Slowdown builds seemed to work well on him on the PTB so I will probably try those first, then maybe branch out a bit once I'm used to his playstyle.
-
Nothing unless they start to act toxic or cocky. Then I tend to embarrass them infront of their audience. Most twitchy's are fine though.
-
I agree that the change to the base kit was a little much, but in all honesty they would have needed to put seriously hefty negatives on all of her addons if they didn't change her base kit a least a little bit as she was already the strongest killer in the game without perks or addons compared to other killers running full loadouts.
-
Noed doesn't need a buff. It does its job by punishing gens being rushed to quickly without respecting the chance it comes into play. If any changes were made to Noed it would be a full rework that would provide a similar effect to what it does now, but I doubt that would happen as the Devs seem to be content with it as of now.
-
If Freddy was a weaker killer I would be all for it, but in all honesty he is strong enough to deal with a counter like this. I'd rather they change OoO in the future instead of changing Freddy cause OoO is broken as is against all killers, including those who are weaker than Freddy. Trapper especially suffers.
-
The games been competitive for years now. At the very least since the ranking system was implemented. The game is honestly drawing in a more casual crowd recently as far as I've seen. Especially with the release of the Silent Hill chapter.
Sounds like you need to take a break from the game. I take weeks off from playing periodically myself with no excuse or justification. I just take a break so I can come back better.

Perks
Save the Best for Last, Pop goes the Weasel, Prefferred Tracking Perk, Free Perk Slot.
Addons
Rat Liver and Either +1 Portal addon
Be aggressive and use your M2 to preserve your StbfL stacks. Learn to bait survivors into dodging by faking your M2 to gain distance. Place portals strategically around objects you want to protect like totems, gens and door. Use your M2 to break pallets when you can.
-
Who cares?

I agree that Huntress's addons should be changed at this point and will likely happen when they look at her addons, but Clown should keep it as a niche addon in his arsenal. I occassionally play against very good survivors at Rank 1 that don't use Exaustion perks, which makes this addon worthless.
The most popular exaustion perk, Sprint Burst is rarely effected by these addons as well. For the most part this addon is only used to counter Dead Hard which only works on good Killers once anyway.
Overall I think this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things and I would rather Iridescent Hatchets be changed first.
-
Didn't your Daddy ever teach you fishing with bad bait is a waste of time. You gotta put the good stuff on the hook to catch anything worth while.
-
Pyramid head actually will counter this a bit with his m2, but for a perk we could have something like
Nothing is Free
"Every time a Generator is completed gain a stack, the next time a survivor takes a protection hit for another survivor, that survivor is instantly put into the dying state and you lose a stack."
-
Ormond for obvious reasons.
-
As long as achievements and currency are not earned in the match sounds good to me.
-
Trapper is easy to learn, but has a high skill ceiling in red ranks so can be difficult to master. Trap placement, pallet jukes, proper time management when setting traps up is something that takes a bit of time to nail down. Hag can also be grouped here as she is mechanically similar with slightly different strengths and weaknesses.
Nurse falls into the same boat being reletively easy to learn, but difficult to master. Her mechanics are simple and straight forward, but what takes time and seperates god nurses from others is survivor prediction, map awareness and being able to use this knowledge with a killer that can take advantage of it more than others.
-
He's not the best survivor skin no. He's easy to see and tends to be a bit on the louder side. A lot of his cosmetics are easy to see as well. Overall though, unless your running full blendette it doesn't matter much as long as you have the perks you want.
-
Don't buy DLCs right away. We learned this with Freddy. Sure it's terrible business, but ultimately your making the decision to buy the DLC early while being fully aware a nerf very well could happen. It is what it is and they aren't forcing you into a purchase.
-
As long as Deerstalker works as a counter sounds good to me.
-
This happens once every blue moon for me. Seems to me like you need to take a break from the game and cool off.
-
I'd be indifferent. Depends on how much he shakes up the meta that's been the same for almost 2 years.
-
Unrelenting: Each missed attack fills you with more determination. For each missed attack you have in a chase gain a token. Each token reduces your miss and successful attack cooldown by 15%. Upon striking a Survivor you lose 1 stack. Cooldown 5 seconds. Passive: Missed attack cooldown reduced by 30%

They need to make that money.
But seriously 10$ is not much for the cosmetics you get, my only gripe is having to still work extra hard to complete the pass. Progression should be doubled at least if you bought the battle pass and give auric cells, Iridescent shards, and bloodpoints to the free pass, but with normal progression.
-
As a masochist, yes I very much enjoy playing killer.
-
Iridescent Head Huntress is prolly the only build that actually guarantees a win. Otherwise Instasaw Billy or Nurse in the hands of a good player can give even the best teams a hard time.
-
Wraith isnt bad, hes just addon reliant. A good Hillbilly with no addons or perks can do the same thing that a Wraith can using perks and addons.
Also a majority of survivors in Red Ranks have been boosted into that rank overtime, so most survivors are not actually true Red Rank survivors.
-
Clown and Ghostface
-
Lorewise? Probably Ace. No telling how many lives he has ruined with his "luck".
-
The only way IT can be in the game is if its using its avatar, Pennywise, to parasitize fear from the survivors that are trapped by the Entity. Otherwise IT and the Entity could have a mutual understanding as the Entity feeds on Hope and IT feeds on Fear and are simply using each other for food. The problem with that idea is neither needs a symbiotic relationship to attain what they want so it would feel forced.
-
True horror is the sense of dread, hopelessness and exposure to something unknown. Dead by Daylight as a multiplayer game can't really do true horror. The most this game can do is what most horror fans would call "cheap jumpscares" which people grow numb to after a short time.
-
Im all for the idea as long as the gates regress if you jump off the lever. If you want to open the gate faster thats fine, but if you want to 99% gates faster then sorry but no.
-
In game behavior is the appetizer, but the end game chat is the main course.
-
I'd rather the game keep its unique style and build upon it instead of copying other games that already had failed releases and are either re releasing themselves or dead.
-
The main issue with DS is it discourages the player from increasing their skillset and overall knowledge of the game. Playing with perks that erase your mistakes for you ultimately harms you as a player, but if you play with out them you put yourself in a situation where you are actively trying to learn from your past mistakes, iron out those flaws, and perfect your potential as a player.
I do understand that some people are adverse to learning or embracing new ideas or playstyles so its ultimately up to each player in the end.
-
I'd be all for them making small changes to the hatchets hitbox as long as the huntress gets changes to make her throws more responsive and less sluggish overall.
-
You can literally mindgame Deathslinger in the open. You don't even need to lose LoS. He punishes you if your predictable, that's it.
-
Doctor is fine
Shapes ultras are balanced and fine
Freddy's basic attack range is the same as every other killer, hes just smaller than most killers so it looks longer.
Nearly everyone that plays this game seriously knows that Iridescent Heads are overpowered and the Devs have mentioned in the past that they are going to balance it.
-
You lost your argument when you said it wasn't fun for the survivor. This is a pvp game, and your goal is to complete your objective. If your worried about the opposite team having fun your only ruining your own experience. Obviously that is up to you, but I would rather punish survivors for unhooking someone unsafely and use that to apply more pressure against them.
-
If the survivors look like slugs and act like slugs, its not my place to tell them what they aren't. I simply help them along their journey of self discovery.
-
AI is to predictable for this game. Killer AI will have no mind game potential and its already been proven that a survivor usually can loop a killer around the map by throwing the pallets generously and the gens will still get finished before the survivor goes down. The AI will literally have to cheat to be a threat and even then, people will figure out when the AI will react in a certain way and take advantage of it. Survivor AI in the same light will literally be way to easy and dumb to be worth playing against as killer or will literally run every loop perfectly without mind gaming at the highest efficiency possible resulting in a frustrating experience.
Essentially the guess work involved in the game will be removed and either the AI will know everything and play around that or play stupid and let you win on purpose. I just can't see Behavior dedicating enough time to make an AI that could challenge good players without literally making it cheat. Alien Isolation for example had incredible AI, but even then it had funding from a giant like SEGA to make that happen. Id prefer playing against real people at the end of the day, its a different experience every game and with people playing the offline mode the online queues will negatively suffer.
If I wanted Behavior to dedicate resources to a new gamemode Id rather it either be a competitive mode without SWF that is Balanced for that, or and a 2 killer gamemode of some sort. Considering neither one of those will happen and will also negatively effect queues, I think I'm good with what we have.

I still bring Detectives Hunch to every match and still to this day I haven't had a single match where I made it to the end of the game with NOED still in play. I also usually get more Bloodpoints than the killer in those scenarios.
-
Oni is a Hillbilly who needs a snickers bar.
-
No killers are OP. Only thing that is unfair is Iridescent hatchets which will be fixed eventually.
-
I haven't seen NOED in a single one of my matches cause by the time the exit gate opens I've cleansed all of the totems. Run Detectives Hunch all of the totems are down in a couple minutes.
-
Current meta will not change until it is nerfed. The Second chance meta for survivors is incredibly strong and you basically will have to kill the perks to change the meta to something else. Killers either have the Snowball Meta or the Slowdown Meta which is their only response to the survivors meta.
If the survivors meta changes to Stealth killers will shift their Meta to tracking. Gen times increase? Slowdown meta becomes less favorable. Healing slows down? Inner Strength becomes required.
In all honesty good killers end chases so quickly I doubt a Chase meta would ever exist, simply due to the fact that Survivor's Second Chance meta counters it.
-
Shards and Bloodpoints in the empty space would give me more of a reason to complete the rift. I support this.
-
Be careful starting fights on the playground. You could get hurt bro.
-
When I'm revving my Chainsaw as Bubba to get extra points off an injured survivor, and one of the other survivors starts trying to body block.
-
Addons:
1. Purple Windstorm
2. Silent Bell/Non Directional Bell
Perks
Thanataphobia
Sloppy Butcher
Nurses Calling
Thrilling Tremors/BBQChili
Strategy is hit and run to keep survivors guessing, always knowing where they are to start chases quickly and making healing as hard as possible to keep everyone injured. Pick them off 1 by 1. It's an acquired taste and hard to pull off on some maps but fun nonetheless.
-
Bloodlust should be relegated to a killer perk instead of baseline at some point yes. The problems with looping need to be fully addressed AND extensively tested before doing so though.
-
Don't get hooked, problem solved.
-
I don't think DS, Adrenaline, or Exhaustion perks are necessary for survivors, but are ran by a majority of people in red ranks and people will defend it as the only way to survive against tunneling/camping killers.
I don't run NOED as a high tier killer cause I don't need it. Whether or not I run Pop is build dependent.
