I think one thing springtrap needs to get as compensation is the ability to see which security door survivor using cameras is interacting with.
It's so crazy how little can he really interact with people using cameras and while they absolutely do need buffs, the way he needs to be compensated is that ability to be a genuine threat to the person using cameras.
It shouldn't be a grab threat, but simply the ability to quickly approach and engage with the person using cameras by chasing him. Knowing which door to go should be that. Of course, survivors would need a better warning he is coming to their door if he teleports.
One thing to point out tho is: using the cameras is alredy considered almost useless, and going through the doors scares most players from traveling through them. Now if u put this in, using the cameras will simply get the killer to come after you like pinhead with the box, yet its nowhere near as necessary as the box so noone would even want to touch the cameras anymore.

on that one a lot, especially around PTB's where changes are suggested - my team and myself have some long conversations with Design to give them the feedback and look at what changes are needed.
We also monitor what players are saying about specific perks, killers etc and give that feedback and the suggestions that are made around those things.

Is it a bug though? I’m positive I saw Mandy mention in another thread that they did reduce the rate.
She said there are less this year but the problem was at lvl 50 bloodweb not giving cakes which they addressed. While ignoring all mention of less cakes in the entire bloodweb and not caring that 1 cake per lvl 50 bloodweb is almost as bad as no cakes lol but im just pointing out there are kinks in the new bulk spending system they havent ironed out and im wondering if that might be effecting the regular cake rates with the spaghetti code they have
-
I partly think its some bug they have since they now have 2 forms of bloodwebs with new event items. As the bulk spending gives more cakes than manual spending. But their silence on it makes me think they either don't care or don't want to aknowledge it. As you think thatd be a priority to get people more cakes before the limmited time event once in a year ends.
-
I play both equally, but i find survivor more casual and simple to join even when 95% of the killer players tunnel you out / grief you on hooks / camp you to death most of the games etc. Because on killer you have to play against 4 of those types of people in one round.
Not saying im afraid of playing killer, its just ur either against people you feel sorry for, or people that make you want to turn the game off, no in between.
So my friend that really likes trickster, maybe plays him one day in a month (from me pushing them to do it for the limmited time challenges etc)

I feel like tvs are only reason i have currently 81 % kill rate on her as I never truly outplayed many chases with the momentarily invisibility, even when running newspaper and watch.
I barely use the tvs at all other then to occasionally get across the map / up a floor lol. I got pretty decent woth the on off stealth
-
It would be nice if they could make it the game only gives a penalty to someone who actively went to the pause menu and manually clicked disconnect from the round, as all other cases are either internet provider / server / or weather causes. And now that the penalty is much greater, youd think itd be more sensitive to figuring out if it was you pressing the button or not.

It's not the problem, she has loud screeching sounds that give away her positions anyway.
That loud beeping is the lulluby i was mentioning. Shea also the only killer with a stealth mode that has a lulluby which makes thr noises and shows up like a mild terror radius for anyone with the heartbeat thing on. Before that existed you really had to listen to know she was coming which worked more like chuckies stealth without the footprints. Shes also the only stealth killer without an m2 that helps somehow in chasemaking her the worst for stealth and just has mobility going for her with no chase power - other than spamming tvs
-
I do miss the old sadako. They could also remove her luluby since everyone now uses the terror radius heart thing even tho they are not deff lol
-
Someone mentioned an idea where he carries all his traps, and once disarmed they regenerate back to him. Which seems moderately fair seeing as every other setup killer doesnt have to go looking for their items and can regenerate them mid chase. That + removing the stepping in his own traps could be a significant enough buff i think
-
I can't say im having the exact same experience, 70% of the time i do pretty well, get lots of points, maybe die or make it out the door. The other 30% are springtraps or kanekis turbo tunneling people off the hooks so all you can do is try to get points before its your turn (if you weren't chosen first)
-
Once had a round similar to yours only i was the killer and i hooked the first person i chased, the other 3 were in lockers waiting for them to die, so it dawned on me they were not going to help them. I went over to their hook, stood there till they pulled themself off with anticamp, and then proceded to team up with them to go find and hunt down the other 3, starting with the lockers she knew they were in. After killing them all together, she let me hook her too as they didn't want the hatch lol

I have dracula and xeno at 100, currently got ghoul to 89. But ive been playing allot more survivor this event due to faster ques and bp incentive. Another reason is p100s were extremely nerfed for cakes in this event as it takes 1 million bp just to get 7 cakes, a total waste when anyone else would have like 40 cakes for that amount. So i dont have much anniversary offerings on dracula, and its a waste to try to get them
-
Likely a bug. I play xeno often never seen that happen.
-
Whichever side is being played most, takes longer to load as they have to pair with the role thats being played less. So when new killers come out, or 2v8 starts, most people want to play the new killers or in killer duo with their friends, so the wait time gets much longer on killers and nearly instant with survivors. Also bloodpoont incentives are given to roles that are being played less (most often survivors) to try to get more people to play them and even it out
-
I doubt anyone will have a direct answer as to how its caused or what to do about it. But it is something you can put in the bug report section of thia page and the devs will take a look at it (however long thatl take) if you follow all the procedure for typing it out.
Also they ask for logs, (i havent used em before) but they might find the problem quicker or something if you upload the logs with these steps^
-
Once you reach level 50, prestige will give you : an upgrade in tiers to all 3 of that characters perks, will give those perks (at that tier) to all of your other characters (on killer or survivor) and start your bloodwebs over at level 1 again.
Once reaching prestige 100, every bloodweb will be the size of the level 50 bloodweb and prestiges will no longer go up.
-
Xeno main as well. Xeno is much stronger in chase because of the tail. Chucky is more fun if you enjoy in and out stealth like sadako and ghost face, if ur going for overwhelming chase pressure than xeno the better pick. I wont lie tho chucky has better luck against strong swf teams due to his unpredictability, xeno in higher mmr constantly gets swf teams that make "safe zones" with multiple turrets and everyone in the group will lead you there to chase them without power. Perkswise they are both evenly useful. Lastly between the 2 of them they both have unique fov among the whole roster - xenos fov goes closer to the ground when his tail is out (most of the round) which can be bothersome but you don't notice it till its an inconvenience. Chuckys fov is also close to the ground but very comfortable to play with because its the only killer im 3rd person.
As for survivor id say ada. More likely to get a new skin someday, decent perks. Laurie is dead in the water, and her perks require ur whole team to die, you being tunneled, or u wanting the killer to see where you are all the time lol
-
Im just mainly disapointed in the penalty for being p100 now having the most expensive cakes
-
They are monitoring feedback on the system( was what they said when asked about prioritizing items in bulk spending).
One odd thing about thr bulk spending tho is during this anniversary, they lowered the amount of cakes youd get in the bloodwebs, but if u use the bulk spending you get more cakes then u would leveling manually. Ontop of that its supposedly slight more expensive to bulk spend a prestige, so they don't really have the same rng between manual and bulk (just info ive gathered from most of the forum discussions)
-
One of those unique builds includes no mither, self care, strength in the shadows, and second wind.
-
Clearly they are aware of the issue if they intended "fix" was to give 1 guaranteed cake perk lvl 50 bloodweb, instead of fixing the whole thing right then and there to spawn like normal last years amount. So im kinda worried they are just going to leave it that way. If you are constantly presstiging 1 character sure they will rack up in numbers but when its not worth getting cakes on a character you blew months worth of points into, for no benefit at all except bragging rights and easier access to iri items/addons, it blows my mind that its 10x more worthwhile to just start prestiging some other character to get cakes at a seminormal rate which if you are playing that character to gain cakes, while also using the cakes it goes even slower.
-
Might be something to do with if the killer dc's the whole round gets prettymuch shut down, and if they started counting those for escape rates itd probly get more inflated. So they don't count it if anyone dc's
-
Previous events did spawn them allot more in the p100 bloodweb. with 1 guaranteed it feels quite nerfed. Even the killer bloodweb also only gets 1 per huge page, when before youd get 3-5 or so on each page.
-
So far the outfit shows the name aestri, and the characters face while in the game is also aestris. The center piece has not been properly fitted to baemar's voice/ingame icon/ and name.
-
100% the main thing im waiting for to be fixed. I have 100s on both sides and it is a total waste of points to try to givr your mains any cakes this year. Last year i was able to rack them up quickly and move on to other characters allowing a good supply for the rest of the year, this year you get like 70% less cakes unless you are leveling a character that isnt alredy 100, and even they have trouble getting enough for the year
-
Someone mention it seems to be spawning at the same rate as an iri addon which forces it to be 1 cake per killer lvl 50 bloodweb and maximum of 2 in regular bloodwebs. Its most likely bugged, as last year the p100s could stock up on cakes faster than anyone without having to waste as much bloodpoints, since each bloodweb would spawn like 3-5 cakes (even on survivor)
-
I now have 4 100s and a 75. Was looking forword yo getting lots of cakes on them easily like last year. Now it only gives 1 cake per bloodweb, not worth the cost on a 100 as u alredy have thousands of addons u just want more cakes but have to spend a max level bloodweb to get 1. But on my 75 they only show up 1 at a time every 1 or 2 levels with an extremely rare chance of getting 2 in 1 bloodweb.
Something is definitely not right here i think its bugged or something as i don't see a single reason to nerf spawn rates of anniversary cakes across the board which people wait all year to collect.
-
Having the challenges seperated also made them last longer, which sounds bad but really u wait an entire week or 3 just to get a new page of challenges and could play all day trying to get them done, now 1-2 rounds you have nothing on the side to do except... bloodpoints... not only for the day but for the entire week, as even the dailies just do themselves.
-
I think they are more likely to give her regular outfits before another 30$ power swap outfit - before any of the other killers get a new power swap outfit. Most of her skins would also end up being so expensive that noone buys them due to not very many dedicated mains.
-
When the added the first skin for trapper with a new mori, it took quite a while for the huntress skin with the new mori to be made and then wayy after that was dracula getting a mori skin. Im asuming houndmasters skin was a test to see how power customisation would go as a skin and turned out rather poorly, so who knows if they will try it again or something different. Maybe around the time they add customization of legendary skins that they seemed interested in
-
90% of the time he is behind something when looking at him through the cameras so theu would barely work
-
- Don't wait in the end game chat to say something if uve been tunneled or camped to death, its easier to just go to the next round and forget about it, as the chances are that person is waiting to hear what u have to say and bait an arguement out of you anyway.
- Play both sides equally, seeing what the other side goes through / is capable of helps to learn how to play against the other players, like not knowing how the killer found you right away after kicking a generator, if youve tried the knight and his perks you would understand a perk exists that allows the killer to see where you are if ur near a kicked generator. Playing both sides also helps to get quests/challenges/achievements done faster and if u feel burnt out on one side, you can comfortably go play the other for a while.
- Always asume a killer can sneak up on you at anytime so keep an eye out on surroundings, every killer can use perks and addons to turn their terror radius off and come up to you with barely any sound.
- If the killer is chasing you to a hooked survivor, do not pull them off the hook unless they are very close to losing a hook state. Sitting there unhooking a survivor while the killer gets a free down eliminates an entire chase worth of time of people on generators and makes the killer win faster. There is also a perk from rebecca chambers called reasurance that can be used to run by and pause the hooked survivors timer if you are being chased near them.
-
In the new map, i tried a couple rounds aa my p100 dracula, though i got everyone to deathook, they all escaped every time, even walking through the exit gate gauntlet addon like it was just a funny lightshow for them on the way out. So i jump on rize for 1 round, everyone died on first or 2nd hook without having to slug or tunnel. Either the ghoul is just that much more oppresive and quick to get downs with, or those players barely wanted to play due to ghoul hate and go next prevention on hold.
-
Doesnt really help unless you are defending a single generator, so the rest of them fly while your busy chasing people away from that one thats almost done

I play a lot of xenomorph and I still find him more appealing.
yeah, im missing out on range, but my power is almost twice as fast to deal damage within effective range (we will account both wind up & release & delay) after I tap the button, I am actually 4.6 all the time, my power is not limited with an extra long cooldown so if I dont miss tail, I have basekit STBFL on a superior attack and my tunnels arent shared with survivors (and they also feel nicer to use plus they have tracking aspect to them so I can find survivors or check all gens)
Turrets arent pleasant to deal with, but I'd rather deal with bodyblock traps and occasional double setup I can still avoid if I dont let survivor reach it for free rather than with free map mobility that survivors can use very freely because the timing to interrupt it is incredibly narrow
Ive also got xeno to p100 and still play him over springtrap, i just mean how springtrap doesnt have to deal with the lower viewpoiint, the doors are easier to just go in pick one come out, and then u get such a long undetectable status to just get the drop on people just for using the door. On xeno i often feel like walking to a generator rather than going in the tunnel ecause they wont know my exact direction im coming from unless they can see me, and sometimes it feels really out of the way and long to get in and travel with just to get to the other side. And i don't know about occasional double turrets but im at a stage where everyone places double turrets lol. Im just saying springtraps utility park feels faster and easier to use with more benefits. Ibdo occasionally use the tunnels to find someone with the wider footstep detection addon. Hes just got allot more going against him with the exception of fire rate on his m2. And so far everyones afraid to use the doors anyway until ur against swat teams
-
Dracula is the oldest character out of all of these, and i don't mean him being immortal but the franchise has been around since 1987 spanning over 25 games, atleast 20 of which he is the final boss in each of them. (Which ive played and finnished all of them) so it was quite exciting to finally play as the og castlevania Dracula for the first time (outside of a wii fighting game), and to see a "semi revival" of the franchise since its been dead for several years.
-
Most of those hard tunnel rounds they are choosing someone thats easier to catch, if anyone gets off generators to help them thats extra pressure on generators not being done, and then as soon as they go on a hook they are stuck waiting to get hit the second their feet touch the ground so like being chased with no mither on all game, and then after all the pallets are wasted trying to save this 1 person the killer just hooks 1 slugs the other 2 done.
And thats supposed to be that survivors fault? No its just an "easy win" move that the survivor can't do anything about because the game is designed around the killer having to chase and catch 4 people 3 times each before 5 generators go off. when a survive with friends swat team uses every aspect of communication and overpowering the killer through numbers, thats an entirely different ballgame compared to just random people who don't know eachother and are just queing up for some points.
-
As a xeno main looking at springtrap being better and more comfortable to play in almost every way, it is noticeable they are slowly running out of unique ideas.
The game has to fix each killer to revolve around generators/windows/pallets. They've never considered adding some kind of new loop mechanic besides windows and pallets, for example when springtrap was teased it almost sounded like they wanted to add vents.
As for perks theres only so many ways to increase healing speed to a point where most of the healing perks now just add a slight boost in speed when mixed with oreilas perk.
Itd be nice to see older killers brought up to par with todays "updated" killers even tho they are still somewhat effective

To play as: Legion. Will never get bored of these guys.
To play against: It's a toss up between Xeno (though I see very few of these, sadly) and mirror Myers (but I'm not sure I'll see another one after the map offering change. RIP).
Might see even fewer as springtrap is xeno 2.0 with none of their weaknesses. Ill still play xeno though lol
-
I guess when xeno came out i played it well enough to reach the softcap and beyond and then you really start to see all the flaws of your favorite killer. For example how xeno is decent against solo que but made to be obliterated by swf groups that can just make "safe zones" that the whole team will run to and rebuild. I dread playing xeno now and force myself to anyway. Sometimes i get lucky with a solo que group still.
I also still enjoy queing as killer by doing a "round robin" thing where you play each killer on the list until you win a round then switch to the next one
-
Balanced. But like nostromo they didnt have to rip the place in half and make it 40% iconic indoor area 60% basic empty outdoor area. Wouldve been a big enough building for a whole map
-
Tried a round as xeno and a round as shaggy, his doors are far superior to the xenos tunnels in speed of use, ease of navigation, added long time stealth, capable of instadowning anyone using a door from anywhere, proximity to objectives, quieter exiting sound effects, and even the counterplay from the doors is nearly useless compared xeno. While xeno has to crawl in, crawl all the way to where it wants to go, alert survivors with beeping of turrets, alert survivors with loud exiting sounds, and then get burnt out of its m2 by the items that come from the tunnels lol
-
Eager to see what they have planned for "anti tunnel" changes. Since they alredy made shoulder the burden, all i can see them doing is giving incentives to avoid tunneling, or the classic "extra protection added" when it comes to being unhooked lol
-
Played till i hit the 5 mill bp cap. Will try again when the anniversary cakes come in to spend it (without the bulk spending cuz thatl avoid them completely)
-
Xeno-Rize-Dracula-Skull Merchant
Been a big fan of aliens vs predator since i was a kid
Rize was one of my favorite anime characters (sad theres no badge or banner of her tho)
Dracula ive played allllllllll the castlevanias start to finnish and it was a nice addition to finally be able to play as him for once. (Absolutely depressed about Shanoa and Simon Belmont not being legendary skins though)
Skull merchant is probly the first original character they made where i just really liked the character model and got allllll of their cosmetics to this day, still waiting for a day when she and rize arent hated by everyone.
-
So far all they said was they were monitoring feedback on the bulk spending system - when i asked about choosing priority items. Seems like they want to add it, the know everyone wants it, but its like testing out 2v8 for the first time then figuring out how to add more to it.
But it is kind of a waste to have it put in the game without that feature before the anniversary event as you can bet itl avoid every anniversary cake it can lol
-
I dunno about there being a lore change, but 4/12 hooks to become nearly unstoppable is a bit too fast
-
My matches against him have been 50/50 either im looping him very long, or he catches me quickly. Also i played as him twice and had 3 kills, with 1 barely getting out a gate, and then 4 kills for the adept. Id say its mostly skill issue so far as his axe is a very tiny hitbox and requires knowing exactly where its going to hit and good accuracy. Like huntress hatchets are like throwing bowling balls and his is like shooting a small arrow that can even brush past someone by a millimetre
-
The grab also makes ur attack undodgeable like how people do that 360 spin and make people with controllers hit thin air, its not meant to be the main focus as u hit them with the axe so now u start phase 2 of the chase of downing in 1 of 2 ways, whichever comes first, and survivors do kinda panic trying go pull the axe out as they cant drop a pallet at the same time as they are pulling so its kinda like the birds from artist adding a slight distraction while running. And i wouldnt say the axe is easy to dodge, more that its harder to aim with its alien tail sized hitbox but its harder to read because it comes out too fast
