The issue I have is that nobody has been complaining about Nurse having a husband, and all the other back stories that have straight relationships, but when it comes to anything "LGBTQIA+" it's always "DBD isn't the place for this etc".

I think what OP means is the flashlight spam clicking caused by macros. Is has a characteristical sound and should be looked into, since no human being can click 10+ times per second.
You can set your your mouse wheel to be the one that clicks your flashlight so it's incredibly easily to do with clicking without the use of a macro.

How can you grade the difficulty on both sides as if this is a single player game? Both sides are easy? When the unaccountable diversity of player skill is involved?
Nah, ain't buying what you're selling, cheif. One side has to be more difficult overall. The way your saying it suggests you survive and 4k every game you play. You're just justifying your own egotism at this point.
Not really?
Just because i say "Killer is easy" doesn't mean I think survivor is harder or vice versa. This game is incredibly easy to understand, and both sides are very easy to play, do I come across survivors that are better than me? Yes, does that mean the game is hard? No.
-
This idea sounds cool tbh.
Would you limit the amount of stacks or?

Oh gosh sorry again! I was genuinely trying to help because you seemed a bit lost, but maybe I´m wrong on that too. I wish you best of luck, lots of fun and hope you will be able to overcome the percieved unfairnesses at some point!
and I wish you the best of luck on your attempts to successfully belittle people, unfortunately by implying I somehow struggle because I find both sides easy you've failed your mission today, good luck dude!

I wish there was a block option in the forums to stop seeing activity from a particular user.
It's the same for survivors though, both sides have their bad games but the player base is too stubborn to be like "well, maybe I just made some mistakes". I had some guys call my leatherface OP because they tried basement saving when I was leaving the basement. Like, c'mon bruh.

I feel so bad now, sorry! I didn´t mean to call you out for struggling even after 5500 hours, maybe you´re just burnt out a bit or lost your drive to do well? Everyone goes through rough patches sometimes or meets better players, there´s no shame in that!
Your sarcasm is honestly lost on me, I know you're trying to be sarcastic but I've clearly stated I find both sides easy, can you point to where I said I struggle at 5500 hours? Your attempts to belittle me only make sense if I actually said survivor is hard and killer is easy, where as I find both sides easy.
Maybe try again in another thread as you've clearly not understood passive aggressive sarcasm as much as you think you have.

Yeah Killer is easy, but compared to Survivor it´s like super hard lol
Once you get to a higher rank and gather a bigger hour count you´ll see for yourself, but I totally remember how it was when I started too! I thought KIller was really op until I learned to loop and all that. Good luck on your journey gurl!
Yea I know I probably need more experience, my 5500 hours just isn't enough.

That´s because all the Survivor players have picked up Killer this patch to abuse the desync. They are learning the hard way that they wrongfully assumed Killer was ez :D
Killer Is incredibly easy and has been for years, it simply comes down to a lot of killers unable to admit they're just bad and assuming they're the best so when they lose it must be SWF/OP Perks.
-
7% haste for the entire match is too much.
You should start healthy and after being injured you can't heal but it doesn't allow the killer to know this would already be great for the perk.

Let´s hope it. Otherwise the matches will be really boring. Most killer mains i knew, switched to survivor and roflstomp killers.
I can´t imagine that to many new players would be attracted by a gen repair simulator with horror theme. But maybe the asian market is different from the western market.
Thankfully I actually know good killer mains who still "rofflstomp" constantly, even when using the dumbest meme builds imaginable.
-
@Tsulan said:
It's going to be hilarious! Seeing all gens repaired by the second hook sure will be a show.
Can't wait for it.
Yea the lack of skill I've seen killers have lately has been astonishing, hopefully they have some decent players on the killer side in this championship.
-
So most killers wait out dead hard anyway because of how easy it is to counter, this would just make dead hard useless because you know no matter when you use it, if they use it to avoid a hit, they'll end up on the ground exhausted anyway, if they use it for distance and the killer doesn't swing (like almost every killer because they have the brain to wait) then any amount of seconds "gained" by dead harding for distance is instantly nullified because the killer will catch you regardless, thus killing the perk entirely.
Two/Three years ago nobody complained about Dead Hard, now that nearly every perk on the survivor side has been changed or is getting changed it's become this heavy target because survivors had to change how they used it because dedicated servers killed it's dodging hit ability.
-
Congratz man!

I find killer quite enjoyable when I'm able to find matches :)

I mean, the dude is still AFK. He is not at all paying attention to the game. That's pretty AFK. It's just AFK with benefits.
idk man, I'm at like 5K hours, I've had less than 50 AFK killers and I've never once in my life seen an AFK killer using a macro to swing, it's unnecessary because the game doesn't boot for being afk so nobody runs anything like that, they're almost always wraiths and don't get seen all game.
-
I do find it funny how for a long time no one talked about Dead Hard, and then servers came along and broke it, so survivors had to start using it earlier and earlier for it to be useful, now killers can't get enough of complaining about it.
Hopefully it stays as is, it's honestly fine.

Whatever, you directly quoted me saying exhaustion as a consequence for teabagging in an unedited post, and you can't admit you're wrong, ever. I feel sorry for anyone who knows you personally if this is how toxic you are online.
Can't admit I'm wrong? You said to me "way to read". Yet I asked if you had ever directly told me you wanted exhaustion to be the punishment and you gleefully pointed out a comment that had literally nothing to do with me except that I'd quoted it for comparing irl to dbd which is still insane.
You're the one that's quoting literal proof that you didn't directly tell me it was exhaustion related, and i stand by my point, you want exhaustion users punished, not t-baggers.

Why can't they institute a penalty? If it's toxic and they can't appeal to their sense of respect for their fellow human (ha), then why can't they get the exhausted condition for doing twenty squat thrusts right in front of me? If I were a person and just started popping off calisthenics in front of an angry man with a machete chasing me, odds are I'd be tired if I just spent the past two minutes sprinting away from him.
Probably because it's a video game, not real life? Maybe this is where the anger comes from t-bagging for most people, they muddle dbd up with real life, especially when you start comparing IRL men with machetes chasing you with video game characters as some sort of an apt comparison.
That's insane and probably warrants a more serious discussion with a licensed professional in my honest opinion.
Again, this was NOT a comment to me, I read it, saw you comparing real life and being too exhausted to t-bag, you NEVER once mentioned exhaustion as the penalty in a comment TO ME.

But what are they supposed to do?
They can't put sometthing like a cooldown on it because it would mess with gameplay (e.g trying to stealth around, trying to dodge huntress hatchets at low wall loops etc.)
Why can't they institute a penalty? If it's toxic and they can't appeal to their sense of respect for their fellow human (ha), then why can't they get the exhausted condition for doing twenty squat thrusts right in front of me? I said "exhausted" this whole time. Way to not read.
I probably ignored it because of how ridiculous it would be to only give someone exhaustion as a punishment when that just means your issue isn't t-bagging, it's exhaustion users, lmao.

Because people can't be unpleasant unless it's to your face? That's such a load of crap.
Oh wait, I see your edit "punish survivors with exhaustion for 30 seconds" ok go ahead, I don't run exhaustion anyway, I think the real issue here is players that are better at chases than you are at looping, if your punishment doesn't affect everyone then your issue with t-bagging isn't the t--bagging itself the issue you have is with exhaustion players and that they often t-bag you because you can't catch them, got it.
and no, it's really not, some random who has no idea who you are spamming ctrl is not offensive or at least to me, unpleasant. And also, how does a 30 seconds exhaust punish people doing it in the exit gates? lol.
I'm thankful I'll be able to t-bag and be t-bagged for the life span of this game bc like I said, it's fun. :)

Who says it causes losses? I said it's meant to mindgame the killer, or be really unpleasant in the endgame and say "hey killer, we don't respect you, even a little bit!" right at the exit gate.
Not really a "mind game" then like you said. If it doesn't at least have the potential to affect the match in anyway.
How is it "unpleasant" it's literally some pixels, from some randomer who doesnt know you spamming ctrl, lol.

Your sample size of 1 is irrelevant, and noted.
Amount of games I've lost due to t-bagging "mind games" - 0
Amount of games killers have lost to t-bag "mind games" - 0
Seems to be a lot of other people in here calling out on the ridiculousness of wanting a 0 effect action to be punishable, and rightly so.

Circular logic stupidity.
"It doesn't do anything!"
"Okay, it's adversely affecting the enjoyment of killer players, so let's get rid of it."
"No, don't do that! We need it!"
"Why, what does it do?"
"It doesn't do anything!"
Endlessly and forever. It must do something, otherwise you wouldn't fight so hard to keep it. You don't get to say it doesn't matter but then that it should never be gotten rid of when people say it affects their enjoyment in a negative manner. Because then you just prove affecting people's enjoyment in a negative manner is the whole point.
What?
I said it's fun, I never said it adversely affects the enjoyment of a killer, its cool that you're comfortable putting words in my mouth though.
It doesn't both me when I play killer, so why should I advocate for something that doesn't bother me as killer, but I enjoy doing as a survivor?
-
@Theninjajesus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1862514#Comment_1862514
Then why do it? Why fight so hard to keep it?
If it doesn't have a benefit and you can get rid of it without consequence, then why are you arguing so hard that you should be allowed to do it without any concessions?
If it doesn't serve a purpose it literally does not matter. It does something, right?
Because it's fun? Because everytime I see my team mates I like to do a little t-bag to say hello, because it's funny to t-bag a killer who's spent the entire game being terrible and tunneling off hook, BECAUSE ITS FUN & It Doesn't Do Anything To The Game.
In the same vein, I don't think it does anything, so why put effort into removing something that has 0 effect on the game?
-
@Theninjajesus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1862496#Comment_1862496
It's not a straight punishment. They can choose to do it and mindgame and RISK injury, or they can choose not to and get away safe. Likewise, the killer can choose to hit a hooked survivor and RISK them getting a free unhook, or they can keep that player hooked safe. Actions have consequences. As of right now, there's no consequence for teabagging a killer, nor is there a consequence for a killer hitting a survivor on the hook. If they want to engage in bad manners to mindgame someone, there needs to be a chance of it backfiring.
Holy heck this conversation is ridiculous how do you not see the comparisons you're making are so far from each other?
Survivors t-baggin is not a "mind game" there is no "what if I t-bag him and he loses this chase because of it" t-bagging changes absolutely nothing in the game, it doesn't have any power at all, on the other hand, hitting a survivor on the hook gives you benefits already (unlike t-bagging) as you're actually face camping to do it, which is far stronger than t-bagging ever could be, ontop of it you actually think letting the killer hit someone until they pull off the hook is something healthy, killer camp and tunnel, do you not think if a survivor pulled off infront of them they'd just let them go?
T-bagging is not "mind games" lmao.

Remove Victor's ability to down survivors. He could ride on injured survivors the same way he rides on healthy ones. While preventing them from doing tasks.
Problem solved!

-
@Theninjajesus said:

I think hitting Survivors on the hook should give the Survivor a 20% chance to be jostled free, yes. It's scumbag stuff from the killers. I think a Survivor within 5M of the exit crawling should have a "tumble chance" of 20% if a pickup is attempted. I absolutely believe killers with bad manners should experience consequences.
Because the game isn't goofy enough to have flying perks or medkits that fire fish, there is an obvious difference between "you can take multiple hits and heal yourself" and "you obviously want realism because nobody flies or shoots fish out of medkits" like c'mon seriously?
and again, those things sound ridiculous, you have a 20% chance to "jostle free" so the killer can just hit you and put you back on the hook and force kill you?????
You have a "tumble chance" the thing is you straight want survivors punished from the sounds of it, but you want killers to "maybe" be punished, sounds like bias in all honesty.
-
@Theninjajesus said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1862343#Comment_1862343
And killers want there to be a consequence for crouching 30 times in front of a pallet after they just sprint flat out for minutes of a chase and flinging a pallet down.
And there's always SOME kind of realism in the game. It's why medkits function like medkits instead of firing fish. The game conforms to some kind of realism. This is a minimal change that doesn't take away your ability to do anything, and in response you call me mentally ill.
That's some real unhealthy aggression, champ.
"Why don't we have flying perks, bc the game has realism"
"Why don't medkits fire fish, bc the game has realism"
What even are these sentences?
I suppose you only want punishments for survivors too, right? No punishments for killers hitting on hooks, or making the survivor crawl all the way to the exit gate and picking them up just before they leave and hooking them, no punishments for nodding, or t-bagging as certain characters?
That's the thing, all of the things above I would argue against punishments for as well because it's ridiculous.
-
And also, if you're being chased by machete man, would you run to a pallet, drop it, and run to another pallet? Would you magically heal yourself in a corner? This game is so far from realistic that using the "do you want realism" is a big fat no from me because if I were to be hit with a machete I would die, but it's a video game so that isn't the case.
No, I don't want any realism.
-
Ahhh yes, two killers vs 4 survivors sounds really fair.
Not being able to hook survivors isn't a good enough excuse to warrant victor being played by a second killer, most players slug anyway, and do well with it, I don't see how having two killers slugging survivors at the same time would be any weaker than one killer slugging.
I swear some of you don't play this game at all.

"Unless you're a top-tier killer"
Do you mean if you're a good player? Because if so, aren't killers always talking about how the game needs to be "balanced around the best players". Unfortunately, if you don't meet the cut you'll just have to deal with camping & 1Ks.

Can't believe people get this mad over t-bagging, we'll have disable it for pig & ghostface too as it's far too toxic to be in game.
-
Not really easy to disable it in this game without ruining more stealth.
There have been plenty of times myself, and I've seen others do it too, is where a killer is moving around an object and you have to use a combination of walking and crouching to be fast enough but lower than the object in some places to remain stealthy.
Not to mention I bet more survivors t-bag communicate with each other than killers actually get t-bagged.

https://youtu.be/Nb6T3jv6AKA I actually made a queue time video earlier bc someone told me that there is no debating survivor or killer queues as -without a doubt- killer queues are instant and survivors are long.
-
You have to take either the jane challenge or the survivor challenge to be able to do the middle one.
-
My survivor queues are near instant all day up until night time and then the times even out, they're about 20 - 30 seconds at that time.
If you play at a set specific time most days then you're always going to see the same "type of lobbies", if i played early morning where I am, my killer lobbies are always 4+ minutes and my survivor lobbies instant, if I play mid afternoon, both my survivor and killer lobbies can be either fast or slow, at night time, around 7+PM my killer lobbies are faster than my survivor ones but my survivor ones are by no means long.

Why would people complain about not being a killer lock? 100% of people I have talked with don't like killer lock. It's bad for both sides and has no purpose since MMR isn't on.
I think what they meant is that, they'll turn it off now, everyone will rejoice and get used to it again, but then, when they put it back on, it'll be back to complaining about it.
I personally think it's best left on too just so people don't get used to it being off, then on, and then if MMR doesn't work are thye expected to turn it off again and then back on etc etc.

It has been pointed out time and time again, that the anecdotal cases of people who live in remote regions, do not reflect the average wait times, and again, nobody is buying your biased garbage other than other biased survivormains.
Killer times are instant. Survivor ques take a while. I would make a similar video, but no need, as the entire community knows survivor que takes way longer. This is not debatable, and I wont waste my time further explaining this to salty survivormains who cant handle truth. Enjoy your long que times.
gg
idk man it's almost like my first reply said
"It all depends on the time that you play, so if you always play at a time in your region not a lot of X are on, your lobby is either going to be fast or slow"
Sounds pretty unbiased to me, idk how I'm biased for pointing out that sometimes killer lobbies are long, and sometimes survivor lobbies are long, lmao.

It is not debatable that survivor que times are long, and killer que times are nearly instant. You can try to debate it if you want, but nobody is buying it, especially from you.
I don't need to debate it with anyone, I can just provide a video that shows my survivor lobbies are instant and my killer lobbies at 4+ minutes.
Unlike the majority of people I don't make claims, I just talk the truth about my experience.
