Blights fine, and literally the first killer in a long time I actually enjoy AND feel like my skill had a major part of my match results. Enough for me to start maining him at Rank 1.
He doesn't need any changes other than some addon adjustments and maybe VERY SLIGHT adjustments to his slam hitboxs.
-
I have 3-4ked every match so far with him at Rank 1. Even on enclosed maps like The Game or Lerys i had little issue. His skill cap is a lot higher than people think so don't hold yourself back and continue to practice.
-
Its a good addon, but only becomes great if you run one of the clapper addons along side it.
If they ever buff his cloaked speed like many people request, I wouldn't complain if they buffed it to 10 seconds instead of 6 seconds and made it a Purple Rare addon.
-
Nurse? Pyramid head? Spirit? Deathslinger? All of these killers change how chases work to a certain extent.
They are also the most complained about killers on the forums due to being unfun/boring/#toohard so there's that. I welcome new killer mechanics, there is just a vocal community who don't.
-
Tunneling is just a derogatory term certain indivuals invented to describe a killer going for a survivor who was unsafely unhooked or did not make themselves scarce before the killer returned to the hook if not in another chase already.
If you unhook unsafely without BT or DS then I will punish you for it.
If you heal under the hook and I return I will punish you for it.
If you taunt me after an unhook, I will slug you to keep pressure and waste your DS.
Its the nature of the game, as a killer I will do everything in my power to maintain control of the game once I start applying pressure. If thats removing a player from the game quickly because they or their teammates play badly/cocky then so be it.
-
People who call this game killer sided are either too casual or too ignorant to play the game at the level required to experience the imbalance. It is what it is.
-
I have 650 hours in game as killer and Im matched against Survivors with 3k+ hours on a regular basis and I usually wreck them.
Playing against people better than you is how you learn new ways to play. New stratagies, new mind games, applying pressure in different ways. If you always play against people at your skill level or below you won't have the same opportunity to get better.
Game time also is not a good measurement of skill in this game. Experience maybe, but not skill.
-
Never, Ive played the game long enough to welcome challenges. Especially streamers who are decent, cause I'll go and watch their match against me to learn how they play and react against my playstyle and use it to learn.
Everytime i hear streamers say things like, " what is this guy doing?, I cant predict him." Or "i didn't expect that" I consider it a compliment. Do I always win? No, 4 keys or toolboxes is basically a guaranteed loss unless I'm playing Nurse or Spirit, but I suprise myself sometimes so I try anyway.
-
Legions whole power is having the ability to INJURE everyone quickly. The problem is once people are injured your just an M1 killer that only needs 1 hit to down your targets. While this isnt bad per say the major flaw is you have nothing base kit that let's you deal with loops.
A survivor who is good at looping can run you around the map generously dropping pallets and you most likely won't catch them until 1 gen is left. This is why Enduring and Spirit Fury are incredibly good on Legion.
I'm not saying Legion is bad or anything, I play them all the time at rank 1, but I do think killers like Doctor or Wraith are better for new players for the most part.
-
The problem isn't necessarily solo survivor, it's SWF. If the Devs would want to balance killers against SWF, Solo survivors would need a buff to compensate. SWF just creates a balancing nightmare when played optimally, luckily most groups are cocky, ignorant, or casual so it rarely happens.
I just want my bloodpoints tripled so my 3 minute match wasn't a waste of my time, otherwise whatever. Its the same sort of situation as "I'll do the crappy job for you that I won't enjoy, but I want my wage increased as compensation"
-
The OP saying that not using M1 as Hillbilly is the most optimal way to play is so wrong it hurts. What makes a good Hillbilly good is knowing when to M1 or M2 in specific situations, relying on one or the other just proves you need more experience with the killer.
I'm not even a great Hillbilly cause I haven't mained him in years and I can 3-4k most matches, and I've yet to overheat once. The Chainsaws main strength is the mobility it provides, the potential for 1hitko is a bonus if you can make it work.
-
Just make it so if you switch to another survivor in a lobby the items unequip. If that's not enough unequip perks as well. If they play as intended its little extra work, if not they risk entering the match naked.
-
Out of Demogorgon's entire kit I think Shred is the only redeeming quality.
Having 16m Anti Stealth Foot steps, Severe set up problems, and less than decent addons I think those are all actual problems.
-
He's a killer main streamer so it makes sense for his audience to be similar. I personally don't watch him because of his constant excuses, complaints and a mild superiority complex.
He also misses seeing survivors so often it hurts my eyes. He is a streamer though so I can understand his attention is sometimes elsewhere.
-
The first change he needs is a reduction on the cooldown when exiting Feral Frenzy based on the number of survivors hit during the frenzy. Rewards playing the character well. Other than that maybe a slight increase to Feral Frenzy's speed and duration at base could be alright.
Legions whole strength is being strong in the 1v4, if you make him powerful in the 1v1 he can quickly become too powerful in all situations which limits counter play. Legion will then be labeled as a "Boring killer" by survivors like Spirit.
-
Enduring + Spirit Fury help with this counter. Always play aggressive and if they throw it early, great hit them and move on or break the pallet if they decide to leave. If they stun you, you get pulled out of your power with little drawback and start building/activate spirit fury for a free hit. If your chasing someone already injured you shouldn't be in Frenzy unless your needing to track other survivors on the map.
-
Hatch isn't giving the survivors a win, its them accepting a loss. You win when the 3rd survivor is sacrificed, anything after that is bonus points. Keys are another story though.
-
Legion just needs a built in CD Reduction when ending Feral Frenzy based on the # of survivors he hit so the killer is rewarded with lethality in the 1v1 for hitting multiple survivors. Otherwise their kit is fine.
-
Billy was also getting his much needed addon overhaul along with Bubba, so it made sense to do it now.
-
A Lovecraftian character could work. A Cult Leader who had fully given himself over to his Gods, thus being transformed in their image. Upon being snatched up by the Entity he finds A new God to worship and serve. The Survivor could be a lost Sailor on the edge of madness from his experiences with Lovecraftian horrors, but still anchored firmly in reality to prevent him from succumbing.
-
As long as survivors are given the same rule in the future, this doesn't bother me.
-
Some people need training wheels. Its a weird fetish, but I won't judge. Different strokes for different folks.
-
Double the current benefit and give .75% movement speed per token. If they are worried about stacking perks like Bamboozle or Brutal Strength just make it not stack with an other perks, while also boosting it slightly more by including missed weapon cooldown.
8%/16%/24%/32%/40% off all actions except hit weapon cooldown, and .75%/1.5%/2.25%/3%/3.75% movement speed.
-
I'm pretty sure Oni would win. He's one of the strongest of the killers, one of the fastest, by far the most experienced, and loves to bathe in the blood of the wounded to enhance his power which there would be blood everywhere during this.
PH and Myers while extremely high on endurance and strength are both reletively slow and have no technique. I think they could both be KOed by a Blood Fueled Oni but not killed considering they can't die.
Demogorgon would be blitzed being simply a large animal with no armor. It could give him trouble if it got a jump on him, but his katana would easily severe its limbs with no armor.
For Freddy it depends how powerful the Entity allows him to be. Its essentially Demon vs Demon though and Freddy's claws are not as threatening as Oni's Katana or Kanbo. In the dream Freddy toys with Oni forever. In the real world Oni stomps hard.
Oni MAY be one of the few killers that could blitz Spirit or Nurse while they are fatigued as well.
Everyone else in the roster either gets blitzed, loses due to the Oni's experience as a samurai, or are already killed off and fueling his blood craze.

Standard Build
Surge, Surveillance, StbfL, Corrupt Intervention / Ruin
Pretty Standard build for Clown. You get a good mix of info, stall, and chase. Corrupt or Ruin both help your early game its up to preference.
Aggressive Build
Fire up, Brutal Strength, Enduring, Bamboozle/ StbfL
This build relys a lot on luck. If you start downing people quick into the match, the survivors will struggle against you on loops, but if you get Ormand your basically going to waste your time.
Defensive Control Build
PptW, Devour Hope, Surveillance, Ruin
Set up a 3 or 4 Gen and play very defensively. If they don't find Devour or Ruin halfway through the match, you probably will outlast the survivors and snowball.
-
I'd rather the Dev balance outlying killers than worry about solid mid tiers like these 2. Clown and Spirit for example need more attention.
-
Surge is map dependant, and completely relys on how the killer uses it to determine whether or not its worth it. On maps like The Game, Hawkins, Sanctum of Wrath work well with the perk, but larger maps causes you to get little use out of it. Since most maps are still reletively large it falls behind perks like Ruin and Pop.
-
You could just find another match and move on. You say your a chill team, so why does this bother you at all?
-
I've gone against a group like this with Clown before. I got 2 kills and I got told that they were using the tools that the devs had given them.
I shrugged it off and told them if they need it to play they need it. They got a little mad after that.
-
The only reason a killer can win like this is if the survivors are not playing at the same skill level. If skill levels were equal this wouldn't happen 9 times out of 10
-
Make her traps less random by having each RBT last a set number of boxes. 1 trap would guarantee an open on the 1st box while another will guarantee 4 boxes.
This standardizes the time it wastes against the survivors so there aren't matches where everyone removes their trap on their first box, or the opposite.
Also make Rule set #2 baseline and rework the perk to allow survivors to only see 1 random box at a time, changing when the box is checked.
-
Add a stacking movement speed debuff to the killers if they remain within 32m of eachother for too long called Noncompliance since the killers wouldn't work together in most circumstances. Increase map size, and double gens and doors amounts. Should work well enough and may make some useless perks workable and even create a new meta.
-
The aura read can help in loops or jungle gyms where you need to break a pallet, allowing you to efficiently continue a chase or find a survivor trying to hide/juke you. Was it a necessary buff not really. Am I going to complain about an unnecessary buff to a niche perk, nah.
-
Same reason Survivors get mad if a killer runs NOED. Part of the player base can't control their emotions either due to the fact they are young or just can't handle the game well.
-
The problem wasn't is he still a good killer, cause he obviously will be. The problem was the developers stating they didn't want to change him much because they liked the unique playstyles people used on him such as curving, instasaw , steering and cooldown. They then proceeded to remove any ability to play some of those builds, and heavily restricted others. As of right now Stealth Billy is seemingly the most interesting ironically.
-
Docs fine as is
-
Leatherface only seems really strong with both of his pink addons. I'm sure they they will be adjusted, otherwise he seems fairly alright.
-
Just run DS? That's what its in the game for isn't? You or your teammates could also not do unsafe unhooks.
-
I actually run Lightborn on Billy with Agitation, Mad Grit, and StbfL/Iron Grasp if I see 2 or more flashlights in the group. It might seem like a meme, but all it takes is 1 down and the game usually snowballs cause nobody expects it. If it works at Rank 1 it's something at least. Not saying its good or pretty, but it can work if the survivors are stubborn enough. Smart survivors obviously won't fall for it more than once.
-
Considering FNAF 3s gameplay involved you running the killer around in circles so he wouldn't catch you, I'm sure he would fit right in.
-
Mild bait, good try though.
Until he is on the ptb and we see all of his addons ill reserve my opinion.
-
Eh I liked knowing where the cage spawned so Id know the location of 2 survivors for future knowledge, but its not a big deal. I rarely use the cages anyway unless i feel DS is in play or i can start a chase with another survivor immediately.
-
Hillbilly is an all around good killer that can be run with multiple different playstyles. Leatherface is mediocre unless running a very specific build in which case he basically becomes a Hillbilly with slighly better chase potential, but no map presence. Considering map presence is king in this game, Hillbilly is better.
-
It wasn't very long as far as I remember, but I don't remember exact times. It didn't really matter how long it took though considering hooks were permanently destroyed back then.
-
Survivors unhooking hooked survivors unsafely.
-
It's always ok to tunnel. Nothing more needs to be said.
-
Tunneling is a term made to convince killers playing efficiently is wrong. If I see an injured survivor I will take advantage of that information whether they were just unhooked or not. Pyramid head simply punishes unsafe unhooks harder than other killers and survivors need to respect that.
-
They have literally stated multiple times that Legendary skins will require all 3 pieces.
-
Hes solid mid tier, excels against new or average survivors, but will have a tough time against veterans.
-
The best way to buff it is to allow the blindness to remain for a period of time after the totem goes boom. Either that or each time you hit a survivor it stacks a different random status effect until the totem is broken.
