag or even Swamp. I remember looking at the wiki (which was god awful back then) and saw that this killer I've never seen before, and deadass thought it was fake. My first time playing on the swamp and hearing the crows go off from the boat, well I thought that was her power lol.
As for why she isn't seen as much nowadays, more killers who are much more interesting to a wider audience and it doesn't help that the Survivor meta has evolved in a way that kind of screws her over. She's far from a bad killer but she's just not that interesting to many

Only see the ones in the open/TL walls. Most of the shreds are at pallet/corners which is where it is bs for killers like Demo, Billy, and Huntress.
Cant even recall the last time Ive chainsawed a DH ngl, so not sure what youre on about there
